I’ve had my bnx-60 earphones for………since they first came out when I was a teen & still use them today. Best earphones I’ve ever had and would definitely 100% recommend. Comfy, great quality, long lasting which is sustainable for the planet and kinda stylish. I like how they are both Bluetooth and plug in so if you have like 10% battery and your out all day you don’t need to worry if they run out of battery as you can plug them in your phone or tablet.

Only thing is the noise cancelling works but it makes a slight buzz sound if your not moving about. Guess that button was put in for exercise only. Lol

Here’s my main thoughts after having these for a couple weeks now:
    – Sound quality is pretty good. Nothing to write home about but what you’d expect I guess.
    – Noise cancelling isn’t anything special. For starters, these headphones don’t keep the noise within your ears, so at any high volumes (for music, tv etc.) anyone around you is going to hear it. The noise cancelling itself just makes the volume higher as far as I can tell. It does work pretty well for blocking out outside noise though, to a level where you may hear a few outside noises but it won’t be noticeable or annoying.
    – Battery seems really good. I haven’t been constantly using them but I literally haven’t charged these since taking them out the box and they’re still fine two weeks later.
    – Comfort isn’t great. I have a fairly big head and these can get somewhat uncomfortable quite quickly. They don’t extend that much so the top part can start digging into my head if I want them to be fully over my ears.
    – The buttons are good. I love the range of buttons. That was one of the main appeals, you can literally do everything on the headphones; volume up-down buttons and a separate volume slider, skip track forward or back, pause, noise cancelling, accept calls. The buttons don’t stick out, which is annoying when you’re tryna use them on your head, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
    – Bluetooth connection: they connect immediately when you turn them on which is very nice. Other people have mentioned how there’s no button to disconnect the Bluetooth on the headphones, so in theory when you turn them on they might connect to the last connected device (presuming it is on and has Bluetooth on) and you’d have to go find the device and disconnect. This hasn’t happened to me at all and I can’t imagine it realistically being an issue outside of very specific scenarios.

Overall happy with these. The comfort is the only real issue I have, so if you need something really comfortable and you have a big head you might want to steer away from these. Otherwise they’re a good pair of headphones

Comfortable fit, easy fold away in hard shell case so don’t have to worry about them being squished in my bag and damaged, Great sound-better than my bose in ear . Use the noise cancelling for doing my mindfulness exercises. Great all round and well worth the money. They come with a variety of wired connections including the double pronged airplane style connection and can be wired for connection if battery dies for Bluetooth.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought these a few weeks ago and I have had plenty of time to play with them.
Sound quality is great. Very clear with good bass response. They do sound better with the ANC on to my ears. The stereo separation is excellent and you do get a good sound stage. I listen to all kinds of music and pod casts. Music is very good but pod casts are truly excellent. Familiar voices are accurate and very focused. You can easily loose a few hours with these headphones.
Comfort and build. The build quality for the money is great. I have owned similar headphones before from other manufacturers and I would say these are up there with the best. They are easy to wear and very comfortable. Its also good to see that replacement ear cups are available to buy and replace. They come with a nice hard case for when you travel and lots of adaptors and cables.

Over all 10/10 from me. These headphones are my new favourite bit of tech.

    Great Headphones

From the outset the product radiated quality, packaging was heavy duty and engaging, the set up and instructions clear and simple so was working with my phone for voice and music within seconds

I’ve used the noise cancelling on flights now and has created a whole new travelling experience while making the music and voice calls on mobiles clearer than ever.

The speaker quality for a set of headphones that are under 100 is incredible, I’m struggling to keep them to myself as the kids now prefer it to the skull candy and beats that they have.

All in all a great purchase and I wasn’t previously aware of the Lindy brand. More fool me!

    Simply spectacula

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought these Lindy headphones to replace a pair of Sony that I had lost. Although cheaper than the Sony I have been extremely impressed with both the sound quality and build. You get a lot of headphones for your money with these. The noise cancelling works a treat and although I have not done allot of travelling in recent months I do have a house full of children over the Summer and the headphone have let me focus on my work rather than be bothered with background noise from the family. Sound quality is excellent for music and conference calls and comfort is no issue. I never spend a huge amount on headphones as I tend to leave them on trains and plains (pre covid) so I am some what an expert in the sub 100 division, I would recommend these wholeheartedly, they are easily as good as products offered by much bigger brands.

    Excellent value ANC headphones

Excellent headphones . They fit over ear, which reduces external sounds. I think that these sound better with the noise cancelling On. I’ve noticed that other makes have the noise cancelling On all the time. On these you can turn it off, but you probably won’t want to do that. I only listen to podcasts and audio books on them, so I can’t have an opinion about how they sound with music..

I bought these to wear while at my mother’s because she has the TV on so loud, and also when the neighbour has his kids round. They certainly help to deaden the noise but I found that wearing them long term got uncomfortable, also slightly uncomfortable when wearing glasses. The ear cups are well padded, the set up was reasonably easy, haven’t used them with the TV or stereo.

I liked the style fit and size of these headphones. They pair easily to WiFi media and have the versatility of an audio Jack allowing cd and vinyl media to be heard. The noise cancelling function is very good and they are well packaged and presented in a robust carrying case. All in all I am very pleased with this product that comes at an affordable price and certainly live up to the expert reviews.

Lindy wireless noise cancelling headphones are well made, have good volume and are comfortable to begin with. Their main problem I have found is, while watching a film they make your ears ache after around an hour or so. They could do with having a slacker fitting as they really do press on each ear. If you want to listen to music for half an hour, or watch a short ish film they are very good, but a normal or longer length film of 90 minutes or more and they become very uncomfortable and also make your ears sweat. I don’t know if over time the fit becomes looser, I certainly hope so, but as things stand I find myself resorting back to some wireless in ear buds, even though they have an annoying habit of falling out occasionally. Oh, the Lindy headsets do come with a hard case to put them in, which is a plus.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving bought Lindy cabling for years and having been given a 50 voucher to put towards something I decided to look at wireless headphones and these popped up.

First up I love how there’s loads of accessories included so you don’t have to fart around trying to find where to buy x, y, z. Very thankful of that.

Second up these work really nicely considering how ‘cheap’ they are. Once paired any other time you switch them on they’ll pair in a second or two where some bluetooth devices I’ve used sit for ages and eventually don’t connect (Hi Sennheiser!). I’ll admit my previous experiences with wireless stuff has been the reason I’ve tried to avoid it, these have kinda changed my mind a bit.

The option of using them in the various modes is great so if you choose to plug them into something you can just use them as normal headphones. You can use them wired with noise cancelling and the battery lasts ages. Using them in full wireless, noise cancelling mode the battery still lasts a good length of time, I bought them to use on a flight and the battery life full wireless and noise cancelling covers that easily.

Sound in non-cancelling mode is a little muted, like you’re listening through a woolly hat but you don’t buy them to use as normal headphones, that’s just another nice little feature. Once the noise cancelling switch is flipped on they actually sound pretty decent again considering the price of them, top end is good, they have a nice amount of low end and it isn’t blown out like some headphones. I mostly use them wandering around the house, making dinner, cleaning etc so I don’t have to put the stereo on.

For the money these are a pretty great buy, I’m not sure I can fault them on anything other than the sound when the noise cancelling is turned off but that means you just turn it on and fix your ‘problem’ instantly.

I bought these to use mostly with my tablet computer, but also with my phone to listen to music. The noise cancelling is excellent, the sound quality is good, and they’re comfortable to wear. I hadn’t intended to use them for calls, but thought I’d try them when using MS Teams, and the built-in mic is certainly good enough for that. Battery life seems good so far, in line with the manufacturer’s claim. Setup is ridiculously easy. Would thoroughly recommend!

Overall, I think this product is great value. One major point, audio wise, is that you have to have the noise cancelling on to have the outstanding audio for value. However, to have noise cancelling on, it reduces battery life. Battery is dependent on whether you care about the audio quality you receive.

I think this is perfect for someone who needs it for it’s noise cancelling e.g workouts, studying etc.

I think this product could be improved in a few ways e.g transitioning to the new industry standard usb-c. I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere were so many headphones to choose from when I was looking for a set for my 9 year old’s Christmas wish present. He envied my Sennheiser headphones but I couldn’t afford that for a child! So it was a gamble buying these but I had read good reviews. I am completely surprised at the top notch quality on all aspects of these headphones. So simple, straightforward, good quality build/sound/controls/battery life/speed of charging and noise cancelling. Also, the cushioning material the sits on the ears is so so soft, they barely feel on! I am so impressed with these that I have bought the same ones for my 88year old dad and he is so happy for these soft headphones on his ears. Both thumbs up from us.

I am pretty disappointed with the noise cancelling; it doesn’t seem to do much blocking out of the sounds of cars driving past when I’m on a run. The design is very nice, and materials are very satisfying to touch. Battery life is very good and the sound quality is premium, particularly for its price. But the noise cancelling is nowhere near as good as is made out to be.

In summary – this is an excellent, comfortable pair of Bluetooth headphones, but you should avoid it if you intend to actually use the mic for anything, or use an external mic instead.

Noise cancellation – the headphones form a seal around your ears, blocking out almost all external noises. In addition to this with ANC (active noise cancelling) turned on, the headphones produce a white noise which also blocks out some sounds. I also wear these headphones with glasses and they’re still very comfortable. The glasses slide in near the top of the cushiony seal, and don’t hurt at all. The only pain I notice is some very slight pressure on my ears after extended use, but I’ve gotten used to this.

Battery life – the battery lasts for roughly 2 days from a full charge. It seems to charge quite fast, although you should note you can’t use the headphones while they’re charging. The headphones start to make a very annoying bleeping noise at about 10-15% charge which it doesn’t seem can be disabled, meaning they in effect have a slightly lower battery life. A very useful tool for battery life is that your PC/mobile can tell you roughly how much battery life is left. I’ve been able to use this with Windows 10 and an Android phone, but not Windows 8.1.

Sound quality – the audio output is excellent, both on Bluetooth and wired. However, you cannot use it for high quality output and input at the same time, unless you want awful sound quality, both for input and output. In effect this is a pair of headphones for audio output, which technically has a mic, but you should really use an external mic instead.

Connectivity – pairing the headphones to a new device is quite quick and should only need to be done once per device. Sometimes in order to connect the device will need to be switched off and on again, or the device’s Bluetooth will need to be disabled then enabled. Once it’s connected, its range seems to be quite far. It usually cuts out at about 10 metres in testing. I haven’t noticed much audio latency. If you have issues with wireless connectivity, there’s also a 3.5mm jack, and they come with a somewhat small 3.5mm male-to-male cable. They can be connected to mobile devices, tablets and computers, provided they all have Bluetooth connectivity, which is very convenient, as opposed to needing two different pairs of headphones.

Durability – they feel sturdy, though I can only comment based on 2 months’ worth of use. The materials seem to be decent quality, and I can’t really notice any major flaws which would result in it snapping. I’ll update this review at a later date if they do snap (purchased in September 2020, reviewed in November 2020). They arrive with a sturdy box for safe transport or storing them long-term.

Value for money – the headphones cost 73.98 at the time, which seems good value for headphones with ANC. It seems to be a very good mid-tier product at that price.

Great, balanced sound and good battery life without the active noise cancelling, the ear pads cancel well the noise without ANC. The sound is not as well balanced when ANC is on.

After persevering with my old noise-cancelling in-ear ‘phones, I decided to go for a set of over-ear phones. The noise cancelling on these Lindy cans is comparatively brilliant. Doesn’t block out everything, of course, but they are very effective.
Sound quality is not the best I’ve heard but I think they’re pretty good for the money. Not great without NC on but why would you not have NC on?
I’d heard reports that some cans can be uncomfortable after a while. These fit over my ears comfortably. I wear them for up to an hour at a time and have never been relieved to take them off. I feel like I could wear them for hours in comfort.
If you’re looking for some noise-cancelling cans, these seem to me to be a bargain. Nice hard case too.

  28. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

For the price of these, you can’t complain. They’re comfortable, decent sound although slightly less so when anc is switched off, seems to be quieter and less bass. Strange but still usable as they are still very loud.
    Easy to connect.
All buttons and volume control work will connected to Bluetooth. They don’t work bar the volume control when using the wire but that’s fine. And using the wire preserves battery life. And as for battery life, it’s amazing, seems to last for ages, can’t complain on this front.
They’re comfortable over the ears. When anc is on, it’s good to keep out bangs and droning noise but not voices as much, unless you have the music on which drowns that out so although you can use them without music, they aren’t perfect, however, you really can’t complain for what you get with the price paid.
    I would recommend these.

Excellent quality and value. Amazing after-sales support too. I’ve had these BNX-60 headphones for three years and the ear pads had gotten a bit worn. (And I probably could have avoided this if I’d used more the robust case that came with the headphones.)

I inquired on the Lindy website about getting replacement ear pads, expecting I’d have to buy them. Instead, I got a reply within an hour saying new ear pads were in the post and they arrived the next day, free of charge. Thanks Lindy!

Sound quality is on a par with my AKG’S and is very good, however, the noise cancellation needs be on otherwise the treble and midrange are washed out. As for the noise cancellation itself, it’s a huge disappointment, 85% they claim I’d say nearer 5%, it barely has much effect at all. Listening with the cable direct to my Denon CD player the quality of the sound comes shining through. The Bluetooth is excellent and has no noticeable time lag, this is a huge plus for the phones as my other Bluetooth phones do have a time lag so watching television is very annoying. Overall a fine pair of headphones with an excellent volume control too. Build quality is also very good. Battery life seems reasonable but that could improve if you didn’t need to have the noise cancellation on all the time to get good quality sound. Bluetooth connection is a doddle. All in all great sounding phones but oh dear, noise cancellation, not good at all.

The noise cancelling feature really does block outside noise and brings the music to the fore front. You can stay in control of your music while still relaxing with your eyes closed – heaven.

These are excellent. I’m so used to earpods which are never really noise cancellation no matter how much some claim to be.

These really are noise cancellation. They are comfortable on the head and ears and you can choose if you want noise cancellation or not. They are bluetooth operated so you can connect them to any device. They can be a bit fiddly setting them up though.

The sound is good. The only issue I have is that at some angles one of the ears goes muffled. Mostly when I try to adjust them on my head or lean my head against something.

They are great for the price though.

I spent ages reading reviews for various noise cancelling headphones and finally went for the plunge with these! I am really happy with my purchase. The noise cancelling is pretty good (low pitched sounds in particular), I bought these to help hear podcasts better when walking through loud/busy places and they have definitely meant I can do so with the volume down lower, which is much better for your ears of course. Connecting to Bluetooth on my phone is easy, as is turning up the volume etc. All the controls are straightforward, and I appreciated the useful little bag of connectors included, as this meant I could use these to plug in to my keyboard without needing to buy anything extra.

As others have mentioned, without the noise cancelling on the sound isn’t very clear, but I just switch it on every time! No hassle. The battery life seems pretty good, I use them off and on a few days in a row before they need charging. I think they look pretty good too.
For negatives, I find they get a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours of wear. My ears get a bit sore from wearing them, so I sometimes have a little break for a bit to let them recover, then back on with the headphones! You can also turn them around (so wearing the right side on the left etc) for a different fit so that’s also good to help with comfort.
I also find the top of my head gets a bit sore too after having the band rest on it, although I reckon I could overcome that by making the band a bit bigger through using the adjusters on either side.

Given the price, I think these are really good value for money. I like how they kind of put you in your own little world, especially when using at home. Recommended!

Really well designed, easy to learn and use controls for volume, Active Noise Cancelling and play/next song etc. Comes with USB charging cable, audio cable and adaptors for different slots. Find all audio sounds better with the noise cancelling turned on. I find it too quiet without.

I have a bit of discomfort when wearing for extended periods as my ears don’t fit entirely within them.

I bought for use with my PS4, laptop and phone. Works well with PS4 when using audio cable. Also works well with my phone for use on calls. Have been using on work conference calls a lot lately. Really useful to have the stereo sound and noise cancelling.

Really good headphones for the price.

However just over a year later (treated with care and only sporadic use) they don’t charge at all. Everything works with the power cord plugged in, but once it’s taken out, nothing. These are my first set of over ear bluetooth, noise cancelling headphones. I bought them to listen to music on the train / underground. Did quite a bit of research and these had a number of good write ups.

    GOOD POINTS
They are reasonably comfortable for long periods.
Ear cups and headband are softly padded.
Because they are ‘over ear’ headphones, they cut out a bit of external noise, but not much.
These can be used as wired or wireless.
Folding ear cups help with storage and a hard carry case is included.
Quite well made, matt black, soft touch coating.
    Sound quality reasonable.
    Battery life good.

    NOT SO GOOD
Finding the on/off/pause control can be a bit fiddly.
Ears get a bit warm after a while of wearing them.
    Occasionally cuts out Bluetooth connection.
    Not enough bass.
Quality ok, you get what you pay for.
