This is a lovely little house to build with a secret door to the side and plenty if characters come with it well worth the money
Original Lego set at a great price. Lots of nice playable features such as under the stairs room and letters down the chimney. It has features from different books all in the one set.
My godson loved it his mum enjoyed putting it togethe
Bought theis LEGO set for my grandsons Christmas he loved it he is nine and he built it with no problems.
Got for m 6 year old to do, was a little worried because it says 6+ but he did this with ease, Loves it!
As expected – Lego always impresses me with how how it comes togethe
Although at first look this just looks like the Harry Potter house, the level of detail inside is very good.
Unfortunately, my nephew was into Harry Potter last year, and it’s only Ninjago this year!
Ss lwats grrat quality and fun for the kids. Good playability.
In contrast with the previous version of 4 Privet Drive released as a tie-in with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in 2002, this set from the 2020 wave of the LEGO Harry Potter line strives for a much more representative model as to the design shown in the film series. The build is distinctive and easily recognisable, though right off the bat, I must admit a sadness that since this is just the front of the house, we don’t get a LEGO build of the conservatory complete with an Aunt Marge figure
However, what we do get is fantastic. Fans of the original two films will be spoilt for choice as to which one they’d like to act out first! Will it be the arrival of Harry’s letters through the chimney (as a play feature allows you to pull a cog on the side of the building and send letter pieces flying in under the mantelpiece) or will you re-enact Ron’s rescue of Harry in his flying Ford Anglia, complete with Dobby dropping Petunia’s prize pudding on someone’s head? Very little seems to have been missed, with an abundance of very small details such as the interior of the cupboard under the stairs or the addition of the Privet Drive signage beside the door.
Potter fans will find this set to be an unexpectedly interesting build given the Muggle nature of the house. I myself had a very pleasant afternoon putting this one together and for the current asking price of about 40-50, I’d say it’s an absolute bargain for the amount of movie accuracy found within the build, alongside the included mini-figures of Harry, Ron, Dobby and the entire Dursley clan. Happy building to you!
My son is 6 years old and he loves Lego. I can fully recommend this house. I love it and my son too!
My boy want to play with this.
I have to buy.
Price is best.
Thanks.
Detail amazing. Granddaughter loves it. Only put 4 for assembly coz not sure I could do it, too complicated for me. Age 8+ and she is just 9 and had managed with a tiny bit of help from dad. Starting car today.
It took my a few hours and works really well ! Coming from a person who loves Lego I recommend ! Really good instructions and easy to follow.
Got it during sale (42% off). Looks very nice on my shelf. Stickers can be slightly fiddly to place correctly, but that’s to be expected. I love it.
Very good product, very detailed with lots of small surprises in every small room, my daughter loves it! A great gift for HP fans!
Bought this for a christmas present grandaughter (9) very pleased. Very good desig
Bought this to add to the lego Harry Potter collection. It hasn’t been opened yet but I am sure it will be loved by my childre
This looks value for money. Plenty of figures. All round very good product. Hope our Grandson enjoys playing with it.
You get a lot of Lego in this pack! Very good value for money.
The “build” was impressive, taking several hours.
Great fun.
Bought for my Grandson. Got it at a great price. Next day delivery. Very happy.
Bought to put away for Grandson. I was surprised just how much is in the box, and it has a nice weight to it, so not flimsy at all.
Very good and sturdy build. Lots of good details and play features. Also loads of great references to the film. Very much enjoyed.
Bought this for a grandson who has just started Harry Potter books. He’s 7 and he loved it and found it easy to build
Purchased Harry Potter House very happy with it and great price too .
Absolutely brilliant, purchased as a gift. It’s been built and it is amazing, so clever and the attention to detail is spot on.
I really like this set, I bought it for my 7 year old daughter who was delighted with it.
It took a few sttings to complete with the minifgures nicely spaced between bags. It’s not an especially fiddly build apart from the climbing plant on the outside. There are some lovely touches the window is really nicely done as are the chimney and cupbaord under the stairs.
Only down side is the use of stickers on the Ford Anglia. Stickers are always a swine to place nicely so it really depends on your level of OCD. A minor negative in an otherwise lovely set.
Bought for sons birthday and he loves it easy to build and hours of fun to be had
Granddaughter who is nearly 9 assembled it all on Christmas Day and loved it .Quite expensive as it’s about Harry Potter but worth it .
This is a Amazing Lego set would recommend for a potter fa
I saw this was on special offer and snapped it up as an Xmas present, its Lego so buying early isn’t a problem. I dont know how difficult it is to assemble as it’s still in it’s box but I would be most surprised if there’s any trouble when it’s built at Xmas. I’ve never had problems with Lego as they are red hot on quality control. My daughter is Harry Potter mad and is going to love it.
The item looks great , it’s for a present so I cant say anymore until the person has received and assembled it .
A present for daughter, she loves lego and Harry Potter. A perfect present.
Keeps my grandchild focused and quiet for a long time. Help concentration.
This is one of the iconic Lego sets of the Harry Potter series. I really enjoyed building it and the detail it has with the “room” under the stairs, the letters coming out of the chimney that can be actioned with the mechanism and the window that “falls off” when Ron’s car comes real fun building and playing with this set but also is a great decorative item to have on display!
My 6 year old daughter loves Lego. She likes Harry Potter as well, so I don’t think I can do too wrong with this. Happy to leave a review based on not having even opened it yet as you know what you are getting with Lego. Now I just need to hide it for the next 6 months.
Great build for 7-9 and really fun when complete. Love the letterbox!
I love the minifigures and the accurate small details, I wouldn’t recommend at retail price but at this price it’s 100% worth it 🙂
Never disappointed with Lego. Bought for grandson’s 9th birthday next week.
I purchased this for my granddaughter’s birthday. She chose it and it really fulfilled her expectations. She liked the fact that it took a long time to do so I think the entertainment value is high. She’s aged 9.
Good representation of Harry Potter characters etc but thought quite expensive for lego. Quite complex so buy age appropriately.
As with all the Harry Potter lego, a little over priced and lacking in stability, but still very entertaining.
My daughter sat and built this in a day, she never ever gets on and completes heavy tasks but this she did really great.
I have glued the staircase spindles and looser bits but its a lot more sturdier than the Hogwarts set we have.
Well researched product. Lego get it right time after time. My 8 yr old grandson who is terminally ill with a brain tumour loves his Lego. At present he is building the Millenium Falcon, the amount of detail that they put into something like this is absolutely amazing. He as several of the Harry Potter series buildings which he has displayed in his room.
You can’t go wrong with Lego, the construction (I’ll call them maps) maps are really quite easy to follow.
What can I say – Lego enthusiasts would find this model as enjoyably challenging as any of similar complexity and our six year old managed to complete it as an undoubtedly welcome relief from home schooling!
This was fun to put together, and at the end Privet Drive just looks really great. It is a great addition to my ever growing collection of Harry Potter merchandise. Would definitely recommend Harry Potter fans to purchase this.
SOOO FUN TO BUILD! I loved assembling this, really easy and I loved all the nooks and crannys this specific piece had! I was so happy the Ford Anglia came with this, awesome!!!! Definitely one of my favourite pieces to build!
Bought as a present. The recipient is very pleased with it.
My son loves Harry Potter and lego, and hasseveral of these sets. Bought this one as part of his birthday presents and he is delighted with it. The characters look fab and the little bits and pieces add to the quality. He likes making them and displaying them and they look awesome
My son found this great fun to build. The flying letters feature and cupboard under the stairs make this a little more quirky. Lots of figures too.
Lovely product, looks fab made up plus kept my son quiet for a while!
Great product price is high becasue its harry potter son loved i
This Harry Potter LEGO set is a must have for fans of Harry Potter, and LEGO fans obviously.
In terms of size, it doesn’t take up a huge amount of space on my bookshelf, and could easily fit on a desk for display without taking up too much space.
My 3 year old son and I build this together over the course of a few hours – and as always we had a great time building it together – but obviously with all Lego sets, children of a young age should be supervised – but to really have fun, adults should be joining in anyway!!
This set comes with some great mini figs – Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, Dudley, Harry, Ron & Dobby, and it contains a multitude of play features, including an opening hatch to find Harry’s Bedroom under the stairs, as well as a secret slot to put the Hogwarts letters, which then, with a twist of a knob, ‘magically’ appear from the fireplace – providing a recreation of one of the most memorable moments in the entities Harry Potter franchise.
It’s nice to have little details such as a Daily Prophet tile which is printed rather than a sticker – although there are a few stickers within this set – which is always a little bugbear of mine – but that’s how it goes with most Lego sets.
I’ve knocked a single star off for a few tiny reasons – reasons that most people will not be bothered by, but they just grind led a little with me.
This set is set over two time periods during the Harry Potter Saga, 1&2 (or Philosophers Stone & Chamber of Secrets) – due to the inclusion of features from both films – ie the bedroom under the stairs and the Hogwarts letters (in both printed brick form that come down the chimney & the stickers on the front door that show the letterbox crammed full of Hogwarts acceptance letters) from the first film, and the inclusion of Dobby (& levitating cake – although there is no guests to drop it onto), Harry’s bedroom Upstairs, and the Flying Ford Anglia escape (although there are no Weasley Twins in this set as there were in the film) featured in the second film.
I know for most people this will not bother them, as it means they only have to buy one 4 Privet Drive to satisfy their needs, but it just annoyed me a tad due to the two timelines occurring (as well as a few mini figs missing to make it a little more accurate).
The build of this set, was very enjoyable, and although there was no real deviation from a standard Lego build with advanced techniques etc. It was good fun, and little details such as a stair bannister and handrail always make me smile as it’s amazing what can be made with Lego and a little imagination.
Some people have stated that their sets may have arrived with missing or damaged pieces – it can happen – BUT, Lego are absolutely fantastic, and you can reorder FREE replacement bricks from their website you just need to enter your set number and it will bring up all the bricks that are used in this set and you can have them shipped to you for free – Which is absolutely FANTASTIC customer service!
As stated previously, this set isn’t huge, and it may seem a little pricey, but with this set, you’re not paying for size, you’re paying for all the little details that really make this set a joy to own.
Great representation of the house and many features. Smaller than anticipated.
Brought this for my harry potter mad daughter. She was made up. Also cheaper off amazon then anywhere else online
Great product. Quick delivery. Enjoyed building it to add to the collectio
Grandson loved this and built it over 2 days. Great value for money although some bits were difficult to putt togethe
A Christmas present for an adult. Well received. Assembled in a few hours. Amazing attention to detail in the house
Excellent product, kept my son quiet for an hour while he built this
Lego is overpriced. Harry Potter makes things even more overpriced. So there’s not heaps of Lego, but the result is pretty lovely. Some nice touches like making the letters come down the chimney, and the room under the stairs. And I think some nice minifigures.
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter aged 7, she absolutely loved it and her dad and she built it all by Boxing Day! Great Lego set!
Brought for my granddaughter who is a Harry Potter fan and she was super happy with i
clear instructions & easy for a 7 year old to build on their own, giving them a& sense of achieveme
Great to build but as with all Lego products, so expensive.
My son is pleased with his Christmas present. As part of his HP collection it’s a nice addition with a couple of good features (the letters coming in through the fireplace and the cupboard under the stairs). Dobby is a rare character so a lovely inclusion here. This set doesn’t really have the same wow factor though as some of the magical world sets though.
My Grandson loves Lego so really enjoyed making this one.
First Harry Potter Lego set purchased for 8 year olds Christmas present. Very very impressed. The way the Lego all gets pieced together to make the house and car was really fascinating! Definitely worth every penny as we had fun building it together and now my daughter has a fun HP set to play with!
Fun to build. Suitable for any harry potter fans and any age over 8. Good value for money. Overall nice set.
The detail of this set is great – like the quilt, the secret understair door. My 12 year old is delighted!
have to give give this 5 stars as it Harry Potte
Excellent iconic Harry Potter Lego set. Bought this for my sister for Christmas who is a big potter fan and she loved it. Built it up on Boxing Day. It has very nice features like a fireplace that shoots out hogwarts acceptance letters and a space below the stairs for Harry Potter. Lots of detail and looks great up on a shelf displayed.
The 2 Lego pieces are Xmas presents so haven’t actually seen the end result yet until they’ve both been built.
Can comment further after Xmas for further reviews
lego is very pricey but it looks fab when built and gives my daughter loads of joy to play with it.
My 9yr old is a big Harry Potter fan& absolutely loved this. Very detailed set.
Bought as a Xmas present, good price and arrived on time
I bought this for a Christmas present, hopefully it will be well received
Great set of lego! Looks great and wasn’t too expensive for what it is!
Never any qualms with a Lego product. Privet Drive makes up our HP collection perfectly.
This is excellent for all lego and HP fans but I feel are expensive for what they are. However grandson loved it and lego does last.
She’s going to love it to go with her collectio
I Havnt had chance to review it properly as it’s been bought as a Christmas gift x
Exactly what the description stated. My grandson will love doing this.
First Chritmas present bought as this was on offer. My daughter will love it.
This is brilliant! The detail and quality of it is amazing, I loved seeing it come together through the different building stages. Great value for money, any Harry potter would love this, it’s a must have!
It’s Lego good quality brings Harry Potter home needs some patience but great when finished
Bought for My Great Grandson’s 7th Birthday.. I was a bit worried it may be a bit hard for him. It took him a few days to build it before and after school but he managed it all by himself. Its a brilliant set. Lots of features.
Good value for money.
Firstly, it’s not cheap but then Lego never is; that said, there is so much detail to this set – the letters, the street-name plaque, the newspaper, the hidden room… that it must be considered as good vfm, purely down to the extraordinary attention that has been paid to the books (note: not the film!). It takes quite a while to build but it’s so much fun, lots of “Oooh look at…” and such that the time whizzes by. If you’ve an obsessive Potterhead in the family then it’s a must for their collection; siriusly (sic) good fun for the wannabe-Hogwarts-pupil (or even teacher)!
Very expensive for plastic bricks? But was fun to do, love lego
Do not be fooled – I kept saying I didn’t fancy this kit as it was “just a house” and I figured it would be a really boring build. There is SO much going on in this set that it is a really engrossing build and full of surprises. It manages to merge Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets beautifully.
You can post little lego letters through the fireplace. The back of the letterbox in the door is blocked up. Harry has his cupboard under the stairs. Harry also has his bedroom from the second book and the inclusion of a Ford Anglia (not as nice a modelling as the one in the Whomping Willow Set) that really does pull the window out to set Harry free.
The inclusion of Dobby is such a great idea. I don’t have him from any other set so that made me very happy.
Plenty of play value and the build itself is far more enjoyable than I really expected.

Bought this for grandaughter for Christmas. i am sure she will love it.
8yo is so happy with this set. It’s his favourite. Excellent value also.
This set is one of the best they have released loads going on in this set build of set was fun and loads of little nooks and cranny with loads of little hidden jams to keep the kids interested.
Would definitely recommend this set for collectors and for play .
wonderful as always, my daughter loves all things Lego and has especially loved all the harry potter themed sets, my daughter has dyslexia so finds it really difficult to do most things as she cannot read the instructions but with Lego she is able to work and follow the instructions without any need for help.
Always liked Lego and I’m 70. My granddaughter is ten very bright and is following the tradition. Cheers jb
My 11-year-old niece was beside herself with delight at receiving this for her birthday. There was much excited squeaking (“There’s even a cupboard under the stairs for Harry Potter to sleep in!”)! The set is pricey, as all Harry Potter Lego sets are, but there’s a lot to make and play with in this set, and the Dobby mini figure was a massive hit. I looked around, and the set was more expensive everywhere else. The price even dropped a bit more while the item was waiting in my basket, which was great! No pieces missing. Hours of fun. One very happy 11-year-old.
What’s not too like. Another great set by Lego. Really cool minifigures and great looking build. This set is packed full of references from the Harry Potter movies. A must have for any Harry Potter and Lego fan.
I bought this LEGO Harry Potter item for the 9th birthday of a lover of Lego and Harry Potter. I ordered it in advance of it being available, and there was a guarantee that there would be no increase should LEGO raise their price. My
grandaughter is as happy with this one as she has been with the Lego she has received as a birthday present since she was 3.
It’s very good. It looks great and overall its not going to put me off Lego Harry Potter. However I did have one missing piece. It’s quite a big piece of the wall next to the front door on the left fr the outside. Luckily I was able to substitute nine smaller pieces of the same colour leftover from previous Lego Harry Potter builds. Overall however I am pleased with it if not slightly dissapointed. I’ve built all previous sets and am making my way through the new ones. I knew at some point I was bound to have a missing bit.
Great set, joy to build.
I feel more features could have been included within the house but it would need to be bigger to accommodate. Kids love it and plenty to entertain them for a while.
The tree was very annoying to build and attach!
Love this lego set had fun building it and love the extras including the ca
Ever since I completed the Lego knight bus, I fell in love with the Harry Potter Lego sets. I’ve had the hogwarts express and Hagrids hut, and now, privet drive. As soon as I saw this set announced I knew I had to have it. Having now completed the set, which was once again a pleasurable experience, I can safely say that it is a stunning piece. The attention to detail in these sets never fails to surprise me; it makes one wonder how the designers are able to capture the essence of something simply using plastic blocks. The set was not too hard to construct and it allowed me a chance to relax whilst watching the house come into existence. I highly recommend it if you are considering buying it. I haven’t yet been disappointed with Harry Potter Lego, it’s really quite special.
