PERFECT can’t recommend it more, the price is a bit high but for the quilty it’s perfect. I tried a lot of 60% keyboards but always they are uncomfortable and they don’t have kickstands. Sounds amazing has three types of connections. easy to switch between modes and Bluetooth devices. The only downside is that it shows a fingerprint on the keys. Also, it’s a nice feature to have another color for keycaps.

I don’t know what makes a good mechanical keyboard but if this is low quality, it’s the best low quality product I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t ask for more

I have absolutely no complaints at all such a well rounded keyboard, had some cherry reds so popped them in as they are my preferred but still wouldn’t have minded the browns it came with… Can’t believe the quality to price

    Best Keyboard under 100 quid

I showed my friend and he said, that’s the Mercedes of keyboards! It has a nice weight to it and feels very sturdy and stays where it is! Loads of settings for the LED’s. You have Wifi – Bluetooth & USB connections. You can pick what one you wish to use. I’m using Bluetooth atm as I’m not gaming with this one but i will connect the Wireless 2.4Ghz when i game. You can connect 3 separate stations simultaneously using Bluetooth just by pressing Fn+Q or W or E to flick between stations. The software has three sections, Lighting, Keys and Macros. You have to have the USB lead plugged in to use the software. The only thing is i don’t how much battery i have left. So when u plug the USB in the space bar goes red indicating charging but it only ever stays red. I have to go and check my Bluetooth devices to see how much juice i have left, maybe there’s another way or I’m just being hasty. Great keyboard, ill be getting the full-size one very soon.

Keys feel great. Bluetooth, 2.4GHz or USB-C. Comes with a USB to USBC cable, full set of black and white keys, and a tool to change them.

A solidly built little mechanical RGB keyboard, which is supplied with a full spare set of white keycaps. Much better quality than I was expecting.

    Well worth the money

The keyboard itself is great quality for the money. Better build than I had expected, solid & sturdy. Lighting is again great for the price & alternate set of keycaps provided gives some customisability out of the box. Fantastic starter mechanical keyboard. One negative, the usb c port is reccessed into the case, so only very specific cables will fit. One provided is fine, but none of my other usb c cables can actually fit. Charger/connection might as well be proprietary.

Amazing keyboard with hotswappable switches. Very good connectivity in Bluetooth and I get several weeks of battery life with the lightning off.

Easy to mod: I added sound dampener in the case (It already had foam) and tape modded the PCB. I was surprised how good the stabilisers felt and sounded out of the box.

I didn’t like the switches (they feel ok but I personally don’t like tactile) so I swapped them for Gateron Silent Ink Black V2. I also bought some PCB keycaps. Now the keyboard sounds and feel really great. With the silent switches and the mods, it is about as loud as a MacBook keyboard making it perfect for the office.

I was looking for a 65% board hotswappable with ISO layout and Bluetooth for work (both from home or the office). This keyboard really exceeded my expectations and feels as good as others that are twice as expensive. I would recommend it if you want to build an entry level custom keyboard.

Great value keyboard. I wanted to try out a small form factor keyboard, but that size is too small for me so I bought a TKL. The switches are really nice, the RGB with the white background below the switches really makes the lights pop out and the best part is that it’s hot-swappable, meaning that you can add other switches on it.

It’s fantasticall well made, looks amazing and feel even better. I absolutely loved it.

Unfortunately I had to return it, as I do most of my work in the living room and other people found it slightly too loud so . If I had anywhere else to work at home, I would have been very happily typing this on it.

Perfect for all my keyboard needs. Solid build, premium feel, customisable and three connectivity options. I’m only a casual gamer so can’t really comment on lag and such, but at this price it’s a no brainer.

I don’t use this for gaming, but for normal everyday work (I’m using it right now!). It is a pleasure to use, the feel of it is wonderful – so much more solid than my old keyboard – and my typing has got ever so much more accurate. I also never tire of moving through the large selection of different key back-lighting effects which, especially in a low light room, look fantastic!

I have always wanted a wireless mechanical keyboard but never had the money or guts to purchase a Logitech G915.
I have watched many reviews and was looking at a tkl version of the Logitech or a major brand.

Seeing KLIM being suggested by amazon was not a surprise as I have previously purchased their laptop cooling fan. I was skeptical of a Chinese brand claiming to have a wireless and mechanical Keyboard.
All I could think of is I’m about to make an expensive investment in a Chinese throwaway product so I can dip my feet and see if I want a Logitech. My tiny western mind was blown.

When I plugged it in I was surprised, when I took it out of the packaging I was surprised.
This keyboard had big shoes to fill as I was upgrading from Logitech g610 and that is the best keyboard ever IMO minus RGB support :D.

I was expecting poor RGB, Key problems, low light brightness, and very poor wireless, I don’t know why I was buying this at this point. But when I opened the package, felt the product, and started using it, all that skepticism dissolved.

The first thing I thought was WOW, maybe they sent me a reviewer unit or the wrong model as I couldn’t believe how premium it felt. This was looking good.
When I plugged in the dongle I laughed so hard, that the keyboard had no lag at all. I couldn’t believe it, I plugged in the wire, plugged in my g610, and no difference. At this point, I knew that Logitech Lightspeed or marketing mumbo jumbo just meant a solid wireless dongle, and that bigger brands were using fancy terms to charge more.

KLIM, if you are listening, please hold your heads up high guys, and girls because, in my opinion, you have entered the midrange market, with a product that can sink many flagships, and that honestly is mind-blowing.

Keycaps: I’m not that educated in this field but the keycaps are fine. Do you know when you see pictures of RGB that look like the keycaps are floating? WELL, THIS IS IT!! Floating like keycaps with bright RGB that looks premium in both black and white, unlike most Chinese brands that lie in the pictures, this is the real deal. Looks exactly like in the picture and the keycaps feel premium :).

RGB: Godly, bright, and floaty look. Fully customizable per-key lighting and various effects. Saves your profiles just like premium models. This keyboard probably has better RGB than more expensive models, best i have seen anyways.

    Wireless/ gaming:
Bluetooth is good but not good for gaming, I mean no real problems but i won’t trust it. 3 profiles bluetooth 5.0.

Wired perfect, premium USB c cable I use as a fast charger for the phone so I always have it with me just in case.

2.4 GHz: I do not have a meter to measure but from my monkey observations :D, I have experienced the same as wired performance and no lags or cut-outs, just keep the dongle close and not behind pc and on the floor and you will be fine. This made me believe that this keyboard is better than most and boost its value in my opinion.

Customization: I have not modded it yet as I am new to the hobby but it looks to be fully customizable, basically a wireless and battery-included frame to start building on as all switches are modular.

Software: Simple but effective, Per key customization of RGB and inputs. I have a custom RGB layout and have mapped the page up and down as volume buttons and they work fine, I thought I would miss out on my Logitech volume wheel but this is better as it is more discreet :).
    can set macros.

TLDR; High-end midrange product, expected it to cost twice as much for what I’m getting :D.
No lag using a dongle, just like wired. Premium materials and RGB are sublime, Software allows you to program and or macro any key on the board, per Key RGB it’s ridiculous!!!

Sorry if I missed anything, feel free to ask anything, and I will find out and will get back to you asap.

Very bright and colourful keyboard. Comes originally with full black keys, but has a full selection of replacement white keys and the tools to replace the keys safely.

The toggle switch lets you choose between an array of colour modes, ranging from off, static single colours, to singing and dancing as you type, highlighting just the pressed key, the whole row, or a wave from the key, or the whole keyboard at once. Really pulls a full RGB gaming set up together.

I’m no mech keyboard enthusiast, but this feels great to type on with the right amounts of pressure as you’d expect, and satisfactory tactile feedback.

The big bonus is being wireless, so you can sit back and relax should you want, and the battery life is alright; heavily changes depending on which lighting mode is active.

The only downside for me personally is the lack of the number key pad. I didnt realise how often i use it until i started this keyboard.

I absolutely love this keyboard. I’m not a gamer but I like the fact that it’s mechanical and the light effect being joy to my otherwise very boring life haha. It’s also great that you can connect it via Bluetooth (up to three different devices!), USB and 2.5hz connection. In short: loving it!

    Genuine non vine review.

Great keyboard with brown switches. Still getting used to its form factor but I really appreciate the additional white key caps that came with the board and spare switches.

The fact that it is hot swappable at this price point is phenomenal.

There is a good weight to the keyboard and clear instructions on how to use its features properly.

    My only gripes:
    – the back key sounds very springy so might be a dodgy switch. But you can hear a rattle when pressing it.
    – I haven’t worked out how the RGB lighting works in the different modes. I had it in wired mode once and no lights would come on at all and then sometimes the RGB lighting just randomly picks what it wants to be.

Aside from that I am impressed with the KLIM brand.

    Great for the money

I was looking for a replacement for my 150 keyboard after it died on me. Decided to go wireless , so i trolled Amazon and come across this little beauty. Never considered a 60% Keyboard before but I am so glad I did, and even more happy I settled on the KLIM Shift Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. The packaging is better than any keyboard I have owned, all bio degradable bags and a premium look and feel. I knew this was going to be good just from that. The keyboard itself….WOW. Amazing feel to the keys (Brown Switches) and the perfect amount of clickiness to them. Took me less than a minute to setup and pair with my Gaming PC. Absolute pleasure to type with, feels like a 200 keyboard and looks amazing on my desk, taking less space and looks like it belongs there.
Included in the premium box is a spare set of whit keycaps (also hot swappable) I have used a few to highlight the WASD and Space Keys….Looks amazing. Also included is a cool looking key puller. Overall I would be doing this keyboard an injustice if I didn’t give it 5Stars as it deserve every one of them. If I am honest. this KLIM Keyboard has put far more costly and well known brands to shame. The ONLY downside is, I have to buy another one for my Wife as she also loves it lol.
RGB is bright, but not overly so, removeable side cover is easily removeable as it is magnetized and gives the Keyboard a whole new look. 100% recommend this if you want form/function and a well made Keyboard. If you dont own one, then you should or you are missing out.

So I would not describe this Klim keyboard as ‘cheap’ but given the marketplace for these gaming keyboards it is on the lower side of the price range. It is a mechanical keyboard and wireless too which can be an issue in gaming with any latency being exposed. My aging brain is also a big factor. I have gamed since I was a child and it remains with me to this day. I won’t ever not do it I don’t think but with products like this, it helps as the backlit keyboard just gives my peripheral vision a helping hand – and I need all the help I can get!! It is really well made too and looks good. I had never used a Klim keyboard before and I am impressed with what I have found. Really very good.

My partner tested this item. This is his review.

This is a 60% sized Wireless Mechanical Keyboard from the brand KLIM. This is the first product I have tested from KLIM, which appear to be a small emerging gaming peripheral company. I enjoyed their packaging and the story that was told in the little pamphlet. Overall, it makes the product feel like it has a personal touch and a general feeling of care and quality.

The 60% size keyboard format is ideal for anyone looking to reduce the footprint of their keyboard on their workspace. Often this is a need for gamers, which is the target audience of this keyboard.

I myself am not a huge fan of the 60% format, I find that the space saved is very minimal compared to TKL (or even full sized for that matter). Along with the lack of direct function keys (you need to press Fn first to use F1-F12), the reduced size brings odd and unexpected quirks, such as the LEFT ALT key being positioned under the Z and X key, instead of under the X key where it is normally positioned. This is ironic for a gaming keyboard because it’s during gaming that keys such as ALT are used more frequently. However, as this is perhaps more of a criticism of the (industry standard) 60% keyboard sizing, this keyboard cannot possibly lose marks here.

    Brown switches / Keyboard quality:
Moving onto the keyboard itself, the keys are brown colour mechanical switch based. As a gamer, for many years I actually had identified Cherry MX brown keys as the switch colour of choice for myself. This was around 15 years ago during my teenage gaming years (pre social media and video sharing sites of course). The Brown coloured switch offers a tactile bump along with an approximate actuation force of 55g (Cherry MX Specifications of course). This makes this switch a sort of hybrid for both typing and gaming use. For those who already know that brown is their desired mechanical switch colour of choice, this keyboard should offer what they need.

The keys feel like good quality and the general build quality of the keyboard feels very solid. The keyboard is specified to weigh 640g. This makes it an ideal balance between something of good quality weight and something that can be carried around for a LAN party (do people still do these?) without too much excessive weight.

For those white key cap fans, included is a complete set of replacement white keys which is a nice touch!

    Connectivity:

This keyboard offers three different connectivity types which I think is impressive: Wireless 2.4ghz (via the provided USB dongle), Bluetooth (V3 and V4) and wired via the provided USB-C to USB-A cable.
There are a few other mainstream keyboard manufacturers that also similar connectivity to this keyboard (e.g. Corsair, Razer and a few others).

While being able to switch between the various three operating modes (Wireless 2.4ghz/Bluetooth/Wired) is a great capability, unfortunately the button to do this is on the backside of the keyboard, so changing modes requires you to lift up the keyboard in order to switch modes. Not a massive issue though, especially as you can switch between three different Bluetooth devices on the keyboard itself, more on this next.

What’s impressive about the Bluetooth mode is that it offers connectivity to three different Bluetooth devices, switchable using the hotkeys under W (BT1), E (BT2) and R (BT3) keys. I actually own a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard which I bought during lockdown which also offers the same functionality. The keyboard also supports Bluetooth V3 and V4 which as a bit of a geek also impressed me. This level of detail on the Bluetooth specifications is really useful for the end users that need to operate multiple devices from one keyboard.

Now for the big elephant in the room, the Wireless 2.4ghz mode provided via the USB dongle does not specify anything about the input latency, which is probably the first thing as a gamer that I’m looking for. Competing products from pretty much all of the mainstream brands (Logitech, Corsair, Razer, etc) would be offering 1ms or less. This is quite a surprise considering that input lag on wireless keyboards is probably one of the most important factors for any form of competitive gaming.

Battery life on Wireless 2.4ghz mode:

I actually did a fair amount of testing of this keyboard using the Wireless 2.4ghz mode in a few gaming sessions (somewhat more casual-competitive these days of course). Unfortunately I had been running the RGB lighting on its default brightness level (5/5) and therefore have only tested the battery life with the lighting at this level. With this in mind, I can say that the battery life when the lighting is on its highest level is a little short (perhaps a few days maybe with a few hours use each day).

Over the years, I have been blessed with the comparatively long battery life of Logitech’s wireless mice and keyboards which can be literally months at a time on one battery or set of batteries. So I was quite surprised to see the red low battery indicator begin flashing at me on the space bar within a few days of use. I have now set the brightness level to 2/5 and hopefully the battery will last a little longer at least. I will update this review with my findings accordingly. I quite like the lighting so I don’t think I’ll use it with it off 🙂

I have not tested the software which apparently offers more RGB lighting modes as well as some macro options and custom key binds.

Overall, this is a great brown mechanical switch based 60% keyboard (for those that like the 60% keyboard size). Battery life wise, I will have to continue testing with the lower brightness mode and see how long that lasts. The only thing that I can think of that’s disappointing about this keyboard is the lack of specification on the wireless latency. I think overall, this is not a bad buy at its current price of 57. If a 60% size brown switch based keyboard is your thing and you don’t care much for low latency gaming, it’s a great purchase!

60% size. Brown Tactile switches. Great connectivity options (Bluetooth/Wireless/Wired). Decent!

I’m swapping from tenkeyless wires to 60% wireless and in a single sentence summary I’d have to say: I’m really enthusiast fussy about my IT gear, and I think this brilliant. I’ve been using K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE with Speed switches for the last 4 years and I’m finally gong to replace it with this. I didn’t use the addressable rgb on the K65 as anything more than a novelty and the this keyboard has it’s own less sophisticated but still vibrant and impressive of multicolour RGB that functions in the same way I’d settled into using my old one day-to-day anyway so it’s no compromise to me. The standardised and swappable keyboards are lovely, with the double shot and the action is responsive. The lettering does not have any of those weird design artefacts where open only-loop stencil type fonts are used – these are clean and well presented complete loops.

The board is compact, but feels weighty and well assembled. The versatility of having both bluetooth support and dedicated usb wireless dongle support is appreciated – and I’ve been using the dedicated wireless usb dongle myself and the performance has been flawless.

I would really highly recommend this if you are looking for a wireless 60% mechanical style board with a sturdy, chunky, deck.

The branding is nicely plain and discreetly placed.

highly recommend 60% mechanical style board with a sturdy, chunky, deck.

This keyboard is very well made, very well made indeed. The keyboard has a really great range of backlighting colours and the led’s are really bright and give off a clear bright ambience.

The keyboard comes with spare keys and fitting tools. Bluetooth or cable and a great wireless range even though it is not needed.

The most important benefit to the keyboard however is the way the keys move, they slide really nicely and do not stick.

First things first: this is a serious keyboard. It’s completely overegineered and has all kinds of features that you could only dream of in a wildest IT guys dream.

    Let’s quickly summarise:
    – LED backlighting with 19 different themes
    – removable keys (with a spare set in white included in the box!)
    – removable keyboard frame
    – variable height stand
    – works via USB, Bluetooth or wireless connection
    – supports Windows, OS X and Linux

Now you know this keyboard means business the minute you open the package. It comes in a luxurious black cardboard packaging and it’s a pleasure to open the box. In the box you will find, in addition to the keyboard itself of course:

    – a spare set of keys
    – a nifty little tool for key removal
    – wireless connection dongle (which is plugged in into the keyboard – remove it if you’re connecting via Bluetooth)
    – USB to USB-C cable
    – instruction manual
    – keyboard cheat sheet
    – warranty card

Setup was super straight-forward on my Mac. In order to choose the mode in which the keyboard will operate you press a little button on the back of the keyboard – I chose Bluetooth becuase my Macbook supports it and it was connected within minutes. By default the keyboard assumes you’re using Windows, but fear not – in order to change it to a Mac keyboard layout you just press the function key and the Z key and you’re good to go.

I was hoping that the battery will die out on me so I can know how long it takes to charge, but it seems the keyboard comes pretty juiced up. I simply left it plugged in to charge overnight and after 3 weeks of use it’s still going strong.

The typing experince for me personally is so-so. The brown switches are not my favourites, as they are pretty hard and I personally prefer the red ones instead, but regardless, there is something so reassuring about using a truly mechanical keyboard – my fingers just flow over the keys and my typing speed is just unbelieavable. I am not too sure why did the industry decide it was a good idea to abandon mechanical keyboards in the mainstream computing – the newer systems are just not as good as the decades old technology. Anyway, I disgress – the typing feels beautiful and the option of being able to swap the key switches for red ones is amazing.

In terms of day-to-day operation the keyboard supports all kinds of function keys, via a combination of a dedicated FN key and some designated keys for changing volume, muting, etc. Overall – no issues at all.

Now, let’s talk about the reason you’re bying this keyboard in the first place – THE GORGEOUS LED SYMPHONY!

Yes, it’s completely over the top. Yes, it’s completely unnecessary. But boy, it just looks so cool. You can choose from different 19 modes, but my favourite one is the rainbow mode 🙂

What can I say. I think you’re getting A LOT for your money here. This keyboard is built to last, feels plenty sturdy and offers features which not many others at this pricepoint do. Just get it. It’s going to change the way you work and play!

    Pretty cool keyboard for geeks

Theres a lot to love about this keyboard from KLIM. Compact and fun, but not without a couple of potential niggles, what’s the best and worst to know about?

    What I Loved –
    * I was looking for something that would last to help me reduce the amount of plastic I use, and with an estimated lifespan of 10+years, this mechanical option is top quality and should be a big improvement on a basic keyboard.

    * Loads of options from the LED lights! You could choose a different colour or style for a about a month I reckon, should you want to! Bright and evenly back lit, I love how useful this feature is when it’s starting to get dark outside but I don’t really need to turn all the light on.

    * Very accurate and responsive – perfect for gamers but also good for typing, I don’t ever feel I haven’t quite pressed a key hard enough.

    * Option to switch easily between 3 devices is great for ultimate flexibility. When you consider the total price, it’s pretty good value when you consider this convenience – having one quality keyboard that does everything is a bonus for me.

    * Option for white keys and a key puller tool included.

    * The battery life is really good, but I’m also happy with the wired functionality and no worry about charging.

    * The compact size – there’s no separate numerical keypad, making it suitable for smaller desks.

What I’m still getting used to –

    * The compact size! I’m miss the numerical keypad a little! Some of the keys are placed slightly off from what I’m used to to fit the smaller footprint and I’m still finding I miss-type occasionally, but I think that is just something to get used to.

    * The noise – it’s louder than I’m used to from a membrane or scissor switch keyboard. This is a problem mainly when I’m working, and using Teams – I find it difficult to surreptitiously type whilst in a call unless my microphone is muted because the keyboard is loud! My colleague tells me she can hear the keystrokes, but not too loudly. But this is weighed up with the other benefits of a mechanical keyboard.

Overall I’m very happy with this keyboard, it will be well used for many years! Is it overkill if you are not using it for gaming? Probably, but it’s fun, bright and will last, so who cares??

I seen them advertised for sometime now and even seen review videos on them but wasnt into the 60s size, I just didn’t really get the appeal. Having changed now I really like it, the keyboard is great and everything but it’s the amount of space it frees up for my mouse hand and in combination with a desk mat it’s a total winner and I’d never switch back. The buttons are really loud but the buttons and the switches can be hot swapped which is really cool so if it did bother me I could make it more quiet but it doesn’t bother so far. My muscle memory isn’t developed for use of it yet so typing is a bit annoying but with my fingers on WASD i can hit everything I need to. It comes with a full set of white replacement keys that I swapped the WASD keys out for and I think it looks really cool. It had all the tools in the box for swapping keys. Includes arrow keys on the right under the enter key which is great as i think they are left off a lot of 60s. The ARGB is great and the colour is dispersed great under and through the keys.

This keyboard is excellent quality. For both typing on and gaming, it is comfortable and responsive.
The materials used give it a very premium feel, as does the USB-C port. It can be used via Bluetooth, the provided 2.4G adapter or wired and all of these connections are reliable. The lighting looks great and the feel when pressing keys is nice.

The KLIM shift keyboard is a high quality configurable keyboard, it comes with a spare set of white keycaps so you can choose to replace all the black keycaps or mix them up. You also get a keycap and switch remover, two spare switches, a charging lead and a manual.
The keyboard itself is solidly built, it has a removable magnetically attached frame, a wireless dongle which is also magnetically attached and can be used flat or at an angle due to the folding rear feet. All the feet have rubber pads to protect the desktop and to stop the keyboard sliding.

The keyboard can be used as a Bluetooth, wireless or wired keyboard by pressing the recessed button on the underside of the unit. Bluetooth pairing is very easy, the unit powers up in Bluetooth mode and the “Q” key flashes slowly, simply hold the “FN” and “Q” keys down for 3s until the flashes become faster and the keyboard will be in pairing mode.
It supports 3 Bluetooth connections, the other two Bluetooth pairing keys are “W” and “E”, the pairing process is the same, it is just the letter that is different. Switching between paired devices is similar, you just do a short press of both the function key and the Bluetooth key (Q,W or E) .

The keys are very responsive and have positive feel so you know that the key has been pressed, there is of course the noise that mechanical keys make as well.

I have tried all 3 connection methods and they have worked perfectly, I also tried a Bluetooth connection to my PC and my phone, this was also problem free, the Windows key brings up the Google Assistant in Android.

I find the legends on the black keys too dark so I had to use the backlight, I didn’t want cycling patterns so I downloaded the software from KLIM’S website and created a static pattern with a red backlight for the multimedia keys and white for the rest.
You could literally spend hours playing around with the configuration software although a manual for the software would be helpful.

This is a really good compact keyboard, it is so versatile and looks like it is built to last.

    Solidly built configurable RGB keyboard

Fast connection via bluetooth and stays paired with my ipad and computer. The keyboard caps are quite sturdy and when typing is quite loud, although I do prefer a louder keyboard. The lights are very bright and so look great when in a dark setting, whilst playing games for example. The instructions are clear so setting up was very easy.

This keyboard is an absolute gamchanger as far as keyboards go, its plug and play ready to go on pc or xbox! Really is a user friendly device. There is multiple settings available for the back lights (it comes in breathe mode which fades colours in and out, which is pleasant enough but I prefer a solid back-light and that was a quick and easy fix to change. The weight of the keyboard is exactly what I was looking for, with the metal surround, the build quality is unreal. The other set of white keys i set up for gaming as you can see and in my opinion its an absolute genius idea to provide that option, once they wear then switch them to the opposite. It came with 2 key removers, unfortunately the plastic one bent and was unusable after 2 keys, may have been me being heavy handed, however the metal one seems like a survivor qnd I had no further problems when I switched. Possibly the best keyboard I’ve ever used.

    Works grea

This is quite a chunky little keyboard! It’s reasonably small (not a full sized keyboard) so it can easily fit on a small surface for gaming or in confined spaces and is probably the heaviest keyboard that I’ve ever owned (and I got my first “PC” back in the 80s!) That said, it feels like quality and does a decent enough job. I set it up to be used via cable at first, no probs. Then used the little dongle type thing to use it wirelessly and it took a while for me to realise the settings I needed to change for it (there is a little Mode button which you need to set to Wireless (2.4G) and switch the switch to ON). There are lots of options for different coloured keys – which is great but I am fine with the default. All in all a decent enough, rugged keyboard which feels built to last.

This is a good all round mechanical keyboard. It connected via Bluetooth very fast but there’s also the option for using a wired connection.

I like that I can feel the keys very clearly when I press. This makes it good for gaming. I also like that you can simple change the top keys if you don’t like the colour or if they break.

It’s compact and yet it doesn’t feel small. I like the RGB lights, perfect for an immersed gaming experience. Finally it’s less noisy than others I have tried.

I definitely recommend this as an upgrade to a cheaper gaming keyboard.

Very good, not too noisy, good RGB

his keyboard is great for gaming and has quick responses. For serious gamers, the keys can be interchanged to white which looks cool. The dongle can be used with monitors phones and tablets etc. instead of a mouse. My husband has mobility disabilities and is loving using the keyboard on his lap so it makes using the keyboard much easier.
a really good gaming keyboard with many uses

This mechanical keyboard is an awesome piece of kit. Very small in size (allowing some desk space freeing) it weighs considerably more than you’d think. Connect through a USB dongle (with the unit), Bluetooth or a USB cable (with a switch for, which mode) this installed rapidly. The keyboard has a rainbow led effect, but cuts it when not in use as a power saving effect. The keys offer a satisfying clunk on press and the unit ships with a full replacement key cover (in white) as well as two replacement key switches. I’ve not tested battery life, to be fair, but suspect it is the battery that offers the unit the weight I mentioned. This is pricey for a keyboard but feels classy all the way through.

Good mechanical keyboard with brown switch (hot-swappable). Comes with extra keycaps (white) and installed ones (black), and the toolkit to remove them.
Great feedback, pleasurable to type, even for a prolonged time.

easy to set up and use. the keyboard makes typing different but in a good way. It feel like a modern type writer with lights. definitely game friendly and nice on the fingers. no need to run any installation, as soon as the receiver is in, its all ready.

    comfy and tech friendly.

This is exceptionally well made and for its size quite weighty, The keys are positive with a good movement range but do not clatter.
As well as the fitted black keys there are a set of white key tops so you can replace the black ones if you wish, the key tops are easier to read with the white ones than the black ones unless the back light is on. With the backlight there is a tremendous range of colour options and brightness (Apart from white which I wanted however you can download an additional driver which may give more control)
It is very versatile in connection you can have it wired (usb C on the keyboard) WiFi (a mini dongle is provided and kept in the keyboard so you don’t lose it) or Bluetooth (unusually you can use this to connect 3 devices)
    Minor downsides
When charging the colours explained in the manual do not seem correct we had a continuous red light which went out when charged.
A strange one, although the supplied usb lead worked fine it has a marginally longer plug than my other usb C leads which do not fit and just drop out, the supplied lead works the other way round and quite happily plugs into other usb C devices I have.

I was looking for a smaller keyboard to make space for Wacom tablet on my desk when using Photoshop. This fits the bill perfectly as it’s 12cm narrower than my HP keyboard. I wasn’t sure about a “clicky keyboard” for non-gaming use but found the Shift is OK for typing, maybe because I use a laptop keyboard a lot. The KLIM Shift is very similar in size and layout to my Lenovo. There’s two levels of feet at the back to tilt the keyboard, I preferred with maximum tilt.

Keyboard click noise is reasonable, less than a Razer. However, I wouldn’t want someone typing away beside me in an office environment with this keyboard!

One thing I found is that the palm of my left hand would sometime depress the CTRL key on the bottom left and I’d be inputting CTRL-characters when typing, which could have odd effects depending on the app.

The Shift is decently weighty, perhaps due to the internal battery and stays put on the desk. Connections can be by cable, Bluetooth or using the supplied wireless dongle. A complaint is that the USB-C port is deeply recessed and many of the USB cables I had didn’t fit – the supplied cable fitted OK of course. Connection by Bluetooth was fine, following the guidance. I have yet tried the wireless dongle.

Out the box, the keyboard is set for RGB patterns. After downloading the KLIM app, you can set different patterns and adjust the brightness. I set mine to plain white and lower intensity. Using the app you can save and load Profiles, define macros etc. All in all very similar to Razer Synapse.

Lastly a complete set of white keycaps are included so you can swap or mix. The instruction are good, explaining how to use the function and media control by combining key presses.

All in all I was impressed by the KLIM Shift, even if you’re not 100% focussed on gaming this is a useful keyboard where space is limited. It feels robust, has lots of connection options and can be customised to suite your taste.

I will start with the negatives and why two stars were taken off for this review.
Despite my desire to customise the keyboard with my own light colours and combinations, they have the wrong keyboard in the software.
On the software, they have a keyboard with a large shift key and a small enter key, but on the actual keyboard, there is a small shift key and a large enter key. The / key and the # keys appear to be in the wrong place on the software keyboard, so when you click on either of them to choose a colour they remain unlit (as shown in the picture).
The keys will both light up when you choose any pre lit pattern, such as ripple or solid.
As soon as you realise macros or any modification will not work with these keys, it goes from annoying to a much bigger problem.
Both the keys do type fine, you just can not customise them in any way.
It seems they made a slightly different American keyboard and a UK one both called Klim Shift but only included the US keyboard in the software.
    Now onto some positives.
Red and brown are the most popular mechanical switches, the ones on this keyboard are brown, which lends itself a little more to typing, feels heavier, has a louder clack sound, but excels anywhere.
With the included dongle, you can use the keyboard wirelessly via 2.4Ghz, Bluetooth, or wired.
There is a set of spare white caps/keys included that can be switched out using the key removal tools.
Two spare mechanical switches, a USB cable, a manual, an envelope with stickers, and a shortcut reference guide are also included. The packaging and contents look excellent.
It seems the reference guide is a tad off, to take a screenshot you must first unlock the Windows key with Fn and Windows key, then while holding the Fn and windows keys, PrtSc.
There is no question that this keyboard is a joy to use and looks beautiful, but the software needs updating and fixing. If it does, I will rate this review five stars.
If you use the preset lights and do not need to macro the and # keys, and have no problem with the fiddly screenshot button, then go for it.
This was tested on Windows 10.

Update: I checked for a software update over the weekend and tried different languages in the install, hoping the correct keyboard would be displayed in the software.
There was no luck with either but I do feel three stars was a little harsh as this is a joy to type on and it is my main keyboard now.
It’s not nearly as fiddly now that I’ve gotten used to doing screenshots faster, and I’ve noticed other reviewers are perfectly happy with the prelit keyboard options (although it still irks me that two keys remain unlit in custom).
As a result, I have rated it four stars and intend to give it five if the software is updated.

Amazing keyboard but wrong one in the software app

I have used this for a few days with my gaming PC and have had good results so far. All the keys are quiet with no mechanical clicking, their travel feels positive, I haven’t had any issues mistyping. There are a lot of color options and modes to cycle through that really look cool, my personal favorite is a slow pulsing through the spectrum. Lighting has 5 levels of brightness and can be turned off completely if you wish. Battery life is a claimed ten hours continuous use with the lighting on max with a 2000 MAH battery that should take around 4 hours to recharge.
Included in the box is a key removal tool a charging cable and a spare set of white keys to customize to your preference.
I am very happy with my keyboard and recommend this product.
please let me know if my findings were of use to you.

I have used a number of keyboards and replacement keyboards over the years but this is on another level.
As soon as you take it from the box you notice its heft. This is sold, well built. Nothing lightweight about it. This — it seems to say — is something built to last. And this is a gamer keyboard, so its going to take some punishment!
But its also strangely compact at the same time. I have it on my lap at the moment as I type this and its just the right size.
And in use — the bounce back of the keys is, well, perfect. It often takes a while to get used to a new keyboard, but I was at home on this one straightaway. Everything just feels right.
Connection to the computer or whatever device is very easy, with three option — wired, via a dongle, or Bluetooth. Not sure why you would not use Bluetooth, and if you do there is the remarkable bonus of being able to connect to three different devices at the same time and switch between. At the moment I am not sure why I’d do that , but I can imagine how that might be useful. Anyway — seriously neat idea.
And then it gives you two sets of keys. You can swap some of all of the keys so as to have some or all of them as black text on a white background instead of white on black, so if there are sets of keys that are important (WASD?) you can highlight them. Again its just neat.
And the keyboard is illuminated, which is really surprisingly helpful. And just rather attractive as well.

Firstly – I am not a gamer, so I cannot review this as such. I am reviewing as someone who has never had a keyboard that costs this amount unless it’s been ergonomic-based. That said, I have always wanted one.

Based on a user who is new to these keyboards what I will say is this – it feels really well thought out. Some small things that have pleased me along the way thus far:

    – The black magnetic keyboard surround that you can just lift off easily reveals the white backdrop. Lovely.
    – The dongle that sits in the back of the keyboard magnetically
    – You can use it wired as well as the varied wireless/BT connections. (Which is connected easily with BT)
    – The good length of wire, and the velcro strap to wrap it back up again.
    – The variance of colours and speeds and brightness and how easy they are to change.
    – The “feel” of using the keyboard I really appreciate as well. Never used a mechanical one before, they are perhaps a bit noisier but I do really like it. I may find though it’s a bit more tiring for me on the fingers as I am used to a very short press light keyboard.
    – I have tried these keyboards without number pads before, I don’t usually like them because the numbers are in odd places. On this one though, they’re just at the top – and you FN to use the F keys.

I will not yet be using the key remover that comes with it so you can cleverly have some buttons white for contrast. That I will endeavour to use once I figure out exactly what I will be using this keyboard for.

Like I say, I am not a serious gamer and never on a PC – but I very much like this!

56.97 is the cost at the time of review, which seems decent value for a mechanical keyboard – but you might want to check with reviews that are more familiar with using them than I am if you’re a more pro-user level.

Very nicely packaged as well. Certainly giftable if you know what the person is looking for.

A super easy Five Stars from me!

Well thought out, easy and nice to use, not a gamer - but I love it!

The wireless keyboard is smaller than a standard keyboard and great if you have limited space on a desk etc.
The keyboard connects to your device using the dongle that is magnetised to the back of the keyboard.
It paired well with my pc and I was able to type successfully.
You receive white keys and a key puller if you want to change keys from black to white or mix them.
The keyboard is charged using a usb and has lasted a number of days on a full charge.

    Small and compac

The Klim Shift has just about all you need from a keyboard with a 60% form factor. Included straight out of the box is a complete set of white keycaps and decent keycap removal tools for those who prefer a brighter colour and the easily removable keyboard frame will make dusting underneath the keyboard and removing other associated keyboard grime and debris significantly easier than it is with a fully framed keyboard, as well as offering an alternate aesthetic.

The key switches themselves offer a nice travel, feel and sound combined as well as nice feeling keycaps. The RGB on the keyboard itself is well done -though not programmable out of the box- however, it does have an array of patterns, brightness controls and colour selections.

The spacebar light also serves as a battery indicator, which I believe is a novel and useful concept I’d like to see on other devices like this as well.

The keyboard deck, as well as everything about the keyboard, feels rigid and well constructed right down to the keycaps themselves, which endured the cat attempting to chew on them when left unsupervised with minimal scuff marks- impressive, considering the little sprite has a bite like a Bob cat.

So…overall, an excellent device for small form factor keyboard enthusiasts, though buyer beware, if you have gigantic, or even above average sized hands, this may not be for you- as it can feel cramped at times compared to using a standard scale outlay. That really goes with the territory, though, as you either like your keyboards small or you don’t and this is great wired on the desk or wireless on your lap and ace for sleepovers or taking off site.
