The kids, who are 10 & 12 didn’t get bored of playing this over the holidays – it’s a funny game
We have played this game for the first time with our 10yo and 5yo and we had a really fun time. The humour is perfect for those ages and we all had a good laugh with some of the answers.
We played this last night (4 adults and 2 kids aged 11 and 6) and what a laugh we had!! My eleven year old is clearly not the innocent I thought he was and a lot of the humour went over the head of my 6 year old. If you’re a fairly open minded parent who is not easily offended and up for a bit of fun then you and your family will love this.
This is an ideal family game. No it’s not very mature but if you expected anything else then all I can say is what did you expect from a game called “Kids against maturity”?
There are a few cultural references that are a little US specific but to be honest nothing that anyone with a passing knowledge of television wouldn’t get. Probably the most obscure reference I saw that was US specific was “Sticky Joe” who is a character from the Teen Titans. The most obscure reference I found was to Lake Titicaca but that is jut a matter of global general knowledge rather than culture specific knowledge.
Yes there are some sexual references but they are all in the form of innuendo which like the humour in a pantomime can be read at face value for children while the adults appreciate the innuendo. The worst I found there was “Mr Merkin’s wig”. If that card appears while playing then an eight year old child can regard it just as a silly comment about someone’s wig and if you think the innuendo is offensive then you are not obliged to explain what a merkin is.
All of which should be obvious from the description because it quite explicitly says on the amazon page; “not for overprotective parents”, “contains innuendos” and “please remove any card you don’t approve of”. So again if you buy this and then think it’s innappropriate then … well you were warned, multiple times. All of that said though the language is nothing more than any child will hear in the playground and the innuendo is nothing more than you would hear in a christmas pantomime or some of the better childrens TV shows.
I would so far as to say that this is an ideal game for kids who are just entering secondary school age. Why? because you can use it as a way to encouter the innuendos in a safe and humorous environment where you can explain what they mean. You would do your children a great benefit from doing so because if they are the child in the class who has no idea what a particular sexual innuendo means you can guarantee their peers will make mockl them for it. Just keep the sessions with explanations for your 13 year old separate from the sessions with an 8 year old who you might not want to explain that to just yet.
We played this a few times. The first time we played through it with just two of us to see if there was anything too offensive and the game, while containing a lot of toilet humour, was OK but nothing special. Later sessions we played through with more people and then it does come alive because like all good games the essence lies not in the game itself but the interactions it prompts between the players. That is where this game really wins, because answers can work for different age groups in different ways it’s a great way to get generations to interact.

Really great game to play as a family – very funny in a silly way, we certainly had a few laughs!
Gave 3 boys as a joint Christmas gift. The family played it right away. Everyone loved the game. It was a brilliant gift!
I thought it looked quite good fun game, and not in folding technology !
We have the adult version so bought this so 9 yr old could join in. Still great fun despite the censorship for younger players.
Some terms are very American, and there are a few questionable references for kids, but they can easily be glossed over.
With our childish fart/poo humour the entire family has been laughing out loud.
It’s a funny game for old and young, as long as you have a sense of humour. It’s well packaged without wastage. All games are expensive these days but considering it’s just a sturdy box and cards, it feels it could be over priced if at full price. However it’s enjoyed by everyone as long as you don’t mind reading words like poo and fart.
My kiddos love this game. It’s very silly. Lots of bathroom humour. Funny enough for adults too.
We played a round with 4 adults and 2 kids aged 9 and 10. Instant classic.
Only downside though is some sentences are poorly constructed grammatically wise, and it affects the outcome when trying to match some cards
The questions are quite basic. But they are aimed at 10-year-olds.
Brilliant family game, works for teenagers and adults as well as younger kids too… some card answers are a bit close to the bone so to speak, but it’s only the teenagers that will get them and be in hysterics.
Really funny game. Kids must be able to read. Probably need to be 10 years or older.
My grandson loved this game, we played Christmas day, was hilarious
Just all around fun for the whole family. Would recommend it to anyone with kids over ten.
Super fun and easy to play. Great packaging.
Everyone is happy! Kids are reading for fun!!!
Its a funny game to play, youngest is 7 and oldest is 11 and it had us all laughing away
So, having read some reviews and actually having a few games of this with my 7, 9 and 12 year old I have to say it’s pretty funny. YES, there are some cards which might seem inappropriate but isn’t that the point of the game!? I think some people are blissfully unaware that most kids over a certain age know alot more than their parents think. Listen, your kid doesn’t have to know the actual meaning of a card to still find them funny and you can laugh along knowing what it really means. For example; turd burglar, dogs red lipstick, neverland ranch, olafs snowballs. You get the idea. Lighten up and let your kids laugh at some slightly inappropriate cards!
It’s fun, but unless the kids are very young, it’s less engaging than the adult version. Playing it with 10-17 year olds had more hands than not thrown to get rid of cards
Purchased as a Christmas present for my grandson so hopefully he will enjoy it
Arrived very quickly and looks sturdy
This product is great for a family game night especially with kids a bit older! We had a blast!
Haven’t played it yet but I have checked out some of the cards. It certainly looks good so far. A family friendly version of crimes against humanity. Lovely presentation box too. Impressed to fa
The box itself looks like it may have been opened and taped up as it looks like a tape mark that took off some of the colour. This is a gift so not sure about the inside yet.
Amazing family fun game! Lotsa laughs to be had with this game and a bit of creativity.
Bought this for my 10 year old nephews birthday! He love love loves it. Takes it on every play date and vacation! So much fu
Not too rude or too prude! We all love this it’s hours of fun!!
Bought as a gift for 10yr old who found the game hilarious.
Great fun for all the family. My 11year old nephew couldn’t stop laughing have yet to play it with my 8year old nephew but very simple to play and jokes for the adults too.
A good quality, fun for the whole family game that does not need batteries, assembling or syncing to the device. Simply open the box and enjoy. Great for those long winter nights that are coming. Would make a super Christmas prese
Kids laugh and have tons of fun with this! Glad to see that there is a kid friendly version!!!
Great little game this, we have a 5 and 11 year old and they both enjoyed playing. Plenty of fun. A quick game takes minutes but you could keep going as long as it takes.
My children were 7 & 9 when I first bought this game, and they loved it! They also like bringing it to sleepovers and playing with their cousins. It’s a fun game for the adults too.
Hilarious. Very rude at times and funny as! The kids hind it hilarious and it makes for a great opportunity to be naughty together and really laugh! It’s been an ice breaker between the generations
The kids love the quick pace of the game. Adults love the laughter. A game for the whole family!
like crazy amounts of poop jokes. We ended up taking a chunk of the cards out until the kids are a bit older, too often we are refusing to explain why the adults are laughing
Perfect gift for kids wanting to play games like mom and dad!
Bought as a gift for a 9th birthday being celebrated in confinement. Was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. Lots of laughs from the birthday boy. Would highly recommend.
It’s a huge hit in our house! My 12 year old has never laughed so hard
Always love playing the adult version but have some younger children so decided to get this. They literally cry from laughing and that’s such a great release from other stresses in life. Now need expansion pack.
My girls are 9,11,14 – The kids LOVE it! Favourite family game to play.
So fun! Came wrapped appropriately and super quickly. Love it and fun for all ages.
Got this for us to try as needed some card style family games. I have a 10 year old and 8 year old boy so naturally they found most of the cards silly and amusing! Some went over their heads and we took out a few ones we felt were extreme but overall very impressed with this purchase! We’ve had many games of this and it still funny!
Very funny game for adults and kids. I was actually in tears from laughing so hard the first game we played.
Fun game for the family. It is nice to have some cards that are more humourous for the parents as well as the funny cards for the kids. Kids love it. Lots of cards.
Lots of family fun – kids learnt some new naughty things! Lots of laughs! Some of them are beyond my 6 year old (that made some of their answers rubbish and some hilarious by accident!) Enjoy!
With a wide range of ages on Christmas day this provided lots of fun and laughter where all the answers are child friendly but it’s still possible to combine the cards in such a way as to make adult puns the children didn’t get but the adults did
Brilliant fun for all the family! The kids found it easy to pick up and we had a real laugh.
A perfect game to play with your preteens. laughter for hours! 🙂
Fun game for kids and adults alike. Some more mature humour for adults that kids wouldn’t necessarily understand but I think that makes the game funnier for older players.
The giggles and never ending laughs from my 9 year old as he made up funny sentences was absolutely priceless….
Loved i
It was a good buy and good quality. Kids like it and we play it frequently.
Great game for all ages. Appeals to all of my kids, ages 6 to 14, which is rare.
Such a funny game, my kids are in stitches over this game.
This is lots of fun for the family. Gets both adults and kids laughing. It isn’t one you can play over and over again as the jokes would get old, but a good one for Christmas or once or twice a year.
My son is 9 and my daughter is 11 and we all loved it. Haven’t seen my kids laugh that hard in ages. At one point we were all crying with laughter. Would highly recommend if you like childish fun. Would say you need to go through the cards and take out the ones you don’t think are appropriate or that they would understand.
The family absolutely loves this game! We get a great laugh! And gets kids off electronics!
Who doesn’t love a good fart joke?! So much fun! Kids love it. Great silly addition to family game night.
My grandkids loved this game but the adults had fun with it too.
My kids love this game. It’s fun and very funny.
Such a great game. 10 years and up but my 7 year old loves it too. Great family game! So funny!!
Great game, so much fun to play. Though it says 10+, I wouldn’t have a child younger than 13 play.
Our family loves this game! Our kids are 6, 7, 11. They ask to play it all the time. It is full of laughs for the whole family. Great party game as well.
We had so many laughs as a family playing this game! It was very entertaining for the array of ages we had playing.
Great game for the kids. Quirky enough to keep the adults entertained too!
Lots of fun. Already need to add to it for more questions and answers!
If you have played card against humanity you can easily play this game with your kids
Fun! A lot of fart jokes and Dad jokes! Not sure how many times we will play though be cause we got through 50% of the cards on our first play.
This game keeps you laughing – played with all my kids – ages 10, 11, 21 and 26. We all loved it!!!!
We play this with our 10yo and it’s great entertainment. Age appropriate and laughing the entire time!
So funny. Stated ages 10+ but some of the cards are geared for older than that. You absolutely have to have an easy going sense of humor.
Very fun – bought for Christmas Eve festivities and it did not disappoint. Had the 11 year old and adults laughing
The kids love it. My 9 year old almost had an asthma attack he was laughing so hard.
This game makes my kids laugh. Helps them read too. We always have fun playing this card game.
Loved the game, easy instructions, easy to learn . Kids are 12 an 10 we were All laughing and having a great time
Highly recommend
It is a Christmas present but it is the perfect size for travel or for camping.
Cards against humanity for kids. Played this with My two boys one is 16 one is 9 and they were both laughing hysterically playing this
Was hilarious, bought it for my family but will definitely gift it on.
This is a Christmas gift, so I can not give a review. I’m sure they will like it.
Love this game. Better then expected and very fast shipping.
This game is a hoot! The whole family loves to play.
A fun, and slightly off colour, way to spend time laughing with the kids.
We played with 9 players ranging from 7 to adult. We had a lots of laughs and its correct about 45 minutes a game. Definetely gets the family togethe
I gave this to my grandkids for Halloween. We began playing it right away. It brought so much fun and laughter to the night.
Having a blast with this kids version! It’s just like the adult version, just as funny!! Our 11 yr old had a blast!!
Haven’t opened this yet as it is a gift. But I arrived in time and is as expected.
Took this camping with us all summer….lots of laughs and family fun!!
I must say it is pretty funny. However there are some cards that we think are not suitable for this as they seem to be 18+ type answers
Our kids love this game (ages 11 and 6)! The adults enjoy it too! It’s appropriate for the kids but adults can find humour in it as well.
We took this game on our family camping trip and it kept everyone entertained for many fun games. From my nine year old, to teenage cousins, to Grandparents. Good laughs over and over.
It’s a awesome game to play with the family. Younger children may not get all the humour but adults and older children sure do.
Great fun for adults too. Some content is borderline inappropriate. Ex “twig and berries. Also, “Santa’s big sac”. The kids giggled but the two terms have now become part of their comedic repertoire
What a hilarious game for my kids and my niece and nephew! We all love playing it together and we bought all the expansion packs too!
This game is great! It’s for kids, but the humor is adult. We all loved it, and laughed so hard!!!
This is a very funny game. Brings laughter and giggles to everyone. Even my youngest who reads at a grade 1/2 level can play independently.
Great game. Family loves it. It needs more cards to be able to add on. But other then that it’s a blas
This is fast and entertaining game for kids between 6 to teenagers. I have 9 and 14 year old boys and we played this and they loved it.
Fun game, I had my son reading his card he laughed at every answer. It was great family time with lots of laughter.
My kids absolutely love this game, we had to play it every night for the first week we received it!
