My last kenwood mixer made 1000,’s of cakes! Hope this does too. So far so good. A bit noisy but i like the splash guard and size of bowl.
I brought this to replace my old mixer, it’s my favourite kitchen gadget, helps me mix up my cakes and has a plastic gaurd to stop ingredients going out the bowl, just what I wanted. Would buy agai
Bought has a replacement after owning a kenwood for 45 years, fantastic machines
Very nice product. Easy to use me clean. The motor is powerful but it vibrates when using at full capacity and may fall off if placed on small places while using
Have had one before and the improvements in the finish are good only had to replace old one as an old flat mate managed to spill soup through it!
I am happy this Kenwood product easy to use and clean .
Although smaller than my faithful larger Kenwood, it performed perfectly with the quantities for which it is designed.
Faultless, great value and perfect for use on small bakes
Nice little introductory mixer, easy to use and a well known make too
Great little machine when compared to what you could pay for a Kenwood Chef. I make bread I it just fine. Have made Christmas cakes too. It. Moves a bit but that isn’t a problem as the feet suction is just fine. My only issues would be that you can’t make large loaves in it but i manage an ample loaf to feed our family of 5 and the dough hook doesn’t reach quite far enough into the bowl. Yes you get what you pay for and in this case I think its all good.
Great for time saving. Light weight and easy to use.
Not as good a mixer for smaller batches. Very good for bread making .
I’m pleased with this mixer it’s a great compact space saver , it’s made great sourdough bread and cakes , attachments are easy to clean , great price , recommended for beginners easy to use .
It has done well making cakes and bread. The fitting of the whisk/dough hook is a bit strange
Does the job as described. The obly disaxvantage of it- it’s quite noisy
Small unit with a big capacity. Ideal for smaller kitche
This product works well for the price, I was worried as people always tell me cheap mixers are not powerful enough but I find this very adequate for bread dough. However I would wish it to be a little more heavy so it’s steadier at the hinges.
just what i needed. Works a treat especially when i make bread
Average mixture for say Victoria sponges were lost in the large mixing bowl
I was disappointed that if it was not for the strong suction feet, when making dough with 500grm flour, I think it would have travelled the work surface. I now use my hand mixers to make dough.
love this mixer makes cakes and buttercream filling a breeze. Easy to clean.
wanted a KENWOOD as been doing alot of baking in lockdown, havent baked for years my husband is loving it, this does all I need and got at good price, I do feel I need to put my hand on top of it when on full power as vibrates a bit but totally secure as has suction cups to hold in place, but yes I would recommend
Not too bad for a starter
Noise a bit loud
Did not realized it was refurbished
I have never used an electric mixer before & was a bit nervous. I’ve used it for the 1st time today & I am really pleased with it. I used the beater & the whisk both did a great job. Based on today I would definitely recommend this mixer. I am very happy with i
Bought to made a gift, this little machine work really well, you do not aspect this level of good.
The head is moving a lot when make a pizza dough but nothing go wrong if you do not over load it.
I love that its easy to use, compact and robust. The ‘Ken Pro’ does its job at the will of everyone in my family; kids, husband and even I haven’t broken it yet! It’s easy to clean and willing to work manner make it a perfect kitchen entity and takes the work out of making eclairs. Hubby loves the extra attachments we bought to make his concoctions and I have confidence in its smart safety features that my youngest (10yr) can use it; like a pro. So pleased we bought our little Ken.
Bought for my daughter who is thrilled with it. I have the same machine and I love it. Yakes all the hard work out od baking.
Bought one of these a few years ago and was somewhat cheaper 110. And was looking for a replacement as it can’t really take a lot of weight. Recent prices on amazon have ranged from 159-179. Decided to go for kmix @249. Is a much sturdier machine and take a lot more weight without struggling. But if your after a machine for light home baking this would be grand it does come capable for expansion. Can’t fault the quality of the machine itself for the cost. But for a few quid more you can buy better.
Thus robot stand mixer is good.
I choose this one for few reasons : first this was a small compact mixer so it cans fit in my small kitchen. Secondly, my dad who’s a French chef always advised me to go for Kenwood as it is a good value for money.
When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed with the silver colour : I thought it was in metal but it is in plastic. And it can be a bit noisy but what else can you expect from a robot mixer seriously? Have you already been in a kitchen???
Anyway, it does the job quite well : I tried on my french brioche receipt, some bred, and macarons and I must say I’m not disappointed so far!
Let see how long it last according to few reviews, however, I think it’s really important to follow the instructions in terms of maximum volume allowed and maximum speed, otherwise, you might damage it!
In conclusion, I woul really recommend it for a couple or a small family I would say maximum 4 persons, otherwise you might overcharge it.
