I bought this food processor to replace a 4L KitchenAid one which was enormous, fiddly and awkward to store. The Magimix is a much better size, easy to use and easy to clean. The storage box is great for keeping the accessories in and it isn’t too big. The different size bowls are very useful to use and can be removed depending on the size chosen. Some people have complained that when using the smaller bowls the bigger bowl gets dirty. I certainly haven’t had that problem. The slicers and graters work very well. They grate and slice evenly. So far I am really enjoying using the processor and look forward to many years of use. Also, if you order one before the 31st of January you can go onto the Magimix Uk website and claim a free Emile Henry bread cloche or a free spiralizer. Both of which are worth over 100.

Nice, high-quality French designed food processor with super power and wide range of use. Everything came nicely packed and well protected with full instructions and interesting recipe book which is to be tried out to see how good some food is.
Magimix 3200XL is a big helping hand with slicing, grating, mixing and kneading but it requires a lot of dedication and time to understand it in order to get the best out of it. It definitely is compact and takes up space of a kettle but with its compact size and designs some complications come in place. Careful and thorough reading of instructions, assembly and how to use it and maintain is more than needed. It might seem as simple food processor where you just throw everything inside and use one of 3 buttons but it is not just like that. I had many appliances, electronics and similar house hold items yet this is one of the most complicated to understand. It might seem I am over exaggerating the situation but trust me you don’t want to break or ruin 260 high quality appliance like this.
Be prepared to read instructions few times to fully understand how you should operate it, what blades and bowls are perfect for what purpose and you will love it!

I am very satisfied with Magimix and it definitely is a great space saver and helping hand for many cooking and baking tasks and as mentioned with premium quality comes bigger responsibility and requirements.

The processor is very helpful at the daily tasks, it can mince, chop, grate etc. What I like about it most is that it has a safety lock. The machine won’t work unless you put all the pieces into the right position, it’s a very good feature especially if you have curious kids. Blades are sharp, instructions are a little bit complicated but understandable. That’s my first food processor machine and I only know approx how to use it from my childhood and I managed it somehow. It is sturdy, it doesn’t move even a bit when in operation.
The things I don’t like – when grating, it leaves pieces (see video) which is annoying, and you have to throw it away or do it by hand – which is taking time and that’s why you get a machine like this. Another thing that is not a major problem – is that when you are using smaller bowls, the bigger ones get “dirty” as well, so you have double or triple dishwashing, but it has a plus of easy cleaning.
Instructions – when I’m buying a product, I usually get instructions and if there is something else as a bonus, I get it separately. With this machine, I had quite a struggle. When I opened it, of course, I took the machine and bits out first and I wanted to try it but I couldn’t find the instructions, so I started to look for them on the Internet and I found, I also found that many people are complaining that the machine is not starting and they have wasted their money, this happened to me too, I thought that it’s not working, but I found on the internet how it actually works. After all that struggle of research I figured out how it works and it was ready to use, only then I have unpacked the recipe book, I don’t know at this point if I’m dumb or the seller thinks it’s a smart thing to do, but I strongly recommend to make them separately.

Wow! That was my first word when this beauty arrived, followed by ‘oh my this is the smaller one?’ As he looks big to me compared to my old food processor from years ago. It’s ‘compact’ but it isn’t small, and it’s so cleverly designed to do so many things in the kitchen I literally am giving away my electric grater and whisks as this Magimix Compact 3200XL food processor does it all and more. The base is a good compact size, it’s square and quite heavy (be warned) with excellent sturdy feet underneath), it holds the powerful 620w motor that’s very quiet for a food processor too and it’s guaranteed for 30 years which proves how confident Magimix are in the durability and quality of their products including this food processor. It comes with 3 BPA free plastic bowls that slot inside each other, the smaller is great for chopping smaller quantities using the mini blade, the midi bowl is designed for using with the round disc blades that slice or grate, there 2 of each for finer or thicker slices or grated pieces. All are stainless steel. Then the main bowl with the handle is designed for larger portions for chopping, blending, dough kneading and whisking using the appropriate supplied blades. The blades are stored in the supplied storage box.. there’s a handy spatula for getting out every last bit of your chopped or mixed ingredients and a blender mix that pops in the main bowl that ensures a smoother creamier mix, soup or sauce. Everything is of course dishwasher safe aside from the electric motor base.

The locking mechanism is well designed the main bowl slots into the black button on the base with a spring loaded mechanism in the handle holding it safely in place. The lid also clicks nicely into place from the left of the handle turning anti clockwise.

There are 2 pusher feeds, an extra wide one for long slices from vegetables like carrots or courgettes and another standard one that goes in on top of that one for putting vegetables or hard fruit in lengthways for round even slices. When whistling egg whites or cream, always remove the inner double pusher to let in more air to give more volume, the eggs whites will be stiffer too, gradually beaten.

It’s surprising quick and quiet, it feels powerful too. The buttons on the front are a simple, stop, auto and pulse. The auto is very cleverly designed to judge foods and go at a speed required. The pulse gives a quick powerful burst.

The food processor comes with a hardback book that clearly describes parts and their uses plus 100 wonderfully easy recipes and hints and tips from savoury food to deserts, cakes and even cocktails.

It’s a seriously a super food processor I’m am already very impressed with for his quality blades and build am surprised at its price level too it’s really good value, I wholeheartedly recommend this Magimix 3200XL food processor I am genuinely blown away by it, please see my photos, I hope my review is helpful to you, thank you for reading it.
