- Easy to use with 4 automatic settings

- Also blends without heating
Make delicious home-made soup with no mess or fuss. Our Touchscreen Soup Maker cuts, blends, cooks, simmers and stirs your soup from start to finished perfection, all in one jug.
How does it work?
Simply add your prepared ingredients, select one of the 4 pre-programmed functions and 30 minutes later you can be tucking into tasty, freshly-made soup.
There are automatic settings for rustically chunky or smooth and creamy soup and, if you want to make your own recipes, the temperature can be set from 75 to 100°C and the timer up to 60 minutes, and three blend speeds – low, medium or high – let you get it exactly the way you want it. And it’s really easy to use, too: just make your selection on the touchscreen LED control panel. There’s a countdown timer to let you know when your soup is going to be ready and it beeps when stirring, when cooking is finished and it’s keeping warm.
Not just for soup
It also does much more than make soup. One of the other automatic settings let you cook and blend sauces in as little as 20 minutes, and the ice setting blends without heating to create nutritious smoothies, milkshakes, baby food and cold dips and sauces.
Other features
Quick and easy to clean thanks to its auto-clean setting and non stick heating plate, it comes with a cleaning brush so you can reach right underneath the stainless steel blade. The heavy duty, durable glass jug makes it easy to check your ingredients while cooking and because it blends in short, gentle bursts of slow stirring it’s easy to achieve whatever consistency you like. You can add extra ingredients during cooking using the removable measuring cup in the lid and it comes with a selection of recipes to help you get started.
2 litre glass jug with 1.4 litre working capacity for hot liquids and 1.75 litre capacity for cold.
Jug 2.6kg. 24 x 19 x 44cm H. Heating element 1000W. Blender motor 500W.

I bought this so I wouldn’t have to spend ages in the kitchen making soup. I am a little disappointed in it to be honest. Chunky does not mean chunky. The instructions aren’t the best and the self clean doesn’t get it all clean. The spout does not pour easily and can be messy when serving. Plus point – it does look good in my kitchen!
Love this. We had a problem with the first one but they dealt with right away. Makes delicious soup
Liked that the jug is made of glass disliked the lid as the flip up part of lid seems a bit flimsy but time will tell
I don’t normally do reviews, but this has been a great purchase! It is so easy to make your own healthy soups at more or less the touch of a button. We’ve made sweet potato, potato, apple & leek, tomato so far with surplus veggies from the cupboard and each one has been lovely. The whole thing is just a breeze, and no more mucking up 2 or more pans to sweat off onions and then transfer to the blender etc. Very happy indeed with this and I have been recommending it to others already.
This is so much easier to clean than my previous machine. Well made and capable of making either smooth or chunky soup.
Used once. So you’re asking for info after one go. Satisfactory for.first use
Made lots of soup and it all tase lovely and it keeps hot as well very very pleased with this machine cleans well
Bought this as a gift for a visually impaired family member.
She said it’s fabulous! A very clever machine, Straight forward to use, safe with no handing until the soup is ready.
20 minute period of keeping the soup hot after cooking is great too.
The self clean option is Excellent.
She is very impressed.
I particularly liked the fact that it is glass – as you can see the food cooking and can blend it without having to take the lid off. I also like the fact that its very easy to use., and i feel more confident making the soup in a glass jug rather than a metal one (of which i have had 3) – as the soup does taste better. The only thing i found a little harder to do was clean the bottom of the jug – which had got some food stuck to the bottom – it was a bit tricky using the special brush provided – but i managed in the end; other than that its the best i have bought.
Makes 5 big cups of soup. Make for home worker’s lunch every day.
Use all left over vegetables with an onion and top up with some broth and Marigold veg mix.
Hard to clean, only used a few times and keeps burning. Followed instructions.
Wanted to make soup and now I can. Brilliant buy.
Very quick and easy to use. I made the tomato soup with extra spices. Beware you don’t need anywhere near the amount of water stated in the recipe I used half the amount and would use less next time, you can always add more if needed through the top at anytime. Self clean doesn’t reach the top of the jug so you have to use the brush but as it’s a glass jug it didn’t stick so not a problem just need to remember not to put the jug in water! Jug is very heavy so needs two hands to lift when full. Very pleased though and would recommend.
Having bought two other soupmakers, which I liked, I got this after a friend’s recommendation. Can’t fault it. One doesn’t need to chop the vegetables nearly so small as with other soupmakers, the machine works well, it’s possible to add ingredients during the process, the process is visible through the glass jug, if soup isn’t the texture you want there is an additional blending option, and it keeps the soup warm once it is cooked. Sauce function also excellent. Also does ice crushing though I haven’t tried this yet. One warning – like the other soup makers I’ve had this does *not* go into the dishwasher… but the autoclean function is excellent. Lakeland customer service is also outstanding.
Good machine, makes quick soup, self clean is ok but you need to wash the lid and clean the top couple of inches both inside and outside of the Heavy glass jar without getting the bottom section with the electronics wet. Self clean is also very noisy.
Bought as a present for my husband he loves i
The digital time device isn’t working. had to return this item.
The product is lovely but there was no cleaning brush with i
We’ve enjoyed soups from this fabulous machine for a couple of years. Very easy to use. We never throw left over veg away or compost it now -it all gets frozen and when the accumulation reaches 600 grams it gets defrosted and bunged into the soup maker along with a couple of veg stock cubes or one veg and one chicken stock cube, some freshly ground black pepper and a small chopped onion fried with crushed garlic, if there wasn’t already any in the frozen veg. Add water till it reaches the max mark, switch on and relax while it works for you. Half an hour later, four decent portions of delicious and often unique soup. Just brilliant.
The quantities above come from a carrot and coriander soup recipe in “Soup Maker Recipe Book: 100 Delicious & Nutritious Soup Recipes” available on Amazon -really good inspiration for different ideas. The butternut squash and leek recipe is a winner and we’re never without portions of the carrot and coriander in our freezer, ready for a quick healthy lunch.
We tend not to use the saute function (which works well) as we prefer to fry in a pan an have more control over that bit. But no problem in relinquishing half an hour of stirring.
I also have to add that Lakeland’s customer service is the best ever. After two years our soup maker developed a crack in the silver base of the jug. Via Amazon I asked for an exchange as it was within the 3 year warranty. Lakeland very promptly offered me a replacement without so much as a photo for evidence. The replacement arrived and, very unluckily, was also damaged. I followed the return instructions and packed up the new one. Again they very swiftly sent out a second replacement but to add to the run of bad luck, while waiting for this to arrive, I dropped my original jug onto a tiled floor and it smashed into pieces. I contacted customer services to explain and offered to pay for the replacement, as there was no way to prove i hadn’t already broken it. I was quite amazed when they said not to worry and that they didn’t want payment, but to take care returning the broken jug!
I don’t think I’ve ever felt so well looked after and even cared about by a customer service department. Well done Lakeland!
Oh the joy of throwing in equal amount of flour and butter then a pint of either milk for bechamel or beef to get the perfect gravy has made my life so easy and the soup is perfect also easy to clean having had soup makers in the past that didn’t last this was definitely worth the extra cost.
Easy to make super soup but will not saut onion etc. This is the best soup-maker and cooks any meat by boiling it. Tricky to clean. Buy direct from Lakeland for 99.99 rather than Amazon’s 129.99
Great product, but after a few weeks of use there was a crack in the mixer and I sent it back. Really disappointed as I thought it was a brilliant product.
Really impressed with how easy this soup maker is to use, and how easy it is to use its self clean function afterwards. You can choose between chunky or smooth soups. It takes 30 mins to make one soup. And then 5 mins to clean it. I would highly recommend this product.
My previous machine died after a few uses, so I got this one. Can’t fault it so far.
The automatic settings are fine, but I like to be able to control the machine.
For example, if 2 tsps. of slaked cornflour don’t thicken sufficiently, it’s so easy to add more & adjust the cooking time.
I’ve used slivers of raw chicken, bacon lardons, small quantity of raw mince & they’ve been cooked okay
Only thing I would like to see is a saut function for the Maillard effect – but I’ve got batches of fried onions in the fridge that work really well.
Self-clean is a doddle – Hub is really pleased with this model !
I love my soup maker. Used a lot in the past winter.
Superb easy to follow instructions. A bit heavy for moving about.
Excellent product. A little on the heavy side. Easy to understand instructions. This is a work surface stable
After trying three other soup makers which all blew the electrics in the house, I bought this before lockdown and what a blessing it has been. Any ‘tired’ veg in the fridge gets put in it along with herbs and spices of choice. I always use boiling water along with my stock cube of preference just to give it a ‘head start’. Have used it for fruity milk shakes and now going to order one as a birthday gift for someone who I know makes lots of soup but complains about the mess on the cooker etc. Happy souping!
Pro’s; This is the best soup maker I have ever used, it’s fast and efficient, easy to clean and quite frankly I can’t recommend it enough.
Con’s; It’s heavy but that is a small niggle.
Update; The heating element burnt out after 13 months, I contacted Lakeland who arranged a new replacement and collection of the faulty one within 48hours. I have never had such exceptional customer service, ever!
I really like this soup maker, it’s quick, easy and yummy. Thank you.
I like the soup maker but it’s not perfect
PROS
* Delicious smooth soups
* Looks fantastic
* Touchscreen is beautifully made and simple to use
* I love that I can tip in a bag of frozen peas, stock cube, fried onions and seasoning and in 30 mins i have a delicious smooth soup to eat
* I eat more healthily as a result
* It feels like it’s made to last
CONS
* Cleaning function good but still requires a lot of hand washing which is tricky as its heavy and cant be put in dishwasher, I have trouble with the smell of the stock cube lingering in the jug which might taint fruit smoothies
* The jug is heavy when full
* The chunky soup isn’t very chunky
* It can’t saut so I tend to fry onions/garlic first otherwise the flavour of the soup is a little raw. Parsnip soup didnt taste great as the parsnips tasted a bit raw but the settings can be adjusted
* Would have to repeat twice if having guests over for dinner
* Although well made its a little expensive
Fabulous machine, love mine – yes the jug is heavy when full but the results are brilliant, takes all the hard work out of soup making.
Love it, but usually set for a longer cook time other wise it’s a bit under cooked
I had a few soup makers that all broke and were poor quality before paying that bit extra for this one. I can’t even explain the difference. It’s like driving a Ford all your life, then suddenly driving a Ferrari. Everything about this is perfect! It works well, doesn’t leak, doesn’t burn anything to the base, is EXTREMELY easy to clean (and even has a self-cleaning mode). I can’t fault it at all.
Love this soup mixer and maker. It is made from high-quality materials and is cheap for 125. Super easy to use and clean. The Glas jar is heavy based it has a heating element and also very robust. The digital touch controls are very sleek and also easy to use.
Soups are fantastic and nice and smooth
Ice crushing make sure you use smaller ice
I have recommended this product to family and they have bought this unit a must-have in any kitche
This is such a wonderful Soup maker. My daughter {for whom it was bought for Christmas} absolutely loves this item. She has made some wonderful receipts and enjoys making good wholesome soups for her ten year old son {who is usually quite a nightmare to feed} willingly gobbles up all the soup she makes…….Why? Simply because he cannot actually see what vegetables he is eating! All made from one of the three settings….fine, medium and chunky, it really is hard to decipher exactly what IS inside the soup……….and they all taste good! May just treat myself to one soon! Absolutely recommended with no hesitation!
Totally useful kitchen appliance. Took some time to decide whether I might make full use of a Soup maker and then which appliance to buy. Well for me this is the one! Sturdily built and so easy to use. I really do use it regularly and the soups are excellent. It’s easy to clean (which is so important) and well worth the little extra cost.
Very good quality which , of necessity, makes it a little heavy to use,l otherwise makes good soup and the self cleaning mode works well.Very pleased with the product..
Arrived on the day promised and was well packed. This is a robust soup maker and quite easy to use although so far, I have only made soup. I look forward to making sauces and smoothies in the future.
So glad I bought it. You see what it’s cooking and you can add things I’m whenever you like it’s brillia
Amazing one very very good machine , easy to use , it is worthy
Great product, and so easy to use. I like it so much that I think I might even take this with me when I go away for 6 mths, as many apartments abroad don’t have hobs/ovens and electric products are expensive. I ended up with two Lakeland soup makers, as I was having jaw surgery and received one as a present as well as buying one myself, so I returned this one. But only because I had two! Customer services, delivery and return were excellent. I have never experienced a more customer friendly and professional service, really was second to none.
I was worried about paying so much for a soup maker but so glad I bought this one from Lakeland, it's brilliant, can't recommend it highly enough, and worth every penny !!!
I found it to be excellent, tried the lemonade recipe, absolutely deliciciouus… Pam
Amazing. I now have soup every single day. So easy to do. I wake up, throw some veg and stock into the soup maker, press start…go get ready. 30 mins later fresh soup ready to take with me to work. Best appliance I’ve bought. Then either leave it to stay warm or put it on auto clean. Just effortless.
Not sure if I will get on with this over time.
It is incredibly robust though this makes it also both very heavy and large on the kitchen work-surface. I just hope it lasts a lifetime and provides me with nutrition and healthy soups into my later years! I do like the glass jug. All those plastic parts (breakability) and non stick surfaces (health issues) are avoided. It is, however, a large item, not that easy to clean as it cannot be submerged in water, and is reliant on electronics (which I fear may be less robust in the longer term than a simple mechanical off/on button!)
Forgive the slightly jaded review: I find it hard to believe how easily many items break nowadays. I hope this one is here for the longer term.
Ummed and aahhed about this before buying because of the price, but am simply blown away by how good this is!
It’s beautifully made, has the air and feel of a very high quality product. It’s tall, without taking up too much counter space, but is very solid and very stable, exactly what you want with hot liquids. The jug is thick quality glass, and is heavy when full (as all of them are), but the handle is well sized and balanced. (The booklet plays safe and says to use oven gloves to lift and pour, but I have no trouble lifting and pouring one one handed without the need for gloves. The glass is hot of course when the soup is made, but the handle remains cool and your fingers are guarded from touching the glass – so no problem at all!) It sits on the base easily, the lid fits really well, the removable section in the lid (for adding herbs later) clips in really well, its just superb.
To use is an absolute doddle. Pop the ingredients in, use the touchscreen (so sensible in a kitchen!) to select ‘chunky’ or ‘smooth’ and touch the start button – half an hour later it’s done, and if you’re not quite ready for it it automatically keeps it hot for the next 20 minutes. To clarify – it keeps it ‘piping’ hot for that time, but the jug is so thick and the lid seal is good, in reality it stays hot for much longer than that – lovely to come back to for seconds or thirds a little later! You can also set it manually if you want, I’ve never needed to, the auto modes work so well. Unlike the old Morphy Richards one I used, (which kept blowing the trips) you can see exactly what’s going on, and just touch the button for a little extra blending if needed. Perfect.
The results are just great! When I started, I worked through some of the supplied recipes, and was initially concerned about putting a sliced chicken breast in without cooking it first – didn’t need to be, it cooks absolutely beautifully! Every soup I’ve done has been excellent (even when I’ve got a bit creative with the ingredients!) and no question about being properly cooked. This morning, 2 leeks, three potatoes, a chicken ‘stockpot’ capsule and a veggie one, a good rattle of the black pepper grinder and a dollop of creme fraiche – three minutes to prepare, add the water, pop the lid on, press the button, 30 mins later it was poured into my big flask and I have soup with me all day at work. Just marvelous, and so quick to use I can do it in the mornings.
Cleaning, also, couldn’t be easier. A litre of water, a drop of fairy liquid (No more than that though! oops!) and press the auto clean – it heats and spins and sorts itself out – 5 minutes later, pour it away and rinse it – job done. It comes with a brush for cleaning – tbh that just sits in the drawer unused. The non stick base is perfect – nothing has ever stuck to it. The blades are stainless and also always spotless.
Basically – over the moon with this, this has to be one of the most satisfying purchases I’ve ever made. I love how easy it is, pop it all in, touch the screen, walk away, 30 minutes and its done. The touchscreen is excellent, and makes it all so easy to keep clean and looking smart. No negatives at all, not even about the price – this is quality kit and worth every penny.
This is a great product. Simple to use and has an excellent self-cleaning function. Powerful blender ensures super smooth soup, but you can also set it to make a chunky soup. Looks stylish and is very easy to clean. Doesn’t take up too much space on the worktop. Feels robustly made too. I can’t fault this product. I did lots of research before purchasing, and I’m glad I picked this one.
