Easy to install and come recommended by a number of letting agents. Just make sure you have a solid surface on which to drill and fix. These didn’t come with plugs, only screws, however I also used some reason to ensure a permanent fixing. Waterproof so far in some torrential rain. You can also change the combination by removing from the wall and following the instructions, well worth doing on a regular basis.
Mostly I was happy with this key safe. The instructions are not as clear as they might be but for the most part it is well designed and very robust. What I did find surprising was how relatively small and delicate the screws were that came with the package. It is hard to believe that they would be be difficult to lever out. But they are easy to replace with longer and more robust screws.
I had 2 reasons to select this particular keysafe and I am very glad I found it
1) The outer cover flap, hides and protects the combination wheels but I think it also makes it less obvious to passersby that it is a keysafe
2) The push buttons on the side make it easy to flip open the safe door, my mother has bad arthritic hands and she can easily open this one, where as other keysafes I have used, had a small plastic lever button to push down which I found awkward to use/open and dangerous to your nails 😀

Seems good quality, this is the second one I have fitted.
Bought for my father, who is disabled and has dementia and has carers in. They phoned us last week as they couldn’t gain access to his house, causing panic – so this was ordered and fitted within a few days. Turns out he was having an unusual lie-in that day, so all good, and peace of mind now in case it happens again.
Wanted a slightly bigger box (i.e. less fiddly buttons) than other key safes I’ve seen and this fits the bill. Seems very secure/solid, however as someone pointed out the hinge pin may be easy to knock out if mounted on a flat wall so I ensured mine was mounted in a corner with the hinge up against the bricks to prevent this from happening. Easy to operate and change the code and the hinged flap covers the combination lock mechanism so hopefully will protect it from the elements. Can’t comment on longer term reliability yet but hopefully will be OK.

The 1st unlock code is on a label on the back of the box.
A very good and easy to use key lock box that has been serving us well for more than 2 years already. We are very happy with our purchase and recommend this key lock box to anybody who is looking for one.
The only negative thing about this product is the ridiculous glue they use to stick the label onto the plastic weatherproof cover. It took me ages to get off and is still unsightly. Otherwise, I would have given the lock 5/5 overall.
Very good but not fully weather proof. Some water does get in when it rains heavily. Not a big deal if you only have a key in there.
Sturdy and fitted under cover so can’t comment on whether weatherproof.
Door does sometimes stick in cover, but cover is not “easy” to open – once familiar with operation it’s simple enough.
A good key case with plenty of room and a weather cover to keep the combi bit clean and dry. I have it fitted inside so cannot comment on resistance to weather but it does seem better than another well known brand I have.
When it first arrived the unlock mechanism was a bit stiff, and would not allow a code to be changed. I wrote to Master lock and explained. They suggested that I use WD40 where the unlock catches are and hey presto after a few trials working the unlock catches all is fine. I have positioned it low down by the step to increase security, so it is not so easily visible . My Handyman was surprised I wanted it so low down, as all the others he had fitted and seen were right beside the door eye height. Seems odd to me and less secure.
Good quality and good value. Installed in 20 mins (one of the screws did sheer but may have been due to not a big enough hole)
Very happy with the product. Had it up for several months now and no water gets in. The cover protects the number dial so it is still dry and rust-free. Enough room inside for my two Yale keys but will easily take 2 more at least. Enough room for dead-lock keys also but maybe only 1 or 2.
Replaced one which had locked a key on a lanyard in which had fouled the release mechanism.

Great product but remember (photograph) the number on back sticker before installing!
They have resolved the “code on packaging and delivery packaging issues” it arrives with the hasp around a large “button”.
Simply look on back for sticker, unlock to remove from button. No cable ties used anymore.
Works fine, cant see it being weatherproof as nothing seals around the metal just a plastic flap over dials, but it will stand the odd shower whilst under the car whilst I’m out on the water.

I have just gone on to Telecare and bought your key safe so that paramedics can get quick access to my flat. DIY installation is much cheaper and very simple to instal. I had checked about 20 similar products but yours was the one that ticked all the boxes. Of course the research could not show me the quality so I was really pleased to find out it was a really heavy and clearly strong secure product.

I purchased this for a family member as I have one myself. This is a sturdy piece of kit and is good value for the price.Make sure you read the back of the packaging BEFORE you attempt to open, as the stand by code is behind the key safe. I would recommend this key safe to any one.

This feels very secure, the combination can be easily changed (so suitable for Holiday Rentals etc.).

Good size, strong and easy to set the PIN and easy to open
I searched for a good one in the usual stores, and found this for 31. Liked it so much that I bought another one for me, and it was cheaper on Amazon. Would be even better if there was a hook or two for the keys as they get stuck when closing the door (as it narrows at the bottom) so can be a bit fiddly, but none I’ve seen have that feature.
Heavy, strong key box with large dials that are easy to move and easy to read
Sturdy and easy to use. Angled numbers make much easier to use than other models and much less fiddly. Cover over tumblers helps to protect.
These are great. The grandkids can always get in my house, …..without me having to replace their keys which they kept loosing on a very regular basis. Peace of mind. Solid, well made and easy to fit.

Have now fitted this. It is a very substantial unit. Tough thick metal and large chunky screws to fix to wall. Weather cover also good to protect from heavy rain.
Very sturdy key safe. My only criticism would be that the screws supplied are quite short – we put it up with 3″ screws – having said that if someone was to get it off the wall with the original fixings they would probably have to use a club hammer and then open it with an angle grinder!!

Unlike previous keysafe, this one is less likely to suffer damage from attack and numbers rotate freely, easy to open one handed unlike others on market.

they are not impenetrable and as with any key safe can be broken into if they really wan to get into them, but bear in mind if you do your research the amount of noise and effort to get into one it could be just as easy to get through a door or window so dont let this put you off
Excellent product to keep that spare key safe and available when needed, changed the combination to my number with no problems. Proved it’s worth after a recent lock out, strong and neat.
I like the cover – not so obvious what it is and keeps out dust. Well made and very solid. Fitting was easy, as there is a plate to use to line up the holes for drilling. I needed a safe to take longer keys and this is perfect for that.
I know the packaging was a pain – just follow the instructions. That would never put me off buying one of these, as the product is great.
Good delivery,sturdy key safe but is it nessecary to pack the thing so well like trying to break into a safe just to unpack, works well.
This is an excellent box, which is very heavy duty and easy to use. Yes, the packaging was a bit of a pain but not enough to complain. The only reason it has 4 stars is because the lever for changing the combination didn’t work and the original box had to be returned. There was no quibble for a free return from the seller and the replacement box works very well and it was easy to change the combination.
Very substantial and sizeable safe. Plenty of room for large keys. Easy to set own code. Easy to open packaging if you simply follow these instructions.
Remove the small circle as indicated on the reverse of the packaging. The two crossed cable ties are exposed and it’s just a question of cutting through them with scissors. That’s it! You are in!
The cover will protect against dirt but isn’t water tight, if it is in a position where it gets rained on.
All in all, it looks adequate and does the job, but it will take time to convince me that it secure enough.
Issues:
– poor packaging as detailed in other reviews
– no hook inside to hang keys – they have to propped up.
Very sturdy and far easier to operate than the standard push button type where the front falls off!
The other benefit is that it is so easy to operate that my young sons can also operate easily taking the worry away of them being stuck outside the house
Fabulous keysafe. better security as you need a particular order for your code not just entering in any order. Easy to change code if needed.
However the whole thing is let down by the most appalling packaging. It took me ages to cut the item out of the plastic carrier, it’s covered in stickers that don’t peel off without leaving a residue for you to clean off, and as other reviewers have said – look carefully on the back for a small white label which shows the combination code the factory has preset. Easy to lose this amongst all the scrappy sticky stuff everywhere. Hence four stars instead of five.
This is very good value and very good product having ordered late Saturday night it was installed on my wall by noon the next day. Have since seen locally at much higher price. So well done Amazo
It’s very good, we drill in on our door and fits well.
There is just one problem with those type of lockers is that you have to remember to shuffle the code after opening the box, otherwise it’s too easy for someone to look at the code and come back later.
A robust and reassuringly heavy product. Thoroughly recommended, but with two comments :
(1) The packaging is a nightmare and I am glad that I had read previous reviews that gave me the confidence to cut through the two retaining cable ties.
(2) The instructions for changing the combination are written on the basis that the safe has already been fixed in place and the open access door is hanging downwards, in which case references to moving the re-set lever inside “right and up” make sense.

The box is small enough to keep hidden from people you don’t want to know about it and sturdy enough that it would take a real effort to get into it.
Key box comes with fixings so that it can be attached to an external wall if you want and also a personalised PIN code if you want it.
Finding the PIN code to open the box was a little difficult but once found (on the back of the box) it was very straight forward.

I can recommend this product as a tough well made key safe that it easy to use
I bought this for my partners elderly parents who were in need of a safe place to put their keys for use in an emergency access situation. The lock looks tough and robust and should stand a fair amount of abuse by an intruder. It looks Ok on the wall. As it would require a sledge hammer to remove and open the safe, we mounted it in an place which was in full view of the neighbours. Any unauthorised attempt to open the safe should be evident. It was easy to fit the safe to the brick wall using the internal steel back plate as a marking out template. I had some difficulty trying to get the template out as it was a tight fit in the safe casing. I used larger screws than those provided which I felt gave a more secure fixing to the wall. Other reviewers comments regarding how to unpack the safe were very helpful as it is difficult to work out how to remove the unit from the sturdy packaging. I can’t comment on the problems experienced by other reviewers regarding the seizure of the dials as the safe has only been in use for a month. However the safe does seem to be well sealed from water ingress.
Secure and easy to use. Put it somewhere discreet. Great for rental properties so tradespeople can get access. I’ve had three of these installed at various properties for over a year and there have been no problems.
A great solution for when you forget your keys or the front door blows shut in a gust of wind. Sturdy and neat, it sits inconspicuously behind a drainpipe on the side of the house. A friend also has one for when the carers come in to tend to her husband. Big enough for a ring of 3-4 door keys.
Works really well. Screws are short but it is tight to the wall. If anyone rips it off I will change the locks before they break in to this item.

Works fine. I live in an exposed coastal location so was a little concerned about corrosion. I’ve had this in place for just over six months now from winter through to summer and it is still work just fine. I use it for emergencies when main keys are mislaid and I had reason to use it one three or four occasions without problems. Please note I did give it tumblers a precautionary spray of WD40, but I thinks thats just common sense living where I do.
We wanted to be able to keep a keep safely stored outside the back door so that when we went out mountain biking we didn’t have to take a key with us.
We selected the spot on a wall by the house that is out of sight from preying eyes but easily reached by anyone who needs access.
We processed to drill the holes in the wall and put the product in place. Reading the instructions on how to set the code, hubby processed to take this action. However, he hadn’t managed to load one of the numbers correctly so when it came to trying to open it wouldn’t. Panic broke out, how were we going to get this open. It is now locked so there is no way of getting in or now taking off the wall.
After a little patience and trying to retrace what we had done wrong, I manipulated the buttons to such that we were able to open the box. I then set the code properly much to the relief of my hubby. Although this isn’t an overly expensive item it would have been such a waste if were not able to use it.
I’ve managed to stick a couple of hooks on the inside of the padlock so that we can store a number of keys without having them fall out as we open the box.
It is a great now being able to go out without having to fear losing a key whilst out on my mountain bike.
This is exactly what I wanted. You can’t get a huge bunch of keys into it, but it is certainly heavy-duty and does the job well.
So far, the Masterlock 5415D has proved invaluable. I have installed 2 recently at 2 different addresses. they are easy to install and set up and have a robust build quality.
Very solidly built. Haven’t tried to reset the combination yet, but have every confidence. Slight disappointment that the securing screws supplied don’t really match the spec of the item itself, but I will cure that.

I bought this to save my boys having to take a key to school, they are yr 7 and 9. It’s brilliant, the amount of times they would forget to take a key and it would cause chaos . It’s easy to install , the original code is on the back in a small bit of folded paper. The code is easy to change and is in the instructions. Also now when I pop to the bin and the door shuts on me , or for any other reason , I can get straight back in. I don’t know how I managed without one, well made and a great buy.
So far I love it. I’ve still got to get it to survive a Yorkshire winter.. but crossing my fingers.
