A slick, gorgeous Sci-fi game with loads of story. Lovely graphics. A classic on the PC IMO.

I got right to the end of the first game back in ’08 then my bro traded it in. I remember it being annoying to play coz of the controls, but on PC is improved. I completed ME2 back in the day, but never really followed / remembered story in depth. Having fun going through this series as it feels fresh to me. Bashed through first game, I hope the rest are enjoyable!

The previous games came on disks and I think that was better as I have had a number of reloads that take ages compared to disks. B.ut I still love the game

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve only gotten a look at ME1 and I must say the game look spectacular, I have the old copies of all ME games and the mods (“Alot of textures” and “Alot of videos”, both found on Nexus mods) that BioWare used as a base for their upgrades, where the mods were light years beyond all 3 original games, this is beyond even that again.

The team that build the games used community standards at the base line for their upgrades to the games,
The upgrades look fantastic beyond what “Alot” and “Alov” did and they were fantastic.
In ME1 one of the biggest time wasters is thankfuly dealt with, the Elevators are skippable and so far I’ve found 4 things that I didn’t expect,
1 is cut/unused content like the news reports I’ve played ME so much if they were VHS tapes i’d’ve worn them out a dozen times over! There’s news reports I’m hearing that I’ve never heard before and

    2. The thrasher maw battles in ME1 have up changed, where you used to have to just kill the thing now it’s in stages and brings it in line with ME2’s thrasher maw you have to kill its “tentacles” and avoid them slapping you now

    3. The Mako’s new handling (driving) system which at time of release was based on where the nose of the Mako is pointing now the new version (which you can switch too) is based upon the direction of the players camera so if you hit the forward key and your camera is pointing behind you then you’ll reverse

    4. The attention to detail on the first planet Eden Prime now, makes it look more like the ME3 version with the pre-fab homes off in the distance.

    I will update
