DHP484Z 18V Li-ion LXT Brushless Combi Drill – No batteries included

The DHP484Z has a variable 2 speed motor for a wide range of drilling, fastening and hammer drilling applications, high speed mode for speedy drilling in light duty applications and low speed mode for heavy duty applications requiring high torque. Powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included) to deliver up to 2,000 rpm / 30,000 bpm. The brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life, and efficiently uses energy to match torque and rpm to the changing demands of the application. There are 21 clutch settings and drill mode for added fastening control.
Convenient 13mm keyless chuck for quick bit changes, built in dual LED lights and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions.

This is a great drill, admittedly my first one of these died after a year as a result of heavy duty use for plumbing but, I’ve just ordered a second one. Sticking with this as does the job.
Used extensively on DIY site: done thousands of holes and another thousands of screws. On some isolated occassions: mixing gypsum plasters for a week. Very little metal work, but also some sheets 3mm. After 5 years the chuck blockade does not function properely: when tightening drill bits, it’s jumping on some internal latch twice or thrice before properly tightens the consumable. But you know what? I will buy another. With 80 It really paid yourself many times. No drill bit wobble observed.
Si est pensando en comprarse uno, este no le va a defraudar, yo estoy encantado con lo bien que va, es compacto y tiene fuerza, que el motor sea sin escobillas garantiza, que si la cuidamos bien, nos va a durar mucho, recomiendo soplarla despues de cada uso, sobre todo en madera o usos que le puedan meter polvo o partculas dentro, yo le desmonto la tapa trasera para una mejor limpieza.
With the correct bit goes through conctre and brick with minal force (on hammer mode).
Un ottimo avvitatore e non solo. Molto robusto e affidabile. Notevole anche la capacit battente, ho forato un muro portante in cemento armato in pochi secondi senza nessuno sforzo. Unica pecca, la luce non mette in risalto il punto di foratura e di per s lo strumento non leggerissimo soprattutto se viene utilizzato a lungo. In ogni caso lo consiglio. Affidabile e puntuale come sempre il servizio Amazon.
I love it plus it was on a deal where it the drill was 50 cheaper than screw… The torque is brilliant and being brushless I have more battery life (LXT batteries) and the size is smaller to fit into my tool bag. My initial test was to drill into a thick piece of wood using a new drill bit where the results were that the original 18V Makita (with brushes) took twice as long as the brushless, did I say that I was impressed. I am off to drill make something look like Swiss cheese.

Ottimo prodotto per costo, qualit e maneggiabilit, arrivato puntualissimo nelle sua confezione di cartone.
Good drill.. my only complaint is that the base is slightly bigger than my older model by Makita making the drill rather bigger in height when the battery is connected.. don’t know why Makita had to make it bigger as a smaller drill is easier to use in confined spaces.

I didnt realise how much i needed to replace my old drill driver. Well after it blew up after 15 years of service i decided to purchase this makita beauty. Its sturdy powerful and does the job amazingly well while being useful as a drill driver and hammer drill.
Perceuse reue 3 jours aprs l’avoir command, colis en trs bon tat. Perceuse livre dans sa bote d’origine Makita et neuve (ce n’est pas tout le temps le cas apparement). Jamais du de Makita ! Je recommande .

Ordinato e arrivato velocemente, la confezione era gi stata aperta, lo provo e con dispiacere noto che il mandrino gira fuori asse, provo a montare una punta e le mie sensazioni vengono confermate da un comparatore eccentrico di 0,5 mm faccio il reso e in tempo record arriva il nuovo che perfetto! grazie

Purchased to replace my faulty makita drill, it uses the same batteries so saved 200.
It is so much more powerful & the batteries now last twice as long as before also its at least 3 inches shorter so it fits into more confined spaces

molto potente ed affidabile un rurumuroso ma vabene cos,lo consiglio…
imputo il problema subito alla punta, cosi ne prendo un altra… stesso problema! cosi riprendo il mio vecchio black + decker 18v, entrambe le punte girano correttamente… a supporto di ci ho anche effettuato un foro col Makita con punta da 6mm su foratino, il foro venuto pi largo di quasi 2mm…. Inaccettabile!!!
oltretutto guardando il centro del foro si vede da subito che non gira correttamente, e non parliamo di tolleranza di Decimi di millimetro, ma bensi di millimetri!!! utilizzando le punte si crea un movimento elicoidale da far paura!!! Grande assistenza amazon che ha provveduto a sostituirmelo con uno nuovo….

Rien dire de plus mise par que pour une utilisation professionnelle le travail et bien fait .
Aussi efficace que ma perceuse Bosh mais sans le fil. il lui manque juste un porte embout de vissage pour le retrouver quand on l’enlve pour mette un foret et un guide de profondeur pour etre parfait.

Would i recommend you buy this drill? Hell yes. It’s expensive when you add up the cost of batteries and a charger, but it’ll last for years. Definitely worth the money

I have a makita drill with a G series battery for use at home and thought that was good but this drill although the same voltage has so much more torque, lovely piece of kit, it easily compares to my work mates Milwaukee 18v.
As for battery life , I know it’s good but not sure how good cos it shares batteries with my cordless grinder, with the battery fitted it’s nicely balanced.

Wir haben auf der Arbeit einen Hilti Akku Schrauber welcher dem Makita in sachen Handling hinterher hngt. Beide haben die gleiche Leistung. Es sei gesagt, dass der Hilti 700 kostet 😉
Ist als Bohrmaschine und Akkuschrauber bei FTTH Arbeiten im Einsatz, da habe ich bisher keine schlechten Erfahrungen mit gemacht. Preis ist fair.

Hier gibt es gnstigere Maschinen, die Ihre Arbeit spielend erledigen.
