Bought this for my girlfriend and she really enjoyed making it. Nice to have lego kits aimed at adults. Instructions easy to follow as always with lego, and it looks great all finished and on display on our shelf.
Started getting into Lego with the boyfriend. Turned it into an activity we do together now and again. It was so fun and a bonding experience. Changed the flowers to the pink ones, as they looked better. Would recommend:)

Such a great set to build! Lovely design and very well thought out. Took about 1.5 hours, and was a great relaxing mindfulness activity. Not a difficult set, but still enjoyable. Very good price on amazon too, and genuine Lego product.
Bought this for my son (21) and he enjoyed building it and we were all impressed by the quality of the design and the finished look- it really is a beautiful, authentic ornament! You can change it to have leaves or pink blossom- he made it with the blossom and it’s stunning. It was on sale when I bought it so excellent value. Highly recommend!
Brought this as a Christmas gift for the Wife, she recently assembled it and is on display downstairs. It is really nice on the side in the living room, it was slightly difficult to build the tree as the main branches aren’t attached very well, but other than that the rest of the tree was easy enough to assemble. we went for the cherry blossom pink leaves look rather than the bonsai tree green leaves look. both are really nice but that pink ones are really good.
the tree is actually a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be the tree stands in a pot and then that’s on a plinth to give the tree some more height but the tree itself is quite small it isn’t too bad but I would recommend putting it on a small unit or on a small shelf rather than a big unit as it can get a little lost.
it’s still a lovely addition to our home lego we have, the wife enjoyed building and the tree looks great where it is.
This is beautiful and so much fun building this. Makes a stunning decorative piece after it’s done. You can change it with the seasons but I love the pink frogs. They’re so fun!
He really struggled with the browns being so similar which I agree with when I looked with him the illustration could have been a little easier or bagged differently.
Great you can change with the greenery or pink petals he went for 50/50

Build instructions:
I was interrupted with phone call and missed out a brick and the trunk kept breaking, so I had to go back over the instructions again and it worked later.
The contents comes in labelled bags which is handy. The pot and stand do look realistic in Lego version.
It would be nice if Lego sold the coloured Palm tree leaves to make a maple etc.
It is keeping retired relative and Bonsai fan happy. Recommended for most ages. Although it says 18+ Adult, I am sure a teenager really into Lego would be able to make the tree too aged 13 upwards.

Asks me to rate flavour? This is non-applicable. Not into biting into Lego bricks, it says its made with recycled plant material into the plastic, but there is nothing edible about it and I am not going to even try to find out.
looks great, can chose to have green or pink at top the tree. we did it both ways and both are cute but left it pink beacuse its colourful and the pink frogs are adorable.
i love that they reuse bits from previous kits in this, so yes the pink flower thingys are tiny frogs – or slugs if on side. also theres a lil brown frog.

very hard to switch from one grren to pink top as everything just breaks, thing whole time we took off the green and put on the pink i had to near fully rebuild the trunk 4 times.
warning, slight downside of kit, the tiny ‘bricks’ that make up the stones at base of bonsi tree are all loose n small so be careful when moving the tree. i knocked the ‘stones’ over twice and on 2nd time they scattered all over table and floor… im a clutz when come to handling such delecate things lol so am super thanxfull i managed carry it home with out dropping it.
so have patience and have fun coz it is worth it and looks amazing once made
As always Lego have smashed it with the look of this set, easy to follow instructions, having built a fair few Lego sets I can honestly say this is the first one I have considered getting a Lego glue to hold the tree together as it can easily be knocked and all come tumbling down. Great product as always
Having visited the lego store and seen all of the different models it looked too fun to pass up. The design of this is very clever, how the trunk is built with shapes and angles, the ‘soil’ and frogs (yes frogs!) for pink petals.
The pieces come split into smaller bags to ease building…however actually found it more fun to mix together and search for the pieces. Also extends the build time (built over a couple of evenings together)
The display base and pot are very simple to build, the trunk takes a little more time and patience but worth it for sure. You have a choice of green leaves or pink (frog) petals), and since there are enough pieces to make both you can quickly switch between the two (or combine them if you want to also!)
Instructions are clear, and you can also download so two people could work on different parts at once if you want.
As a first lego set since being a lot younger I would definitely recommend

I’m never surprised by the quality of LEGO sets because they are great every time, the seller delivered it straight away, no complaints at all. Expensive as always but that’s LEGO.

Once it was put together and on display it really does stand out. I nearly bought the light set to go with it as well however I don’t think that it needs it.

A present for the wife for mothers day from our son, but she is not a Lego fan, so I built it. Was an easy build, but there was an issue.
The main trunk is very thin, and the weight of the top half makes it difficult to stay on either with the supports included.
Saying that, it looks very good.
Lovely wee set. The branches are very bendy which makes putting the frogs on a but frustrating until you get the hang of it. Looks cute once it’s all together.
Looks fantastic and is a great Lego model for any adult to make. You can make it either in pink or green and both just look absolutely fantastic

I bought this for my wife as a quirky Valentines gift and she loved it. I’m usually the one who receives various LEGO sets for Birthdays and Christmas so this was a bit of a left field idea from me. It took her a day of staring at the box before she whipped it open and set to work. She was finished in a couple of hours and now has the pink frog leaf version sat on the shelf behind her while she works on videos calls and her colleagues love it.
From a distance at a glance you’d assume it’s a really tree for the size that it is so I’d highly recommend if you just want something to put on the shelf as a conversation piece. Especially when people look closer at the pink leaves 😉

Bought as a gift for person who loves bonsai & Lego! Recipient enjoyed assembling the kit and the result is nice enough to display in the home.
This is a beautiful lego set and perfect for any plant/tree lover. It is rather fiddly as most lego sets are but with some patiencey 12 year old put It together all on her own and has even changed it from pink blossoms to green leaves a few times without it breaking. This is definitely worth the buy and Is lovely as a decoration in any room.

The “blossoms” of the cherry side of the tree are rather startling though, being hundreds of little pink frogs. Fortunately though, this was received with great amusement and confusion to family members.
Really good quality and the end result was beautiful. My Mum loved it and enjoyed putting it together. It looks lovely in her room.
This was a Christmas pressie & having seen one on display in the Lego Shop thought it looked good.
After several minutes I found my reading glasses as there are alot of very small parts & the instructions were blurry as I couldn’t read them.
It is fiddly but the end result is great.
You have a choice of cherry blossom or green leaves. Nice touch Lego!
I asked my dog which way I should go & he wasn’t interested in the slightest. He just walked off into the lounge as he should have been out on his daily stroll…..
I went blossom & it looks great..

My partner loved this gift. But I think lego is just way over priced
Da ich ein Klemmbaustein Freund bin und ich noch Deko fr meinen Schreibtisch im Bro gesucht habe, dachte ich mir ich hole mir den kleinen Bonzai.
Die Verpackung kam leider ein wenig beschdigt an. Da mir sonst die Verpackung egal ist muss ich es hier fr die Sammler und Wiederverkufer erwhnen.
Ich denke aber dass ich einfach nur Pech hatte.
Das Produkt an sich sieht gut aus und ist echt gut fr alle die keinen grnen Daumen haben so wie ich, die aber ein wenig grn auf dem Schreibtisch oder dem Regal haben wollen.
Einziges Monko ist der Preis.
Empfehle den Bonzai nur reduziert zu kaufen da ein Groteil der Teileabzahl auf sie kleinen 1×1 Teile draufgehen.
Im Angebot definitiv eine Empfehlung sonst etwas zu teuer.

Era un p che volevo acquistarlo, mi piaceva l’idea di avere una pianta fatta di mattoncini.
Imballo perfetto, la scatola esterna non aveva un graffio. Ci tengo a dire che non sono un esperto di montaggio Lego( sono anni che nn monto un modellino) e quindi in base a questa premessa mi capitato solo 2 volte di trovarmi in difficolt nel montaggio. Ci ho impiegato 2,5 h per montarlo. Il risultato finale molto appagante. veramente bello!

She loved it haven’t seen it made yet but I’m sure as always with lego it’ll be fab.
Nice sized, good looking lego set. Delivery was quick. Nice to be able to choose if it stays green or you choose blossom.
My older brother (21) is really into Lego so I bought him this for Christmas, parents of younger children be warned if you get this as it’s more of a tricky build!
My son was so happy when he opened it. He always wanted a bonsai tree and this was the best way to get him one.
It’s I really nice and relaxing build you can zone out to building. I love the “light purple” frogs all over it. If you’re really obsessive the instructions say to put 50x of each colour of “pebble” but it comes with 51x of each (picture of spares added)

Although this is an adult Lego kit, my 11yo needed minimal assistance to build this kit.

A nice little Lego set which can be completed within a couple of hours (or days depending how long and quick you are building).
The only issue Ives found is the leafs look less filling compared to the box picture. You can move around the leafs but still doesn’t look as filling.
Overall, not a bad Lego build and does look nice when built.
