This is likely on me for not reading all the specs properly, but they were smaller than I thought. They can only be used for tshirts with small necks. As a larger person this means a lot of my clothes just slide right off. They can’t hold much weight but again, as advertised!
No issues with my t-shirts and training gear, but its not very strong. I wouldnt put any heavy jackets or anything heavier than a large oversized t-shirt.
Nothing mor to say, does the job
Marvel as this miraculous triumph of form and design not only suspends itself from almost all horizontal bars and poles using the delicately curved hook-a-matron but the triangular formation below has been expertly crafted to elegantly display your finest fruit of the loom garments. Not only can it do all of these things with ease, it has also been designed with the innate ability to carry a pair of women’s slacks!
What can’t this wonder of the modern age do?!
The price is a little much for what they are and how many your are getting. Unfortunately I needed coat hangers sooner than later but if I had time then I’d have chosen one of the packs I found on eBay or visited a physical shop.
The price aside these hangers hold everything I need them too, I wouldn’t put heavy coats on them but they hold my jumpers, cardigans, tshirts etc without showing any signs of bending. If the price doesn’t bother you then I could recommend these ones if all you are after is plastic hangers.
Clothes are hanging up but I wouldn’t try and put anything heavier than a t shirt on them as they are not the strongest of hangers but for the price and amount you can get i’m a very satisfied customer.
These hangers are cheap, they kind of bend and probably can’t take something heavy (like 2 thick jeans). However I use them one item on each and they do the job, haven’t had one broken or anything in 6 months. You get what you pay for and it does the job.
I find I can never have enough coat hangers. I needed some more and these were a bargain price so I ordered some.
My first impression was that that they’re a little on the small side, very flexible and perhaps a bit flimsy.
Does that mean they’re no good? No it doesn’t, it just means you need to be mindful of what you hang on them.
For example my hubby has a vast collection of t-shirts for which these hangers are fantastic. Same as they are for my great for my daughters clothes and my own t-shirts and lightweight tops. The only exception being those with wide necklines which are likely to fall off, since as i mentioned these hangers are a little on the small side. They also don’t have any grip to hold the clothes in place. I can also use them to hang my summer strappy tops too as they have the little hooks underneath for this purpose.
The downside to them is that you can’t hang anything heavy on them, think fleeces, hoodies, winter jumpers and coats etc. Well you could but the hanger is likely to bend under the weight of the item which overtime will probably weaken the plastic and shorten the lifespan of the hanger. I’ve attached a photo of a hanger with my daughters snuggy hanging on it and you can see the bottom is bent out of shape.
With that in mind, would I buy these again?
Yes I would, if I was wanting to hang lightweight items. If I was looking to hang heavier items of clothing then I’d look for something stronger.
It is good for shirts and not very heavy clothes if they are not usually folded, for example with heavy jackets, since they are made of plastic that is not very resistant.
But for the price I see them well and to hang shirts, t-shirts, pants it goes well.
Well made and not bulky so ideal for hanging shirts o
I do love these hangers but just like a cheap plastic of you see what I mean but none have broken on me yet.
Perfect for my teenagers clothing, not suitable for anything to heavy
Good hangers, nice black colour, holds clothes on wardrobe rail. Not much else to say – they do the job well!
All good but would not describe hangers as strong, but time will tell. Service and delivery great ,thank you
Basic but nice large coathangers. Strong enough for suits, coats and lighter weight clothes.
Great hangers. Just what I needed. Useful for adult or children’s clothes.
Really happy with the quality of the coat hangers. They are perfect for lighter weight clothing and for the price very happy.
As expected. Good value for money. Prompt delivery. This is a repeat order for me
Really good quality, brilliant value pack but would like white ones
I wanted some coat hangers that were cheap but also sturdy.
I’ve bought two lots of these now and their perfect.
I know its only coat hangers but feel they are worth a review to help other customers make an informed purchase
Great hanger sturdy enough but not quite for very heavy coats but fine for puffer jackets
Nice addition of the curls on the sides for hooking tabs and strappy dresses
2nd purchase (I’m a shopping nut) and will buy again
In short if you are looking for a well priced set of hangers for jeans, tops, dresses you won’t be dissatisfied
Perhaps not as sturdy as expected but they do the job!
My husband drives mobile library/advice van for homeless and was donated a lot of coats but boxes filled walk space in van and had no way display so turned to Amazon.I ordered Wednesday evening and delivered 9am Thursday morning .Hangers are lightweight but strong and husband was able display coats and clear walkway.Hangers were refilled several times and lots of coats where gifted and hangers are still good as new so be reused in future.Very happy with prompt delivery and quality.
Great for lighter clothes. Anything heavy would need a sturdier hanger, but they do the job
Not bad, they do the job. Not one to spend money on coat hangers though so I was looking for the cheapest / most value.
They’re useful hangers but not full size. Not kids size but your average shirt will hang off the ends.
Works for me. A good price for the amount. Thanks
Bog standard hangers, a bit rough around the edges, but nice and cheap if you don’t want to spend to much
They do say they are for adults but I would say these are on the smaller side.
I mean, you’ll want to exercise some common sense. These hangers are slim, classy-looking and pretty strong. I wouldn’t challenge them with something heavy; a leather jacket would probably bend the plastic in pretty short order, but for shirts, trousers, light jackets, cardigans and sweaters, these are just the thing.
Pretty terrific value for money as well.
Recommended.
Typical flexible hangers.
Quite bendy so not ideal for heavy items but also means they don’t snap easily.
Perfect for t-shirts etc.
Does the job kids are getting bigger and child hangers now too small. Solved the problem of clothes falling off hangers onto the floor.
Get bent out of shape easily if you put anything heavy on them, but have been very useful in the dryer tent we have when it’s cold out.
This item is very thin plastic okay for trousers and shirts but not sturdy enough for jackets or heavy jumpers. Item came on time and in good condition.
Great for the price. OK they’re not the strongest hangers… but they are the cheapest! Probably wouldn’t take items which are too heavy, but fine for shirts, Ts, and trakky pants without breaking the bank. Have ordered more.
I bought these and re ordered as excellent value for money and light. Great for extra clothes in my loft. The hanger did have extra bits to prevent dress from falling to floor. However overall they were just a bit too small for adult clothes of size 14. Maybe ok for size 8 and 10. They would be great for kids clothes. Good product for the price. If bigger size then not so good. I did manage but the dresses did keep falling off due to size.
These hangers are ok. I bought them for my daughter’s dorm at uni, so we were looking for something cheap, light, and somewhat durable. They seem like they will do, my only complaint is that they were quite dirty upon delivery. I had to wipe each one up to three times before dirt stopped coming out. Maybe it was the storage? They were quite dusty. Otherwise, it’s an ok purchase.
Not very strong, if you tend to yank your clothes down you will snap them in half. In fact my toddler likes to snap them in half in his hands and he’s two. These are the same ones you can buy at Poundland , although Poundland was closed from Coronavirus when I needed more hangers so I bought them here. I didn’t think the price was too much more and it came with a pretty good amount of hangers. The packaging did look very strange with a lot of plastic and tape but it worked well enough since they came intact.
I think these are perfect for hanging light clothes, such as tops and dresses. They also have little handy hooks at the bottom. They aren’t chunky and don’t take up space like thick hangers would. I wouldn’t use them for heavy coats though, that may cause bending over time.
They are coat hangers. Not gonna get too excited. They do what they are supposed to and are flexy not brittle so have less chance of breaking. Other than that I fail to get too excited over them but im sure for the price they are a decent buy.
Okay, these are not your average clothes hanger. They are smaller than average, lighter than average and less sturdy than average, but they are exactly what I needed! I have recently acquired an Art Deco vintage wardrobe which has a very narrow hanging space – too narrow for those average hangers, but these little beauties fit right in without me having to angle them all to the side to be able to shut the doors! No, they won’t stand the weight of a heavy jacket, and yes, your wide necked items will slide off them – I fixed this last by applying a small length of hot glue on the top of each hanger arm – works a treat! So, if you are short of space and are happy to hang your coats somewhere other than in your wardrobe, then these are just the ticket. I have just ordered another batch 🙂
Here is a summary of what the bad reviews concern:
. They are too small: Yes they are about 2 inches shorter than the other plastic hangers in my closet, but they are long enough to hang large men’s t-shirts. While I can generally move clothes around fine, items can fall off when flinging these hangers whilst searching for something to wear.
. They smell: Honestly, I have never smelled a coat hanger before, but I gave it a try. 🙂 I can gladly report that my batch have no odour whatsoever.
. They break easily: I have not managed to break any. I grabbed one and flexed it back and forth making a full U shape out of it. It did not break. If anything, they are actually a little more difficult to break than normal plastic hangers because the material is malleable rather than rigid.
. They do not work for heavy items: I think this is a fair comment, since they have flex in them, a heavy coat would just fall right through.
. Only good for kids: Seem to work fine for large men’s t-shirts. I kind of like the fact that they are a bit smaller because normal full length hangers sometimes overstretch t-shirts.
But in summary I think they are fine for t-shirts and light sweaters. For heavier items, I would get something more rigid.
