I was a complete beginner to setting up my home gym, this bench is really good but it has two problems:
the first problem is setting the bench to different positions, its a hassle. You have to pull the pin out, set the position, out the pin back in, a lot of time was wasted doing this. However this was my problem as i did not research the product in depth. Its better to spend the extra 10 and get the one that doesn’t require pin locks to change the seating position.
The second problem is the height of the chair to the floor when doing bench press. I am 5’7-5’8 and when doing the bench press, you don’t have solid foot position or can get much support from the your legs.
Apart from these two problems i faced, its really a solid bench, really sturdy and strong.
Easy to assemble, tricky working out which holes the pin needs to be in at start but a couple of uses and gets easier! Sturdy and comfy
This product is great apart from it does not sit level . Its is rocking as the one side is about 15mm off the floor . Not sure if this is a manufacturers fault. Very wobbly!!

Sturdy and comfortable with all of the adjustments is so versatile! Bought it for us doing home exercise. The bench assembly was straight forward and can be done by a single man. Once assembled it is easy folded away and easy set up again. The foot rest is good for doing sit -ups . 5 number of different setting to angle differently for each different exercise with different intensities. The tension ropes is great for arm muscles building.
We do really like the dumbbell holder is a nice added touch and now our Gym part doesn’t look so much of a mess. The built in wheels makes us so easy to move it, foldable and easy storage, don’t take much space.
We’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and haven’t noticed any problems with it. Great equipment for home Gym. Very impressed.
This is my first purchase for my garage which I am converting into a home gym. Setting it up was easy – clear instructions were provided. It is comfortable and feels sturdy. I like that it is versatile for many exercises and there is also an exercise sheet provided. It can hold dumbells on the back of it. It is easy to adjust and then to fold up and put away after use. Very impressed with this.

My neighbor recommended me this product for exercises. He works in gym and knows what he is doing. I’m not an expert but happy with this product. It feels good quality. I can’t find out if I can leave it outside, but I think if I usr cover should be fine for summer.
It has been very hard to find gym equipment since lockdown. Anything you do find has the price pushed way up. So I was happy to find a weights bench for this price. The instructions say it’s a 2 person job to assemble it but I did it by myself. The metal frame is solid – no different to my old York bench. You can move the bench into various positions. I personally just wanted an incline bench to add to my home gym setup.

Not very easy to assemble for a novice. The settings for the bench take a little bit of time to get used to when using, which can interrupt your exercise routine. It is reasonably compact, so doesn’t take up too much space. It seems very sturdy, supports a 17 stone user (only been in use for a few weeks, so long term remains to be seen).
Great value for money compared to those around online. Pretty easy to put together, would say 2 man job. Sturdy and stable and great quality. Only downside is resistance bands are very loose, luckily I have my own.
Ordered this last week and considering we are in a pandemic and I was given a month for it to turn up, for it to turn up within two day’s was very impressive. Reasonably priced considering the demand for this type of thing at the moment, came with clear instructions. The only slight negative would be when you first use it it’s difficult to get certain things in and out the holes when adjusting the bench from flat to incline etc. Overall very happy!
Great durability and quality, but EXTREMELY stiff to pull out the pins when adjusting, only fixed by coating them in oil which is not ideal. Also not great for shoulder workouts as it cannot sit close to a 90 degree angle and the seat slopes downwards slightly. Everything else is spot on.
So happy, came alot quicker than quoted and considering the current pandemic I’m o Dr the moon. Easy to assemble and you also get a basic wall chart of a few exercises if your new to fitness. Cost effective aswell. Now back to working out harder while I wait the gym to reope

Simple and effective, does the job.
I’m 85kg, using 35kg dumbbells and it feels solid and stable.
Not commercial quality obviously but kore than enough for home use.
Various angles are decent too.
The bands are useless, so light a 5 year old could use them.
Amazingly quick delivery considering current climate. Has taken 2 days to arrive and probably only 20-30 mins to assemble. The instructions could maybe be a bit more simple, but that’s more out of laziness out our part. Seems to be study and fit for purpose and look forward to using this whilst the gym isn’t an option. I’d recommend this over a cheaper option, gives you more flexibility for incline decline and the dumbbell rack and resistance bands are a nice added touch.
Had been looking for a bench since before the Corona-Virus outbreak, after the outbreak they all seemed to be really expensive with very long delivery dates. Ordered this bench which had a delivery date of May 12, which meant a wait of about a month. but it arrived within a week, so well pleased there. Assembled it myself, the only confusion on drawing instructions of where to put some of the bolts, but this became clear as I continued assembly. Its stable and sturdy, I weigh 18st and it has no problems at all. Far better value for money than I had expected, Very pleased with my purchase.
As with my original bench, this is made with high-quality materials and was easy to assemble. It’s tough – I’m almost 17 stone – and stable to use, with a number of positions you can use for incline / decline sets. The resistance bands, that attach to the back feet, are sturdy and add additional workout options. It also came with a useful A3-size workout poster, and I’ve put this up to encourage my kids to follow the suggested exercises and reps as they learn how to use the equipment.
That multiuse exercise workout bench is really good. Using this alongside the exercises on the chart has been very easy to do. The padding is so comfortable and you can go from one exercise to the next very effortlessly The fittings are well marked for easy identification of what parts goes where. Assembly took me approximately 30 minutes.
Fantastic equipment to my house gym. So easy to assembly and so many options to adjust this work bench. I can do a lot of different exercises using this work bench! I’m shocked with the quality of this bench for the price, it’s very sturdy and very stable, it’s a solid bench to work out on. Folds flat for easy storage, easily put together. It has rolling feet so you can easily manoeuvre it once it’s up. I couldn’t be more happy with this product.

Arrived promptly. Fairly straight forward to set up. Second person required for part of set up. Had it a few months and son uses it most days so seems durable
Item was well packaged and easy to assemble. The nuts and bolts are already labelled up so easy to locate when constructing. The pins used to hold the bench in the different positions are very stiff and take a great effort to adjust but this may get better over time. The bench does fold away quite nicely. For the price it seems like a good product and the different positions this bench can be used in make it ideal for a range of exercises.
Good fun assembling it with clear instructions and tools included. All good. As others have said, when new, adjusting the bench is tight on the bolts that you take out and put back in when fixing it in one of many posistions. Sure that will get easier with use. Have to be quite strong and determined to get the bolt out and back in again.
This appears to be a great piece of kit, however the pin that holds the foot rest piece in place doesn’t go through the holes as they’re not lined up correctly. We only found this out after putting it all together as the foot part was last bit. Unfortunately the only thing Amazon can do is a full refund if we return it. I’ve not bothered to contact seller as they’re in China so we’re trying to find a smaller pin to go through. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise.
Building it took about 30 mins but the pieces were well labeled, particularly the screws etc which came in a very easy to follow package – Ikea could learn from these guys. It says you need 2 people but i managed fine on my own. All the tools you need are included.
Once built the bench seems very sturdy. There are 2 pins you can pull out to adjust the incline of either side of the bench. They can be a bit stiff but I think that’s just because it’s new.
It comes with a pretty handy exercise guide, showing about 10 things you can do mostly with dumbbells or sit ups.
My only complaint If I had one, I’d that when doing sit ups, with the bench inclined, my rear end seems to slip between the 2 parts of the padding, making it a little uncomfortable.
I suspect this is a common issue with these benches and to be honest isn’t so bad that I wouldn’t use it, so overall I’d still give it 5 stars.

I’d give it 3.5 if I could. There are quite a few bolts that will need to be fitted. To change the seat and back positions you need to remove a pin and put it into another position. The padding is well made but overall the sturdiness is not so great. Would not recommend using this bench for heavy weights but its fine for using with bands or light weights.
Haven’t had the bench too long but so far so good. Very good value for money, does the job I want it too do. Took around an hour to put it all together and was fairly straight forward. I found the cables didnt have much tension in them, but I didn’t buy it for that anyway so i just dont use them. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a bench to workout at home and not pay through the roof.
For the price you can’t go wrong, only criticism is lining up tthe holes for the pins can be a pain when adjusting it from flat to incline. Possibly I need to tighten the nuts more. Used it this evening for the first time and takes my 220 lbs with no stress whatever. Folds up nicely to store away.

Very sturdy gym bench and can hold quite a lot of weight, was quite easy to assemble although does take quite a bit of effort.
Also, the pins to change the seat position are also a bit stiff to remove.

Received this item today and I had it assembled in 35 minutes. It feels very stable and the quality is excellent for the price. Also it is very easy to flatten, so you can slot it under a bed or in a cupboard when you aren’t using it.

My only criticism is the limited recline adjustments, I feel like one more adjustment option either way would have made the perfect bench, but happy with what I have 🙂
This bench is great. Can be adjusted to sit in different positions depending on the exercises you want to do. Resistance bands are great too. Took me a little while to out the thing together although I think that was more of a me issue than an issue with the assembly instructions… Bench is very sturdy and dosent feel like it’s going to collapse underneath you like other benches I have used in the past.
As a 54 year old man who needs to get fit I decided to invest in a bench. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money as I know I might not have the will power to keep using it! However I am pleased to say it has proved a great buy. the bench is easy to set up, looks good and is solidly built. The only problem I’ve had is with one set of holes for a pin which is a bit tight so I’m going to file it so it’s a bit wider, its only a small issue though. So yes if you are looking for a bench go for it.

Exactly what I was looking for. I had a minor issue assembling it, but easily rectified when I reread the instructions. It was probably my own fault – but past that I’ve had no issues at all and it’s perfect for home weight training.
Bought as a present for partner. Very sturdy item. Took a little more effort than expected to assemble but overall assembly was relatively straight forward. Great bench for hand weights. Would recommend.
I’ve been looking for some time for a workout bench that offered all three optimum positions: flat, incline, and decline, but all of the ones on offer were disconcertingly expensive. This product seems to tick all the right boxes, coming in at an affordable price. It is surprisingly sturdy, quite versatile, and very comfortable. The only downside is its instability during heavy incline presses and flyes. When mounting it I have found the whole apparatus tipping forward, so now I have to mount and lie back into it in one confident motion, as once you’re leaning back your own bodyweight keeps the bench stable. Still, this is a worthy purchase if you are on a restricted budget as am I, and it beats the rather awkward glute bridge presses I’ve been having to do in the absence of a decline bench.
This is, without doubt, the worse product I have purchased in Amazon. And the worse part came when I tried to return (the following day I received it) and was due to pay 30 as the return post it is not included. So better to read my review before you buy this bench.

Having done ‘Gym’ at home for about 15 years (with different benches) I can assure this is not a Stable bench. if you are going to do any exercise with weights (8kg or above ) I would recommend you to find other benches.
The specifications says it can hold up to 250kg but, please don’t even try. I weight 86 KG and tried with some dumbbells of 20kg and decided to stop before I get injured due to the lack of stability. all it feels very fluffy.
Changing seating position it is not straight forward and you would pass more time trying to change them than doing the exercise.
the back of the seat won’t go completely upright so any seated weights you want to do are on an incline.
Sturdy bench, well constructed, good padding, but limited adjustment – seat not fully horizontal meaning you tend to slide down when doing incline work. Doesn’t go vertical meaning can’t do shoulder exercises. Adjusting the pins to alter the bench can be futtery, but it does give a good range of exercises. Will keep.

Adjustment pins aren’t spring loaded which can make thinks a bit of a faff but not a deal breaker. Some of the angles in the pictures make the bench quite unstable at times but I think it will be ok if you’re not so tall. Otherwise for a bench that folds flat it’s great.
I bought this as a gift for my hubby. He said it was easy to assemble and is very happy with it so far.
It’s multi functional so I can use it without weights.

Easy as can be for this to assemble, just make sure to read instructions first and keep everything in the bag until you are using it. Great for the price, both my wife and I use it at home where it fits behind the sofa. I weigh 14 and a half stone and no problems with me doing whatever weighs I want. Simple workout sheet for beginners also.
It’s a great bench. Very stable, doesn’t move. Would like to have more options to position the chair it only has 2, straight and a little bit inclined downwards when doing abs. However you can’t move it facing upwards for inclined bench pressing for chest exercises, the only possible position is straight, would be ideal if another position of the seat is available so it would be inclined as well making the weight lifting more comfortable while the back is inclined at 45 degrees
This bench is really good quality especially for the price paid. Very sturdy but comfortable and offers a range of positions to exercise in. The poster and elastics are a great bonus! Highly recommend!

The thing I like most about this bench is that you can use the resistance bands to really finish off and build up a burn! It’s a fab piece of kit and works well for what I use it for. Another thing I like about it, is that you can fold it flat! All of my other equipment folds flat which means that I can store it away and my garage is still useable.

My only slight criticism is that the incline settings are quite limited, it’s either pretty flat or very steep and lacks the standard incremental adjustments you might be used to from the gym.
I got this for my husband for fathers day. It was very easy to put together. I loved how all the screws etc where all numbered. So you wouldn’t get confused on what screw and bolt went where. It came well secure and packed very well. Delivery was also on time. The reason I have knocked a star off is because the seat is on a slop when the front leg is at 55 and the back is at 55. If it’s because I have the legs at the wrong number then I would gladly put it up to 5 .
Strong bench with comfortable cushioning.
It took 15 minutes to set up, with clear instructions and nut and bolt kit.
When assembled, there is a fitness poster to try all the 30 different methods of using this bench.
With a built in sit up stand and bungee resistant straps this is a cost effective bench that is built to last.
This is a great piece of kit. Very sturdy, can be folded to store. I want to also say that the customer service is excellent as one of my parts arrived broken & they replaced the item without any problems. Recommend to those wanting to tone & condition their body.
Very stable and extremely adjustable. Has to be the dream home fitness bench. It takes two to assemble it and one of the holes wasn’t properly drilled through – fortunately I’ve got a good set of drills for metal and the largest of those made short work of Expanding the hole. It wasn’t worth dropping a star for that. Do read the instructions carefully to familiarise yourself with adjusting the bench to recommended positions: it is well spelled out but not intuitive.
Been after a bench press for a while and went for a “best seller” on Amazon to get a decent one. There’s a reason why that’s the case, great quality and looks great! Would highly recommend
Really like this bench, it has a variety of angles to be tilted so I am not limited in the exercises I choose to do. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is one of the holes needs a bit of filing as the peg can be quite difficult push through, other than that all good!
Considering you can easily spend 4 times the price on a bench, you cant expect this to be the sturdiest or most professional quality bench. Having said that I find it more than meets my needs, some people have mentioned its hard to adjust, I find it a doddle; it folds down pretty flat and it just about slides under my bed so its good on space.
I find the straps that fit on were getting in the way, so I just took those off. Its lightweight, decent quality, well recommended. Its comfy and well padded, seems like its built to last too.
The only downside is the knobs to adjust the angle of the bench, gets a bit annoying having to pull the pins out they’re not the easiest. Otherwise its a perfectly good buy I’m very happy with mine.
It’s sturdy, holds a lot of weight, easy to put away and it isn’t cheaply made so it’s nice and safe. Assembly took a while, but nothing to strenuous.
Looks great and goes with the color of my dumbbells. Being a little picky the only fault I found was a naff paint job where the “X” in “JX FITNESS” has a bit of white going over the lines but is barely noticeable if you stand back. Also the black material below the bench is cut poorly around the edges but its not going to be seen so its not really a problem.
Assembly:
Very easy to put together due to the straight forwards instructions provided. It took me just shy of 20 minutes to put together on my own. Spanners are the only tools needed and there are two provided.
Adjusting:
Other reviews mention that the lock pins are stiff to take out however if you raise the bench where the weight is pushing down onto the pin with one hand and take the pin out with your other hand the pins come out really easy. Putting them in however can be a little fiddly especially when trying to align the holes.
The holes the lock pins go in also have a handy label showing where to put the pin if you would like a specific degrees set.
Comfort:
It is comfortable to sit/lie-down on and does not leave an outline of your butt when you get off of it. The leg rest is is comfortable too.
Noise:
When lying back or applying weight around the edge of the product I can hear a slight creaking sound, which can be annoying but if you .
Storage:
Storing this is a key feature for me as I do not have a lot of space in my room. When made flat it can easily be slid under my bed, lean against a wall or stand on its own (if legs rest is out). Dumbbells have to be taken off the storage rack.
Dumbbell Storage Rack:
Although it’s a nice touch, I was unable to use all four slots provided as the highest weights I could fit next to each other on the rack was 3.5kg due to there not being enough space between dumbbells. I could however just use two slots and place my 10kg weights on there fine when leaving a gap between them.
Wheels:
There are two wheels that are on the legs by the head rest which allows for the bench to be moved around easily, but i find it quicker just to pick the bench up as its not all that heavy. The wheels do not move while you are working out.
Other info:
A poster is provided which shows some workout you can do while on the bench as well as some information on how to do them properly. The assembly booklet also contains information about what each muscle in your body is, where it is, some warm up stretches and more info.
Fault:
One of the holes my lock pin goes through (specifically the right seat support) has a bit of metal in the middle raised which prevents me putting the pin in if i want the seat flat.
Bought this for home use and wow I’m impressed. After unpacking the box I found all the part were really well protected and even the nuts and bolts very well packed, impressive. After laying them out on the floor it took me 35 minutes to fully erect the bench! Brilliant, would recommend for the assembly alone. Its had limited use so far but its adjustable for all I need and looking forward to using it.

Although the instructions say it needs two people to assemble, I had no problems by myself. It’s a really good product for the price – very happy with it. Sturdy construction, and although it takes a bit of getting used to, easily adjustable for different exercises.

The product is well packaged and a bit heavy when received. The bench looks really great. The weight bench foam is nice and medium firm — not too soft nor to hard. The fittings are well marked for easy identification of what parts goes where. Assembly took me approximately 35-40 minutes. You won’t need any additional tools to get this assembled as the only bits required are the spanners which are provided already. It is easy to adjust and set according to the exercise you are doing, getting the position for the abs was a bit tricky as I have never used this kind of equipment before for abs. Once I got hang of it it was very simple. The 2 elastic bands that are provided can be used for biceps, triceps and probably some more. NOTE: These kind of bands can sometimes snap but can be replaced very easily, any compatible exercise bands would do.
Overall the exercise weight bench is easy to stowaway under the bed, simply flatten it and just push it or you can keep inside the airing cupboard if you have space or simply leave it as is if you are one of the lucky ones to have a gym space in your home. This weight bench can be used for home and office use only not for the commercial use to be honest.
