Der Schlsselsafe ist doch erheblich grer und viel schwerer als erwartet. Schn, dass man bis zu 10 Ziffern eingeben kann. Die Installation war etwas aufwndig, weil die mitgelieferten Schrauben nicht so ohne weiteres in die Wand wollten. Haben 2 Stck neue Bohrer (Gre 3) abgebrochen. Letztlich haben wir ein greres Loch gebohrt und mit Dbeln gearbeitet.

En la foto del producto sale un mando a distancia, y no es viable o es muy complejo.
Compre por la recomendacin de Amazon un cable retrctil para las llaves, y ms problemas.
Al cerrar la puerta de la caja de llaves yo tengo que hacer mucha presion, cerrar y girar el pomo.
No lo comprara para otro lugar y ms an para llave mando de alarma.
I had anti-snap locks installed and they are long, so I had to change my key safe to larger one. This is super easy to use and very sturdy.
Be aware, this thing is heavy! Nothing like the 25 master lock key safes, this is big, heavy and built to last and you will have no problem fitting keys in it. The buttons are really easy to operate which was the main consideration for my elderly father.
I have added a photo with it next to a samsung remote for size reference.
Seriously, this thing could be used as a bank vault. It is amazing! I can just about lift it up with one hand is so heavy.
I have to Seriously say READ THE INSTRUCTIONS before you set the lock code as you can break the box if done incorrectly and it voids the warrenty according to instructions.
It also needs socket drivers and a 8mm socket head; NOT screws. I added a picture of the bolts they send you so you can see what you need to fit it.
I can’t complain. I do wonder how safe all these vulnerable eldery patients are with the 13.99 lock boxes outside their houses. Clearly they are not tamper proof and this beast proves that!
No one will get into it. I think you would have to throw a bomb at it! Ive had a good go at trying to break in. Nah.. it aint going anywhere. Love it!!! Now I feel real safe and my kid doesnt get locked out.
No faults at all. Brilliant and well worth 90! (But mine was on offer so cheaper; lucky me!)

Feels VERY sturdy, to the point it makes installation a bit tricky. Mounting material provided for brick walls, BYO for other surfaces.
Botier super solide : pour les cambrioleurs, il vaut mieux s’attaquer une porte ou une fentre plutt qu’au botier… 😉
Modification du code trs facile (garder la notice quand mme…).
Attention, l’ordre des chiffres et des lettres importe peu !! Donc le code A1234 est quivalent 4213A. Et le code A1003 est impossible entrer puisqu’il ne faut qu’une seule fois chaque lettre/chiffre.
En revanche, l’installation a t un peu galre :
il est indiqu dans la notice de faire des trous de 3 mm sur 75mm de profondeur puis d’largir 5 mm sur 40 mm de profondeur !! Vu que j’avais 4 vis marques M6x70, j’avais de gros doutes !! En ayant cherch sur internet, il faut en fait faire des trous de 8 mm sur 70 mm de profondeur (faire plutt 75 mm !!). Ensuite, ce sont des vis trs particulires dans leur fourreau (quivalent d’une cheville mais beaucoup plus solide) et il faut qu’elles rentrent jusqu’au bout sans forcer (d’o ma prconisation de 75 mm), sinon vous alllez commencer carter les embouts et il est impossible de les retirer et donc faire machine arrire. J’ai du finir au marteau pour qu’elles rentrent !!
Aprs installation, a ne bouge pas d’un millimtre ! C’est vraiment top !

The safe is weatherproof, and sturdy, and easy to use by carers etc. who need to let themselves into my mothers bungalow. Installation was a bit difficult, but due to the confined area I had to work in.
Looks like it should last. It is very heavy and definitely large. It says to install in a concealed location where possible but that would be difficult for most people I assume. It is finally on the wall and I’ve tested opening and locking it a few times. It seems to do the job. Setting up the locking was a bit tricky. There is a video for installing but not for setting up the locking.
The only trouble is installing it. You will need a few good tools and some of the requirements are unrealistic. For instance, were can you get a 3mm drill bit that is able to go 80mm deep? By the time it is fixed in the drill, it would need to be 90mm long…. you can only get that for thicker drill bits for good reason (long thin ones snap). However, it also said to use a long 5mm bit to widen out the holes (but only to a depth of 40mm). In the end I had to use that one all the way in for the long screws. It doesn’t come with raw plugs because they are not needed for this type of screw into brick.
In the unlikely event that someone could prise this off the wall with a crowbar, they would leave obvious damage to the brickwork, and then they would still have to get into the solid box. From that point of view it seems very secure.

The horizontal pin (holding the combination number drop-down door) on the front can easily be knocked out using a special tool. This would obviously compromise the entire purpose of the lock!!! However, if you install in a corner position (e.g. against a brick wall) it will prevent anyone from knocking the pin out. Bear in mind someone can still knock the retaining pin sideways into any soft surface (such as wood) so ALWAYS make sure the adjoining surface to the left or right of the lock in the corner you install it in is metal or brick/concrete.
WOULD I STILL RECOMMEND?
YES! Other than that, it’s a really sturdy and weatherproof lock, the best available for securing your keys outside. As long as you know the security compromises detailed above then I would definitely recommend buying this product.

Extremely heavy and difficult to get out of the packaging. However, it was easy to fit at the holiday accommodation and although more expensive than most of the key safes, it was definitely worth it.

The instructions for drill sizes are WRONG! Had to buy new bolts after having to take an angle grinder to two of them. THe M6 bolt need an M8 drill – NOT 3mm and 5mm – those sizes are pure fantasy! Fitted now and works a treat.

Attention l’espace intrieur est relativement petit. Pas question de mettre un gros trousseau de cls ou un grand porte cl. On peut mettre sans aucun problme par exemple une cl et une tlcommande de portail.
Secure but not the easiest to install. Had to purchase separate fixings as those that were supplied were not the best. It is however a good product and will do the job for you
being disabled this key safe is very secure. Living in a ver bad area no one has made an attempt of interfering with it and I’ve had it six months now. I think the shear sight of that thick outer shell puts any would be burglar off. I’d advise anyone to get one. Just remind your carers to lock it before coming in.

Bought 3 of these to house the keys for my holiday lets. Easy to set up the unique codes and seem nice and sturdy and are easy for guests to use. So far so good, hopefully they’ll last for many years.
Positives: very solid compared to most others I’ve seen. Heavy duty. Weatherproof. Easy to use. Only 4 holes to drill.
Negatives: the fitments and instructions didn’t match at all! The screws/plugs that were actually provided were far superior to what instructions suggested but took me a bit of time to work it out without correct instructions – I’m a novice DIY’er but managed. So ultimately not a negative.
So far so good! Very heavy secure box, easy to set up, the only slight initial issue was the fact that the bolts have been uprated in their size since the instructions were written, needed a 10mm socket (not 8mm) and an 8mm drill bit (not 5mm) not anything major and nice to know they are stronger.
The product itself is just as described and simple to use. The installation instructions are incorrect however they say to use a 5mm drill bit but the item is supplied with M6 wall anchors that require an 8-10mm diameter hole.

Oh yes, it is secure — in the packaging! It took about 20 minutes to extract it from all the sticky film and tie wraps. Most time spent locating the compartment hidden under the film on the back where the accessories were hidden.
The key safe is a bit disappointing. The manufacturing tolerances appear to be very slack so the locking panel is lose on the hinge and is wobbly. The weather cover is flimsy and falls off its pivot easily. Don’t know how long the cover will last. The arrows on the code setting screws are not very clear and difficult to see.
The fixing bolts supplied are not those in the illustration. The ones supplied are anchor bolts and need to be fully inserted in the brick before starting to tighten so the instructions are not correct. Also, the bolts supplied do not pass though the holes in the safe but have to be dismantled and reassembled when in the holes in the safe. And, who knows where you can get a 3mm masonry drill that is 100mm long to drill the pilot hole 75mm deep? The instruction say to enlarge the holes to 5mm but the bolts are 7mm and not threaded as in the illustration. Amazon have made a partial refund so I can purchase the correct style of bolt.
I’ve been waiting 6 days for Master Lock to reply to my enquiry about mounting the key safe with the bolts supplied or to recommend an alternative fixing, but no reply so far (they state they will reply within 48 hrs. of receiving an enquiry). Hence it has not yet been installed.
Otherwise, it looks as though it will do the job. Experimenting with the code setting I have found that at least 9 digits (which would give approximately 240,000 combinations) can be set and see no reason why all 14 buttons cannot be set, though that would probably be an obvious combination.
In short, it is well worth spending the extra money to get something that actually will work and will last.
Aus Grnden der Sicherheit habe ich mich fr die “hchste Sicherheit” entschieden. Das Teil ist sehr schwer und macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Diese Ausfhrung ist doppelwandig und extrem robust. Die Bedienung ist sehr leicht und selbst mit Handschuhen mglich. Nun kann mein Sohn keinen Schlssel verlieren und wir haben ein “Back Up” wenn ein Schlssel irgendwo vergessen wird.

Petit coffre clef idal pour laisser les clefs de la maison / voiture… Le tout en scurit l’entre de la maison. Le coffre est assez grand pour mettre 2/3 clefs. Il est plutt lourd et l’air d’tre robuste. Attention pour le montage, il faut un fort de diamtre 5 avec une longueur de 100 MM min, car la fixation est ralis uniquement avec les vis (pas de chevilles). La mise en place du code est expliqu dans la notice, mais c’est un peu complexe. Une fois le code dfini, l’utilisation quotidienne est facile.
