My husband picked this shower for its design not me. I like the main shower head but the smaller detachable shower head I feel is too large and the flexi pipe is not that flexible, I prefer the ribbed, slacker type hose, this is straight and smooth (and stiffer). Other than that it does the trick. You get in, clean yourself and get out again.
Easy to fit. Good controls. Temp doesnt fluctuate. Rain head is brilliant. Missus is happy. Mira high quality.

I fitted this in the family bathroom and it has proved to be very popular. Very good temperature regulation and a lovely flow of hot water – it’s a bit like standing in the rain. Expensive, but well worth the money.

My initial impressions are excellent for this shower. I replaced a less well known brand where the thermostat valve failed and I couldn’t find a replacement valve so the whole shower had to go, hence going for a good brand this time where I can easily get spares if needed (hopefully not for a long time!). It mentions that it’s more powerful than other brands, which I didn’t really believe, but when I tried it, I was really impressed with the power! Especially considering it’s up in our loft bathroom, which is obviously lower pressure than the main bathroom. Fingers crossed it will last for many years!

Nice shower, works well with my low pressure system, which is the reason I chose Mira. Only fault is the hose is very stiff, and doesn’t hang in a natural position, could do with being manufactured from a more plyable material.

Simple mechanism, turn knob one way for the overhead shower or the other way for the smaller head, retuning to centre turns water flow off. By the way, both heads cannot be used at the same time.
