Bought this after reading screeds of reviews for this and other cordless hoovers. Must say was sceptical after buying due to reviews about limited suction/ small collection chamber- however I was thrilled when product arrived!! Super lightweight, looks great, folds away for easy storage, has easy to use charging station- all looking good. Comes with some charge so you can try it out right away although instructions recommend fully charging. The suction power exceeded my expectations and it does a lovely job on both carpet and hard flooring as a quick run around. Undeniably is less suction power than an upright plug-in hoover, however I find it just as effective as other cordless hoovers I have tried, for a fraction of the price!! So quick and convenient having a cordless, I hoover much more regularly, and the battery has never ran out on me. The collection chamber is fairly small, but very easy to empty- I had read it was necessary to do so after every use but I have not found that to be the case. I can hoover my 2 bedroom flat at least 4/5 times before needing to empty chamber. I have washed foam filter as recommended in order to maximise suction and after about 4 months of use I’m still delighted with this product and have been recommending to friends and family.

Well designed, handy for laminate/lino/tiled floors, which is why I bought it. It can do carpet too, but not as well as more powerful vacuums. Also like the charging stand as oppose to having to attach fixtures to walls to hold it up whilst charging. Two year warranty is always good too, having bought this after returning a similar vacuum (different brand) which completely stopped working after less than a month. It also looks more stylish too.

I find this vacuum powerful enough to tackle all kind of mess in our house from loose mud, ash around the fire, dog hair and just general dust. We have a small bungalow and can do most of the house on one charge, and it takes on both carpet and vinyl floor with ease. There are only 2 little niggles with it, the button to open the dust compartment is really hard to press.. don’t know if this is just ours. I have to put it on a surface to get enough force. The other is that it often completely blocks between the foot and hoover area, thankfully the foot is removable and therefor this is easily unblocked – if you find it losing suction this is probably why.

Liked the design and it certainly picked up dog hairs easily on the stair. The suction is sufficient and works well in the upright position on my hard floors and can use the handheld option on the rugs. My only negative is the frequency with which you need to empty the dust canister and clean the filter – definitely every time you use it, a slightly larger capacity would be great but guess that may compromise the design! It’s my first cordless for some time and think it is excellent value for money, certainly cuts down the time vacuuming 2 flights of stairs and small rugs.

Really good for the money. Great weight and suction. Very impressed . Only negative is it needs emptying frequently but that’s okay . Would definitely recommend

I’m very pleased with this vacuum cleaner. I have a long haired Border Collie who moults incessantly. Cleaning has always been a little nightmarish. This cleaner picks up everything. It requires emptying after most uses, and occasionally midway through a full on tidy. This was made clear in the reviews posted on here and so was expected. Emptying the vac is pretty routine. The brush requires cleaning after most uses too, but this is due to my dog’s flowing locks 🙂
I’ve used the vacuum for over 2 months and it’s a breeze to pick up from the charger and do a quick 2 minute job. Would recommend following maintenance instructions in the manual re cleaning the vac. I’ve also purchased a spare HEPA Filter and Sponge as backups for when the originals need cleaning.
Like I said. Most pleased. Yes, the dust collector could be bigger, but for a fraction of the price of the vacuum heavy hitters this is a bargain!

This hoover is used for a house with 2 bedrooms, living room, hall and stairs carpets, hard floor in kitchen and bathroom. It’s attachments are adequate. It hasn’t ran out of charge when hoovering this large area. It’s easy to move around.

Very happy with the hoover, i had a Henry so no the suction is not as good but for what it is – lightweight very handy especially with a little 1 year old running round making tons of mess, i whip this of the charge and im away love that its so handy gets in all the nooks and crooks perfect for quick and easy clean up highly recommend, we dont have pets so cant comment on how well this would pick up animal hair but the child makes plenty of mess with food on the carpets it gets pretty deep in the rugs and the hoover is no effort to removing all bits

for the under 100 price, this is an excellent cleaner. only one criticism is the need to empty often. otherwise excellent, good price, value, handy, efficient. with amazon delivery speedy too.

Very happy with the vac, Especially good at picking up dog hair.I have used it on the stairs and found it very effective. It does need emptying after ever use as the dust receptacle is only small, but this does encourage you to keep it clean. Overall good value for money.

I love that it’s so quick and easy to use . I can never believe where all the dust comes from, so it does need emptying really often . The worse bit is that (my daughter has long hair ) it wraps the hair it sucks up round the roller and l keep having to remove it or it doesn’t work properly ! I have to cut hair out with scissors which isn’t easy ! I’m going to have to buy a conventional vacuum for deep clean and high places to reach , but this is great for a quick wiz round !

Good little vac. I got this as have 3 kids so couldn’t be bothered getting hoover out every night. Gets all crumbs up. I also have a cat and gets car hair up. Only reason why not given 5 stars is because slightly noisy.

Bought to replace our old hoover that died just before Xmas. I was surprised by how light the product is and I love the ease of use since the head swivels and makes the hoovering process much easier. The battery life is not too bad (we live across 3 floors and I can cover most of this before it needs recharging).

I like the charging mechanism – I did consider a Dyson but since we live in rented accommodation I did not fancy attaching the charging unit to the wall. This one is ideal as it has a little stand that can sit in the corner of any room.

I will admit that it is not the most powerful hoover but it does the job even it that means going over the same spot a couple of times to pick up some stubborn dirt.

All in all, very impressed with the product for the price that I paid.

Bought as a gift for my mum for christmas. When first used was impressed how light it was and was easy for my ageing mum to handle. However after a month the battery would not charge so had to return. Replacement received and so far so good.

Battery life is only 3 stars as it lasts only 10-15 minutes and takes 4 hours to charge.
However, I gave it 5 stars overall as I alternate vacuuming upstairs one day and downstairs the next, this is plenty of time to do this and for a cordless cleaner, the suction is great, really easy to use and it’s quite durable. I can’t see it breaking any time soon, it’s had a few knocks already.
    Looks nice too!
Well worth the buy and when it breaks eventually I will be getting anothe

I love this cleaner. It is beautifully designed and solidly made, but light and easy to use. The handle folds down to store away. The dust filter fills up quickly but gathers up loads of dust and forms it into a sausage which pops out in a oner into the bin. No bending down to switch on and off, no trailing cord….wonderful!

Always had electric cords – this is the first hoover I have bought which is cordless. so versatile and very very light, steering is great, good pick up from carpets, (Not shaggy rugs)..I love this machine. The only thing I have to say about this hoover is the dust canister is very small – hoover a room esp if you have pets, then one has to empty.
On the whole I will never go back to a hoover where you have to keep plugging i

Love this vacuum, it’s light and picks up dirt and dust and hair with little effort . I’ve used more expensive cleaners and they’re rubbish compared to this , the only thing is you do have to empty it a lot as it has a small dust compartment. Charging fully takes 4 hrs and it does my whole house and more on one charge . The front comes off to do stairs and edges . The handle folds for storage .

Can’t believe I’m getting excited over a vacuum but this is a godsend, due to numerous operations on my leg I’m not very good on my feet and I was constantly tripping over the cable on my old vacuum including one very nasty fall that knocked me out so being cable free is great. I like how the suction head on the floor can swivel around so you can vacuum all around you underneath and in between furniture etc without having to walk around and also this vacuum has very good suction even better than my old ‘Henry’ vacuum. Overall very pleased with purchase best 75 I ever spent just wish I had bought it years ago.

It does what it says –it isn’t a main cleaner but doesn’t pretend to be. Invaluable for small jobs –easy to use, emptying is a little bit messy but not nearly as bad as some of the larger ones. I use it in bedrooms as upright cleaner and hand held for stairs and spills. Wasn’t sure about buying it but ever so glad I did–don’t think the upstairs carpets would agree!! it is so handy they get cleaned much more often!!! It was delivered well within the dates specified and assembly was easy even for me. Have not rated for durability as I have only had it a few months so cannot comment on that.

Haven’t had it long but I love it!
So easy to just pick up and hoover what’s needed. I find myself hoovering way more now, one little crumb and it’s out.
I manage to hoover my whole (3 bed) house before loosing battery.
I find it extra handy you can take motor piece off to use as a hand held bit, especially useful to clean the car.

I bought it a few weeks ago but only used it once to try it out. The vac looks sleek and is with a good finish. Have not yet used the charge.

The only problem I had so far is that the base where the vac rest on and recharge is very stiff – I had to press really hard so that to assemble the two pieces of the charging base. Likewise, it was difficult to separate.

But overall I would recommend this one – looks nice and love it so far.

I wanted a cordless cleaner but I wanted a hand held and an upright version. This fits the bill and was a reasonable price. As people have commented regular emptying is needed but that is easy. I can clean all my house on less than one charge and find this machine better on my laminate flooring than my traditional upright. All in all a very pleasing gadget.

I have been using this machine for over a year now and still think it is good for the price I paid. It’s lightweight which I needed and I would reiterate that it needs emptying regularly plus wash the filters etc every now and then. Still a very useful gadget.

This is brilliant. Light to handle and no trailing cord to get in the way. The suction is very good for a small hoover. Being able to use the hand held to is really useful. Ok so you have to empty it more than a cylinder hoover but thats no real hardship as its so easy to do.

I ordered this unit after reading lots of reviews. It impressed me out of the box. It is ligh weight and attractive. It came with some charge so it was quickly into use. The detachable hand vacuum makes it great for many occasional uses but what I bought it for a what impressed me most was the folding handle which means it goes easily into a cupboard, but more, the charging dock is no bigger than the footplate so it even looks neat when charging. Good power. I am a fussy buyer but this one had me smiling!

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersI ordered this by mistake, not realisiing it was same as I already have, but different model number,so Im guessing this is an updated version. The old one I have had for around five years and is still going strong so no complaints there, though the hand held function was never very efficient. But the machine on the whole does a good job.Almost cancelled this one, when I realised Id doubled up,but Im so glad I didnt.I cant say enough about it,its THE handiest thing ever, efficient, good suction both in the main function and handheld.I have 2 cats so vacuum every day, havent used my main vacuum cleaner since getting this one,it does just as good a job as any others Ive used, and no cables to stumble over or plug in from room to room.I have a 2 bedroom house with stairs and I can whizz through the whole house, with plenty of charge to spare. It really is a brilliant machine, and makes life a lot simpler, just lift off the charger and go.Ive seen cordless machines advertised at much, much higher prices than this, and I dont suppose they do any better a job than this one does.I love it and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.I know it’s hard to be sure of what to settle for when choosing things like this,I wanted value for money and efficiency, got both, plusthe delivery was 2 days later than it should have been and so Amazon gave me a 15 pound gift voucher, which meant in reality I only paid 60 for this.A really good buy that Im delighted with,no regrets at all about buying it ,a happy ,happy customer 🙂 Folds down for easy storage, charges quickly,ok the dust box isnt too big,but thats not an issue for me,I empty it every time I use it,its amazing how much it DOES collect, crumbs if Ive been messy lol,cat hair, brings the pile of my carpet up so I can see the hoover lines…sad I know but I love that lol. What more can I say?Excellent,if in doubt try it out 🙂

Picks up well but don’t recommend for extreme dirt and dust. Hair gets caught but can remove the brush to get it out. Really easy to move around, is the best hoover I’ve had yet.

Other reviews say its replaced their normal vacuum, it’s good but not good enough if you have kids. Good that it’s quick and simple to use, not so good when kids have been in and out of the house carrying what seems to be half the garden with them. For this the trusty Dyson works wonders. Still give it a four star as a day to day, quick hoover up machine, it works wonders.

I love this little vac. It is perfect for my small flat & gets the carpet & rugs looking great. It is a very small chamber for the lint & dust – fine for my usage, which is whizz round once a day & then empty but I’d imagine it could get on your nerves in a bigger space if you have to empty more frequently. The vac looks stylish too and I love the colour. It takes up very little room to store/charge as it is small but perfectly formed! I like the fact that you only get a couple of essential tools & they fit on the unit as most vacs give you too many & I never use them anyway.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is my first cordless vacuum and I was genuinely excited to try it when I arrived. It’s so easy to use, it came charged so I could use it straight away, and it was easy to assemble everything. I love that it’s small and pretty powerful, it was so handy to have the hand held vacuum on it too because it made switching between them for awkward to reach places really easy.
The biggest downside is that the capacity is pretty small (I was using it on a pretty soiled carpet though) so I had to empty it mid use a few times, but it’s easy to empty so I think the pros outweigh this issue. On the plus side emptying it like that really showed how much it was picking up and it was quite impressive going from my pretty useless old vacuum to this one.

  46. DebI63sutepyuzt says:

My favorite part about the vacuum is that there’s a part that can be removed in the bottom so remove the excess hair and dust (being 2 girls and a cat). Also the fact that it’s wireless makes life so much easier.
Cons: isn’t that strong of a pull in the vacuum, sometimes takes me a while to vacuum something up or i’d have to go over and over again to vacuum it up.

  47. CathernBQG says:

I love this little cordless vacuum. It’s really handy as a quick backup to our more powerful corded vac. It works well on carpets and lino floors, and even did an adequate job on the stairs. The rotating brush helps pick up very fine pet hairs (we have two house rabbits) without having to get down on your knees to use an upholstery attachment (I have to do that with the bigger vacuum).

There are a few little quibbles – the brush won’t go right up to the edge of a room and can get a bit fiddly to clean when there are long hairs wound round it, and the filter needs cleaning out regularly. Having said that, the filter is easy to get to so this isn’t much of an issue for me.

Overall, I think this is a great little vacuum. It’s a battery powered one, so I wouldn’t expect it to be as powerful as a corded one. It wouldn’t replace my main vac, but it’s a great substitute for smaller ‘top-up’ vacuuming tasks.

This is a great machine. The right weight, very flexible, looks good (I love red) and easily clips and unclips into the cradle for charging. And taking the hand-held vacuum in and out is also neatly done. I was concerned that the section for collecting the dirt (I have two gorgeous, but extremely hairy border collies) would not be big enough but it is fine, I just have to empty it with every use. The ease of this cleaner has given more incentive to use it daily, therefore cleaner floors and a happier me.

Perfect for my little cottage (mostly hard floors but some carpet too), for scooting down to my yoga hut at the bottom of the garden after classes, and for using the handheld for cat hair on the sofa and for cleaning my car, which is in a permit parking area, so not easily accessible. Compact, lightweight, attractive and so easy to use. No awkward unpacking or assembly, as promised. Totally foolproof from the start. This is my first vacuum love affair.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersArrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to unpack and try it, very easy to assemble. It came with plenty of charge so I got stuck in. Having a Pug who’s fur come’s out like a xmas tree shedding it’s needles very day of the week I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of fur it picked up. I emptied the canister after hoovering and it was quite full plus I cleaned the brush. I think this will have to be done very time I use it but that is not a problem. Pro’s. Very light, easy to empty, compact, picks up well, goes under furniture easily and not noisy. I also love the fact it’s a 2 in 1 and can be whipped out for minor job’s. Con’s. The handle is quite short but not a problem for me as I’m only 5ft but would imagine that a taller person may find this awkward. I’m still giving 5 star’s as it is perfect for my need’s. Arrived promptly and we’ll packaged. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersWell I never thought I would write about a vacuum cleaner. This is awesome though, the power is surprising for such a light piece of kit. It charges reasonably quickly and the charge easily last long enough for a large house. The front comes off to use as a handheld, which is equally as powerful. The only problem is it needs emptied often, but due to the size of the vacuum I can’t really see any way round this. Overall a great vacuum. It came well packaged and was very easy to set up for its first use. Arrived quickly via Amazon Prime.

Golden Review Award: 59 From Our UsersMorphy Richards, what have you done to me? I’ve turned into a vacuumaholic! I lever thought that I would be singing the praises of a vacuum cleaner, because I hate them with a passion! However, I LOVE this vacuum cleaner, it’s so easy to use and does a seriously good job. I can vacuum the living room in the time it would have taken me to get out, plug in and stub my toe on the old vacuum I owned.

It may be small, but boy is it sturdy. Mine came with some charge, so I gave my VERY grubby carpet a quick going over. I checked out how to empty it, and the collection area was pretty full with dust and dirt. I’d only vacuumed a small area, and genuinely thought I’d been sold a 2nd hand one that hadn’t been inspected correctly. It’s only having used it so often that I now know this powerhouse does an amazing job. Carpets were so grubby when I moved in a month ago, that I thought I would have to replace them. Not anymore, this beauty has really brought them back to a good, clean standard. Goes great over stone floors too, and I love the fact that the charging station has an attachment area for the accessories. The hand held unit releases quickly for those tough to reach spots, then slots back in smoothly so you can carry on seamlessly.

Only criticism is that I still have to empty it frequently, and the filter has also needed a darn good clean. It’s not a bad thing, it means that it’s doing what it should, it’s just a little inconvenient. I do take some solace that as my carpets get cleaner, the frequency which I have to empty the cleaner should become less and less.

If you have lots of carpet, you’ll need a good mains hoover as well but I have found this invaluable for quick carpet sweeps. It does a excellent job of laminate flooring which my hoover cannot cope with and the hand held part looks after the sofa. The free steam cleaner is now the way I keep the kitchen laminate clean and it is a huge improvement on a mop. Very good value.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBeen using this vacuum for 2 weeks now, and I think it’s great. It’s so handy to use daily, rather than haul the main hoover out. It’s light enough to carry around easily, and the hand vacuum is excellent. The tools for the hand vacuum get rid of pet hair on my furniture and make hoovering the stairs easy. I use it mainly for hardwood floors, but it cleans carpet well too. I would have given it 5 stars, but it doesn’t clean deep into carpet pile. It struggled to entirely remove bicarbonate I’d put on a carpet to freshen it. Despite this, I still rate it very highly as I don’t think it’s designed for thorough deep cleaning, but is perfect for day-to-day removal of pet hair, dust and dirt.

Very flexible vacuum cleaner, with decent power and great results. It requires a lot of maintenance though as you need to power it every time you vacuum the whole house, and you need to clean it every time you do a big clean as well. Overall, despite the hassles mentioned, I’m quite happy with it’s performance.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersReally pleased and much better than I expected. Performs well, is much easier than my previous mains cleaner to use. Because it is so handy just to lift out it gets used all the time for a quick clean as necessary rather than a big, less frequent sweep. There is an issue that it does need emptying more frequently but this is a very small, easy job rather than creating the dust cloud that emptying the bigger cleaner involved. Once you get used to the routine it is much easier to frequently empty this cleaner rather than the bigger job with the old cleaner. The detachable hand held cleaner is really useful.
I bought this as a stop-gap and an upstairs cleaner when the old main cleaner packed in,. I will not now be buying a mains cleaner.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersLove this, have a very busy house with kids trapsing in from garden, school, everywhere and who get more in floor than plate. Revolutionised my house cleaning – faster than a brush, as good as vaccum cleaner (within reason) and has been one of the best work/ effort saving devices I’ve ever bought. Love it and recommend it to quite a few people …super for the price. I use it every day …had a hand held for years (black and decker) that barely used….the floor cleaning on carpet, tile and wood well surpasses my old one and almost as good as my vaccum. Well worth it….

With the handheld vac detached it is equally as good at minor tasks, or at cleaning in confind areas such as the car. Good accessories and with a fast charge Lion battery the 2 in 1 gives plenty of power without the noise of other powerful cordless vacs. It is also lighter to carry. Great value

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersHave you ever bought something and instantly though, why has it taken me so long to put my hands in my pocket and buy this? Well, I have. The cordless hoover by Morphy Richards has been a household stable, and I’m still wondering how I ever lived without it. The price is not only pocket friendly, but the device is suitable for all types of households. It’s lightweight design makes it perfect for dashing around the house when those unexpected guests turn up, the removable compartments make it perfect for grabbing those stair corners and for finally cleaning out the car. Why buy more than one hoover when this does it all. It has a quick charge point, around 2hrs charge will give you just enough time to get five to six rooms cleaned. There is also a carpet and floor setting, perfect for those annoying embedded crumbs you seem to find everywhere. It may just be a hoover, but it’s a hoover with a difference. No more being pulled back by the annoying plug socket, it’s freedom in its own right and with a two year guarantee, you’ve not got much to lose.

Great product for the price, so handy – suction is not as good as my regular Dyson vacuum cleaner, but its great for quick clean-up’s. The hand held part is brilliant for the car & for just quickly picking up crumbs etc. It doesn’t hold a great amount of ‘dirt’ but its easy to clean out, so no problem really, overall am very happy

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI run a small cleaning company so use a lot of hoovers! This is the best value cordless I have used, really not worth spending a fortune on the bigger brands.
The design is great and perfect if you have limited space as the handle folds down so it’s quite compact.
The battery lasts longer than other cordless hoovers and the hoover sits on a freestanding base to charge which is a great design.
It’s very simple to convert to a handheld which is useful for stairs and cars.
For a small hoover it’s quite powerful and holds quite a lot so you don’t have to keep emptying it.

I would highly recommend for a small to medium sized house with hard floors and carpets that don’t have a deep pile. For a big house or one with lots of deep carpet a bigger more powerful hoover with a very good brush would be needed – this would be ideal as a second hoove

Still running well – the key is to empty it every time either before or after use, because the fluff reservoir is small.
Sometimes things get caught in the tube from the sweeper section so you have to poke them out.
Handheld bit is excellent for mopping up dust after I’ve been drilling a wall.

Bought this for beloved’s 67th birthday, mainly for a ‘quick whip round’ after grandchildren etc.
    Price matches age almost exactly.

Assembled it straight from the box (will read the ‘destructions’ later, if necessary).

I expected it would need charging before first use, but I accidentally switched it on while assembling.
So quickly whipped round the sitting room, hall and bedroom (edges only).
Picked up dust and paper fragments admirably.

My main worry now is that I will be appointed resident expert.

Note from photos that it fits tidily behind the hall door, handle folded down.

Will report back later on how it lasts.
    But so far, so excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Too easy!

This is light weight, quiet yet high performance vac compared to Dyson V6 but over 50% cheaper in price. It gets the job done with easy to empty/clean fairly good size container (surprised that it was slightly larger capacity to Dyson V6!), baby/kid loves it as it is not too loud and most importantly, battery life is very good and it folds away nicely

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this whilst price reduced and its amazingly handy. Dont be under any illusions, this is not an all singing all dancing Dyson power sucking hoover, but they are considerably much more expensive. This is a light and versatile cleaner with all the attachments required for keeping on top of your home carpet cleaning. Small enough to be stored away with a folding handle which reduces the high by around half. Living in a 3 bedroom house we have been able to use it to clean each room without requiring a charge in between and without a card your free to move around. The centre section removes to become a hand held vacuum which is great for the stairs and hard to reach areas. Can easily wizz between rooms and with two settings for power can allow for different surfaces with the press of a button. Dirt tray is quite small so does need emptying out often but this is easily done. Dont need anything stronger than this.

Golden Review Award: 38 From Our UsersI had been watching this cordless vacuum cleaner for over a week at the then offer price of 59.99. To be perfectly honest, it appeared too good to be true when reading the reviews.

We already own an upright vacuum that won a Which? Best Buy award, a pull along from a well known German company that is by far the most powerful vacuum cleaner we’ve ever owned, a handheld cordless cleaner and, to top it all off, a robot cleaner from the company that pretty much started that trend off. They’re all very good in their own right and the robot cleaner takes care of our upstairs area every day.

However, you can never have enough vacuum cleaners, can you? In pursuit of the ultimate in convenience, I have been looking for an upright cordless that could be left in our utility room and whipped out in a flash for the moments when you want a quick clean but can’t be doing with getting the traditional vacuum cleaner out. Let’s be honest, they’re a pain to plug in, wrestle with the power cord, heavy to use in most cases and, as good as they are, they’re becoming a bit old hat.

Well, I’m delighted to say that the 732005 Supervac has just become our new best friend. If you’re looking for something for that fast, convenient and lightweight swift clean, don’t hesitate to buy it. In terms of value for money, this is an almost flawless product. I might not say the same if I’d paid full price for it, but at 59.99 or anything below 100, I think it is worth every penny.

Don’t expect it to be a direct replacement for any mains powered vacuum. It isn’t and nor is it intended to be. It is there to save you hassle and get rid of the majority of surface dust or items in a matter of minutes – and it does that quite brilliantly.

It is very well packaged and we had ours up and running within 5 minutes. There really isn’t anything to it. It didn’t last long on first run out because the battery didn’t contain much charge, but once it was fully charged we’ve found we get 30-35 minutes out of it – and that is using it almost solely in high power mode (there are two power levels).

It is extremely lightweight and surprisingly quiet too. Someone else wrote a review in which they said it would encourage children to vacuum – and I think they’re spot on. It will because it is so easy to push and use.

The powered brushes in the main suction head do a fantastic job but you’ll need to keep cleaning them regularly if you’re a dog or cat owner. I have discovered that they’re actually very good at picking up pet hairs, contrary to the reviews of a few others. That was a pleasant suprise and I suspect their efficiency is largely down to how often you clean the brush head (it is removed for clean very easily too).

The folding handle is a touch of genius too because you can operate the vacuum with the handle folded back, thereby halving the height of the cleaner and making the cleaner of tight spaces incredibly easy (my wife has used it on the stairs with the handle folded). You can also remove the mini hand-held cleaner is you want to with ease. One pull of a a trigger and it clips out. Snap it back in afterwards and it is that simple.

If I had to be ultra critical then I’d say that the cleaning head sits very tight to the floor, so if there are any mediu to large objects then you’ll find that it pushes them along instead of sucking them up. However, the cleaner is light enough for you to lift it with one hand, plonk it down on the object and, hey-presto, it cleans it up.

Emptying the container is reasonably easy but also something I would recommend you do after each clean, or at least after two uses. The reason I say that isn’t down to the size of the container itself but to the filter system. You unclip the handheld unit and then press a button to release the dirt container. You then have to pull out the filter head and this is where you’ll find two more items. The first is that there is a foam backing on the filter than gets very clogged up, very quickly. A quick tap of it over a bin will get rid of most of the dirt but you then have another section that is a circular cap that flips up. This also gets very clogged up but again a tap of it over a bin is enough to clean it out. Then you have the the container itself – and the dirt just empties out of that. This might sound complicated but it is all done in 30 seconds. I take the amount of dust on the filters to be a positive sign instead of the negative that some reviewers have highlighted – it is showing you that the cleaner is working effectively.

The cleaning head itself is astonishingly well designed. It is narrow enough to get between chair legs with total ease and into a lot tighter places. However, it also swivels and pivots. That makes manoeuvring the cleaner to be an absolute joy.

Edge cleaning might not be perfect but I can’t say we’ve found it to be an issue. If it doesn’t pick up from the edge of the cleaning head, approach the area with the head facing forward and vice versa. It has never failed to do its job for us if we do that.

Charging is not fast. On first charge we found that it took a good 4 hours from being flat. That said, we had ran it to the point it cuts out when the battery is flat. Since then, it hasn’t been a problem because we just latch it on to the very well designed stand and leave it. We’ve never gone to the cleaner to find it isn’t fully charged (indicated by a green light on the front). On the subject of the stand, it also houses 3 cleaning attachments that all fit the handheld clip-off unit. One is the typical thing nozzle and the others are intended to be for fabric/furniture cleaning. We’ve not used them so I can’t comment on how effective they are.

Finally, the entire unit is very good looking. I was extremely surprised at how good it looks. The finish is a smart metallic red with silver elements on the handles, etc.

All in all this is a brilliant product for the price and I can’t recommend it enough. It has, unquestionably, provided us with the final element of convenience we were looking for.

    Far exceeded my expectations!

If you have a toddler that cries her eyes out as soon as you take your hoover out this is the one for you! Not as much noise as my old corded one and the little one doesn’t get scared at all due to little noise. Ideal for everyday cleaning, had just enough suction but don’t expect too much however I was still surprised with the amount of dust it picked up. Got it on sale so pleased with the price. The only downfall is that it takes a bit of time to charge. I do not think this could clean a large house on single charge. But if you have a small place and looking for a light cordless helper you this could be the option for you.

I bought one of these 18 months ago and use it on a daily basis as it is much lighter and quicker to use than my larger vacuum although you do need to empty it out quite frequently due to the size of the dust compartment. We are a family of four with three dogs so we have a lot of dust, hair and general detritus that needs picking up. I have really given this little vacuum a thrashing and now the head had broken but I will definitely be buying another one of these.

This is super light weight; excellent for anyone with back problems or who cannot lift anything easily; it’s also nice and easy to push around (unlike some so called light weight cleaners that are actually only light to lift up but are hard to push). Bought it as an ‘upstairs’ vacuum cleaner but tend to bring it down for when just a quick going over is needed as it is so light weight and as it is cordless easy to use. Works well as a hand-held too. It is more for light cleaning really and does not have the usefulness of an extension tube as on a ‘normal’ vac would have. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI absolutely love this little hoover! So much so that I’ve just ordered myself another one so I can keep one upstairs and the other one downstairs. I can’t recommend it enough! It is so easy to use especially on wood flooring, can whizz around in no time. It’s also good on carpet. Easy to clean as all parts come apart and click back very easily. Brought one for my mother which she loves and says cleaning her stairs is much easier with it, also recommend to friends.

I just do not give 5 stars because I do not know how to get in touch with the product’s responsibles. He is excellent and a great help for the day to day mainly for those who have small children. But now about to complete 1 year of use is with problems to call and there are days that I can not even.

I had an upright and a cylinder vacuum for cleaning downstairs, because of my 3 dogs constantly moulting. Unfortunately I only have 1 left and decided I didn’t need to clean as much.
I have 2 medium sized rugs on top of a laminate floor.
It does a really good job but it has to be emptied each time as it blocks very easily.
It has a good selection of usable tools and the convenience of just lifting it out of its cradle instead of unwinding loads of cable, is great.
I wouldn’t recommend using it for a fully carpeted room as, even though it has an 18v battery, the suction isn’t strong enough.

(Arrived on time, easy set-up and user friendly manual.)

Pros: Don’t know how I managed to cope with heavy, corded hoovers for so long. This is great because it’s light and cordless, plus the main hoover detaches from the big base, so you can use it for breadcrumbs and all sorts of small surfaces are you would with handheld mini hoovers. The charge doesn’t last super long but it’s more enough to hoover the whole house if you leave it in charge the rest of the time.

Cons: For pet hair it’s not ideal because the amount of dust it can store is very limited and pet hair will get stuck both inside and on the external “brush” bit. It requires frequent emptying (about every 2nd use), but it’s not complicated to empty as are other hoovers since it doesn’t have bags, you just press on a button on the smaller bit and open it, emptying straight in the bin.

Overall, glad I bought it, especially for the massively reduced price.
