Blue Switches
2.2 mm Pre-travel
4 mm Actuator Travel
50 cN Actuation Force
50-million-keystroke lifespan
In the world of mechanical keyboards, different types of switch are represented by different colors. Blue switches are characterized by their ultra-fast response, satisfying key travel, and crisp click as the key press is registered. Blue switches are louder and more tactile than all other classes of switch, particularly Red switches and Brown switches. They are also easier to actuate than Black and Green switches, which makes them more suitable for long-term use. The distinctive experience Blue switches provide has made them greatly popular among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts, and they are used by wide range of users, from professional gamers to typists.

I’ve had a number of 100+ mechanical keyboards and using any reasonable measure that factors in price, this annihilates them all. It doesn’t have a fancy coating, it’s not wireless, it doesn’t have dedicated media keys but it does have a price so low it feels perverse.
I love this keyboard.Went from a membrane to this and I do not regret my decision. Great RGB lights and nice feel to type and play games on. Highly recommend.
Visible in total darkness, I love it but there is no number pad
The keyboard is heavy which I feel is of good quality, when gaming you don’t really hear it as you have headphones or speakers playing but the keys when pressed can sometimes sound cheap which can be expected for the price. The lights glow really nicely and can be changed upon pressing a few buttons.
Really good keyboard if you are on a budget, there is no need to spend 100+ when you can get this quality at this price
Absolutely amazing value for money, i have no complaints for this keyboard other than it not being wireless but for 20 you can’t complain about that. It’s made of plastic and metal so it feels super high quality. Blue switches are great and the lights are nice as well. Even though each row is a certain colour it still looks really nice, looks amazing to set itself apart from your otherwise very consistent (and may i say boring setup) making it pop a little more. Best purchase in a while for sure!!
after reading reviews id recomend getting this but you could either get a faulty one or perfectly fine one the faulty oness could have keys stop working or rgb faults but that risk comes with any eyboard so overall id gve it a 5 🙂
Very value for money keyboard, with many settings, however brightness could be better.
This is surprisingly actually mechanical, good quality and at a great price.
Bright rgb switches give you a really good mechanical feel and are very loud if that’s what your looking for and has a lot of rgb features
This keyboard is great for its value and I would recommend buying i
The best keyboard I’ve ever had it feels like a 200 keyboard the lighting is so good and bright and the light modes are fantastic it’s heavy and dosnt move ,with cable management lines at the deck of the keyboard
Great mechanical keyboard. quite loud but feels really nice and animations are nice as well.
I bought this keyboard with the risk of it not working as it was so cheap but since buying it i have realised it is amazing, it is a brilliant budget keyboard and it has brilliant value for money
Great sounding keys, amazing feel. 9/10 because there isn’t full RGB on each key.
It is an amazing mechanical keyboard, not just for gaming bit it also very nice to type on i
Don’t be fooled by the cheap price and unknown brand! Previously I had a hyper x alloy (Cherry MX blues) and the space bar broke off, so I decided instead of paying a load of money for another mechanical keyboard I went with this one.
I am so happy with this, the keyboard feels quality it has a metal backplate, the blue keys feel nice and clicky, it’s easy to type on and the keyboard doesn’t look too ‘gamery’ whilst I can tell they aren’t cherry blues I can say this is a great copy of them, I highly recommend especially for the price! Love it!
For the price I got it at with was I think around 17 pounds this was a bargain . Even at its normal price this is an amazing keyboard. Very sturdy and got some heft to it so the build quality is up there with the branded companies 5 times the price. The blue switches are very clicky abit annoying for the neighbors at nigh
Bought this for my son for gaming and he loves it.
The various RGB options are really good but do bear in mind that each row has a colour and that cannot be changed.
The mechanical keys seem strong and loud which is what you’d expect from a mechanical keyboard.
I’ve knocked a star off because there’s a couple of keys where the print could be a bit better. For the price though it’s not a problem.
Bought as a gift for a young cousin. He loved it for gaming with a well know game console.
A very satisfying click with every keystroke. A very well built keyboard that just feels great. What a bargain for 25! Highly recommended!
good value keyboard and my son is over the moon.
Fantastic keyboard, continues to light up without use to give of a nice look, sounds great when been used
I have hade this keyboard for 3 month now and I have not had one problem with it, I would put it up there with some of the 50 + keyboards. I recommend.
Really impressed with this keyboard for its price. Feels well made and it is comfortable to type on for prolonged periods. The coloured LED backlighting looks good and the ability to be able to customise the light sequencing is also a good feature to have. Overall you cannot go wrong with this keyboard for the price.
Really nice quality. From cable to keys. Many light up functions on the backlit keys. Nice mechanical action. Very clicky! So if you want quiet – it’s not this. Seems like a steal at this price compared to 100 KBs elsewhere.
For a lower end mechanically keyboard this keyboard is great, and far exceeded my expectations for the price, it has a nice weighted feel to it and the keys have a nice feel to them. I would recommended this
This thing is an absolute bargain and is of outstanding quality for the money. A true mechanical keyboatd feels like nothing else and this one is up there with the much more expensive boards.
If you are not in to the whole RGB thing this thing looks very stylish even without and is an absolute pleasure to type on.
Built like a tank, very solid and weighty, does not move on the desk, nice cable with routing, well spaced out keys with the amazing feeling of proper mechanical keys and some reasonably tasteful lighting.
The only very tiny criticism would be that the font on the number keys is a little difficult to read but that is being extremely nit picky!!!
No hesitation in recommending this but be aware it is the blue switch mechanical so will be a little louder than your average keyboard.
My go to keyboard now!!!
For starters, the keyboard comes in a sturdy box, which is good to protect the keyboard. The keyboard base is metal, the keys plastic and jixian blue for switches. From what I can read online these switches could be swapped out for cherry clear keys or whatever your desire is. However for a cheap keyboard with many rgb modes and decent brightness, it simply provides a nice experience. The switches has a nice clicky sound, I would say they are loud, but perform very well for a cheap mechanical keyboard. This is my 1st mechanical keyboard, to be honest I was not worried if it was gonna be or not, I wanted rgb and compact size. I highly recommend for any starters, who want that clickly type keys. For someone that has not had a clicky keyboard like this, is enjoyable. I have on the otherhand used, retro keyboards from the 90’s and owned saitek backlit keyboard and then a cheap rgb plastic keyboard, so I would say Rii keyboard is on my highest recommendation due to it being so easy to use, and does not cause discomfort. I am more than happy with it, just hope it lasts.
This keyboard is fab I recommend it to gamers as I am a game
Bought this item after watching a review on YouTube I was sceptical at first but when I unboxed this keyboard I was very happy as the build quality is amazing for a an item in its price range quality is on par with keyboards twice it’s definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get into gaming at a budge
We are the Apple family and my daughter asked if she could have a keyboard so she could have her MacBook Pro further away from her and raised up. Was expecting her to want the Apple keyboard and having to shell out almost a hundred quid but to my surprise she showed me this one and said that she had researched it and was the one she absolutely wanted.
I tried to talk her out of it as I am now so used to the lovely short travel of the keys on the Apple keyboards and how they are less fatiguing (I touch type and spend a lot of my day sending emails for my business) but she was adamant that this was the one she wanted. My next concern was if it somehow conflicted with the Apple IOS as it was not an Apple product or one that is certified by them but the reviews seemed to show that it would be OK.
Took the plunge and my Prime membership meant that ordering on Saturday meant that I had it for Sunday 🙂
Gave it to my very excited daughter and we plugged it in and after a couple of questions on the MacBook it was good to go. I still have my reservations about the key travel but she absolutely loves it and I must say that the sound that the keys make is quite satisfying and oozes build quality. Also, the light show it gives when connected to the computer is delightful.
So, to finish up all I can see is that she is very happy with it and if she’s happy, I’m happy 🙂
I bought this keyboard at a black Friday deal.
I personally own a really good “HyperX Mechanical Keyboard” which cost 90. When I switched my keyboard with this keyboard it felt really weird. It has a “sharp” click to it, and it is much softer. It felt weird when I used this first time, but I decided to use it for a week and after a few days I really started to dig this keyboard. Now, after a week of using it, I have to say that I really enjoy typing on It.
It has really nice lighting modes (it has a lot of light modes). The lights are not that bright, but I like that, because it is not distracting me, and it still looks really, really good.
This keyboard also has a nice weight to it, it feels just like a premium, more expensive keyboard. It is also really solid and sturdy, and without any flex in its base.
I think this keyboard is really really good for the price, and, once you get used to it you will love it more and more every day.
Noisy, but not more than any other Cherry MX blue keybaord. Takes time to get used to it.
Otherwise the keyboard is a real bargai
Item arrived within 4 days. Very happy with process if order. Item was as ordered and totally satisfied with product which is a gaming keyboard. Good quality.
Arrived a day early! Neat keyboard, seems heavy and high quality. Keys not too clicky, and the lights are attractive. Excellent for the discounted price.
I noted some of the pictures displayed a keyboard with a clear/silver looking base, mine was black like the advertised pictures. Lights up great, good size keyboard and the keys make an almost ASMR noise. Cable is wrapped around in a braided casing and feels sturdy. Has legs for the top part to prop up keyboard. Super happy with purchase
This Mechanical Keyboard is great value for money. I have another budget mechanical keyboard that has developed a fault but still usable. So I thought of a replacement. That keyboard cost 29 so when I saw this keyboard at about half the price, I went for it. It is not refined. The legibility of the letters is less than the keyboards that cost a bit more. But considering what it offers and the current price, I still think it is a great buy.
It doesn’t show by way of lighting if caps are on or off, I am not sure that would have been too much to implement so as to prevent them from offering it at a very low price. But what is important for me is that it works as expected, the tactile response when typing and very fast as a Mechanical Keyboard should be.
What a surprise that this mechanical gaming keyboard turn out to be brilliant. Great feel and the quality is great with nice clicky sounds. I had other smaller keyboard by this brand before but this has exceeded my expectations. The RGB lights is great with many different scenes to choose from. A great keyboard at a great price.
I recently bought this to replace one of my more expensive “mechanical keyboards”. If you’re looking for a mechanical like (switches are little less crisp compared to other mechanical switches) keyboard that is cheap and reliable and most of all feels good then this is the keyboard for you. The only downsides are the switches and the plastic shroud that around the outside of the metal switch board. Also the keys are a cheaper plastic however this is 25 and i don’t think any other keyboard can better the price without special offer.
Great keyboard for the price very loud typing but I like that some people don’t.
The Keyboard is amazing for the price, the lights are really bright even in day time and typing feeling on it is amazing.
The build quality is also really good, the bottom is made out of good quality hard plastic and the top is metal, and so it doesn’t bend or anything. The switches are not build in the keyboard so it doesn’t collect dust as much and can be easily cleaned.
The switches are nice a click-y which I love, blue switches all the way.
Over all if you are looking for a good quality mechanical keyboard that doesn’t cost a lot this is a perfect option.
Out of the box, and this is not a light keyboard; you’ll get plenty of exercise if you need to move this around a lot, like some of us!
Be aware that the keys layout is American and not UK, but the small differences are quite easy to adapt to.
The lighting configuration options are challenging, but I eventually found a good random one that’s great in the evenings.
One major plus-point: During the daytime, you can use the Fn+ down arrow, to completely switch off the LED backlighting; great if you have lots of natural daylight to ensure you can see the keys.
The mechanical clunks and fluid movement of the keys themselves are a delight.
A great product for its price. If you are looking for a quiet keyboard get something else. If you are looking at a cheap mechanical keyboard that works really well this is the right choice.
Heavy and good quality, mechanical keys are satisfying and the individually controllable LEDs, however they aren’t colour changing, but the effects are endless
I needed a new keyboard to share between my home PC and office set up during lockdown(s) and wanted a mechanical keyboard purely for aesthetic; therefore I didn’t want to pay big bucks for it. I also dabble in PC gaming, and my existing keyboard wasn’t a great companion.
For the price, I wasn’t expecting something this chunky and great to use. It is responsive and does what I need it to do. The LEDs are good fun too and look great in the evenings.
A fantastic and well priced keyboard. Fantastic light settings, very pleased. 🙂
Having worked in IT for 30 years and having 5+ spare keyboards at home I was casually looking through the keyboards on amazon and came across this one and thought it looked nice and had great reviews. I then decide to do some cleaning up and BAM, I spilt cover my Dell keyboard that I had been using for years.
Anyway, the Dell keyboard become unusable and I thought “I’ll buy this one”. Now, my other keyboards have been more expensive and just cheap plastic chicken doo daa so I was a bit weary.
Well this little beauty arrived today. Very neatly packaged. Fairly small and had a bit of weight to it. I unwrapped the keyboard and was pleasantly shocked. It looks like it’s worth more than it is. Both the kids (gamers) looked at the keyboard and were trying to waggle me out of it and told them where go.
Now came the official turning on/connecting ceremony.. I said few nice words and then plugged in the keyboard and wow. There’s a great display of lights when the keyboard is first connected but i’m not sure if it’s purely for the eye or for diagnostics. Anyway, for the next 30 minutes me and the kids just sat and played with keyboard going through all the lights.
To move on, I have been using the keyboard for a good hour now and I have to say this is the best keyboard I have
used to date. I’m not missing the numeric keyboard, the keyboard sits perfectly on my knee and the number of typing errors has decreased dramatically. I love the mechanical click sound and the feel of the keys is great. I wished I had bought this much sooner to be honest but yeah, this is the best keyboard I’ve ever had so far.
I’m going change the light display to “Christmas Tree Mode” later hahahaha and I’m gonna bin the other crappy keyboards and get myself a few more of these.
Bloody Love it.
Thanks Team.
This is one of the best keyboards also it is clicks whitch is so nice also it is very cheap it has a black board it lights up lovley had it for a week its great to type on and game on also its strong a bit heavey and does not move its fab you should get this good for the money and it clicks try and find a good clicky one because this will be the cheapiast and best. 🙂
This is a fantastic product, blue switches not cherry mx but come on its 25 quid, it also has a nice heft to it and does not feel cheap in the slightes
First impressions are that it feels well made, compact and has a lot of useful features.
This is my first time using blue Switches and I can see why everyone loves them so much! These Blues feel really soft and smooth.
The features are all I need on a keyboard as I don’t bother with Macros. I love the Media control keys which I can Pause/Play/Skip songs on a playlist on the fly without opening Spotify, Volume and Mute system sounds on the fly too and also Game Mode which helps prevent accidental Windows Key during games.
The LEDs are nice and bright. This is one of the best keyboards I have used. The sound that it makes while typing is very good. It is very comfortable to type and the response is also very quick and apt. The lights combination makes it look very attractive and works properly like a full gaming keyboard. It is very well priced as well for this product. The quality seems to be good as well. I recommend this product.
Overall I’m really happy with it and paying 21 (RRP 25) is pretty close to a bargain when it comes to peripherals these days.
This is also my first Rii product and I love it, even after just 30 minutes of usage.
This keyboard is fantastic, has a great feel, works well for what it is, responsive and easy to type! Looks very stylish and i enjoy messing with the variety of settings on the backlights, Honestly very worth the money!
Bought for my son. Arrived on time my son loves it and says ” its well good”.
Really love this keyboard so far. Genuinely mechanical rather than mechanical feel. Looks good as well as functioning well.
A nice keyboard – easy to install, suitable for daily typing work.
its a mechanical rgb keyboard. Already lost the instruction manual, can’t remember the key combination to change light settings. But it glows nicely in a dark room
Very well built keyboard for gaming heavily so don’t move an the leds r fantastic bright an can chose wot u wa
This is my first mechanical keyborad, and love it. Its a very nice built, good value good looking keyboard, and very good price. I recommend it.
This is a 5* keyboard don’t get me wrong. I just got it today and totally love it. Been a long time since I used a mechanical keyboard. This is a nice return.
Solid build quality, can use it for self defense if required 😀
However the biggest thing that costed it a star is, they are _not_ RGB LEDs… each row has a fixed colour. So you’ll never get a solid color for the entire keyboard. I would have stuck it in solid white and be done with it, but I can’t.
When they say 7 colours, they mean it. For a non gaming scenario looks a little funny. You do have loads of funky effects as other have shown in their videos.
Anyone moving from membrane keys, be aware the keys are a little high/tall compared to membrane keys, and without a wrist wrest it will take a bit of getting used to. Planning to get a separate wrist rest for myself!
Will report back if I face any issues with it.
First thing i noticed with this keyboard is the weight of it compared to my last keyboards which were all membrane. When the delivery driver handed it to me my arm almost hit the floor, it weighs more than I do which is great because it helps to stop it sliding around the desk. the size is perfect, i rarely hit the wrong keys down to the spacing and the lights are quite a nice addition even though theyre far from necessary. The key presses are nice and positive and when typing it certainly clicks and clacks like my arthritic grandmother climbing the stairs. It has a nice braided cable too. My only gripe is the USB is quite chunky and when plugged in does get in the way of the other ports next to it on my IO which is more than a little frustrating. Besides that well worth 25, will never go back to membrane keyboards.
It came earlier than expected and it’s my first clicky keyboard 11/10 would recommend
I’m very happy with my purchase, build quality is very good and blue switch’s are very tactile and clicky
Great value
10/10
I bought this to use in the office, I’m used to using a mechanical keyboard at home and I don’t find membrane keyboards very comfortable to use. This was the cheapest mechanical keyboard available on Amazon. If you take the keycaps off, the switches themselves are blue but I don’t think they are cherry mx blues, they feel very similar though! The RGB can be set to be very dim and not too flashy perfect for if you want to use in an office. It doesn’t have a number pad but I believe there is a more expensive model available that does have a number pad. Overall I think this keyboard offers a great bang for your buck. If I didn’t already have a CM Storm on my main gaming PC I’d by a second one of these in a heartbeat.
Needed a compact keyboard for my recording studio. Was amazed at the weight of this thing, its built like a tank. Very reassuring clunk to the keys. Endless options for the keyboard light display. Not used for gaming so can’t comment. Would definatley buy agai
Bought this for my son, he is delighted with it.
It is very responsive they feel like kailh blue switches but it does sound like cherry blues
Bought it for gaming if u unsure on the purchase go and buy i
i originally bought this for a temporary key board so i can save up to get a better one, oh boy was i wrong i’m using this keyboard to the end! it’s exactly what i wanted
Son loves it great delivery time came sooner than said. Really happy with purchase.
I was looking for an additional keyboard that didn’t have a number pad as I never use it, and I have to say, I am so pleased with this product, for the price this is possibly the best value mechanical keyboard on the market, the high quality metal construction and blue switches give it a premium look and feel which provides incredibly satisfying, clacky tactile feedback, accurate and very responsive key commands for typing and gaming.
comes with various lighting modes on the keyboard which can be seen in the attached video to my review, easily visible at the brightest point in the day, the only negative Is that you cannot choose specific colours but that can be lived with when it does so much so well.
This is a great value for money purchase, at this price would highly recommend it, the quality you receive from this product is something you would expect to get from much more ‘premium’ brands, whether you are buying it as a gift or to add to your own setup even if you do not intend to use it for gaming specifically it is a magnificent keyboard.
Really good blue switch keyboard and u can switch the blues to reds or browns if u wa
This keyboard is fantastic – especially given its cost. At first I tried it and was like meh – so I put it into my storage for a year. Then one day I needed a two-keyboard setup (my other keyboard is Logitech G910). So I started using the Rii, and the more I used it, the more it grew on me.
Key presses are noisy, but in a very, very satisfactory way. Tactility is excellent, spacing between the keys feels at home. The keyboard is compact, which means it will fit anywhere. It’s sturdy as hell and easy to clean up due to its open construction. The only drawback (for me personally) is the colouring on the backlight – it looks like somebody just picked a bunch of random LED strips and slapped them on the board. Which is not a problem by any means – it’s just that the keyboard doesn’t allow custom colour setup (in other words: you’re stuck with the colours that the designer thought up), and I would prefer a monochromatic backlight. Still, this is not a problem by any means. And especially for a keyboard that costs less than 25 quid while offering the tactility and durability of brands like Logitech or Corsair.
This keyboard is now my number one kfor writing. And prolly gaming too. The Logitech keyboard got relegated to work activities.
The many (many, maaaaany) lighting modes on this keyboard are neither here nor there, as chances are that you’ll either turn them fully on (FN + INS) or fully off after the novelty wears off. I guess the WASD is useful enough to justify the description as a gaming keyboard.
What’s important though is that it’s a decent mechanical keyboard with positive, well sprung key actions and a distinct but not overly intrusive clatter.
The body is sound too, being absolutely solid, and even the cable has a nice braided cover.
The only things I’d give it a slight ding on are personal preference: it’s just very marginally smaller than I’d like, but easy enough to get used to. The Enter key is double-width, single height, with the # above it rather than to its left, common enough layout variant. It’s otherwise a proper UK keyboard layout, nothing is radically different than what I’d expect, and it’s fine for programming while entering a lot of symbols.
I’ve used keyboards that cost two or three times as much that don’t offer any extra features or functionality.
I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop on reliability, but after a month’s use, I’m very happy with this for the price.
I bought this keyboard a year ago, and it is still going strong. Simply I really like it, a few people have commented on the RGB type lights affect of the keyboard and said it looks really good. Also it really does feel like a mechanical keyboard. Haven’t use it for gaming, so can’t comment there. A really good buy for the money.
I bought it to use on my desktop computer… It is very good but when you are typing it is rather noisy.. Buttons are noisy, other wise rather nice..
Brilliant keyboard, very loud but if u get blue cherry what do you expect… It is worth the money, keys do come off very easy tho
Solid mechanical keyboard. Very good for the price unfortunately individual key caps do not get RGB and the feel for the keys is controversial but I can definitely recommend this for a budget gamer.
Keyboard is great, colourful, bright, flashy and a lot more keys are nice and loud and feel genuine to Mx blues
Cheap and surprisingly good. It’s compact and fits perfectly on my tiny desk!!
Very solid, good lighting, quality braided cable and satisfying click to key presses. Very annoyed that the UK layout doesn’t have a symbol. Hoping I can find a software solution for this.
Sturdy (metal backplate) and compact keyboard. Looks really nice especially with the backlighting, perfect for dark desk areas. Easy to take off and put back on key caps (don’t need a keycap puller). Really comfortable to type on, can type really fast on this. For the price and Vs other keyboards, well worth it.
Great value key board with an old school feel. Great RGB options also
Remarkable keyboard for the money. Won’t find a better keyboard at this price point. Have more expensive keyboards and there’s not a huge difference.
Amazing keyboard for the price .
Very fast delivery , ordered one with the blue switches and it’s great.
Works perfectly the lights are very bright and the keyboard is very sturdy and great quality.
Couldn’t be happie
Second day using this keyboard and the difference is massive. It’s super responsive, looks good and is of good quality materials. I’d happily pay 40 for this keyboard so it’s a steal at only 20! It also works perfectly with consoles so if you’re concerned about that then fear no more!
Best gaming keyboard you can get for this price. very satisfying to use and decent asthetics
Love it all I can say for the price you can’t moa
Very nice keyboard for the price, I like the mechanical keys, but the ‘clicking’ may not be to everyone taste
I wanted a smaller sized keyboard, something a bit unusual and some bright lights and this keyboard fulfilled those specs. haven’t worked out yet how to change light sequence, but I’m sure I will eventually.
On the search for a budget mechanical keyboard I came across the Rii
Had I heard of this brand? No
Was I expecting this to be garbage? Yes
To my surprise this is actually quite a good little keyboard, especially for the price.
As others have mentioned there is a little wobble in the keys, this seemed worse when I first opened it, but it doesn’t seem to impact typing at all. The keys have a very satisfying click and travel.
I would have preferred the tacky multicoloured lighting to allow you to set all keys the same colour, but this is somewhat redeemed by the fact that you can record your own custom lighting patterns.
I have setup a custom lighting pattern to just light up wasd and spacebar, which will be great for late night gaming sessions.
Is it as good as a premium mechanical keyboard? I have no idea, this being the first one I’ve actually used, however it definitely has a much nicer feel to it than the “gaming” membrane keyboard I was using before it.
For the price, this is really good.
I upgraded from a normal keyboard to this mechanical one and now i seem to be alot better at timing games such as Geometry Dash, and shooters like fortnite.
Also i love the RGB options, would recommend.
Beyond average quality, acceptable value for money, nothing great or amazing, could be a bit cheaper for what they offer.
Like most boys my son is Fortnite mad !!! He’s been bugging me to get a keyboard for his PS4 for ages . I wasn’t even sure if it would work with Fortnite but lucky for him and me it does . Great looking keyboard, came well boxed . Great price would highly recommended to all those Fortnite players out there
Replacing my old madcatz keyboard this seemed a decent option.
It’s well built and has a metal plate on top to support the keys so it’s nice and solid when typing.
The keys have a whole plethora of lighting modes from waterfalls to pulsing and so on.
The keys have a very click tactile feel, they’re quite loud but I always use headphones so I don’t mind too much.
The cable is braided which is a nice touch.
The product is good but of you are getting it i do highly suggested that you buy rubber key caps as these ones get slippy and tough to handle. But other than than great makes a nice sound kindda old school sound brilliant.
Excellent for the price, well built, keys feel great, highly recommended for gamers on a budget or want a cheap upgrade from.a standard keyboard
This keyboard is at a great price and the quality was impressive for this price point. The keyboard features mechanical key switches and RGB lighting which doesn’t require any software to be installed and therefore is plug and play. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a good entry level mechanical keyboard.
If you want a more detailed review on this product check out my Youtube channel the url is in my bio.
This is one of the two Mechanical keyboards I recently purchased as I’m changing up my workstations once again. I’ve been using Red switches for a few months now and although they’re nice and quiet, I’m not finding them most pleasant to use right now – they feel more clucnky to use and resemble a membrane keyboard.
This blue switch replacement is good – it gives you the typist feel with complimenting clicky noises, and although blue switches (by cherry) don’t necessarily have one of the lightest actuation forces, these feel slightly lighter than my red key set. All in all, it’s a great typing experience.
The lights are nice and bright, enhanced by the reflective aluminium bodied keyboard – cycling through the modes, adjusting brightness and the speed of the animation is made clear on the keyboard + the little instructions included.
The only reason for a drop in a star is because there are no spare Switches included, nor a key removal/switch removal tool, so bear this in mind when purchasing.
I’ve been thinking about getting a new keyboard for a while, but never got around to looking. So when I saw this a number of keyboards with coloured LEDs lighting up the keyboard, well I had to buy one!!
Now this keyboard’s design will probably divide a lot of people. It’s like some of those car designs that loads love and loads hate. The keyboard is sent from Amazon in the actual box and no external Amazon box. So when you open the outer box, you get immediately to the keyboard. It is suspended in the box with bumpers so it’s still well protected. All that’s in the box is the keyboard and a set of instructions. As this is marketed as a gaming keyboard there are many added functions that come with the keyboard, including one that will only illuminate the usual keys you use for first person shooter games.
The keyboard cable is nylon braided so it looks like it will take a lot of wear and tear. The cable is also of a decent length so I had no issues routing it down the back of my computer desk and into the tower on the floor. Once you connect it and turn your computer on, the keyboard lights up. Each row of keys has a different colour, but if you don’t like the lights, you can always turn them all off. This then leaves the keyboard with the clear plastic to show the key – as can be seen in one of my photos.
When you look at the keyboard, it looks like a keyboard where the cover has been removed. The keys stick out from a metal base. Typing on it feels really easy, but it is a bit noisy as the keys click a lot. Now I love the clicking sound, but I could see why some wouldn’t.
The keyboard is quite compact as it doesn’t include a number pad, which is my only dislike of the keyboard. Overall, it feels well made and it doesn’t look like they have skimped on the materials used.
I’m very impressed with this keyboard and will now put my old keyboard into storage as I can’t imagine me going back from this keyboard. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for either a general or gaming keyboard.
I’ve always preference mechanical keyboards over chicklet keys but they have been very expensive or low quality. This keyboard is the perfect balance between performance and price. It’s full size as opposed to another one I had earlier which helps while playing frantic games because I often press the wrong key in a mini board. The backlight is really cool as well. There is no ghosting and the keys are just clicky enough without getting annoying after a while. The board comes in a neutral packaging so can be ordered for the office too. In par with the expensive brands.
Bought for a relative to upgrade a PC on a budget.
Really impressive build quality for the price and with an array of glowing LEDs, this is a great hardwearing backlit keyboard.
They are not massively into games at the moment and just needed something more substantial than the stock plastic board that came with the PC.
While they are not concerned about the click lifespan, the stated lifespan is more than enough to last for quite some time and the hardwearing keys should resist fade.
Its also nice and compact for the smaller desk space they have and the shortcut keys are comprehensive.
Excellent value for money for those wishing to upgrade .
