Having spent a great deal on getting my father’s watch repaired we wanted to have a way to keep it working when it wasn’t being worn. When researching, we did find far more expensive and fancy watch winders but thought it best to try this modestly price version first. This winder was recommended by the jewellers who had organised the repairs and so far it seems to be working really well. Time will tell though.

The box has a perspex window, looking and feeling very robust. It comes with simple instructions. Simply place the watch into the box, plug the adapter in, switch on from the back and the winder will rotate the watch clockwise for 2 minutes, pause for 6 minutes and rotate anti-clockwise for 2 minutes, pausing for 6 minutes, and repeats this continuously.
The motor is whisper-quiet and you can barely tell it is on. I have mine plugged in near my nightstand and it defo does not keep me awake even though I’m a light sleeper.
I’d highly recommend this to anyone who owns an automatic watch.
The product was perfect a cheap product does the job extremely well , I have small wrists so was scared the watch band would be too tight for the cushion but it was a perfect snug fit , it’s quiet and looks incredible dosent feel cheap and seems it will last if you take basic care of it ( the watch shown is a 2021 seiko prospex sumo )

The watch winder is doing just what I needed for it to do — keep my watch wound up. I sit at the computer all day – typing on a keyboard is not enough movement throughout the day to do the job, so my watch was always winding down. This has solved the problem.
Easy to use. Quiet motor. Could do with extra foam to pad out the cushion as my watch does not fit snugly and tends to slip on each rotation thereby making a slight clicking noise.
A great piece of kit,should have bought one ages ago.Would not be without it now. Great putting my watch on in the morning without having to adjust the time.
I have a large wrist and the strap remains loose on the ‘cushion’ meaning the watch drops each time it turns around. Is quiet in operation. Only one setting but is nicely made and assuming it continues to work is good value
Does exactly what it should do and the timings off the rotation/ start and stop is perfect, I have it on my bed side table and like a quiet room when I sleep, it sounds like a fly or a wasp, it’s not loud but loud enough to be irritating. Looking to replace with a silent one

Excellent watch winder, quiet and efficient. Winds clockwise for 2 minutes rests for 6 minutes then winds anti clockwise for another 2 minutes. Great value for money.

I bought this to keep my moderately expensive watch running and it works great! Literally silent from across the room, I never hear it. Keeps the watch in constant time which also helps prevent things seizing up if not worn for a while. Build quality is ok, it’s a cheap watch winder sooo… but it works well!
Took a chance on this, to replace another budget version and this is much better. Not totally silent but pretty close. Not loud enough to keep you awake on a bedside table. Battery is for backup really, lasted about four days on battery power.
Very good value and so far does what it says.

I have mine on my bedside table and cannot hear it. On a 6 minute timer and moves alternatively in opposite directions giving an even distribution. Oh and it looks good also. Highly recommend this product.

A no nonsense piece of kit which does what it says on the tin in so much it keeps one of my watches in good fettle (if not at perfectly accurate time) for the long periods when I am not wearing it. Sits under my bed and I have no issues with noise, etc
It looks good. It is well constructed and holds the watch securely. It is quiet enough to leave in the bedroom whilst running and not disturb your sleep. It is definitely worth the money.

Unreal, was a present for my dad and I didn’t want to pay stupid money, it’s just as good as the expensive one. To keep time with an automatic watch it spins for 2mins then stops for 6mins to save battery as the watch doesn’t have to be constantly under rotation to keep time

I have an Omega Speedmaster which I don’t always wear, it’s been in the watch winder for over 6 weeks and it’s still accurate on the time, I’ve had to adjust the date after February but other than that it’s keeping perfect time. I have it plugged in by my bedside (I don’t use batteries) and it’s quiet and doesn’t disturb my sleep. I would buy another one and recommend
I love the watch winder because you have the choice to run it on 2 aa batteries or with the supplied ac adaptor.
For the 30 price this watch winder is excellent value, good to look at and great quality.
It’s also soundless when little more than half a metre away.
Added bonus is it runs on AA batteries, but also that it has a power lead for long term use.

Bought to replace a similar model which lasted about 30 months. This is smarter, cheaper and quieter. It’s great. As for its longevity we’ll have to see but looking good so far.

The watch winder does everything that is advertised it is totally quite and is is good to look at.
I’m only recently ‘in’ to automatic watches and I made the mistake of buying two different ones… meaning that one of them will periodically stop due to lack of wear! I’d never even heard of ‘watch winders’ before, but a random Google search one day got me interested -and the price of this one made it a plausible ‘give it a go’ speculative purchase.
It runs entirely silently: it winds forward for 2 minutes, then backwards for 2 minutes, then sits idle for 6 minutes. In either phase of its operation, it’s impossible to hear it doing anything, to the point where I had to watch it like a hawk for quite a long time to make sure it was actually doing the forward/backward winds, because whenever I looked up at it initially, I always seemed to catch it in the ‘idle’ period! But yes, it does work: you just literally can’t hear it.
The case it comes in is leather (or faux-leather, I can’t tell): it looks good either way and isn’t out of place on a nice desk or dressing table.
My ‘spare’ automatic (a Citizen) has been whirling away in the thing for a couple of days -and is still running nicely. So it definitely seems to be doing the job (because I’d expect the unworn Citizen to have run down by now). The instruction sheet -slightly worryingly- mentions that an almost-unwound watch probably won’t be wound up by this turner sufficiently (and thus recommends a manual wind before loading it into the device), but that isn’t something I’ve had to deal with as yet.
It is nice not to have spent a fortune on something that looks fine, sounds perfect (i.e., it doesn’t sound at all!) and does what it said it would do. Recommended.
Did consider more expensive options, but glad I chose this one.
A well made reliable method for keeping your automatic watch functioning.
Been using this for about 5 days now and has been keeping my automatic watch working . It’s very quiet when turning and the overall finish looks like it’s more expensive than it was.
One small complaint. I have quite a large wrist and my non adjustable metal strap is too big for the central holder. I found a not so elegant solution of using a folded cloth to get it to fit and hold it in place but a larger holder that could squash for smaller watches would make more sense.
Was very impressed with the product, didn’t expect it to be that big though,very silent,you can just about hear a slight whir from the motor. So far the watch isn’t losing time.

I received a new automatic watch for my birthday and as I will only wear it at weekends I needed something to keep the watch time correct, I’m think the winding box seems well built and looks very nice,the electric motor is quite and it’s on for two minutes off for six and seems to keep my watch ticking nicely.
So overall I’m happy with this product.
On unwrapping item went to insert batteries and one of the springs that hold batteries popped out to meet me. Had hope to use batteries to operate the gyro. Hey ho ended up using power cable. Performs well apart from that.
This is the second watch winder I’ve bought, both almost identical, my first one lasted 3 years but then the switch started to play up. At this price point I really couldn’t grumble and buying a second one just made so much sense. Great product and great value.
Great unit and stops all the worry of your watch needing regular services. With the watch fully wound this allows all working parts to remain working thus eliminating the risk of expensive service costs due to non use.
Considering the price it’s pretty well done.
My only observation would be that it’s bigger than I expected.
If I was buying another I’d definitely pay more attention to that.
If you have a mechanical automatic watch you really do need this winder, especially if you don’t wear the watch very often. It is silent, very reliable and you will wonder how you managed without it. A very good buy.

only downside i could comment about would be the pad the watch sits in could be a tad bigger, as if you have not removed any links in the bracelet, the watch is loose in the cradle.
