Struggled with not being able to use balanced cables on a PC setup without any midi interface. This finally solved years worth of static in our studio monitors. Would have gotten 5 stars if the hub was USB3.0 but the hub isn’t why we purchased this.

Wenn man nicht mehr braucht als die Lautstrkeregelung fr Kopfhrer und Lautsprecher dann ist das Teil perfekt, weil praxisgerecht. Die Bedienung ist Idiotensicher und hlt auch grober Behandling definitiv stand. leider sind beide Regler fest zu Kopfhrer und Lautsprechern zugeordnet. Ein Umschaltmglichkeit gibt es aus meiner Sicht leider nicht.
Cercavo una scheda audio esterna poco ingombrante, versatile e con una buona qualit del suono e l’ho trovata in questo prodotto che ha pienamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Unico neo stata la configurazione con Windows 10 che andava in crash probabilmente perch ho collegato prima la scheda e poi ho scaricato i drivers ho dovuto cancellare la scheda audio che si era creata e ricrearla, poi tutto ha cominciato a funzionare correttamente.
Everything arrived in working condition. No complaints. Sound quality and means of use are fitting to my particular project. This isn’t a Mackie Big knob comparison for the simple fact that this is a hub. Make sure it is applicable to your project/build
I got this so i could have a physical volume control for my pair of Presonus E5, a headphone pre-amp and so i didnt have to unplug my headphones to use my speakers and visa-versa. Works great. Great little product and great value.

Arrivata installata facilmente con la porta usb type a perch la type c inserendola non funzionava…..Dopo che ho scritto sulle domande mi hanno risposto dopo un paio di giorni dicendomi di modificare le impostazioni della type c per la corrente e adesso funziona alla grande in coppia a dei monitor m-audio bx5 d3 dal mio portatile esce un audio spettacolare e potente……Unico neo della scheda l’ascolto in cuffia e per questo solo 3 stelle visto che la scheda gi essenziale cio fa poco (uscita audio e ascolto) e dovrebbe farlo bene in entrambi i caso. Spero la recensione vi sia utile.

Sound quality and audio recordings performed through the device is immaculate. The extra USB ports located in front of the device are a huge convenience. Super satisfied I stumbled across this among the wide range of DAC’s on Amazon.
La scheda suona molto bene,per quel che costa. Ma se usate molto le cuffie sappiate che il volume veramente basso!
Looks awesome, works perfectly. Only downside is the volume is LOW with the headphones on. I mean I turn the volume to the max and it sounds like 50% of any other interface I have ever used.
I couldn’t find any reviews with my specific paring. I have the Beyerdynamic 770 pro 80 ohms and I bought this interface off of a recommendation. would buy again sounds great. I wish the USB in the front was controllable by the big knob.
Just what I’ve been looking for! I’m amazed more vendors don’t sell this, the AIR|Hub is the perfect all in one unit. It does more than other products at higher prices. I run a digital signal straight to the Hub so processing at 24-bit/96kHz does the job very nicely. If you’re looking for a simple setup with a smartphone (mine is an iphone running GarageBand), a MIDI controller or digital piano (using M-AUDIO Hammer 88 and used Yamaha P-45), and a powered speaker or monitor (using Roland KC-300), this is totally the way to go—USB powered hub and DAC all in one, truly one device to connect them all!

My main reason for buying this unit is to leave my $6000+ hybrid mixing interface powered off, to not waste the lifespan of the vintage tubes and capacitors inside.
That unit is a Cranborne Audio 500R8, and is supposed to have some of the best converters in the world; in terms of output sound quality, I can’t tell any difference between it and the Air Hub. If you’re looking for a basic interface that can connect to studio monitors this is it, though you should be aware that it doesn’t do anything besides that and functioning as a USB hub (no inputs etc). It may take a minor amount of load off of your processing power, and allow you to set sample rates, as you’re no longer using the built in soundcard.
Drivers were a complete non-issue on Win 10. They auto installed, though I downloaded the software anyways. 100% painless. The fact that it has a USB 3 thunderbolt style connection is a plus, as I was out of space for USB-A connections on my desktop.
Cons: the USB cables are hilariously short, and the rotary knob strikes me as somewhat absurdly large for a tiny device. Aside from a setup where you need to connect to studio monitors and nothing else, it’s hard to imagine where this would be useful. If you’re on the road with a laptop, you don’t have studio monitors, and you have USB slots for midi gear. If you’re at home or in the studio, you will probably want inputs, but whatever, it works for me and I’m grateful.
I own bigger version of Maudio Air with additional audio inputs. This little guy delivers the same quality of sound as the bigger version. Extra USB ports also come handy. What I especially like about this product is that it doesn’t require much configuration. Works great both with Windows and Mac.
if you just need a fairly inexpensive audio interface to drive speakers and nothing else this is it. I got these for my studio monitors. so far, I really enjoy this thing the big volume knob is nice the USB hub is more helpful than I expected, and I like that the headphone jack has its own volume knob. While it’s not built for it, I would like if it had microphone support at least for stereo mix but there is software to get around this. Overall highly recommended

ecesitaba una interface de audio externa, no necesito grabar instrumentos o voz externos ya que solo uso vsts.tenia una m audio con firewire de hace 12 aos, que me empezo a fallar hace unas semanas. como no me fio mucho de windows 10 sus actualizaciones y drivers de terceros encontre la opcion de esta m audio air hub, ademas ahorrandome 24 euros con amazon warehouse. el producto estaba nuevo, pude registrarlo en la web de m audio sin problema y descargar todos los productos incluidos. la caja donde venia si tenia algun rasguo pero poco mas.la interface estaba en perfecto estado. llevo unas 3 semanas usandola y no me a dado mingun problema con windows 10 y su ultimo update (version 2004). uso cubase y funciona todo perfectamente. tiene un volumen mas que correcto con mis monitores krk rockit . si es verdad que el volumen de auriculares podria ser mas alto, pero el aue tiene para mi es suficiente . lo dicho, muchas reviews y criticas malas por ahi. pero a mi me va estupendamente bien. a ver com el tiempo si tambien me dura 10 aos
Only things I would have really liked in this unit is RCA L & R outputs along with the standard TRS and a USB input on the rear of the unit. Other than that its a simple straight forward IO that works great.

Die Audioqualitt ist sehr gut, Verarbeitung auf einem hohem Niveau.
Benutze Ihn im Studio um die Lautstrke zu steuern.
Der Knopf ist sehr stabil gelagert, luft alles sehr smooth”. Hier wackelt nichts!
Zudem hat er auch etwas Gewicht, wodurch er nicht verrutscht. (+Anti Rutsch Pads)
Die 3x USB an der Front sind ein nettes Feature um z.B. Midi Keyboards anzustecken, Handy zu laden etc.
Einziges Manko:
Die Audio-Buchse um Kopfhrer anzustecken, ist fr mich fast unbrauchbar.
Fr meine DT770 Pro 80Ohms ist zuwenig Power da um auf eine ordentliche Lautstrke zu kommen.

What was unexpected was just how great this tool has been in my work from home workflow.
I have my Sony MDR 7506 1/4 headphones plugged into the independent jack and when a Zoom or Google call comes through, I simply turn down the big knob for the my monitors and put my headphones on and turn those up to take the call (using my MacBook Pro built in mic).
I was plugging and unplugging speakers and bluetooth devices multiple times a day before. This solution is much better and much more streamlined.
NOTE: It comes with a power cable but mine works fine without having to use external power at all (although that may limit certain USB hub connections). Makes for a cleaner desk setup too.
