Lightweight little Hoover not as good as I expected as you really have to keep going over same bit of carpet for small bits of fluff but easy to use nice to be able to clean out filter and dust compartments and generally quite good Hoover also handy for cleaning out the ca

I have found this 2-in-one Supervac product really effective, light weight & easy to use .. though it has one annoying drawback .. the necessity to keep the ‘brush’ clean & clear of hair-wrap-around-blockage SO OFTEN that it can even be needed ‘doing’ during use, as well as at the end .. if it is to keep picking-up effectively .. or even at all.

The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because it fill up fast and needs emptying a lot. But in saying y6hat, I guess that’s what to be expected in a “hand held” vacuum. I love the light weightness of it and the manoeuvres very easily. It is great for stairs and it is powerful enough to pick up the cat and dog hair left all over my house. My living room had solid red carpet, which is a nightmare to keep clean. Since I received my Supervac Cordless Vacuum Cleaner I rarely get out my old heavy vacuum out of the closet. I recommend it highly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a two bedroom house and find a full charge is totally adequate. If using it more intensely ie a spring clean, probably need an extra charge but this is no issue. Lightweight is another great asset – easy to lift with one hand. Saves on lifting a heavy hoover! I have two cats, so it is great in collecting ALL animal fur etc. Slimline and easy to store on the charge cradle. Looks attractive. Easy to empty and clean. Would recommend you purchase extra HEPA filter so you got one spare whilst the other one is drying. Makes life easier as it is very light and flexible. Highly recommend.

This is a great little cleaner. Lightweight and flexible. Needs fairly regular clearing out inside, through interior hose, but it’s good points far outweigh this slight problem. It picks up dirt efficiently on carpet, and is great on laminate flooring.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for my mother as a Christmas present as she was always praising the weight and versatility of the slightly different model I have. This is a newer version and was available at a reasonable price, plus the handheld feature seemed like a good fit for use on her stairs. Last week she came around to visit and proclaimed it as the best present she has ever received and that it has completely usurped the role of her old cleaner. She loves how light it is and how easy it is to manoeuvre, but she especially loves the ease and practicality of being able to switch out for the handheld part to get up and down the stairs and other difficult to reach areas. She says the charge isn’t an issue as she’ll putt it on for a short while before using, and a quick blast over the ground floor – wood, tiles, and carpet in different rooms, only takes a few minutes. Its very easy to get started and it takes up hardly any storage space. She says it is better than my one and would never go back to a bulky, cord powered hoover.

Nice vacuum cleaner. Great for grabbing quickly, without the hassle of dragging a cord around the house. The detachable mini vac is a brilliant idea. We went for the mid-powered one, but to be honest the suction isn’t great and we’re considering getting a corded vac for the weekly cleans.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this as fed up with lugging a Dyson around, having 3 sets of stairs. It’s light, fast and very easy to empty. I’ve tried it on the living room carpet which gets the most wear. I have 4 dogs, a cat and 3 girls with long hair. I was surprised that it managed to clean up everything and was so easy to empty, with the hair being compacted. The dirt container is quite small, but if you get used to emptying it after each use, its not a bad little machine. I reckon about once a month, you’d need to use a bigger vacuum to get deeper into the carpet but i love mine and the ease of use. I did try the detachable part in the car. Not so good as in house but handy when the grandchildren have been over and there’s crisps or biscuit crumbs to hoover up. The hoover head itself comes apart to clean out those pesky long hairs that get wound around the brush. As per usual, you’ll probably need scissors to cut and remove them but as the machine is so light and moveable, the process took hardly any time at all.

I’ve never written a review before, but this is a superb vacuum cleaner. I’ve only had it a few days but it makes cleaning so much easier, stores very compactly and picks up dirt better than our previous corded (and more powerful) vacuum. It’s amazing how much less of a chore it seems not having to constantly unplug and plug in the hoover whilst lugging around the place, and when you get to a tight spot just pop out the handheld section, saves so much time. Providing it keeps working like this, it will be one of the best purchases I’ve made. Seems perfect for small flats. Didn’t notice any performance drop off at all in 15 mins of use straight out of the box, despite not charging it myself.

The first thing to strike me about this was the really nice build quality, the plastics are heavyweight, beautifully finished and just say “quality”. In use the cleaner did not disappoint. Sufficiently powerful for all everyday uses, lightweight for getting around with, up and down stairs. The handheld section works great around chairs on stairs and on the car seats. Yes the collector is small but as long as you tip it out when you’ve finished with the cleaner each time, it is just fine and only takes seconds when you have the knack. All in all this takes the day to day work and makes it easy, and every so often the big vacuum can come out and do a slightly deeper clean of the carpets with the extra suction.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy partner and I bought this vacuum cleaner in order for me to be able to clean. I have a seizure condition and autism, and so often I’m absolutely wiped out and unable to clean. I also used to find our other ones too heavy and I was forever falling over the cables.

This little devil charges up super quick and is a very effective vacuum cleaner. It does need emptying after each go around your house, but it is very easy to remove the dirt and tip it into a bin, not too fiddly at all. The smaller hand held portion is great for skirting boards and edges, and the swivel mechanism on the main body makes it very easy to move without causing too much strain on sore wrists and arms.

    I strongly recommend it!

Very portable, easy to manoeuvre with good suction for a cordless hoover. Excellent build quality, feels very solid. Easy to separate and re-attach hand held unit (which is the power unit for the hoover) The hoover also is very simple to connect to the charger unit and it is recommended to keep the unit plugged in for trickle charging. It works well on carpet, lino and hardwood floors. It states a 20 min running time on a charge. If you can’t do the whole house in that time I would suggest a larger hoover as the head is about 1/3rd smaller than a stand up Dyson.

Bought this as replacement for similar (different manufacturer) stick vacuum, rechargeable being particularly important. Must thank the Amazon
cust services as they were able to organise & suggest possible replacement. Took delivery in a very timely manner. Vacuum easy to set up and with the folding handle can be tucked out of the way. Slightly less suction power than some others on the market, but I have overcome that by rolling it around marginally slower, slightly less power means longer battery time, important for my needs. I would also recommend frequent emptying of dust capsule i.e. before it is full, particularly if you have a hairy pet! Less noisy than my last, though pooch still doesn’t like it! One caveat, the connecting pipe from brush head to filter/dust capsule does get clogged relatively easily, best check it each time you empty.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this hover because I didn’t have anywhere to store Henry. I was a bit concerned about the power of it before buying but it turns out to be more powerful than I thought it would be.

    The product:

The vacuum comes with a charging station and two attachments. The floor bristles spin for maximum cleaning power and has two power settings. You can also detach the vacuum from the base and use it as a hand held vacuum. The dust collects in a small chamber which is easy to empty. The vacuum lives on the charging station so remains charged all the time. The handle also folds down for easy storage.

    Pros:

    – easy storage – light compact design
    – powerful – powerful enough to pick up everyday dirt. I keep the Henry upstairs in case I need to deal with some heavier soiled areas.
    – long battery life – easily clean the whole house on a single charge
    – not too noisy
    – good design

    Cons:

    – The small dirt tray requires emptying after every use but you soon get used to it
    – can’t deal with heavier soiled areas

Overall I am very please with the product and I would by again.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCharges quickly, and picks up fine on both hard floors and carpet, not as much suction as a mains vacuum but then I didn’t expect it to. If it can cope with my 2 kids and 3 cats I think that’s praise enough. Also very compact and the folding handle is a good idea.
Edit after 12 months-alls well, and couldn’t think of going back to a corded vacuum

Really pleased with this item which I’ve bought for our small holiday home which is mostly tiled floors, with some wool rugs. We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats so it has to tackle pet hairs and does it very well (handy that the 2 in 1 design means I’ve got the small vac to go over furniture). So far the only slight inconvenience is the small dust container but obviously you expect that, so I empty if every time I use it and brush out the dust from the filter with an old paintbrush. I haven’t been able to find replacements for the sponge filter either but it seems to clean up easily though I’d imagine it will need replacing at some point.

I am happy with this product. It is lightweight and very easy to use. I have a flat which is mostly laminate flooring and no pets or kids so this type of hoover is ideal as there is not any heavy-duty hoovering to be done.

Although overall I do like this product, you do need to empty it after a short period of hoovering (although this may be a reflection of the good suction). Further, hair does get caught around the brushes which can be annoying to remove.

I would recommend this product to people who have similar hoovering requirements as me but perhaps not to those that have a carpeted house with pets. You only have 20 mins before it needs charging for a few hours and you would need to empty it every 5 minutes.

I love this. I always wanted a cordless but have been put off buying in the past by my husband who kept reminding me we have a perfectly good hover at home. But having seen the reviews for this I was really tempted and went ahead and got myself one and my expectations have been surpassed. Its light, easy to use quickly around the house, picks up all the dust and can be used on both floorboards and carpets without having to change settings. Even my sceptical husband loves it too. Highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI just wanted something which would pick up the bits here and there in between getting the big vac out. Well this does all that and more. I have not had to get the big one out at all since buying this. Ok you do have to empty it more often but even that is cleaner and easier and the battery lasts ages and if you charge it up overnight it’s ready and waiting at your command.Bet you guessed I love it. xxx

Very pleased with this, the first time i have tried a cordless vac. Got it up and running and swept my home (2 floors/3beds) all in well under 30 mins. very easy to use, although needed to be emptied after around 10 mins, this was very quick and easy to do, so not a major issue. The fact it is a 2-in-1 is why i chose this over the air ram, that and the fact, if you bought the air ram, you have to pay extra for the handheld unit with the tools, all of of which come in this one package, making a total saving of nearly 2/3’s (!), there simply is no justification for that extra cost, the only benefit you’d get would be a small increase in waste capacity, but nowhere near enough to justify the huge extra cost. I have no issues with the suction power, compared to the cyclinder vac I used before. The combo of an upright and a handheld in a single unit, is very convenient and means you can tackle anything and everything – yes including the stairs! It comes fully charged too which is handy. I have used it for 20 odd mins, so far, more than enough for my needs, so the claimed 40 mins run time is more than enough for any 3 bed semi, though i have plugged it in to the charger to keep it topped up to avoid running out mid hoovering! Its very compact to store, the handle folds down and the tools all store alongside the main unit on the cradle. So all in all, its an excellent purchase and for the price it is an absolute steal!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is an excellent cordless Hoover, yes it does need to be emptied frequently but its a small Hoover so that’s to be expected in my opinion and it only takes two minutes. I read other reviews that said it wasn’t very good at picking up but I have not had this problem, however I am someone who hoovers everyday rather thanonce a week or so. It’s the best hoover I’ve ever owned, no cord, its lightweight, extremely easy to manoeuvre, charges fast, comes with attachments and is very quiet for a hoover, doesn’t bother my toddler or our cats! I kinda want to buy another so I have a spare! Cordless hoovers are expensive and this is cheap for what it is really, you could pay a lot more for the same thing.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLooks great plus great functionality. In this category battery / charging life is good. Handy that it is 2 in 1 and everything is simple to use and empty. The lightweight nature means it’s good to use up and down stairs, regular use or if you’re able to get the kids to help, the downside is less “industrial” user times than a stand up such as a Dyson, however pick up is just as good providing your emptying after use, which is dead easy.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI’ve had Dysons over the last 17 or so years. My old one was on the way out and I really wanted to try a cordless one. I looked at the Dyson and the GTech Air Ram. But I couldn’t afford either particularly as a first time user of a cordless. So the price as well as the positive reviews absolutely attracted me to this vacuum. I’ve had cordless hand held vacuums before for quick clean up of dry spillages or for the car but I ended up rarely using them as they were quite heavy, no where really to keep them on charge and they would run out of charge before I’d so much as got the back seat of the car vacuumed.

This vacuum cleaner has just ticked everything for me and is definitely value for money!

Small, compact and light versus my old bulky, intrusive and very heavy Dyson

The charge time on it is plenty for my 3 bedroom house and to completely do out my car (one or the other!) because of it being lightweight and so easy to maneuver it just is so much quicker to get round where you need to.

So easy to detach and reattach the vacuum to the wand you can do all the vacuuming jobs as you go along each room.

I can keep it on the charging station, easily tucked away in my kitchen and it barely takes up any space.

It is so easy to remove the bin and filter and wash everything out thoroughly. The bin is small but I’m surprised how much it can hold, and emptying it more often is no hardship as its so easy to do. Besides, if you’ve vacuumed up food, you don’t really want it sitting in the vacuum cleaner!

Vacuuming definitely feels far less of a chore when you don’t have a heavy machine to lug around and endless cord to constantly detangle.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersIs it possible to fall in love with a vacuum? Yes,I think it is. I’ve had this a few days now and am absolutely loving it. It worked straight out of the box, easy peasy, lightweight, effective. Not as powerful as my old upright Hoover, but it doesn’t yank my shoulders out of their sockets when I use it and in my little bungalow which has both carpet and hard floors, it does a really good job. Also, the fact that it’s so light and easy to use means that I’ve been using it almost every day which I NEVER did with my old one, therefore my carpets are cleaner than ever before. Folds in half for easy storage and handy dandy charging station is great.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have been struggling with heavy cleaners for years, even although we live in an average size flat . My present ‘tool of torture’, although in working order, but now redundant, is an all singing, dancing Dyson ! This lightweight piece of kit, which now has replaced it, is a pleasure to use. It can go anywhere, cleans efficiently, and is more than easy to empty. No longer do I dread having to haul out , plug in, and struggle with a monstrosity !
Instead, it’s now a one-hand job, and takes all of 5 minutes to do the whole flat. Sits in a corner , and I charge it around twice per week ! Sorted !

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen you detach the main unit, it sort of looks like a handheld dustbuster thing. And when you connect it to the full frame, it is like a light-weight small vacuum cleaner, sans the chord.

I found the charge to be really good. The suction is decent enough. It isn’t going to hold up any bowling balls, but it is powerful enough to get the job done.

If you don’t need a super heavy duty vacuum (i reckon you won’t be able to get a cordless one), and are happy for standard around the house cleaning, with the lovely benefit of being cordless and light, I would definitely suggest this.

We have a very good “expensive” vacuum that my wife bought in a moment of weakness a number of years ago but it is heavy and cumbersome. We wanted something that was light and easy to use for spills and a quick whip round when visitors are coming so we purchased this yoke.
It is absolutely brilliant. It’s light and easy to use, it has good suction, you can use it as a hand unit for cars etc, I’m not sure how long the battery lasts because it hasn’t run out when I’ve used it and I’ve done the whole house and the charger stand is neat, tidy and practical. You need to make sure you empty it after every use, it’s not hard and you’ll be amazed at how much it picks up.
If you want a proper vacuum don’t buy this and moan, but if you want something light and handy for day to day use it’s ideal.

When you open the box the first thing you notice is the great colour and quality of the machine. It’s very well made.
Very light and well balanced. I had back surgery 5 weeks ago and was able to lift it. It’s great and easy to open to empty out and the best of both worlds with the handheld in the middle section too. All in all fab machine.
Performance picks up light bits and pieces but not powerful enough for grit. 2 speeds.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have been using this vacuum cleaner for 6 weeks now. I was aprehensive as it is much cheaper than the dyson. But to be honest it is excellent. It won’t ever replace the main vacuum cleaner for power but it’s great for cleaning the bits and light cleaning and it’s light and easy to use. I wasn’t sure as I thought they had just strapped a hand vacuum cleaner to a longer body but in fact it’s cleverly designed and engineered and is a useful addition to the house cleaning armoury.

This is one of those things you didn’t know you really needed until you have one!

When you first turn it on, it makes you question how powerful it actually is, as it doesn’t sound it. however, I emptied it after a quick whip round, I almost thought the dust it collected must have been there already, as it didn’t seem right, but my gosh, this is great. It is so light and easy to use, and takes second to whip over after the 2.5yr old has rice crispies for breakfast. We have very deep carpets and this doesn’t struggle at all. This is on my Must-Have list and don’t know how I coped without it. I can now vacuum 3-4 times a day (I have a 10 month old crawler) and I look forward to it, i really do.

The detachable handheld is very quick release and re-mount, using one hand only. The charging base is also a must have for me (so you don’t have to remember to charge it, nor worry it could be flat) it has a home of its own, and you know it will always be charged and ready to use. All in all I am one happy customer.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was a bit wary of buying a cordless vacuum. Didn’t want to spend a fortune but wanted something that would be decent at least. Definitely think I found that with this morphy Richards. I have a mix of hard floors and carpets throughout the house. It cleans both surfaces really well. I rarely have to go over the same area twice for it to lift something on the carpets. The unit itself looks good, it’s easy to work and is light to move about. I empty mine after every use and give the filter a quick clean, it takes minutes to do and is worth the effort to keep the suction at maximum. The hand held unit is handy, you can detach it while the main hoover is on and it remains switched on, so moving between the 2 as you go round is easy. I can do my whole house (6 rooms downstairs, hall and stairs, and 4 rooms upstairs) without it running out of power. Would definitely recommend and would buy it again. Cheaper than the Dyson equivalent and does the job just fine!

Very pleased with this purchase. Light and easy to use and charge lasts well. I find I just need to use my main vacuum cleaner once a week and can quickly use the Supervac in between. Only down side is that it needs to be emptied frequently in order to maintain suction power but this is not difficult.

I was dubious that it would not be strong enough, how wrong could I be. It is wonderful! Easy, light, very manageable. I have a Cavalier K C Spaniel that drops silky hair continually. This little beauty Supervac picks it up every morning,no problem. I look forward to vacuuming now. It sits with its arm folded down ,like an ornament in the corner whilst the battery charges.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersLove this! I have been using it everyday since I got it as it’s so easy to use! Runs for about 25-30 minutes which is enough for an average size flat. As others suggest I’d recommend to leave it in charge when not using. The flaming red colour also makes it look quite stylish so I don’t mind having it out in my living room. It stays on its stand nicely.

It requires about 2-3 hours to fully charge. It’s very easy to empty and I’d recommend to do it after every use.

I have a cat and this vacuum is very effective to remove its hair from the floor and sofas!

If the battery lasted a bit longer I would have given 5 stars but it hasn’t been an issue for me!

The best vacuum (we’ve been through a few in the last several years)! Easy to tuck away in a corner for easy access. Great power, love the ability to use the large one or the small one depending on what’s needed. It does a good job of vacuuming all the cat fur that gets all over our house.

After 8 months, it stopped charging. After a couple of phone calls, Amazon agreed to send out a new one.

When my supervac arrived I thought how could such a small and good looking vac be any good. It just picks up everything, my carpets looked new again. I had a decent cleaner for 5 years and only changed it because the handle broke and glad it did as this supervac is absolutely superb. The charge time is more than enough for my two bedroom apartment, it’s lightness and flexibility is really terrific. I clean and empty it after each main use and I am so proud of this purchase I even polish it before I put it back onto the charging cradle.

Great item! Light, easy to use, allows me to clean better than ever before and now I don’t dread the exercise. Only issue is that it is a bit fragile – I dropped the handheld part when putting back into the unit to charge, and it cracked at the point of latching the dirt canister. Maybe it was my fault – I dropped it – but the height was only from where it fits the big vacuum to charge so it should have been able to take that kind of an expected drop. I fixed the broken latching part with some Velcro so still using it as before. But now my beautiful elegant Supervac is not longer looking new, which is my regret.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersjust got this Supervac. The first nice surprise was that I ordered it on Wednesday morning, chose the free standard delivery, which should have taken between 3 and 5 working days, and received it the next day! very impressive. The second nice thing is how easy it is to assemble, was done in 5 minutes. i left it in the charging cradle since thursday and I’ve just used it for the first time today. The first thing I noticed was how non-loud it is, which makes a nice change from the other vacuum cleaners i have. Second thing was the weight, which is very important to me: it is extremely light weight and easy to manoeuvre around the house. Now the only negative: it is less powerful that I thought it would be, ie I bought it mainly to do the carpeted stairs, and I have to be honest, it’s doing a good job, but not the best. Having said that, it’s really good for everything else and I am happy I bought it. Definitely would recomment it.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is a lovely nippy light vacuum cleaner. It is very manoeverable and can go underneath most furniture. It has good suction, as long as the bag is emptied often and the filter rinsed out. This isn’t a major chore at all. The charge lasts well; I can do the entire house, upstairs and down, in one go. The hand held central apparatus slips out easily and is great for stairs, cars etc. Only time will tell how long it will last, but so far it is excellent value for money.

6 months on and I am still happy with this cleaner. Emptying the the bag and cleaning out the filter after every use has become second nature although I must admit it would be nice not to have to do it QUITE so often, but then I would probably have had to pay more for that, and I had a low budget at the time and so I can’t complain. Only once has it run out of battery and that was because I left it standing whilst I did something else and then continued cleaning later. I would still recommend this.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI purchased this because I find my big heavy Morphy Richards vacuum more difficult to cope with in my advancing years and I usually manage to trip over the cord, but after being very pleased with the old one which is 9 years old, I decided the cordless one was worth a try. I am DELIGHTED that I did. It is light, easy to manipulate and VERY efficient. Yes, you have to empty the filter after each use, but that is because it is so efficient at picking everything up, and dealing with the filter is so easy.I am now kicking myself that I didn’t make the decision to purchase this months ago as it has changed vacuuming from a chore to a pleasure, and as i am in my 70’s anything that makes life easier is to be encouraged!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really like it! It’s unbelivable how light it is! Easy to use, it reaches everywhere, and being cordless is an added bonus. It charges quite fast, and it lasts for way more than enough to completely clean a flat. It is not as powerful as other models, but it works perfectly fine on carpet and other floors. It is also a lot less noisy. The fact that it works also as hand-held is really great! Easy to detach, light, and working great in this mode too. Obviously, you need to empty it basically at every use – the process is really easy and fast, but it can get a bit messy, since the opening system is not as smart as everything else.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIn a household with 4 children, a dog and a cat, the vacuum seems as an extension of your arm most days.
I would not use as my only vacuum but as a handy one to keep close by.

So in the morning you vacuum your whole house with the big, bulky, corded vacuum. (I have a Henry)
    But what about after meals?
Or after you have been cooking?

I look at my under-stairs cupboard and think “Oh no!” Just with the thought of having to bring out my big Henry, plug it in etc.
So now I have my Cordless Supervac in my living room on charge all day.

    Ideal for:
    Stairs
    Inside my puppies crate
Around cats scratching posts (I have a 3 floors one)
    Cats basket
Quick clean around table after meals (4 little ones at home)
After cooking when you have drooped a bit of onion peel, etc…
To keep my back doors entrance clean regularly (we take dog to the wc through that door)
Hubby even uses it to vacuum the car

This is a great buy at a fantastic reduced price.
I do not know how we have managed without it until now.

Instead of having the little dust pan and brush and having to go on my knees to pick up bits and pieces, this is the quick and easy way to do it.

Advice- Add a vacuum air freshener pad to the filter area and give your house a bust of freshness every time you pick up little bits.

Now you will not feel like OMG every time your kids sharpen a pencil and start doing it from the table all the way to the bin… 😉

Bought as a back up to my main cleaner and ideal for small spillages around the house.

Although it is suggested it could be good for daily cleaning, I think a “proper” cleaner would be better as there is less messing about when the small waste chamber needs emptying, and filters cleaned after every time which I find is the only downside.

Cleaner itself is lighter than a normal cleaner obviously, but suction is good and easy to use in either its normal floor mode, or in handheld mode which is where it excels, especially with the ability to use the included small crevice tools for those tricky bits of dirt that are trying to hide

Cleaner is replaced onto its cradle at the end of use and will automatically start recharging if you have it plugged in – since mine is not used daily, I find its 35 minute or so run time is more than adequate for my needs and can then just recharge every week or so as needed

This cleaner is very good. It charges up quickly and is very powerful for a cordless cleaner. The hand held vacuum clicks easily into the main body of the cleaner. It comes apart very easily and quickly for emptying and cleaning. The attachments that come with it are very handy and clip on and off with ease. The cleaner its self is well made, sturdy and looks very stylish in the beautiful red colour.
I have tried a friends GTEC and I would say the power is not far off suction wise. I can do my whole house on one charge.

I am really please with this purchase and I would highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersA good looking cleaner that looks fine standing in the kitchen or hallway.Picks up well including hair. However there is a design fault with the dust collecting unit. The dust is supposed to go from a small first chamber to a larger storage area. The gap between the two is too narrow with the result that it cloggs up in the first area, blocking the enterance to the larger. This means that the dust has to be emptied after every short use.
The hand held unit must be detached from the upright before the dust collection unit can be accessed making emptying fiddly and time comsuming.

This vacuum cleaner is an absolute dream to use (it also looks very smart and streamlined, and although this doesn’t really matter, it pleased me!). Very light, easy to use (you could easily use it with no instructions; unusual for me), and cordless, it is perfect for our house (which has four storeys, and therfore a lot of stairs). Of course, it isn’t as powerful as a larger model, but I find it perfectly adeequte for most of our needs, and the detachable hand-held part is especially useful for odd spills. Very easy to empty and keep clean, its only drawback is that it only holds its charge for about thirty minutes. But if you know that in advance, it’s not too inconvenient. I have had a similar vacuum cleaner, and this one is far superior. Highly recommended.

I bought this vacuum cleaner when i moved into a flat in a city centre as I didn’t want a noisy hoover waking everyone in the area up. This is certainly a quite vacuum and even better than what i expected for the price. Although, you do have to clean it often and empty it every so often it’s definitly built to last and lasts a long time before it needs recharging. I also like how it folds to fit in small places and for me it’s under my stair and takes up less then hal the room of a normal Dyson or Hoover. The red is also very classy and elegant, very expensive looking! It picks up on both hard floors and carpets very well and even picks up animal hair quickly and easily. It has two functions when using it upright, one slightly lower function which is good if you’re in a flat as it’s quieter. I would definitely recommend this to anyone moving to a block of flats or someone who needs a small, foldable vacuum. Overall, extremely pleased with my purchase. Thank you!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this hoover, it has transformed my (usually detested) housework. Yes, of course, it’s got a tiny compartment for hooverings so you have to empty it regularly, but it’s so easy to empty it doesn’t really matter. It’s light enough to do a quick dash round the whole house (with a couple of empties along the way) but with decent enough suction to actually do a good job. Battery life seems really good – I’ve had it a few weeks and it’s definitely still going strong. My 5 and 7 year olds love it too – a real bonus, as they now actually like (!!!) vacuuming their own rooms and help me out around the house too. Great value, great product, can’t recommend it highly enough. (Though we don’t have pets and I suspect that would change my verdict a little – but not a lot!)

Now I can just take this upright out every other day it’s that easy only one negative you have to empty it very regularly in say that it is so easy to do I suppose it’s not that much of a negative …

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI honestly can’t praise this item enough if there were 10 stars this would get it. Easy to use, very handy, light weight and powerful which makes very light work of what can normally be such a chore. I love that you can just take this wee cleaner of its charger and it is one switch of the button and it is ready to tackle any bits, hair, dust etc. It is great for the stairs and works on any floor surface. I can image that someone with arthritis or an older person would definitely find this cleaner a lot easier to use than a regular cleaner with cables etc.
I have had this cleaner now for a month or so as I wanted to give it a good test run before leaving a review.
    Highly recommended!

Very good piece of kit – it works a lot better than my old cylinder vacuum and is much easier to manoeuvre around, especially being cordless.

Suction wise you are basically using a handheld vacuum, so it doesn’t have as much power as other larger cleaners, but it doesn’t really seem to matter too much, certainly not for me. The only downside is that the collection bin is much smaller and therefore needs more frequent empting, but in all honesty I can get round my entire flat without having to empty it until the end which is fine. A few people have mentioned having to clean the filters each time you use it – I’ve not noticed this problem, but the handbook does suggest cleaning them once per month which is exactly the same as every other vacuum I’ve owned.

Having the handheld is also useful, as you can use it to get into smaller spaces, in the car etc – all in all, I’d recommend

This is a very neat vacuum, very light, ideal for me because I have wooden flooring and not that much carpeting downstairs, the collection box for the dust and dog hairs isn’t very big so you will have to empty this nearly every time, the filters are washable which is also a bonus, but for the price its defiantly a bargai

  67. JulianaThornton says:

Surprisingly delighted, I bought /use it for laminate flooring which seems to attract crumbs and cat litter when it finishes it’s business, and for the stairs in between using the Dyson for more thorough cleaning. Honestly, if you’re buying it to replace a full size vacuum cleaner for full time use on your carpet all over the house you’re probably looking at the wrong device but for what I’ve described it’s ideal.
Only thing I don’t know about yet is battery life, but its charger base is discreet.

  68. Anonymous says:

Not as powerfull as a regular hoover, but enough suction for the purpose I wanted it for: a quick whizz around, mainly cleaning up after the cat. Picks up hair fairly well, including my other half’s long hair and cat hair. The only downside I can think of is that there is a round filter inside, which tends to become clogged with hair, which makes you lose suction, but easy enough to clean out. Battery also lasts plenty long enough. It’s never run out before I’ve finished.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI tried lots of these ‘stic-vacs’ in store to see what they were like and decided that this one was the easiest to handle and had the things I needed.
I then ordered on-line from Amazon for two thirds of the high street price and I have not been dissapointed with my choice.
Some of them say they are light but they are quite a bit heavier and not so easy to use as this one. It is light weight, has a roller brush which picks up the bits from both carpets and hard floors, and the middle bit detaches for stairs etc. It does everything I want it to do and I would definately recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersVery happy with this Supervac, it’s perfect for people like me who aren’t really interested in vacuuming. I didn’t want a fancy but clunky machine with all sorts of tubes, cable and attachments falling off, cluttering the place up and getting lost and I certainly didn’t want to spend hundreds of pounds on a Dyson type cleaner’s wet dream. I’m just not that excited by vacuuming. I got one of these from Amazon Warehouse for the same price as the base model, brand new as far as I can tell.

With the Supervac I get a simple machine that sits easily on it’s charging dock and thanks to the folding handle can be stored under a table or in a cupboard or something. It has just the two attachments you need, which also store on the dock. I can easily grab either the full upright vac or just the lift out hand held unit for a quick clean – no faffing with cable, hoses and attachments just grab it, use it and put it back on the dock. Done.

Very impressed with how powerful yet quiet it is too, and it works well on both carpet and tiles. The hand held unit with the narrow extension and brush attachment are perfect for reaching up high or into tight corners.

I suppose if you have a big house and love cleaning all the time then having to empty the reservoir more often might annoy you but you should still consider a Supervac so you can get your cleaning fix on a daily basis. It’s always ready and just so easy to use. Then keep your shiny, expensive, uber-fancy Dyson for when you really want to get stuck in.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a fantastic gadget. I bought it with vouchers I received for Christmas as a replacement for our current Bissell Carpet Sweeper. I was keen to get a model with a turbo brush head, as with two cats in the house, I needed something that would be capable of tackling pet hair. In the week I’ve had it so far, this vacuum has handled everything I’ve thrown at it – pet hair, fluff, dust and crumbs, even broken glass! I’ve been using it every day as it’s quite addictive and it’s so easy to just have a quick go round with it when I get home in the evening. I also love the way the handheld part is so easy to grab and detach from the machine. It’s a bit heavier than I anticipated, but even allowing for that, it does definitely make doing the stairs less daunting than before. Emptying the dust canister is no real bother, but does need to be done every other time of using as it only holds a small amount before it gets full.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI don’t generally enthuse over household products. This vacuum was bought to replace my cordless Bisell sweeper. I thought it would be similar, something to whizz round between dragging the big vac out. But this little gem is brilliant! So much more efficient than my trusty ‘hodder’ ( ask Eddie Izzard!). It is solid and chunky but light and very easy to use. It’s components make a satisfying clunk as you put it together and empty the dust collector. My only, very minor, niggle is that the dust collector does not hold much but it’s really no hassle to empty so not really a problem. In short, exceeds expectations, great little vac for keeping on top of a busy household.

This is surprisingly good. The only gripe is the need to empty it every time you use it. This is because it’s basically a handheld cleaner that sits in a mainframe that turns it into a vacuum cleaner. It does the job – but overall disappointed.
Don’t buy this if you are looking for a cordless vacuum cleaner for the usual full house clean.

I was really not expecting much when I bought this Morphy Richards but boy was I in for a delightful surprise. It is an absolute dream to use. I couldn’t be more delighted. I didn’t need instructions to assemble the parts when it arrived as there were pictures on the outside of the box that made everything so easy. Within moments I had it set up and charging on its neat little base. Actually it seemed to arrive fully charged as I couldn’t resist trying it out. It cleans like a dream and the battery life is amazing. This morning I used it properly and I managed to do the hall, lounge, stairs, landings bedrooms and bathroom on one charge! I had to empty the dust collector three or four times which only proves just how effective a cleaner this machine is. After lunch I got it out again and did the rest of the bedrooms and the kitchen. Oddly now I am rather hoping that my husband comes in from his shed and leaves a mess on the carpet so I can get it out again and have another go lol. I don’t often review my purchases but I can heartily recommend this cleaner to anyone 🙂

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersI absolutely LOVE this magnificent machine. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have tried many and various cordless cleaners over the years.
I’ve had ones where I had to lie it flat on the floor to press the hand held release button, one that I couldn’t even pick up, described as lightweight,
I’ve had one that required one to push a button on the back and pull from the front, again to release the hand held part. When you’ve got poorly fingers this is impossible. I’ve sent some back.
This little wonder has changed my life, no exaggeration. A lot of these type of cleaner have a narrow “slippy” handle, this one has a rubber grip on the underside making it MUCH easier to grip. The release for the hand held unit is a wonderful little trigger hidden behind the handle. When it comes to emptying there is one button which I can use two hands to press and this “breaks” open the the two parts.
It is a god send to me, I actually quite like hoovering now. I would definitely recommend it to everyone especially people with dexterity problems.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOrdered Friday, arrived Saturday. Fabulously red and shiny, and cleans up a treat. Just the very thing for those quick whizz-round jobs without getting out the main vacuum, which always seems to get hitched up on the furniture no matter how hard I pull.
I only have stairs, landing and two bedrooms with carpet the rest of the house being hard floor. We have three cats in the house and the amount of hair and dust picked up was a revelation to say the least. Yes, you do have to empty it frequently but that is no hardship. The only drawback is it’s either upstairs or down!

After reading all the reviews, I plumped for this. Mainly to save getting out the Dyson to chase around the kitchen etc. Also the benefit of a separate hand held vac. I did not really expect it to do much on the rugs, but as we are mainly tiled, not a big deal, so… Great bit of kit, light, convenient and works on the rugs – OK not exactly a Dyson suck but plenty good enough. It is just so easy, no cables etc. Enough charge to get most things done and sits in the corner out of the way. Need to empty it regularly and tap out the filters, straightforward once you have got used to it. I would buy it again.

Bought this for my Dad who is 91 and thrilled to bits with it. He had been going to get a Bosch which sounds as though it’s more powerful but when I tried it in a shop I couldn’t get the hose attached, so I’m sure my dad wouldn’t be able to, and the hose connection was also very close to ground level. The Morphy Richards though has a detachable handheld vacuum with two attachments which sit on the charger like a car vacuum so you can suck up crumbs or lift it up for cobwebs etc. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the suction isn’t terrific but is good enough, and if you’re elderly the priority is something you can use. It is very light to lift on or off its stand which is barely wider than the vacuum head so it’s really not noticeable. The vacuum itself is so handsome in a beautiful red that it’s a work of art! Delighted.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a good piece of equipment. Well engineered, superbly designed, easy to use. I love it. But it wont replace a more powerful vacuum cleaner as it does not have the same amount of suction. I use it to do day-to-day cleaning and keeping things fresh. I use a ‘normal’ vacuum weekly to give the house a more thorough clean.
    ***Update***
18 months on the vacuum has developed a problem – it will not switch on. No one seems interested in mending it, and for the cost of the machine it probably is not cost effective to repair. Until it broke, it worked OK. Like most bagless cleaners, they are a bit of a mess to empty effectively. I used to empty it into a bin liner then wash the whole assembly including the filters. Then you have to dry it and wait for the filters to dry. I prefer bagged cleaners where you can just take the full bag out and replace it with a clean empty one. Much less hassle. However, there does not seem to be a small battery powered bagged vacuum cleaner on the market. 🙁

It’s so light, easy to use and has surprisingly strong suction. I bought it to stay upstairs and find it easy to roll under beds etc. It’s good on the bathroom floor too. Slip off the hand held and the stairs are no work at all and the car gets more vacs. You must empty the dust collector each time, but that’s easy. I used it for 20 minutes and it was still going strong before I put it back on to charge. I like it much better than my cylinder vacuum, but know I will have to lug the latter upstairs for spring cleans every now and then.

Golden Review Award: 151 From Our UsersI was so excited to receive this product today.
It took 5 minutes to assemble straight from the box and no tools required.
I couldn’t resist giving it a quick wizz around and although it wasn’t fully charged, it ran for about 20 minutes. I was amazed how much stuff it picked up and how easy it was to handle and manoeuvre around and under things.
The tools for the handheld unit are very useful to.
NOTE: If you want to run just the vacuum cleaner (without the brushes operating) whilst using the machine as an upright, you can power the unit up from the handheld power button whilst in situ.
Also the high/low power settings only operate when using the switch on the main handle of the upright unit. (The handheld unit itself cannot be switched between high/low power).
I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it. Can’t wait until it’s charged up again, to give it another go!
Thanks for reading, hope the info was useful. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the perfect vacuum. I am able to vacuum all upstairs ( 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and landing) in one go. It is also a powerful tool, whether using upright or handheld, and sooooo lovely not to have to plug it in and be tethered by the length of the cable. It is powerful enough to suck up bits of cotton or thread from the carpet, that with other vaccums I found I needed to loosen these bits from the carpet before the vacuum would pick it up. The powerful little handheld unit is superb – I can quickly and efficiently do the stairs (carpeted). In fact I bought this one to keep upstairs to avoid carrying my main vacuum up the stairs, and am so happy with it that I now want another one to keep downstairs, in place of my tethered upright! So if you are looking for a powerful cordless vacuum with an extremely useful hand held, you have found it. This Morphy Richards 732005 2in 1 is awesome! I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this item for my 2 bedroom upper floor flat. My previous hoover was corded, heavy duty and loud. It put me off hoover due to the size, weight and noise so I bough this one and I wasn’t disappointed. I love the look and feel of this hoover and I was able to get around with ease. My only criticism is that I had to empty the chamber a couple of times and I wasn’t able to hoover all the rooms as the hoover ran out of charge but apart from that, I’d say it was a good buy, the handheld is ideal for stairs and the hoover is good for quick jobs or smaller apartments/ rooms.

super light weight easy to use can actually vacum under my bed now it looks great stores neatly, just make sure you have it well charged the charge light is red when in its stand and the battery is under charged then it turns green when fully charged, however when in use the battery light stays green even when it is about to run out no warning or light change to red to indicate the vacum is about to run out of charge. so keep it charged up as per the instructions .

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis little beastie is amazing.Had it a few weeks now and would not be without. We have a lively black cocker spaniel and hairs are a nightmare until we were told about this hoover.I use it daily to whiz over my carpets and wood floors and it’s a god send for quickness.I love the hand held attachment that just lifts out for quick use.The hoover is so easy to charge and takes up no room at all charging ready for next time.Easy to clean out and if you have a dog I would empty each time as it fills up quick. It has a couple of attachments.that just stand on the charger base making it a breeze to get into little corners and spaces.Since I bought mine three of my friends have now bought one.Would not be without.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have dogs and cats in a house with both hard floors and carpets. I bought this as my old corded vac was noisy, heavy and smelly, in spite of being cleaned and having filter replaced. I decided on this one after reading reviews for all similar models for different brands. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Yes it’s cordless so it doesn’t have quite as much suction as a plug in vac. However what it lacks in a bit of power it makes up for in ease of use. Ease of cleaning and effortless storage. It works well on my carpets. Takes a couple of goes if pet hair is really prominent. But fab on my hard floors. Makes stair cleaning safer and easier. Also the handheld vac part detaches for small spills and furniture or in the car. It’s very light weight and quite an attractive appliance to have around. What it does need is emptying very often due to the small size of the dust chamber. But as it’s so easy to do its no real hardship. Even the little foam filter is easy to clean. I wash it in warm soapy water and leave it to dry on the window for an hour. The rotary brush is powered for carpets and is easy to take out to remove any stuck bits of fluff. I love this vac. I don’t know how I managed before without it. Get yourself one. You won’t regret it.

Pro’s – Easy to put together and take apart, arrived already charged, lightweight, cordless design makes hoovering quick and easy, good suction and a good size for getting hard to reach places.
Con’s – Very small bin – I live in a one bedroom flat with two fluffy rabbits and need to empty the bin every time (although I do not really mind given that it is doing its job and being cordless I am usually done in 5-10 minutes from start to finish).
The hand held vacuum that is attached to the front, in my personal opinion, is rubbish!! Hardly any suction whatsoever – Thankfully I do not really need it that much and happy with just using the main Hoover however if I had just ordered the hand held I would have returned it immediately.

Overall I am happy that I made this purchase and switched to cordless!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
My plug in vac now put away in garage!
Amazing vac , I can’t get over how good this is, ive 4 cats and this took up all the cat hairs with ease, much easier than my dyson
It’s now a pleasure to vac I actually can’t stop picking it up to use it now for the slightest excuse just to use it!!
    You will not be disappointed
Resist the urge ( unlike me) to use it before it’s fully recharged then put it onto highest setting and you will be amazed, WORTH EVERY PENNY
    Well done Morphy Richards

We purchased this after reading the good reviews on the product and have found it to be just as good, if not better, as we expected!
We have a three bedroom house with all the upstairs carpeted and the downstairs with laminate flooring. We also have a hairy lurcher dog! We used the vacum as soon as it was pieced together (very easy to assemble) and it just had enough charge in it (from delivery) to do the whole house with it. We were amazed at how much dust and dog hair it sucked up, especially as we hoover regularly with our older vacum (although the brush bar had packed in on that, hence this purchase). We put it on charge and left it until the next day to go round again (it’s so light weight and easy to use that it doesn’t make hoovering seem a chore, especially when doing the stairs) and, again, we were well impressed with what was sucked up, but obviously this time whilst fully charged!
We would recommend this vacum as a quality and value for money purchase (we paid just under 90 for it)!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersDing Dong! Wowee she’s a wee stunner! Is this an important feature in your vacuum cleaner? Well in our case she replaces Henry who never grew out of throwing a wobbly everytime you tried to tidy him away in a cupboard – Ruby here is welcome to recline on a cushion by my fireside, none of my cupboards befit her.

Dear indestructible Henry, 23 years on [I know I know… gross] still roaring like a lion and guzzling like a lab [stinking like one too]. I say ‘guzzling” but taking on board folks comments that this supervac is best considered a ‘supplementary’ I had prehoovered. [you know that fabled practice of cleaning up for the cleaner coming – well when I unwrapped the glam svelte Ruby my first thought was – better get Henry to do the dirty work first] But despite his mighty roar the gentle Ruby filled her wee hamster pouch time and time again with his leftovers [and be warned first timers to these newfangled cordless beasts it seems but the size of a well stretched hamster pouch] Put your hand to her mouth she doesn’t feel have super suction power but the proof is there. At this stage of ownership I have had to empty the dust & hair filed cup out every room – which has admittedly seemed a lot of a faff for someone used to traditional hoovers – but honestly its a straightforward 30 second job, and macabrely satisfying. I am trusting that with my newfound enthusiasm for playing with her several times a day, after a while i’ll have sooked up the unspeakable backlog of grime, and won’t need to empty quite so often.

Manoevreability? 10/10 She smoothly almost intuitively glides everywhichway under sofa’s and into corners. Easily light enough for my moany old joints to tackle stairs and ceiling cobwebs. Bit frustrating that the length of the everso slender handbrush attachment wasn’t actually long enough to reach down to skirting boards behind heavy beds – but in fairness it got everywhere I needed it to in car.

Battery Life: Plenty to give one floor of 4 bed house a real going over.

Really my only gripe is the main rotating brush head. It sure does pick up hair [which has got to be a good thing right] We have two long haired lasses and a long haired dog and just in its first week I’ve cleared the brush head six times [probaly more often than I clean Henry’s annually] and it is a faffy job. But bear in mind that I’ve played with my new toy A LOT.

Free delivery provided by seller. Item arrived within two days of ordering, and machine came part charged ready for instant gratification. Very happy customer.
