Checked all pieces there first, followed all pictures got it together .
After receiving my garden storage box, my wife and I carefully checked all items and everything was there clearly marked with a code, so now all we had to do was wait for it to stop raining . The next day we set about putting it together (taking about 4hrs) when together with out any problems until placing the roof/lid on . When opened the lid should stay upon it’s own till you close it but this one had other ideas !?! I opened it, it closed, I opened it, it closed. Thinking I had missed something, I rechecked the instructions but no it was how it said in there, so had to bit the bullet and get in touch with after sales by email dreading the out come but to my surprise!!! They were the most helpful after sales I have EVER had to deal with . All delt with in 2 emails and two days later arriving by post 2x replacement gas struts. FIVE STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH for all the help they gave. Tony Crouch.
The only problem was a slight damage to the lid
Product is of a reasonable quality, no fitting instructions included which made assembly take longer.
Make sure that you have a perfectly flat surface to assemble it on or else you will have problems.
I would have given higher assembly stars had there been instructions included.
Advice to manufacture “Make sure everything is the box”
Better than I could ever have expected
. Looks good and is sturdy and strong plus the 2 me who assembled it were fast and efficient. Let down, no instructions to fit shelves etc although I was left a handful of screws and fittings.
Just perfect for what I needed – storing folding garden furniture. Looks good, sturdy and practical. Lots of pieces but easily put together by one person if you take your time and follow the step-by-step instructions.
The only issue I had was that it came with the wrong assembly manual. That said, easy to locate a copy on the internet.
I love it, I’m using it for a wheelie bin store
I bought this shed as a storage unit meaning, I don’t plan on opening it and getting at the items in it all that often so mine is a bit of a mess inside! I wanted to free up my garage for toys (cars) so needed a place to put a lot of garden tools. We have a gardener so have little need for garden tools. I did also buy a Keter 759 7×9.5 feet shed. Both sheds are well made. Hinges are power coated steel. This shed has a steel frame also powered coated to which the doors mount with a cast solid what appears aluminium handle. It feels and looks like a premium product.
That said, I was about half way through the build and I noticed the top portion (right hand side) was damaged. It had a crack in it as per the attached picture. I suspect it would have leaked if I went ahead and fitted it. So because of this, I had to stop the build half way through and contact Keter for support. They asked for proof of receipt and soon shipped me a new undamaged part, pretty quickly. This took about 3 days to arrive via courier (luckily not the striking post office!). So I think this was handled well by Keter no complaints here, sometimes parts have faults, no problem so long as the manufacturer supports their customers with new parts without quibble as they did do in my case.
Anyway so far I am pleased with this small shed. I will see how it handles rain in future. It is not difficult to put together if you are used to building things, I did notice some reviews mentioned it’s hard to assemble, not for me it wasn’t. The instructions are very clear almost like Ikea style. Just be sure you have a power driver it will make your life 100% easier to assemble.
Looks fine & is waterproof so far. Good amount of storage room for chairs & cushions from our balcony. Bit expensive but much better quality than a lot of its competitors.
Glad I paid the extra to have it assemnbled for me although I am a well qualified engineer.
Looks good, looks very sturdy and all needed now are four floor bolts and a shelf which are done by the customer. A young lady of my acquaintance will ensure this is done very soon, it seems there are many things to find a new home there.
Thanks to the very efficient guys who did the assembly, would have taken me many more hours..
he headline says it all. Very happy. The ground needs to be absolutely flat – and mine isn’t – but the doors and lid close easily since its not absolutely rigid but has the ability to flex a little. A very good investme
A good quality storage box that I was able to add a lock to. This was also available on 5 payments at the time so a win win.
It arrives carried by two blokes – so make sure it’s placed where you intend to open the packaging, because it’s very difficult to move single handedly…
It says in the instructions that it’s two person assembly, but I managed it on my own with a bit of forethought and a wedge to support the doors when fitting them.
Read the instructions carefully and study the detailed pictures and you won’t go wrong. Make sure you seat the door panels correctly or they won’t sit evenly when closed.
The extra bits are for lifting wheelie bin lids or supporting a shelf (you have to buy it locally to the give dimensions) – depending on what you want to use it for
I’d buy another if I could think of summat to put in it!
Purchased the box in June 2019, with the expectation the hinges would last longer than 3 years. I’ve tried to call and email Keter but to no avail to try and have the hinges replaced. No responses, their phone lines are permanently closed, so have no option to look elsewhere for replacement parts. Available on ebay for 38 each and I need 2. May as well go and buy a better quality box than waste another 76 on this cheap rubbish. Will never buy Keter products again.
This outdoor storage unit is excellent.
Expensive? Yes!
Worth it? Yes!
They do suggest 2 people building it. I managed myself with a little help putting the roof on so it didn’t fall when I was screwing it in place.
So far no leaks inside. That is probably due to the design of it. All the water is forced into the tounge and groove bit on the base that has the water relief holes.
Just make sure you’re on a level surface when you’re assembling it together it’ll make it alot easier too do and when you screw the base to the walls you won’t rip any of the plastic with the screws because you put them in at a funny angle.
Wow I bought this to store my garden furniture cushions and i am so impressed! Yes it took about 90 minutes to put together but that’s only because we were taking our time following the instructions. Found a video on the Internet and watched that first and that really helped us. Really impressed and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying
It’s a good storage box. Easy enough to assemble by myself. I think it could have come with a shelf and not just brackets
When completed the storage looks great. Instructions are extensive but read them and put the parts into sets. Pay particular attention to the parts that are right or left hand. It is important to look at the diagrams and assemble the correct TH of MY together. Otherwise it goes together well. Another pair of hands would be useful for final assembly. Very pleased with the purchase.
Using for storage at my caravan goes together well as long as you follow lnstructions carefully but does take a bit of time
I found the instructions of putting this together very easy to follow, the build quality is good, and the storage excelle
he only thing I can say is that, it is a good job I could view on youtube how to construct the storage box as the wrong instructions came with it, it just made it a bit more of a challenge, but I must say I am very pleased with the end result, it is very robust and looks great, I would certainly recommend it.
I purchased 2 Keter Store It Out Premier XL Outdoor Garden Storage Sheds, having previously bought a similar storage shed and a full size shed (Keter Artisan 7ft x 7ft 2″) when living in Canada. As those coped admirably with Ontario weather ( -15 degree Winters and feet of snow as well as 90 degree Summers) Keter were my first choice when looking for outdoor storage in the UK. Prices in the UK are usually a bit higher than in N. America, but these were purchased on Amazon special offer, so were reasonable.
The storage comes flat-pack and you build it yourself. I found the instructions to be well laid out and easy to follow – all the parts were there and bar some chipping to one fascia piece ( not visible when installed), in good condition. The only issue I have with the units is they can be bit frustrating to build because the various pieces, notably the corner panels, don’t always fit together easily, and this can make it hard to get parts to lock together. A particular issue with this model is the moulding that sits on top of the side panels to which the lid is attached – with both units the moulding cracked/split at the front corner when seating it over the side panel because the side panels could not be compressed sufficiently to fit the moulding easily over the top. While the units could still be built and appear to operate OK, this cracking does detract a bit from the overall satisfaction with the unit. In general though, with patience and careful manipulation (the unit is plastic, after all) things tend to eventually come together.
Construction took a couple of hours. As others have noted, given that the unit is plastic you need to be careful when installing screws – either use hand tools or power tools with adjustable torque to prevent overtightening. The only tools I needed were electric screwdriver (with adjustable torque), 1 small hand screwdriver for a couple of small screws, and a rubber mallet for occasional minor percussive adjustments of panels. There are a number of points e.g. installing doors and lid, where it is a good idea to have two people involved, but one person can manage with care.
In short: Instructions – simple; Tools required – minimal; Construction – best not to rush; Swearing – mild/medium; End result – largely happy.

A good, substantial product, we are very happy with it. Quite a job for one person to assemble but got there in the end. Unfortunately the wrong assembly instructions came with it which made things more difficult. When trying to contact supplier about the instructions we were unable to get through on the phone so had to muddle through.

As long as you have made any mistake with the screws, it will be waterproof 🙂 the size is nice and not too tall as well
This outdoor mini-storage box is very good quality and it looks great in the garden after assembly.
Unfortunately – as others – I had one issue with a metal part that had screw holes drilled in the wrong places ((!!)) A replacement part was kindly shipped quickly and that was slightly better but NOT perfect (the holes in the metal part didn’t match the threads moulded in the plastic base. Unbelievably.)
IF Keter can sort that out, this is a great product that looks good and repels water. Plus it has nice vents in the sides. Doors close nicely. Instructions VERY good.
Faulty metal part is code ESMF

This unit is everything Keter say it is, brilliant to look at, good colour, easy to assembly, (my daughter did it on her own in the dark) Nice size. There was one broken piece but Keter customer service were great and replaced the item with no quibble at all, I received it within 3 days. Good service from them, well pleased.
Delivered in good time packaged well. There was a little movement in the box perhaps that could be improved for safety/security purpose. only negative thing as far as I was concerned.
Good purchase would buy again should I need one, and recommend to anyone thinking about buying one.
Only just assembled it a couple of hours ago. It does take some brute force to assemble the corner panels as they need to be bent and forced into the channels. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow.I wasn’t scratching my head like some. My only disappointment at the moment is that the base isn’t very strong. I knelt on it to put some screws in and it cracked and part of it broke away. It can be used for storing wheelie bins but I wouldn’t like to try it given the weight they can be when full. I’d imagine they’ll break the base in no time. Took me a good couple of hours to assemble. Be aware that you don’t get a shelf with it. Thought it did going by the pictures. You’ll need to buy a separate shelf for that. But it does come with some small brackets to put a shelf on and plenty of screws left over. I got it on a deal. Really don’t think it’s worth the 200+ that it originally cost. All in all I would recommend. The panels are strong and it looks good.Time will tell how it endures.

Bought this to replace another garden storage box that had finally given up the ghost. The previous box I managed quite successfully to put together myself, this one I would say don’t even try to do it yourself – it definitely takes 2 people to do it – even if one of them is just there to keep you from losing your rag and taking a hammer to it!!!! The instructions are clear but there are so many of them and some of the small pictures could do with the occasional word of explanation. So far it has taken my daughter and I nearly 3 days to put this box together. Could be a bit more sturdy but is only going to be used for storing garden furniture in, nothing of any great value. I don’t think it will be any more secure than the last Keter box I had, which an intruder managed to kick the lid upwards thus breaking the hasp, leaving the lid to lift up and the padlock intact keeping the doors closed. Does the job of keeping garden furniture protected but don’t keep anything valuable in it as it won’t be particularly secure. Other than that, does the job.

It was a bit awkward to put together as the corner panels were too wide and had to be sawn down to fit. Once cut to fit it went together ok.
I have purchased two of these ,all contents have stayed dry through a Scottish winte
Once I got to grips with the instructions it was easy to erect although two people would make it easier.
Took two of us three hours to assemble- instructions could have been clearer (like when you have to drill holes) but had some fun.
Top and doors could be sturdier but it gives me a large weatherproof store which with no maintenance should last a long time.
Apart from the fact that Amazon had some shipping issues which delayed delivery by a month! The shed, when eventually delivered, was as expected and was well packaged. Overall the quality of the shed is good and Keter had included plenty of spare screws in the assembly kit. My only gripe is that some of the metal parts did not align well with the fixing points on the plastic parts. This was particularly so with the roof panels & doors. Both took some rather severe “persuading” to make them fit. This was slightly nerve wracking, as I was very worried about the plastic breaking. However, I eventually managed. One of the doors had also been slightly split at the top. Clearly this was at manufacture or packing time, as the outer box and internal packaging was completely perfect. Perhaps a bit more quality control required in factory. However, it was not worth rejecting the shed and I was able to repair it well using super-glue. Now that the shed is assembled, which took 2 days (although this was mostly on my own) it is a very stable and robust shed. I strongly advise not cutting any corners and that you should put all the screws in the assembly as per the instructions. There are a lot of screws, but they are integral to the eventual solidity & stability of the shed. As mentioned, I was actually able to construct most of the shed on my own. However, you definitely need at least 2 people to safely put the roof panels in place. Doing this on your own could easily result in not only damaging yourself, but also the apexes of the shed, which until “locked in” with the roof panels are not particularly strong.
A decent set of pictorial instructions and each piece of the flat pack easy to identify.
Assembly is a time consuming activity and requires a little patience.
All parts and fixings present without omissions and everything aligns where it should..
Some parts could be finished better.
The secret to success is a level base otherwise the carcass flexes and the doors don’t align properly (see my photo).
I like the style and finish of this storage shed and being plastic, it will not rot. But it is expensive and for bin storage a little bit extravagant.
I do like the hooks and chains that lift the dirty bin lids for me.
Two full sized bins will fit in the unit.
If you want this for a shed it has small brackets included but no shelf.

There is not much to say, it does exactly what is says and works well.
Looks smart, easy to set up.
Needed somewhere suitable that would survive our harsh British winters and have sufficient space to store my lawnmower, BBQ, a sack of bird feed, and assorted gardening items. The Keter Store It Out XL did the job perfectly and has continued to keep everything dry throughout the heaviest of driving rainstorms, snow, and of course ice. Assembly is quite straightforward provided that you clearly identify each panel before you commence with assembly. I was going too quickly at one point and ended up fixing one of the 2 rear panels into the wrong position and had to carefully remove it again to correct my error – luckily the ‘extra’ assembly screw holes did not show on the outside, so read, check and then act! You may like to invite a second person to lend you a hand at some points to make things easier but from personal experience, I confirm that it is possible to assemble this storage shed on your own. I recommend this product having now had it for a good period of time.

Exactly the size and colour I needed. Arrived early. Brilliant quality. Does recommend more than one putting together, however I did it alone. Tempted to buy a second one.
Great! Bigger than expected, can fit quite a lot in the unit. Glad we purchased. Used to keep furniture cushions dry.
Assembly of doors was not as described in instructions. Watch a YouTube demo beforehand. So far it has been 100% weatherproof and looks great. Shame shelving not included as you get the brackets? Overall would recommend.
Straightforward to assemble, but is a two person job, due to the size. Holds two 240 litre bins and looks very smart. Robust, waterproof and easy to clean.
Very sturdy but nit very easy to assemble took 4 hours by my husband with a lot of shouting
