I have ached for one of these for a long time. I love it. I use it a lot and it looks great on the kitchen worktop. My only gripe would be that despite adjustment as directed it doesn’t mix ingredients at the bottom of the bowl – a design flaw you wouldn’t expect in such an expensive produc
I bought this product based on its name and reputation. 75 years of customer satisfaction and strong and very well built. SADLY NOT ALL KITCHEN AID PRODUTS ARE MADE IN THE USA-SO WATCH OUT.
Excellent value, extremely well built, sturdy, easy to use and clean.
We use it for cake making mostly, but there are multiple uses. Does everything we need. Really outstanding build quality to the actual body, though we have experienced breakages on the blades which was a little disappointing. Not really something you can move in and out of the cupboard easily due to the weight, so worth bearing in mind if you don’t have someone you can keep it out all the time and use a lot!
What can I say?! if you like kitchenaids then you know what I am talking about. Great machine!
For two of us this machine is just the right size. It is sturdy and very easy to use. Would recommend this mixer to add to the kitchen.
Yes, I had problems with my first KitchenAid as it wouldn’t turn the hook, beater or paddle. They quickly replaced it with one which works beautifully.
I am delighted with this gadget, I make bread rolls and my husband says that they are the best rolls ever. The KitchenAid May cost more but it’s worth every penny.
Only draw back was the bowl got stuck on the machine. Quite a common fault it would appear. A quick check on you tube a little oil, problem solved.
Can’t remember what I was thinking waiting so long to get one. Absolutely fantastic, will most probably out live me.

Arrived within the stated period. Very pleased with its performance so far.
The only issue I really have with it, is that it has a slight metal manufacture imperfection on the side that could harm you if you don’t just fix it before using it.
Aditionally, as others have noted, my machine also arrived somewhat dirty, or should I say, stained, but as far as I can tell, it’s brand new and unused.

Kitchenaid Classic Stand Mixer in White. This Kitchenaid mixer does not disappoint. I run a small cafe/bakery from home, and have been using this machine almost every second day for over a month….no problems! Its smooth, it doesn’t struggle with power. It makes baking a dream. Easy to clean and wash the parts.
The only reason this is not a 5-star is because I think during shipping the adjustable/head section became slightly mis-aligned and I am not sure how to correct it…or whether it is actually mis-aligned. BUT, it is a GREAT product and I would highly recommend!
By the way, I live in Africa where power surges and cuts are frequent (okay so I don’t leave it plugged in while I’m not using it, but still….impressed); also making it a much longer distance for this machine to have travelled…and it has not disappointed! 🙂
What can you say, it’s a KitchenAid. It’s everything I ever wanted in a mixer.
It does produce a lot of heat when used for longer periods, for example when making Italian Meringue buttercream which requires mixing at high speed for up to 20 minutes at a time.
However, this is value for money. It does what it is meant to do, and it does it well.
Only thing I wonder about is how the promotional material talks about 10 speeds, as it shows on the machine itself.
To me, there are only 5 speed settings to move the handle to. Do you share the same experience?
I love it .i have a good mixer but it is very noisy.The kitchen aid is quiet I made a loaf today and its top class i make my own bread all the time so i need a good machine Iwill let you know how it performs .such a quick delivery just a few days .thanks Amason

I was worried about having something so big delivered but it arrived in perfect condition.
Also, it still baffles me how the white mixer is dramatically cheaper than any other colour, its exactly the same machine and the gloss white is just as smart as any other choice.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND, however ensure you have free counter top space as it is too heavy to lift.
This is the only mixer that you’ll ever need! It comes with 3 attachments (whisk, mixer & dough hook) which will cover the vast majority of your mixing needs. You can buy additional attachments for the very specific jobs. This has been used loads of times and does not show any sign of wear and tear. The build quality is very good, and I believe that it’s worth the premium price tag.
Excellent stand mixer. Does everything I need it to. Has increased the amount of bread and pastry cooked/baked in our household significantly as it takes the work out of mixing. I also love the versatility of the attachments that can be purchased for this device. This feature, especially, has really turned the KitchenAid into a machine that is used every day for one purpose or another. Don’t regret buying this at all.

A very tough food mixer, I make my own bread and dough which is a strain on this mixer but it copes easily.
This is a great piece of engineering, works well every time, wife is VERY happy after a good couple of years of service. My kids are very happy with mums cakes (etc). It really is the right bit of kit for the “Keen Amateur”.
The only negative point, or perhaps point to note, is that you need to purchase the “KitchenAid KN1PS Pouring Shield for KitchenAid…” as both flower and icing sugar go up in great blooms of dust if you don’t use melted butter.
(Other mixers have the same issue, but this device should come as standard with the mixer)

Since then I have gone on to train professionally as a Baker/Patisserie chef and this mixer saw me through all of my training and beyond.
Over the last 4 years I have used this mixer to make pastry, cookies, breads, cakes, ice creams, custards, even things such as mashed potatoes and burgers. It is exceptionally versatile and it has survived almost daily use without any repercussions – I will say that I have looked after this machine and followed the guidelines of maximum capacities and I believe that this is why my machine (along with the high build quality of KitchenAid) has lasted me for such a long time.
I would recommend the Classic mixer over the Artisan any day as the differences between the two in the real world are not worth the additional cost in my professional opinion (I have used both).
There are a few things about the classic that I don’t like but these are trivial – the bowl doesn’t have a handle and the whisk attachment isn’t dishwasher safe, apart from that this is a brilliant machine.
I recently upgraded to the larger 6.9L bowl-lift mixer due to needing something with more capacity and therefore I gave this mixer on to someone else. I cannot recommend this mixer enough it has been brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone who wants something that will last.
Bought for xmas gift. Recipient loved it. However, not impresessed that item was left on porch in KitchenAid box with no outer blank box. It could have ruined surprise for recipient as obvious to anyone who came to house what it was.
Good mixer especially for making bread, on the heavy side for moving around, best kept out where being used. Pleased I bought it Artisan would be too big.
I finally gave in and stopped drea,ING of owning one of these mixers and everything you read about them is TRUE such a difference it has made to my kitchen skills !!!!!!!!!!very speedy service as well literally two days delivery time!!!!!

Happy wife=Happy life. My Mrs has wanted one of these for an age and kept dropping the usual hints. Took the plunge as it’s an expensive present (for me anyway) and she loves it. It get lots of use, is very well built and a perfect size for a medium sized modern kitchen. To date I cannot fault it in any way at all.

Fab product quick dispatch and delivery. I know this product cost a bit but worth every penny.
One thing to note, if you don’t dry the recess where the bowl sits properly after cleaning, it can rust around the edge.
Bought this as a Christmas gift, on first use there was an issue with the motor at full speed, it didn’t seem to hold full power. On the Sunday evening I filled in a returns form, by Monday it had been collected and Tuesday I had a brand new replacement – Amazon Prime at its best! The replacement has been faultless for over a year. Oh and it mixes quite well. So I’m told.
Great product at a great price. Like other viewers my old Kenwood had died. I am so pleased I decided to replace with the Kitchen Aid Classic. White is good and not worth paying extra for the colours of the Artisan machine. This machine is easy to use,smooth and quiet. Just love it. Had an Amazon Warehouse deal so the price was brilliant too.
Excellent product. Originally bought Kenwood Premier Chef but wasn’t happy with how ‘clunky’ it was. Sold it and bought this KitchenAid and haven’t looked back. The first KitchenAid that arrived had a chip in the base – Amazon promptly replaced it no problem at all. The design is actually quite sturdy. It looks fantastic in the kitchen, is easy to use and does the job perfectly – from bread to cakes to biscuits. Is used every weekend and still like brand new.

Sitting here with a smug smile upon my face and the wonderful aroma of baking christmas cakes. You guessed it, I’ve used my new kitchen aid classic for the first time and it’s fantastic, I followed the recipe in Mary Berrys baking bible (another great buy from amazon) just put all ingredients except the fruits in the mixer, blend for half a minute and stir in fruits, Done. Fabulous machine.
