Appears to work as designed however if you screw bracket to roof it’s impossible to fit light to bracket as the wee tabs don’t extend far enough for the sliders to latch under them. Required me to bend tabs at either end of bracket slightly down a number of times before the light would actually locate under them.

Having bought 1 or 2 lights of varying quality the first thing I noticed about the Lepro light was its good quality construction, yes its made of plastic but the is no flex in the frame/body of the light and no rough edges. Wiring is straightforward just push the bare wire into the live and neutral holes and job done. The tricky part for me was the connection to the ceiling mounting plate and that was more to do with having big fingers the kept getting in the way of holding the spring clips apart and the ceiling. My solution was to use string to pull the spring clips apart, then place the lamp to the bracket and release.
Some 1 star reviews have mentioned not being able to connect to wifi and I had the same issue but guessed the cause was my Netgear Orbi mesh system which operates at 5Ghz & 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz frequency trying to connect to the light which only works on 2.4Ghz. Anyway these frequencies have different ranges so I isolated my Orbi satellite ( which was closest to the light) which meant the 2.4Ghz frequency from the Orbi hub was most likely to make the connection and so it was. If you can’t connect to wifi then check out if your router/hub uses these 2 frequencies. Connecting to Alexa was even easier as the Lepro app does it for you (or google if thats what you have). The app gives you a number of light display choices which you can manually configure or choose from 8 pre determined choices. At the time of writing I haven’t worked out how to get Alexa to do this but I’m not to concerned as long as Alexa can switch it on/off I can get by. The picture was taken at 5pm with alot of light coming in the bedroom window, ok review over back to the decorating of the bedroom 🙂

    easy install and works great!

First of all, this light is really nice and bright. So easy to install, I’m taking about 3-4 mins. The problems started when I tried to set the Wi-Fi up. After a hour of the light flashing and putting my Wi-Fi password into the app it still was not picking the light up. I knew it had to be 2.4 GHZ so I dived into my router settings to make sure it was 2.4 not 5. Cut a long story short, noticed my new phone was on 5 and my old iPhone 7 was on the 2.4GHZ. With a quick charge and the app downloaded it took me 2 mins to sync the light to my phone, once I’d done that I went on to my new phone and there it was in the app. Hope this helps lol. Once it was synced the light is amazing, fast to change colour and lots of different modes.

Over recent years I have become a massive fan of the Lepro range of RBG LED lighting. I have their smart led strips in my bedroom, Livingroom and my loft, all colour changing and all have voice control with all my Alexa devices.

My old bathroom light recently broke, so I took this opportunity to see if Lepro offered the same rgb smart option as my other lights and of course they did 🙂

The install was fine and I couldn’t be please with the end result! now im tempting to swap all of my central lights (bulbs, spotlights etc) with these circular smart ones!

    Very happy 😀

    This light is awesome

Excellent features, easy to use and setup. Ideal for a games room as the cover is plastic. Loads of colours and lighting settings. Not energy efficient but it’s very bright so turned down to 20% hopefully this lowers the energy rating.

Amazing little ceiling light, although in my case it was used as a wall light in the pantry.
The light itself is very simple to fit with the fixture that the whole light locks onto using the two spring loaded tabs at either side, and even being wall mounted the tabs are barley visible (see pic).
It was easy to connect to the Lepro UX app which allowed me to then use Alexa to control it. The colour options in Alexa are limited, but the full gamut of colours are available from the Lepro UX app, and the light is plenty bright enough regardless of the colour you choose.

Overall an amazing little light, that was easy to install, setup and use. Totally recommend.

Great Wall light, easy instal and works perfectly.

It’s so neat and tidy on the ceiling. Really easy installation. Bright or dim whatever your whim, turn on your light to shine in the night.
Red pink or blue, you can pick your fave hue. Let it flick threw them all and you’ll be having a ball! Alexa light on,the darkness be gone. Turn it off on the app it’s simple as that!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE

Love so much I bought 4

Tried half an hour with the flashing which make me really not comfortable and still not connected to the Wi-Fi. Finally I use my another phone to set up a wifi and connected it. And works well

Ordered to replace a triple Ikea style spotlight bar and was wowed by the difference in brightness. I no longer need to add several extra lamps to brighten up the corners of the room. I also like being able to adjust the brightness (dimmed for movie time etc) – the only thing I’d like to see is a “rainbow party” mode when it automatically changed through the colours like others can do but I wouldn’t use that too often anyway.

Relatively easy to setup – you can use a kettle lead while it’s on the ground to get it setup first – remember to switch your router to 2.4ghz setting (or smart assistant setup) for this.

Once that’s done it can be installed in the ceiling using the existing cables (relatively easy – obviously power off first) and slotting it in to the ceiling base (slightly less easy depending on angles).

It can be controlled by the wall or app (or voice if linked to a Google Home/Alexa).

Price wise – keep an eye out as there have a been a number of discounts so I wouldn’t order at full price but it is worth it.

Easy to install (long as you don’t have a textured ceiling that doesn’t leave enough clearence).

The bracket has plenty of play for where the screws fix to ceiling so there’s a good chance you can use existing holes in ceiling.

No fiddly little screws to hold wires is a + but it means if you struggle to clip light on bracket they can come out.

Set up is quick and easy, although AP mode could be more noticeable.

Alexa integration is via a skill as is usual. Can adjust brightness by percent, colours and preset colour temperatures (cool white, warm white, daytime white for example).

We use wifi alexa linked light bulbs in rooms upstairs, now considering replacing with this as much nicer looking.

I hate Tuya with a passion. Luckily, this lamp still (20th November 2021) derived chip that can be flashed with ESPHome or Tasmota to gain local and direct control with Home Assistant and other local home automation solutions. Search john beardon esphome lepro lamplux for an overview guide. Does involve soldering.
I this wasn’t flashable, my rating would be much lower, purely because I do not trust the Tuya ecosystem.

So many colours and modes to choose from. You can set the brightness and colours whilst sat in the comfort of your armchair, bed, running machine or even in a adjacent room. Easily installed

To get it to pair split my router wifi into 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands (had already done that) then temporarily disable 5ghz wifi on my router, and set a wifi compatibility mode, then pair with the light quite close to the router. Afterwards I undid the temporary changes (just split bands), and it continues to work. This seems to be common with current smart lights – I guess designs will catch up with routers eventually., On the positive side it’s a bright light for its size, and it is easy to adjust with the smart app on my phone. Don’t try to dim it on a dimmer switch (it will flicker), use the app instead (much smoother).

These are ideal for controlling lighting whilst away. They were fairly easy to fit and setup. The app works well. Every time we go away, we set a schedule so that rooms look in use in the evening. So much better than lamps on timers. And as a light fitting in general use, they are neat on the ceiling, casting good all-over light e.g. for an office. I don’t bother with the colours, but this does work well if this feature is of interest.

Nice light, used in bathroom with some standard intergrated spot lights. Daughters love the disco setting. Easy to use with app.

The only 2 bad things I have to say about this light fitting is that it was a nightmare to fit. Given that not all homes have the same electrical wiring, Some have new and some have old and I have old. So Lepro did not leave much housing for a large clump of wiring had to make some adjustments so I could get the the light housing to take the clump of wiring ie make a larger hole in the ceiling. Also was not easy lining up where the light was or needed to be in conjunction to where the wiring was protruding from the ceiling. Last thing is I think they should have made the housing more so the wires where hidden in the case of the housing as I think steam may actually congregate or flow around the sides causing shorts. Time will tell I guess.
Having said that it does look good and was easy to connect to wifi and Alexa.

I struggled to link the light to my phone, but after contacting Customer services I’m now a really happy customer the porch light works superb. If you have difficulties it’s simple go through the motions then wait 5 seconds and do it again the lamp will blink slowly on the app select AP mode top right of page and bingo it connects. The Ceiling Light is Great and I recommend it 5 stars

I now have two of these lights in both my bathroom and office – they are Fantastic value for money. Very bright on max setting, and great fun to play with, I can easily control the brightness through Alexa and the colour. The app or Alexa app allows more precise control. They look lovely too – very small clean design. Slight grumble is I found it tricky to put up as the ceiling wires lock in by a plastic clip not screw – this meant that they kept popping out. So I extended the ceiling cable with a short extension to make it easier – but I’m no electrical expert so it’s probably more me at fault. Also my daughter has a habit of turning the light off at switch like a normal light. When you turn it back on there’s no lag in reconnecting which can be a problem with other smart lights. It connects immediately and once linked to Alexa even if you turn it off at the switch it reconnects immediately without issue in my experience. I’d say it’s the most stable smart light product for connection and integration with Wi-Fi and Alexa I have used – recommend!

I have this light installed outside, in my porch. I wanted a smart light so it will come on and off automatically when I needed it too. The fact that you can adjust the brightness and the warmth of the light is brilliant. You can adjust it until it’s just right for the environment it’s in. I don’t use the other colours or any of the other features, but the simple design with a fairly low profile was exactly what I was looking for.

Fitted one in my house and when granddaughter saw it she wanted one,
Works ok and easy to work with Alexa but can be tricky to set up, just make sure you download the lamp app first and then connect to the Alexa app.

Works great so far having been fitted for an month and a half now, we use the normal white light most of the time but we have the colour set to green for when i have migraines. The timer function on the app is amazing and we use it to. Need to get another fitted in my bedroom as the green light definetly helps with my migraines. Kirsty

This product looks good, is neat on the ceiling and is infinitely adjustable for colour (saturation) and brightness.
You can create a schedule to turn on and off.

    Blips
There is not enough room to contain the ceiling rose -the electrical ring connector – inside the unit, but not a big issue.
I had difficulty setting up the wifi, however the helpline was fantastic in helping me sort it out.
The light will work normally if you don’t have your phone handy, turn off the with for 3 seconds then turn back on.
