The DGD800Z cordless Die Grinder is powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included), to deliver up to 25,000 rpm. The Die Grinder is equipped with a torque limiter, to stop rotation, to protect the motor and for operator safety.
The Die Grinder has a stepped neck for working in tight spaces and with vent slots designed to direct the exhaust air away from the user. The slide switch has lock on function for operator convenience. A built in LED light flashes red when it is time to recharge the battery.
Round shaped collect nut reduces the possibility of damage.

la ho usata per toglire del metallo e fa il suo lavoro egreggiamente con la fresa metallica,(makita nel mercato italiano non li vende, e ho preso quelle generiche anche se scadenti fanno il suo lavoro per ora), non l’ho usato per molto tempo, unica pecca la regolazione di veloci

Mein gesamtes Elektrowerkzeug wurde zwischenzeitlich auf MAKITA umgestellt. Ich bereue keinen einzigen Schritt davon. Diese Marke erfllt seit vielen Jahren getreu ihren professionellen Dienst. Die Getriebe sind robust, die Elektromotore brstenlos und die 5Ah-Akkus solide. Das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis beinahe schon sensationell gut ! Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
Well I had my reservations about buying this because there is no speed control and some reviews weren’t happy about it. But took a chance and bought it anyway and I must say I’m extremely impressed with it it’s not slow nor fast it’s just right. I’ve come across die grinders in the past with one speed and they go silly fast but this is really impressive. A good rubber feel to it all around and very robust indeed has got a decent weight to it which you need with one of these. I will update this when I try it properly as I’ve only turned it on for now but I cannot foresee any problems.
Mache sehr viel unterwegs da ich land und Baumaschinen Mechaniker bin und da hat man fters mal Dinge wo man dieses Gert bentigt echt spitze einzige was mir fehlt eine drehzahl Einstellung sonst echt top
I have quite a few Makita cordless tools. I suddenly thought a cordless die grinder would be handy because Ive been doing window repairs. It’s dead handy not having to trail a lead around with you. The machine it’s self is great, if you really push it it will hesitate and you back off apart from that you can’t fault it. I don’t regret purchasing this.
With no access to air tools at the new job I have used one of these every day for 2 years! Just excellent quality from makita
It works just great. I have a lot of Dewalt and other tools, all with battery adaptors for Dewalt batteries so this bare tool was the perfect fit – for the price I consider it to be an excellent deal. I have other Makita tools and their quality have been very good.
I bougt this tool for work, and already it has saved me time.

Das Gert ist fr meine Zwecke sehr gut geeignet. Die klemmende Tr konnte in wenigen Sekunden abgeschliffen werden. Ich wrde das Teil wider kaufen.
Goede machine die veel klusjes kan klaren wat de meeste andere machines niet lukt. Gewoon uit de vrije hand gaten vergroten of sleuven verbreden. Niet echt geschikt voor precisiewerk, maar dat heb ik m ook niet voor aangeschaft. Dat zijn weer andere machines voor. Eigenlijk is variabele toerentalregeling het enige wat die mist. Verder ben ik er erg tevreden mee.
I bought this die grinder to use for a more complicated welding / fabrication job I’m tackling where a regular angle grinder won’t fit. I’m using it mainly with a carbide burr and it just eats steel away. Grinding stones work well too of course.
I was originally looking at corded electric die grinders but this was actually the least expensive electric die grinder I could find anywhere, and it just happens to be my preferred brand of tool. All my other cordless tools are Makita so it’s nice that I can just use the batteries I already have. I’ve been using compact 1.5 Ah batteries with it without issue. Bigger batteries might be better suited but for my use they’re fine.
Quality seems excellent as you’d expect from Makita. I’m surprised at how light and well balanced it is. Overall a premium tool.
When you use it you will find some useful news uses.
Incredibly quiet compared to the air tool I was using before, and I can’t seem to bog this unit down no matter how hard I try to dig into the metal. I was using a carbide burr to shape some 1/2″ steel well liner I have and the bit gave out but the grinder never did. Considering this tool is about 1/2 the price of the similar tool from another big name manufacturer I have to give Makita five stars for this one.
Doubt I’ll need to buy another but if this one gets lost/stolen/dropped I will get another Makita.

Leistung ist gut, nur leider ist die Drehzahl nicht einstellbar.
My only complaint would be a lack of collet options. I only have one wood carving burr that fits the 6mm collect. I’ve tried and returned a few sets that advertise themselves as 6mm, but in reality they’re 1/4″ or 6.35mm and don’t fit. That 0.35mm make a huge difference…
So, still on the look out for a 1/4″ collet, or some proper 6mm shank wood burrs. Either would make me very happy.

Another quality makita item in my collection, as a steel fabricator I use it every day for clean up weld preparation and for cleaning p weld splatter on the finished product. Super powerful and nice to use
So far so good. I have no reason to think this will give me any problems. I have several Makita products with no issues.
I just wish it was variable speed and had a swivel head to make it an angled die grinder. I don’t think anyone make this so…
performs what it was created for ..! the quality is excellent !!!
Obviously there will be a heavy battery fitted when you use it, so it’s a little unwieldy, but it’s powerful and has worked well.
Very powerful and does the job.
Never had a Makita tool that broke and I own more than 50 of them – I put lots of stress on them in very dusty environments.

It’s a Makita product sold for far less than in the stores. This is a great powerful and relatively cheap product. Would reccomend for sure.

Der Geradschleifer von Makita ist von gewohnter Makita-Qualitt. Sehr stabil gebaut und erledigt Schleif- und Frsarbeiten einwandfrei. Was mir fehlt, ist eine verstellbare Geschwindigkeit des Motors. Ansonsten sehr gu

La meuleuse droite est un peu une Dremel sous strode : elle fait tout ce que les meuleuses disque ne savent pas faire : travail prcis, travail dans une cavit, retouches. Travail du bois, du mtal, de la pierre, avec les outils de coupe adapts, tout est possible condition de se protger (masque visire obligatoire).
L’efficacit est remarquables avec des fraises au carbure de tungstne.
La meuleuse accepte une poigne supplmentaire standard de perforateur (diamtre intrieur de 47 mm); mais pour la monter, il faut enlever le manchon en caoutchouc qui protge l’avant de la machine : ridicule !
Cette meuleuse Makita a tout de mme a un dfaut srieux : pas de vitesse variable, c’est gnant et incomprhensible.
Pour la vitesse variable, j’ai personnellement choisi une Stayer filaire, donne et trs bien aussi.
Autre point curieux, pas de blocage d’arbre comme sur une dfonceuse il fait utiliser les deux clefs plates : comme dans les annes 70 !
Bref, un outil moderne et efficace avec deux lacunes tonnantes.

Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen.
Perfekt wre es natrlich mit einer Drehzahl-Regulierung.
Vielleicht kommt dies ja beim nchsten Modell.
Wrde ich mir wieder bestellen.

La Dremel es un juguete, esto es una mquina, en esta no se puede regular las revoluciones. Justo lo que quera por potencia y manejabilidad. Usillo de 6mm.

Excellent. If you need a tool like this, and know how to use it, then you will be pushed to find better. Time will tell how well it lasts.
