This attachment is thin enough to get into pretty tight pipes.
The push form the water jet makes it pretty simple to make headway through a blocked drain.
Make sure you have another hose available, ideally.
It makes cleaning the pipe alot easier as it comes out – I wont go into the detail…
Had a blockage between the pipe leading off my kitchen drain and the one going under the garden. Didn’t realise how bad it was. Used this and it is brilliant! Easy to use and saved me from calling out a professional. Would highly recommend to anyone if you have problems!
Really impressed by this. Clears drains in fraction of the time of rodding.
However, it needs some way to store hygenically. Something like a hose reel would make it so much easier to handle.
Bought this to unblock 2 rainwater downpipes that we’re constantly overflowing in heavy rain, had to remove the downpipes and then used this attachment to clear from ground level all the way back to the soakaways. Took an hour on each down pipe to clear 20 years worth of crap, but got there in the end by just Letting the jet do it’s job and worm it’s way through. Just let it feed itself to the obstruction and then pull it back a few inches and let it go again. Doing this constantly it slowly worked its way down the pipe and I eventually got 5m down on both drains where it then hit solid….I guess this was at the soakaway as both now flowing freely!
My only gripe was that the brass adaptor on the hose was not compatible with the plastic connector on my karcher K5, it was too big and I had to file it down and then lever it on with a screwdriver. Not acceptable at this price hence only 4 stars but it did clear my drains so can’t complain too much!
Highly Recommended. I had tried everything to unclog my kitchen sink, chemicals, hose pipe, soda powder, white vinegar but nothing worked, found a number of a plumber but thought i would try this as a last ditch effort, i knew it would be much cheaper. I have just used this straight out the box and within half an hour of gross disgusting work it has solved it.
3x 90-degree (minimum accepted size as per docs from Karcher) elbows, 40mm 7m plastic drainpipe(kitchen), 2x men + K4 = win. It took sometime to get through the bends, needed to allow for the hose to center itself inside the pipe before pushing into the elbows. All blockages were cleared.
We’d had several blockages over the years which we’d managed to loosen but this time, it had moved too far down. This attachement worked great with our K2. Really recommend it. Saved us calling a professional that would have cost 170 + vat.
Drains to soakaway from gutter downpipes were completely blocked with roots and soil. After a few back and forth movements to “get a grip” the device pulled itself along an amazingly long way. Drains now free flowing.
I was skeptical at first as the water only jet backwards. After using it. I learn that the ball bearing is like a hammer. You have to push and pull so that it hit the fatberg to break it down. The backwards jet than pushes the dirt/fat out. Rather expensive but after using, it’s worth it. Used with k4 pressure washer.
When you start out with this please be patient. It works but relies on the user gently pushing in and out.
The pipe is a reinforced hosepipe stiff enough to penetrate the blockage. One end has a brass bayonet fitting which fits into your Karcher jet washer gun. The other end is a brass bell end with water jets which spray backwards. This spray provides the propulsion for the pipe and bell end to rapidly move along the drain pipe.
Fit the bayonet end to your turned off Karcher jet washer gun handle. I have two pressure washers, one cheaper low power and one higher pressure machine. This hose works best with higher pressure machines.
Locate your blockage. With the water turned on into the Karcher but no power yet, insert the bell end into the drain to be sorted. Push the bell end in up to the red mark on the shaft.
Once properly in, turn on your Karcher and let your pipe shaft go. It will speedily penetrate the drain. Keep pushing in more length until you hit the blockage. Now gently pull and push your pipe in and out until fluid levels rise and gurgling starts.
Once the block has been loosened, keep pushing your bell end in and out. The water levels will suddenly rise and flow towards you. You will see the fluid and blockage disperse.
Once the blockage is dealt with, the pipe will start to pull away from you. Let it go in all the way just in case a secondary blockage is present and repeat the above process.
Be patient, it does work. It looks very similar to that used by the professional I had to originally call out.
I found that it just didn’t work with the lower powered Karcher washer. It does need some Welly.
The most difficult part of this process was fitting the bayonet to the Karcher handle. Had to really push hard to get the brass bayonet fitting to securely attach itself to the handle. Apart from that, this has been a welcome and good value purchase. The pro charged me 180. I have used this hose twice now, it is definitely saving me money.
Was bought for a friend who is happy with the purchase arrived on time was packaged well
This is a well engineered device. My brother recommended it. He gets good results twice a year. However I didn’t. This device is probably best used with the more powerful Karcher pumps. Mine is the entry level pump – a pea shooter by comparison to my brothers top of the range Karcher pump. My kit didn’t clear a heavily blocked drain and I called in the professionals. My brother though gets really good results.
We bought this as we have a persistent problem with a shared drain, as there is a lip where pipes have been relayed (badly) under a neighbour’s extension 12 metres away. We got this to avoid having to call out the water company every single time the problem shows up on our property. We were surprised at how powerfully this pulled itself down the drain and how effective it was in blasting the partial obstruction, having watched the pros doing it it seemed quite comparable. Like with any pressure system, if a drain were to be full to the brim when this was inserted you would probably experience a tsunami of disgustingness as it blasted its way to the blockage. We will use it for keeping a problem at bay with regular maintenance.
I’m usually compelled to write reviews when I’m particularly happy or disappointed with a purchase. Thankfully, on this occasion, it’s the former. Bought a new house and after 6 months a stench was beginning to eminate from one of our outside drains. Realising that the cause was most likely a blockage of sorts, I went on the hunt for a possible solution. I loathe paying anyone to do anything in my house and will always exhaust the DIY options first (I work in IT so I’m not exactly Bob the Builder!). Found this and, having read the other reviews, decided to risk it. I need not have worried, it did a brilliant job! Cleared what I think were a couple of blockages on it’s way down. All in, it took me about half an hour to feed the full 15m down my drain. A couple of things which I think worked well for me were to pump the Karcher trigger when you hit a blockage and wriggle the pipe in and out. I had one slight problem when trying to pull it out though – the end felt like it had caught on something and no amount of pulling was going to release it. For this, I simply jetted the Karcher trigger a few times, along with gentle pulling and it seemed to come away fine. I also blasted the trigger on the way out, hopefully giving the drain a thorough clean. Certainly beats paying some muppets hundreds of pounds to come out and do the same job. One of the best items I’ve purchased this year.
I give it 4 stars for the simple reason that it does everything that I need. However it might not satisfy every-one. I already have a 5m aftermarket version with a forward facing jet. Whilst this is thicker and heavier than the Karcher version it is also much more flexible and finds its way around bends that the Karcher hose will not negotiate.
I needed a 15m length as I have a 100mm sewer pipe that runs under part of my house. I wanted to make sure that this was clear and could not cover this length with the 5m hose.
Using a K4 Compact Pressure Unit the 15m Karcher pipe flies all the way through this 13m length without any problems whatsoever. In comparison the 5m aftermarket pipe needs encouragement at 5m. I must stress that this is a clear drain with no bends so I have no idea how it would cope with a bend or a blockage. My plan is to use the two pipes to clean my drains every year so that the chances of getting a blockage is minimised.
For a few weeks I had been noticing a faint smell of effluent near the front door of the house and like most men, I ignored it until it stopped being a faint smell and began to smell strongly. There is a manhole just opposite the door so I finally decided to lift the cover and take a look. Inside the gulley there was a partial blockage caused by a small piece of mortar that had dropped off the manhole cover surround. I removed the debris and went through the house to the opposite manhole to give it a flush. No matter how much I flushed down the line, it would not come clean so I decided to buy this Karcher PC15 Pipe Cleaning Kit. See the video for a full review.
The jet is 15 metres long and fits all of the `K’ series pressure washers K2 to K7. The jet just fits onto the bayonet fitting of the lance. It arrives in a fairly small box and when you remove the jet from the packaging it is very tightly coiled. This would make using it difficult and I noticed that other reviewers mentioned uncoiling the hose and leaving it stretched out to straighten. I tried that and it worked a treat, removing all of the kinks completely. Thank you to the reviewers who suggested that!
So my wife and I decided to jet the drains with this kit. We started with a small section at the end of a second manhole that was the drainage from the utility room. In use the jet does pull itself along the pipe, but it regularly needs assistance as it meets with debris or joints in the pipe, however it is very easy to use. The difficult thing is trying to keep the lance trigger pressed whilst manipulating the hose. It can be done, but would be much easier with one person on the hose and another on the gun. We had brilliant results on the utility drains as there was a partial blockage which was cleared with ease. Next we moved onto the gully on the other side of the house where the blockage had been. I jetted under the house and cleared loads of stuff. After a few runs the pipe was clear and clean. I then decided to clean the line from the kitchen that ran into this gully. What a shock I got, there was a fair bit of gunge at first and then a load of congealed fat came running down the line and turned the water white. The smell was appalling! I spent a couple of minutes clearing this line which eventually ran clear and then jetted the outlet of the gully towards the septic tank.
The jet pushes debris backwards towards the user, so it clears as it is moving down and does not push blockages further in, possibly compacting them. This means that when you pull out the jet, it pulls out the debris with it and we ended up with a lot of silt in the gully. The silt you see in the video is only a fraction of what we had to remove. A tip for removing this is to use a wet and dry vacuum which worked a treat for me.
After an hour of cleaning, which was in fact great fun and very satisfying, we had lovely clean and clear drains. What a brilliant bit of kit. It paid for itself the first time we used it and I even used it later on to clear a blocked down pipe which was full of leaves. Please watch the video so that you can see how effective this kit is. If you are thinking of buying this, do not hesitate you will not be disappointed!
I hope you find my review helpful.
Used this on the drains into my septic tank. It was little tricky to do without assistance as the tight coils were hard to handle (I had to stop a couple of times, disconnect the end from the pressure washer, allow it to spring round a few times and then reconnect, else it became too tightly coiled and threatened to fold on itself). It also got caught at one stage (I’m not sure on what) and I had to use drain rods to encourage it away from whatever it had caught on, when no amount of twisting, turning and pulling would free it. All that said, it worked really well for cleaning my drains (I haven’t had to use it for clearing a blockage). I was amazed what came out of the 8 metre run from the kitchen sink – lots of fatty deposits which must have been threatening to block it up – and that’s five years after it was laid. I would buy it again.
I inherited a kitchen drain that blocked frequently in a house I bought, and after I’d finally had enough of sink and washing machine suds spilling out of the drain and over the patio I was ready to call someone in.
That was, until I came across this and decided to give it a go seen as it was about half the price of getting someone in.
Simply attach it to the Karcher lance, drop the other end down and let it do its thing.
Instantly I found it stirring up LOADS of black muck, but it did take a while before I felt like I was getting anywhere. I found that pulling the ‘hose’ backwards gently and letting go for it to push it’s way back through helped.
Then, all of a sudden it shot through my hands and the water it was chucking back was clear – hey presto, the blockage was gone.
It’s expensive, but worth it i think.
I guessed that the purchase price would be less than a commercial drain cleaning company so I took the gamble. Fortunately it paid off and after a bit of messing about got the pipe in the drain, not a clean job, and started the machine. Within about ten minutes the drain was clear, success, bu I was concerned when pulling the pipe back out. Snagged on a few places and I envisaged my new purchase being left down the drain but no, it came out after a bit of TLC and I certainly am pleased with the result. It would appear that this is possibly best with a smaller bore drain pipe such as a down pipe diameter but used correctly I like it. I suggest this pipe may be less of a drain on your pocket than a commercial company.
I used this on a long grill covered drain that runs along the front of my garage.
To give an idea of how bad this drain was, it consists of a channel which is around 15cm deep and 10cm wide covered by a metal grate. The channel up to the exit pipe had dirt up to about the 10cm mark and weeds growing in it. Looking into the pipe itself the situation seemed very much the same from what I could see.
Water would run off VERY slowly and after a heavy downpour it would take the large puddle which had built up in front of the garage (and inside the garage depending how bad it was) around 20 minutes to clear.
Everything in the garage was elevated and during some particularly bad downpours I had actually witnessed around 3cm of water build up in the garage itself. I had called some drain clearing companies and got an initial quote of around 100 with the caveat that if it wasn’t a straight forward job it could cost more.
Took a chance on this device, at the price figured it would be worth it if it worked and wouldn’t break the bank if it didn’t.
In my specific case, I was only able to feed it into the drain system from the entry side. This meant that anything I was pulling out would wash back in again if I didn’t catch it, this immediately made life a little more difficult but obviously not the fault of the product.
After clearing the 10cm or so of silt that was lying at the bottom of the channel, I pushed the device in a touch and turned on the washer. It does indeed slither it’s way up the drain, but very quickly came to a stop in the build up. I spent an hour or so letting it “run” down the drain and slowly drawing it back, each time getting a bit further, then quickly putting a piece of wood in to close off the drain and let me fish out all the crisp packets, sweet wrappers and other random junk it brought out.
Eventually I hit a hard stop, what I can only imagine was some sort of second grate or corner or something it couldn’t get round, as it was about 5m beyond the entry point I couldn’t really tell, and lo and behold the cleaning pipe was stuck! No amount of tugging or turning on and off would free it up. I stood pondering this for a while and visualising me calling the drain cleaning people who would tell me I had to dig my driveway up to remove the now stuck pipe before I finally had some inspiration. On disconnecting the cleaner from my pressure washer and twisting it round and round while pulling gently, eventually it sprang free from whatever it was caught on. There was a little bit of minor damage to the rubber around the end of the pipe but overall intact and working perfectly.
To shorten a subsequently long story, it took several hours of running the device up the drain channel, drawing back, blocking and cleaning, but eventually the entire pipe was clear and water now flows freely away from the drain, and my garage is dry!
In summary, I didn’t have the easy 5 minute experience of a lot of people here, but I suspect I was the first person ever to attempt to clean out this drain (the last lot just stuck some doors on bricks in the garage for storing stuff on) and it was absolutely packed full of junk, sand (off the mono block driveway) and general dirt. It did the job it was intended to do and I think with a regular once a year re-visit it should be a breeze in future.
I can’t imagine any blockage situations being much worse than the one I faced so I would definitely recommend giving this a go before you pay the extortionate amounts that the cleaning companies charge.
Like a few other reviewers I wanted to try and resolve a blocked gutter soakaway (I assume it is a soakaway rather than a pipe leading to the surface water drainage system) outside my house
But I was reticent about a call-out ‘solution’ due to cost/trust issues I have with the kind of companies/people so often dealing with these kind of matters.
Also, I prefer to try and fix things myself as I am in control – and as I suspected this specific problem might not actually be ‘fixable’ wanted to investigate an attempt at sorting it out for the lowest possible financial outlay !
Luckily, I recently had to replace my pressure washer so as the new purchase was, this time, a Karcher I had the option of trying out this pipe/drain clearing (despite the product description, I don’t think it really ‘cleans’ !).
I bought this item and it has worked as advertised.
It cleared out a LOT of silt from the pipework very effectively and I think it’s done about a good a job as could be expected.
Having now waited a couple of weeks and left things to settle down I am now sure it has cleared the problem in hand – so it’s paid for itself already !

One aspect of this tool which might be useful to know (it came as a surprise to me !) is that the jet of water emitted from the brass front-end is ‘backwards’, so if you (like I did) spend ages pushing the thing down the pipe to the detriment of repeated ‘extractions’ I don’t think you’re really giving it the best chance of achieving success.
I think that regular extractions allow whatever might be dislodged to be ‘pushed’ out of the pipe (ie back towards you !) by that backwards water jet; you then repeatedly ‘attack’ the blockage in the same manner to hopefully/eventually ’empty’ the pipe of whatever material might be causing a constriction…
[I don’t think this is made clear enough in the usage info, perhaps because drainage systems normally evacuate themselves by leading on to a drainage pipework system so material can ‘escape’ that way…..]
This process also means that you MUST heed the usage instructions about turning the washer off as the last portion of the tool (which is highlighted with a red collar around the pipe) is extracted, as it will include a major torrent of water courtesy of that backwards water jet and (hopefully !) some ‘accompanying material’ !!!
So, from my experience for dealing with a blocked soakaway, pipe clearing is hopefully achieved by (firstly) those extraction procedures AS WELL AS (I’m sorry to say !) removing the tool and sticking your hand down the pipe to grab the heavier silt which might have accumulated nearer to the opening courtesy of the tool, but which has evaded being removed from the pipe by the water jet…
***
Of course, this tool is aimed at trying to resolve all types of pipe blockages, so even if it had failed to fix this particular issue of mine it might well come in useful in the future for another clearing task – especially as pipe blockages obviously normally allow water to escape along the pipe, making this kind of tool most effective.
I think that the relatively low price of this tool means it is quite an economic purchase and it appears to be robust and built for longevity.
I had a slow blockage for weeks and “Hummed and Hared” about whether to buy or not. When I decided, I again “Hummed and Hared” about if it should be a 7.5 or 15m pipe. Well! it was a 15m pipe I bought, and today I used it with no regrets, it fitted my K2 machine with no troubles and did the job a treat.
Although the fault was not in my garden, it cured the problem, and for the sake of 60 for the pipe, 12 for the rods, and 3.50 for the rubber disk, I now have assurance that any further problems will be put right in just a few minutes in the future. In fact, the longest job was cleaning up afterwards.
I also tried putting the pipe round the bend outside my kitchen, and wow, the rubbish it disturbed at the T bend was enormous such as washing powder lumps etc. With a little difficulty, it also went down the pipe, but I had to help feed it in.
It I sound like a very happy man, I am, it was a job I didn’t want to do, but now it’s done, and done in a permanent manner.
Having read some of the negative reviews, I was a little concerned about this product. When our builders put on our new kitchen they warned us about the long run from the sink to the man hole. It is about 8 m with a 120 degree bend about 2 m from the man hole. This is a very cleverly designed product. It’s a dead simple design but brilliantly effective and being from Krcher it is well made. It does all the work for you. You have to work downstream of the blockage so I fed the device in from the manhole outside our house. It pulls itself into the pipe and all you have to do is occasionally pull it back and then allow it to pull itself back in. There is no need, or point, in trying to push. From other reviews it sounds like people were trying to force it along the pipe. This is not the way to do it. At first it would not go past the bend so at first I became disillusioned but since the water coming down the drain continued to be dirty and fatty I persevered. The issue with bends is that the Krcher pipe is quite stiff so it tends to want to turn a corner. I decided to try rotating the exposed pipe a little at a time to try to align the head correctly so that it would pull its way through past the bend. This eventually did the trick with a bit of jiggling, rotating and patience. On the box they say it will pass 90 degree bends and I am sure it will but one has to be patient.
As it worked its way further along the drain, I also stopped a number of times because as more pipe disappears into the drain you end up with a tighter coil left. All i did was disconnect the pipe from the gun and unwind some more.
I was amazed by the amount, and size, of the lumps of fat that came out and ended up spending about 90 mins giving the pipe a thorough clean. I had great fun (yeah kind of weird) and loved the fact that we are now in charge of our own drains and can throw away all the crap chemical products and rods and things that we tried before this product.
I was using it with a K2 Premium pressure washer.
It did the job. 10m of drain from the kitchen sink bunged with I daren’t think how many years of fat and general “eurgh” is now completely clear without needing to call anyone out.
It wasn’t as easy as I’d hoped and took a couple of hours over a few attempts to gradually work it through. I had envisaged just putting the end into the pipe, pulling the tripper and the whole lot would just whoosh down the drain and the job would be over in a few painless seconds. In reality it stops as soon as it encounters an obstruction and you have to pull it back and release it so that almost “hammers” it’s way through. Also on the downside the nozzle managed to snag itself underground on the end of an incoming pipe which tore off some of the plastic coating and despite being really careful I still managed to slightly kink the hose. It still works OK but I imagine that won’t last forever.
This isn’t suddenly going to turn your little domestic pressure washer into an industrial drain jetter but it may well save you having to get the professionals in.
living in an old house creates numerous drainage problems and last week was no different. The usual 15 metres of flexible prodding didn’t work and I was left contemplating a large call out fee from a local company until this product was mentioned to me. The usual excellent delivery service meant I could enjoy the weekend prodding blocked drains! I plugged the hose into my Karcher washer, fired that up, taped the hose to the rod and prodded away. To my surprise the hose/rod slowly moved the blockage then quickly cleared the lot, all within about twenty minutes. Very impressed and as you guess delighted at the drainage resolution, best 30 odd quid I have spent for a while.
One note of caution, given the design of the head of the hose it is possible it can get snagged, as mine did. It took me longer to remove the drainage rod and hose than it did to clear it, be careful of this.
Other than that this value for money product worked for me, happy prodding.
The drain from our kitchen sink became blocked. We suspect it had been caused by fat. We tried chemicals but they did not work. I think the problem there is that it is difficult sometimes to get the chemicals directly against the blockage. I invested in this product with some scepticism but I found it easy to fit to the lance of the Karcher and then started to feed the hose down about 10 m of pipe. It is best if possible to approach the blockage from the non sink side if that is possible as one does not then have the problem of putting the hose through any bends which might cause kinks. I was able to feed the hose through the pipe partly through manual pressure but it also partly self fed because of the pressure created by the Jets in the hose head which force it forward. It also required a certain amount of patience and about six or seven attempts during which the blockage was gradually cleared. I caused a slight kink but that does not seem to have affected the operation of the product. I do not know whether it would succeed in every situation but it certainly succeeded for my wife and I and our blockage was not an easy one to clear. On that basis I would recommend it. Final point do make sure that you buy a long enough hose. Initially I mistakenly bought the 7.5 m hose which was too short. The last time about four years ago our drain became blocked the call out charge was 95 so this was well worth it.
Must be honest was not sure product would be up to the job mainly because due to the fact I must have one of the smallest jet washers ever made by Karcher. When my drain cleaner arrived you can imagine my surprise when to find the brass fittings and obvious high quality materials used just like their jet washers quality through and through. And as for price not sure if there was a mistake Amazon was almost 50% cheaper than Screwfix who I originally looked to for supply of my Drain Cleaner.
Only problem experienced in us was length of hose; I was cleaning an outside drain blockage and as the 7.5 meters shot along the drain with ease I could not help thinking may be I should have bought an extension. Drain cleared and regular maintenance planned for future I am sure the length will not be an issue when used inside the house.
Very good product well made with quality fittings so if you have a small Karcher jet washer and blocked drains don hesitate buy this product and possibly the extension. (Not sure pressure on my Karcher would have been good enough however knowing Karcher products I’m sure they would prove me wrong.
I’ll be honest, I don’t do reviews. I struggle with the idea that anyone may find what I write remotely interesting.
But I am going to write about this product.
The reason is this…
It’s fantastic.
I’ve been struggling with a blocked soil pipe that runs in the roof space of my house – it has a slow fall and it seems that loo paper had basically turned to papier mache and blocked the toilet. We had been trying for 8 days to clear it – synchronised flushing, pumping the loo with a football, a plunger. I purchased a Silverline metal 10m drain cleaner (don’t bother) and that had failed to solve the problem. I had purchased from Screwfix a load of piping and attachments because the only way I could see to remove the blockage was to break into the pipe, remove the blockage manually and fit replacement piping.
I determined to do this last Saturday and in an idle moment on Friday I looked at Amazon and found this attachment. I ordered it. It arrived via Amazon Prime (It’s great) on Saturday morning.
I put this to work on my soil pipe by gaining entry through a sink waste outlet – switched it on and it made its way up the pipe – 10 minutes later I was putting it all back in its box – job done!
So what I had been struggling with for a week and a half was solved in minutes and it was not anywhere near as a difficult job as I thought it was going to be. Fantastic.
This is one product I would recommend that you have if you have problems with your drains – I squirted it through all mine Saturday afternoon and I’m now confident that’ll they’ll be fine for a long time (and if they’re not I can fix it).
There you go…. I never thought I would get excited about a product for cleaning drains.
This is worth every penny!
For the past 10 years I’ve been prodding the sewage drains at the back of our house to keep them flowing. There is nothing wrong with the sewage drains, just some neighbour who is too lazy to use the bin (neighbours from hell). The manhole at the back of our house usually blocks up from baby wipes, bandages, rubber gloves, plastic bags, washing-up cloths, you name it, I’ve seen it in our manhole. Our house is the last house of the sewage system of 4 houses before it goes to the street, so I end up prodding it all through every 6 months or so. Last summer it was just too bad and had to get the professionals in to clear the pile of junk.
Yesterday, it was the same again, there was a mountain of baby wipes visible in the manhole. Wasn’t sure if this drain Karcher Drain Kit (Drain Rat) would do the job, but it did. As I couldn’t even get to the hole because of all the junk, I inserted the pipe from the other end where it was clear and let the “Drain Rat” shoot through the pipe. It did need a bit of guiding to begin with, but by constantly gently pulling the pipe backwards and letting it shoot forwards again to break up the junk, it cleared this totally blocked sewage pipe, slowly but surely. Job done in just under an hour. This would normally have taken me an entire day to do with drain rods.
Cleaning the Drain Rat is easy, take one of those plastic black dustbins and let the Drain Rat drop into it as you pull it out, add some water, some disinfectant, … all clean to store away.
I’ve got the 7.5M length, a 10M length would have been ideal for our sewers. Might invest in the 15M one to cover a greater distance. Having said that, 7.5M is ideal for indoor problems, but for outside a 15M one would be better.
The pipe is flexible enough to guide it through any pipe, and at the same time stiff enough to get it in the manhole pipe 5 feet below the surface.
It is worth it to buy it in advance to have it at hand for those unexpected blockages!
We don’t have a high pressure on our water supply, but the Karcher machine does build up the pressure very nicely, so yes, even if your water pressure is low, the machine will do the job!
This is a must have for every household, and would certainly recommend it!!!
