I tried these boots as I have large calf muscles and have struggled with other brands. The neoprene section is very accommodating and allows for a perfect fit. They also have a very sturdy feel to them, overall I am very happy with them and the price makes them good vaslue.
Really comfortable & supportive. Look good, warm & have a good sole. Perfect for dog walks. Much better than my previous pair of Hunters. Since the last lock down I must have worn them nearly every day at some point! Also have been ideal for gardening & outdoor DIY projects.
Pros
Great quality
Nice hard toe
Good thick sole
Great inner lining
Cons
U.K. 12 was massive.
This were looking great until I tried them on and my side 11.5uk foot was lost in them. Normally this would be a problem but these even with thick shocks were just too big.
I returned this but I would have kept them if they had fit.
Husband likes them but caused blister as hard round foot and bigger than expected
These muck boots are so much better than standard wellingtons. They are a snug fit, warm and appear to have a better grip than ordinary Wellies. In the past, whenever I have worn wellingtons, they are ‘loose’ around the foot and you’d run the risk of loosing them in sticky mud – not these.
I really like these boots they are very comfortable and warm even on the coldest days the only problem I have is they seem so far to be getting a bit damp inside. I am trying to work out why.
Have been wearing muck boots for over 10 years and this style is the best boot I have ever purchased. I have had many pairs of boots of different styles and makes but none are in the same class as this style of muck boot.
Second pair I’ve bought last pair I had for ten years. I use them fo fishing and walking ver comfortably.
Very Comfortable for walking, and good value for the money much better than the Hunters
had them for about a week now, and have used them on country walks, very comfortable, warm and dry, only minor quibble is when i put them on the neoprene part at the top of the boot tends to roll over into the boot and i have to pull it out/straighten it. I did think about getting boots with the adjustable tops to allow easy on/off, but over all glad i got these.
First time I have worn Muck boots, but will defiantly be getting them again, very comfy and warm
Excellent product. Quality of boots reflect the price. Would recommend. Comfortable fit. Warm with good thick sole and tread. Happy customer.
Bad man boots – never looked so rascal.
Big up yaself, Muck!
Other comments refer to weight! Absolutely disagree. Perfect and so much better than other pricey ones. rubber soles are quite with very good grip.
Ordered these to replace my 7yr old Muckmasters. Great solid boot for all outdoor uses. I walk about 5 miles a day over rough ground in these & they are very comfortable in all weathers. I’d say they are about half a size bigger than my usual size 8 but I expected that. I usually wear a couple of pairs of hiking socks with mine.
They may be a bit dear for wellies but if they last me 5 yrs then they’re a bargain in my opinion.
Just perfect. My second pair of Muck Boots – my first lasted 5 years, & further 2 with a small leak that I put up with! Knew I wanted Muck Boots again to replace them.
Great boot!
I’ve had Hunters for the last 25 years, the ones with the neoprene lining for the last 2 pairs but the build quality went down over the years, I said I’d look at alternatives when the time came.
Anyway, time to replace and I looked at all sorts, having an equestrian background I know plenty who wore short muck boots.
The reviews seemed good and the company is also a long standing one.
When they arrived they felt a lot sturdier than the hunters, the sole is obviously much more substantial. The
leg rubber is firmer too.
After wearing them daily for around a month, I’m happy and converted.
They are so comfy, the hunters would feel like crocks in comparison.
Good study boots, warm, great in slippy wet mud.
Price is fantastic for what you get, I paid about 90 compared to the MSRP of 120.
Highly recommended.
Slightly heavier than my previous boots but that is probably because they are more substantial with thicker rubber. Fingers crossed they last longer as all my previous boots have leaked water within 12 months although never heavily used.
These are wonderfully warm and should be superb as winter approaches.
They feel worthy of the price.
I’m a groundworker so I need warm comfortable footwear well happy
I discovered them many years ago and I fell in love with these boots which are perfect when you need to take care of your horses at the country, when you have almost always mud around. You can walk without fearing to slip, and they are warm in winter and cool in summer (due to the neopren). I had already this Core 2 K model 2 times and actually the Chore high model which are not the same because the rubber does not go higher than the ankle and they worn quicker than these Chore 2 k which last 5 years for me (I wear them for an hour twice a day).
Because I’ve bought these in the summer, I have hardly used them, but they seem excellent, though because I have thin legs, they flap around my calves when I walk in them when I’m wearing shorts! The size is rather larger than my shoe size [size 8] but this will probably be fine when wearing a thicker pair of socks in the winter. I cannot rate their warmth at this time. I tried to correspond with the Muck Boot company three times about which product I should buy, but they didn’t respond via their own website for the first two times. I got a reply when I found them – much cheaper – on Amazon.
Best Wellington boots EVER. Nothing compares, fits and feels just like your most comfortable shoes. Can wear all day and walk 20 miles !!!
Nothing to dislike they are excellent, and sturdy. My husband uses them mostly for dog walking, car washing and helping in the garden. This is his second pair. (last pair lasted 4 years)!!
Bought as a gift and the recipient is super happy. Very comfortable and a great fit.
Fitted like a glove, however I did get a blister after two days, probably more to do with my foot shape and choice of socks than anything else!
These boots looked robust. They are quite a weight , which I expect they need to be to take heavy wear. Unfortunately I had to return them as they were too large. I have a very high instep and couldn’t get my feet into the smaller size , these were ok to get on but too big for my feet once They were on.
Great boots bought to replace my sons old ones!
Last for years. Stay looking good and always waterproof
I do have to wear a few pairs of socks to wear these snug but …. they are fabulous. Perfectly expensive wellies that hopefully will last years!
I,ve had these before , so bought them again. I live in my wellies in rural wales, and can wreck an ordinary pair in 6 months. These can last me 18mths to 2 years. Superb in winter, tough and warm. I use them on my quad , in forestry and rivers , they are just the best. Not the lightest, but solid and well made.
These are the best wellingtons I have ever worn. They are not cheap but I would highly recommend. Hopefully they stand up to the test of time.
Bought for husband for walking the dog, i already own a ladies pair and rave about how good they are. He’s converted and lives in them. Fantastic make
A high quality product, these are my third pair, that says it all.
These were for my husband and absolutely loves them …warm and waterproof.
Great boot . Second pair of muck boots . Last pair lasted 2 years
I’ve resisted buying ‘expensive’ willies for so long but after wearing these around our smallholding for three days I wish I’d splashed out sooner. they are so comfortable, I’ve had them on 3 days straight for 8 hours a day and have had no problems, but the biggest bonus is my feet have been not only dry but warm. I bought these as they are reinforced and we have a lot of rubbish to clear which has pierced the soles of my other boots (and my feet!) more than once during this project – I’ve not yet trodden on dangerous points with these but I feel confident they will protect me. the neoprene ‘sock’ at the top is brilliant, means they are so easy to get on and off and they fit round whatever I’m wearing to keep me dry and warm. really pleased with them.
Very comfortable boots and warm too. Sizing was correct. Recommended.
Had Muck boots before and always found them excellent, Water proof, warm and comfortable have tried other makes but went back to Muck Boots and always seem to last with me,Had the last pair 5 years before needing to be replaced.
Used for both gardening and dog waking.
Very nice, these are my favourite wellies of all time.
So many different boots, so many leaks and so many difficult to get on and off. I only want them for walking the dog so after many attempts I bought these and they are wonderful – a joy to wear!
Best wellies i ever had can wear them all day
Great boots will be telling my farm mates to get a pair .p.s good service from the seller .thanks .five stars
Excellent Boots. I normally hate Wellingtons but these are comfortable, warm and fit well. Tried out in the wood and my feet never got cold but I do wonder if they might be a bit warm in the summer on a long walk. (Maybe just wear a layer less). Really pleased with the purchase and how comfortable the boots are.
best wellies ave ever bought
cosy on the feet and fitted size 10 well
Terrific pair of work boots – broad fitting but a decent pair of socks resolves that. Can use them for digging or walking the dog, Warm and comfortable.
I’ve tried a lot of different makes of Wellington Boots over the years. A Farmer friend recommended that I try these and oh how right he was they are GREAT.
oo narrow, but otherwise ok. companies always think people have narrow feet, but a lot of people don’
Love Love Love these willies. extremely comfortable, would definitely recommend
This really is a five star product but it lost a star as the finish on the back of the boot was a bit sloppy. The fit as expected and once broken in are more flexible. If you are not used to them be careful driving in them.
Once you try them and realise how much support they provide you will never look back.
The higher rubber material makes the boot much better when walking through brambles
Great service – arrived very promptly. A little large and also the back seam on the neoprene rubbed.
Replacements for my husband’s previous pair, he lives in his wellies all weekend whilst doing jobs around the land. They are warm, comfortable and waterproof.
Well made and very good for long walks with dog. The boots are for my husband but I already have a pair which are ace too. I would tell anyone to get some they are the best !!!!
