I purchased these to give as a house warming present. I am told that they work well on an induction job and are easy to clean. Only time will prove endurability.

It’s hard to get excited over saucepans, but these are great. They look good, there are lots of different sizes and the steamer is great. I love that you can drain them with the lids and I’ve also used a steamer for draining as it’s perfect for smaller portions instead of using a bigger colander. I would recommend

I love my new pans they are great quality. Every pan you need for a multitude of cooking items. They are easy to clean and don’t take a lot of scrubbing. I made cheese sauce and in my old pan it was a nightmare to get off after several products and scrubbing I thought no more cheese sauce but with these pans all you need is your washing up liquid and a dish brush and comes off easily.

These pans are amazing – the design details are terrific. You can drain your pan with the lid still firmly on and each pan has a pouring lip. Can’t fault these at all, really good quality and value for money.

These are excellent for induction hobs but be aware that when cooking sauces, it is easy to burn at the bottom. Maybe something to do with the low weight of metal in the base of the pa

I like these saucepans. Sturdy, effective and easy to wash. The utensils are good, but don’t put them in the dishwasher or the chrome effect flakes off. The knives are especially good, really sharp and feel solid.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWith 2021 gas prices at an all-time high we got a portable induction hob which will also see use when camping. Our decades-old stainless IKEA pans were incompatible so this set seemed ideal to use with the hob. The handles are perhaps a tad too large as the smallest pan is unbalanced when empty and some of the handles needed to be loosened and re-tightened so I could straighten them, an easy job that shouldn’t put you off. The bolts used for the handles and lids appear to be stainless, which is not always the case with other pans we’ve had.

I was interested in the mottled staining/pattern on the insides of the pans as reported by other users. This appears to be a short-term seasoning issue as ours had the same but have now cleared after a month or so, we use stainless scouring pads for a thorough clean which was one of the reasons for choosing stainless pans.

The lid handles will start to fill with water if immersed for any length of time, so either make some adjustments to them, live with it, or clean them without chucking them in the sink. This affects other, similar designs.

I like the straining rim built into the lids, but I’ve found it can interfere with steamer inserts – the smallest pan doesn’t have a lid. For those wondering about food sticking, these are no better or worse than other stainless pans in that respect, if you’re concerned get non-stick pans for those cooking jobs – I recommend Scoville. Overall, a decent pan set for a good price that needs time to season. If you want better, pay more.

I bought these to replace a set of pans that had Teflon flaking off the rims. These pans are just as good, better value and have a 10 year guarantee. I noted one reviewer complaining that food stuck to the pans. That happens when you leave the pan boiling for too long, doesn’t it?

I am so pleased with my new saucepans, I took a long time trying to choose which ones to buy. I have to say I definitely made the right choice. These saucepans are very smart looking, everything in the description is correct. I even burnt some potatoes the other day and I was so pleased as it was so easy to clean it. It is like new. I would definitely recommend these as they are great. Thanks again Amazo

  24. Anonymous says:

I was shopping around for some new pans, as I had just bought a new induction hob and needed pans that would work with it.
These pans are good quality and seem very solid. The handles seem firmly attached and the lids seem sturdy too,( glass lids are always useful for seeing if things are bubbling along nicely) they fit onto the pans tight enough to be functional, but maybe they could be just ever so slightly tighter, maybe it was just the ones I got, but it’s barely noticeable and certainly not a deal breaker.
A bonus is the 2 straining holes areas that are built into the sides of the lids. Although it may be still quicker and easier using a colander, depending on what you are straining. Also a nice bonus is the measuring lines on the inside.
Overall, I have no regrets buying these pans, even though I was a little unsure after reading some of the other reviews. They have been serving me well for several weeks as of writing this review and I think they will last at least several years!

Bought an inductor hob so needed a few pans as some of mine were not magnetic. Quality of these are good, need to get the frying pan not to stick as I am used to the non-stick pans. Lids are a great design so you strain the water from them. Steaming pans take up a bit of space in the cabinet.

I found just perfect for healthy Indian cooking. We stopped using non stick many years ago and switched to other healthy options. I was looking for pans with thick base and specifically for Indian cooking which needs lot of prep, cooking, spices, etc. These pans are my beauties! I have attached a pic of potatoes cooked Indian style in one of the pans and AFTER photo of the base of pan which you can see isn’t too much to clean. While I take all the care not to but I don’t mind little bit burnt food. Got a good bargain on Amazon.

    Great option for healthy cooking

I washed them before use and have used them every day, they still look like new. They distribute the heat evenly so that once the pan is brought to the boil you can turn it down and leave it (with the lid on) and it doesn’t boil dry (as long as you don’t leave it for hours!) The frying pan can stick a little if you don’t keep an eye on it but is very easy to clean. They also stack really nicely. They were replacements for pans that have lasted me 30 years so I am hopeful that they will last just as well.

Great for my ceramic hob. Food cooks quicker than my last set of pots. Have been using them for some time and happy with all bar the frying pan which I found caused goods yo stick. Saucepans are spot on. Frying pan on the other hand is not so good as everything sticks to it and it’s a nightmare to clean. So yes would recommend the sauspans but not the frying pan.

  37. Anonymous says:

Good set of pans for a good price. Only reason i haven’t given 5 stars is the smallest pan isn’t very well balanced. The weight of the handle tips the pan so while it’s ok when full if you are just heating oil or butter up you have to be careful as it doesn’t take much for it to tip over.

  38. Anonymous says:

Very good quality pan set. They’re sturdy and cook evenly without that awful non-stick coating. My only criticism is that they can be a faff to clean – the inside gets stained so requires a scourer and plenty of elbow grease. But hey, still a decent purchase!

These have wonderful heat distribution in induction hobs. I didn’t realise how much quicker they would heat up compared to some of my other pans and was very happy. The only thing about them is just how much things stick to the bottom of these pans. I realise they are not described as “non-stick” so maybe this should have been expected, but still. A lot of oil or butter is necessary. The scrubbing isnt hard though.

Normal saucepans will not work on my Induction cooker so i had to buy a set of these, was pleased to see they are of a strong construction (no loose handles) with a strong base on them, they are easy to clean and come with glass lids (with air escape hole) so if you like cooking i would say buy some of these.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSeriously. The reviews calling out discoloration and such – these are a great set of budget stainless steal pans.

Discolouration is simply an occupational hazard with any stainless steal product. Carbonisation is a killer but is extremely easy to rectify. And those moaning about them sticking just don’t know how to use them correctly.

Discolouration? Simply use a little bit of clear/white vinegar, wipe and let it sit and it will remedy any marks.

If the pan is sticking – simply make sure the pan has been heated before using and you are using the correct oil that has already come to cooking temperature. Using extra virgin oil of any kind is a no no and will cause both discolouration and sticking. Use high burning point oil such as corn, vegetable or nut oil.

Great heat distribution on a gas stove and internal measurement marks and pouring spouts are super handy too.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI’ve stopped using non-stock pans and have opted to use stainless steel. I already bought morphy Richards 5 piece pan set a little while ago.
I only really wanted to buy an additional frying pan however it worked out better value for money to buy another whole set. (Frying pan on its own was almost the price of a set)
I’m extremely pleased with it and as I have already become accustomed to using stainless steel pans luckily I don’t have problem cooking on them.

For first time users it can take a bit of time getting use it non stick, but I find if you heat the pans/frying pan gently first and line it with a little bit of oil there is no issues (8 out of 10 times)
The only thing I would advice is to only wash the pans when they have thoroughly cooled as it can cause slight discolouration over time if run water over them when it’s still warm; which doesn’t effect cooking but doesn’t look very nice.
All in all very happy with my purchase and would buy from this brand again.

I was using this 5 peice pan set from December i did lot of experiments with this pans and these are working really great and worth buying for every household to buy these kind of pan set. The best part of this pan set was their stainless steel lids with water draining on sides, which is more helpful for food preparations and the handles are griped very nice the bottoms of the pan are thick and heat distribution was good. Comig to the cleaning part in general when i used other stainless steel products the food stains are very hard to remove whereas in this pans the stain are easily washable which i like the mos

Had to replace pans having fitted new induction hob, these offer decent value, yes as some reviews have stated the frying pan is not nonstick, but I find it reasonably easy to clean, so can’t fault the set so far, also would have liked them to be stackable, but for under 40 I’m very pleased with purchase.

It was a purchase for our new house…
    Could not choose better.
One month in – and not even a sign of scratches or burns – super easy to clean even with most messy food ypu could stuff in. Boils up really fast.
At first might give away a tiny bit of weird smell – due to them being new… now nothing else I would choose.

I’ve had these pans for just over two years and they still look as good as new. My colander is redundant as the straining holes in the lids are so efficient that I haven’t needed to use it since buying these pans! I have given this a 4 star rating because the frying pan isn’t non-stick so I don’t use it (I bought a non stick pan separately). Other than that this is a great quality saucepan set and would recommend highly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was a bit skeptical at first about the quality of the product due to the price when compared to other options in the market. However, I am so glad I bought this set. All the pans are very sturdy and good to use. They look very stylish too and are a very good value for the money. Even the pan is brilliant and food does not stick to the bottom which you’d normally expect in a stainless steel pan especially in Indian style cooking. I just loved the product and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to buy these.

We’ve recently moved into a new house and realised that most of our non-stick pans had started to peel, so we felt it was a good time to grab a new set, especially as the new place has a gas hob rather than electric. These pans feel solid and well built, and get REALLY hot over a gas burner which takes a little getting used to. A bit more oil is required than when using a non-stick version otherwise stuff will start to burn/stick quickly though despite this they are still very easy to clean. The built in drainer on the lids has come in really handy for draining pasta and rice instead of using a collander, saving a bit of washing up in the process.

I am happy but as a single bloke I bought it to look good in my Poggenpohl kitchen. I am sure they will be ok when I get weened of my black and gritty frying pan and battered wock, my trusty two kitchen pals I have used for years. All I can say is they feel quality and the knives cut through Amazon packaging like a light sabre. After weeks of use I can say all good. However if you want to hang the items of the wall finding hooks to do the job is hard. They just out at half 6 to 7 o’clock off the walls. Tin opener is not heavy duty well machined. It’s pretty sure and had been replaced by one that can actually open to tins.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGood quality stainless pan set but not as good as my Swan pans, which I can’t get now. I only needed to replace the milk pan and one small pan but it is cheaper to buy a set rather than the two pans individually. I haven’t tried the fry pan yet as I have a marble fry pan that I can dry fry in but the other pans are what I expected from the Morphy Richards brand. They are lightweight, easy to clean and work well at low temperatures. I can only base this review on my usage on an Induction hob so other hobs will be different of course. As Induction does not produce direct heat lightweight pans are ideal as they need little energy to heat up but they could be disastrous on other types of hob, including gas, if the temperatures can’t be regulated as well. These pans also come with pouring lids, which sit well within the pan’s rim and liquids can be easily poured out through the holes, without spilling the cooked food. A good pan set, a good price with good quality so I recommend these.
