Great device. We got this for our motorhome with a drop down screen over the window. We tend to watch tv at night but during day the brightness doesn’t stand up to the job. Shame the keystone adjustments don’t alter the pitch amd angle so it has to be level with the screen. The apps are annoying as it doesnt allow direct access to many services without finding work arounds. But the image at night and sound once you have found a way to cast to access your channels is good.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought the unit for entertainment in my van on cold/rainy days. Brightness is great for a dimly lit environment, but not sure it would hold up as well in brighter conditions. Super portable and easily stored in the associated carry case (bought separately). Sound quality is pretty good for such a small unit but lacks the bass punch of more higher end dedicated sound devices such as Sonos Roam or Move (I think you might be able to bluetooth connect to an external sound device, but i’ve not tried it myself). All in all a great little unit and highly recomended if you’re using for a similar purpose as myself.

Perfect for campervan or similar use

Great small projector with impressive sound.

My only gripe is that the room needs to be really dark for it to work effectively.

With regards complaints about Netflix not being fully compatible, I’ve plugged a firestick in and it’s much quicker than the built in OS generally and has a bigger App Library.

We ended up buying a tripod and having perfect fit blinds installed, our room is south facing and I didn’t realise how much of an impact the sun would have on the image.

Will definitely be taking this away on holiday with us when the time comes.

    Very impressive

This is a good little projector . couple of minor things , the volume control goes up and down in steps , not a gradual gradual volume control . Would have been nice to be able to adjust screen size from unit in certain situations . I personally use my Apple TV connected via HDMI , seem to get a better quality picture than using the built in android system, and get faster response times when loading apps .

I reviewed a few projectors before settling for this model. Small, strong, well built. Pretty simple to set up and the picture quality and sound are excellent. Like others have stated the only bugbear was not having iPlayer and ITV HUB apps compatible and one main reason I purchased was to watch in the garden for the football Euro 2020 finals. However I either mirrored my phone or connected a firestick and it was sorted.
I can’t fault the product love it and with the screen purchased also, the experience is brilliant.
We attached the projector to a camera tripod which makes a massive difference.
The attached video was recorded whilst using the projector in the garde

Super convenient and versatile, can use it for either projecting or speaker only. Completely worth it, highly recommend!! Only thing would be the Netflix app needing to be found a better match.

    Excitinggggg

Sound and picture quality is great. Recommend the gorilla pod for positioning etc otherwise this has been a total game changer for home movie nights. Netflix is a bit clunky on here otherwise other apps like Prime work well. I tend to store alot of files on my NAS and stream it using VLC which works a treat and when needed pen drives etc work fine as well, just download a file manager. Battery is good as well and if watching back to I just run an extension cable to it and plug it in.

I really like this item and it has more than exceeded my expectations, there are a few bugs regarding software that would be great if ironed out. It doesnt like being setup on a different wifi network which is a bit of a nightmare but it is still a great product.

The customer support is absolutely fantastic, my projector USB C port was broken and the whole projector was replaced within about 2 weeks from me reporting it to me having the new item in my possesion. Great Work Anker!!!!

This is an fabulous buy! Especially now that the cinemas are closed. We watch a movie every Friday evening. The picture is great, the sound really good and it s a very easy to use blue tooth projector. We have a white wall so no need to buy a screen but I suppose you ll need a big white screen, the size of your wall if you don t have a whitish wall

This is a very bright projector that gets even brighter when plugged into a power source. Remote works well. There are just four issues:
    1. Netflix app is not included, and can only be installed via the Netflix app on your phone. The app must then be controlled with your phone using the mouse mode, which is very laggy. If you’re a Netflix addict, you might want to plug a proper chromecast or firestick into the back, because those support Netflix out of the box, and is a much better experience.
    2. I was very excited to have internal bluetooth on this projector, however it only works with internal apps. The moment you plug in an HDMI source, it reverts to the inbuilt speaker. There is no way to change this as far as I can tell, so if you’re using that firestick or chromecast, you’ll need to use the aux port in the back of the projector to plug into external speakers.
    3. There is no upside-down picture mode, so if you were hoping to use a ceiling mounting bracket for it, you can just forget it. I had to make a special one out of plywood (pictured above).
    4. Despite the speaker mesh around the entire speaker, the speaker is only backwards firing, so if you want to project on the ceiling you need to prop it up somehow to make sure the speaker isn’t muffled.

I just want to say though, that apart from those four issues, this projector is fantastic. It’s the first projector I’ve had which has a speaker that is better than most inbuilt TV speakers. I’ve been watching more amazon prime videos on it to avoid the issues with Netflix, and that works very well. I’ve also plugged in a tiny USB stick with a microSD card full of videos to watch offline, and that works great too. Battery life is awesome, Gets a couple hours pretty easily off at full brightness, and being able to extend that with a USB C powerbank is a great touch. Super impressed, and for my needs, this projector has been worth every penny.

Awesome projector with four design flaws...

Good item I selected from reading various previous product reviews. The main flaw is Netflix and the challenge to get it working on the NC2. Whilst I have managed to download the app and signed into my Netflix account it still doesn’t work on this product. Why cant Anker just make it easy for everyone and include a “Installation for dummies guide to installing Netflix ” with this device!!!

There is nothing much to dislike about this product. The picture quality is very good. The brightness is fairly good but as always, works better in darker spaces. As you can see from my pictures it is in average daylight and still works quite well.
The sound from the 8 watt speaker works really well and gives surprisingly good bass an clarity.
Most of the time I have my Apple TV plugged in to this device and is a great replacement for my old Tv.
As far as small projectors go, this is quite expensive but, if you think about the price of a TV and the size of screen you get, it’s well worth the money.

    Expensive but well worth i

Was initially hesitant about spending what seemed like a lot on a portable projector but after a few days of use I can say I made the right decision.

Quality is excellent, and the portability essentially means you have the option of having a HD widescreen tv up to 120 inches in any room of your house.

As someone who regularly buys new tech and gagets I can say this is one of the best things I’ve bought in years, worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this to use as a second TV. I needed something that could easily put away.

I saw a few complains about missing apps like Netflix’s or Now TV. There are 2 simple solutions either add the Nebula app then download Nexflix from there or cast it from the app on your phone for nowTV, Netflix’s, Disney+, iPlayer, all4 etc.

Casting is easiest, for those of you who haven’t used Chromecast, open the app on your phone, hit the Chromecast button and select you projector then hit play on the thing you want to watch on the app.

Brightness on battery can be an issue in a brighter room but if you can block out most light of change the setting in the projector. When on mains power it’s fine.

I have bought a cheap adjustable stand for 12 from eBay that allows for angle adjustment and a 72″ Screen that complete the set.

Sound is surprisingly good. Connect to Bluetooth for sound for headphones or soundbar.

Battery normally will last you for the length of a longer film unless you up the brightness.

    Fantastic little projecto

Nebula Capsule II is truly a purchase am super proud of! It’s one of those products which checks all the boxes for me. Its practically replaced my TV! Also, super handy to carry around on your trips!
    Super portability: Check!
Clear and high quality picture: Check!
    AMAZING AMAZING sound: CHECK!
    Wireless: Check!
    USB-C charging: Check!
Auto-Focus: Check! Works like a charm!
    Android TV in built: Check!
    Chromecast: Check!
Google Assistant built in: Check! Voice commands make life so simple.

Only two things which I think should be better:
    1) The remote: Its awesome while it works but more often than not its sluggish and won’t work.
    2) I would have loved to have a protective cover provided as standard by Nebula.

What can I say….so impressed with this little gem! Great picture quality. Easy to install and connects easily to a hotspot if you have no WiFi. Net flicks runs smooth through the manager! The sound is quite loud but I will probably buy a sound bar for clarity. All in all Best Buy this year!!!! Go for i

Do you know the feeling of waying up different products? Do you spend hours pouring over reviews and youtube to make your final decision? This was one of those products for me. We spent more than we originally planned on this projector but in truth, it’s worth every penny. It’s one of those products you just love using.

    PROS
    – Ease of setup, I think we were streaming content to it within 2 minutes of first turning it on. The android setup wizard copy’s the WIFI details from your phone, so no time-consuming typing
    – Picture quality even when blown up is amazing. We’ve projected onto walls, ceilings, the underside of the stairs, wardrobes, campervans, it always looks good
    – Its ability to project in a lit room is surprisingly good.
    – It’s tiny
    – The sound quality is impressive

    CONS
    – Although the projector will work in a lit room, it will struggle in lots of natural light. This is widely documented but should be mentioned.

If you want a portable projector, and you can afford it, this is the one!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI don’t normally write a review but just wanted to leave some comments for anyone debating whether or not to get this product.

First off I was initially reluctant to purchase such an expensive mini projector especially after reading some of the older reviews. I was especially concerned by the availability of major apps (Netflix, Prime, Disney+) on the Android TV operating system.

However I figured a lot of things may have improved since the original reviews and thankfully I was right. YouTube, Prime video and Disney+ all have native Android TV apps that can be downloaded from the Play Store (Disney+ appeared after updating the latest version of Android TV). Although Netflix wasn’t available straight from the Play Store you can download it straight from the Nebula Manager app – it was very easy and quick to do.

By having Nebula Manager as a ‘Home Screen Channel’ I have direct shortcuts to Netflix, Prime and Disney+ all from the home screen.

Although I don’t really use them there is also native Android TV versions of ITV Hub and My5 available for download from the Play Store – however iPlayer, All4 and NowTV are not yet available but I suspect they will eventually launch on this platform too.

Now that my major concern is no longer a problem I will say that this mini projector is fantastic. The picture is clear and the colours are vivid, the speaker is loud and clear and there are plenty of features.

The battery lasts approx. 1.5-2 hours on ‘Standard’ mode which is the brightest setting but 2-3 hours on ‘battery’ mode which dims the brightness.

The best thing about this projector is that it can charge using USB-C – therefore if you want to run it for a long time on ‘Standard’ mode you can either plug it in to the supplied Power Delivery plug or even plug it into a USB battery pack if you want to remain wireless.

For brightness ‘Battery’ mode is sufficient for a dark room however ‘Standard’ mode is required in a room with more light. Due to its size and therefore limitations this will not work clearly in a bright environment – to watch during the day you would need to close the curtains and ensure it is on ‘Standard’ mode. For me this is an acceptable concession when considering how small the device is.

One final point is that the device does have an audible fan – it seems to be louder at first and then quietens down after a short while. However after a few minutes of watching something you forgot it’s actually running – especially with the speaker being so loud and clear.

Overall I’m very impressed and satisfied with the product – it is expensive but you’re getting a lot in a very small product.

    Pros:
    – Excellent image quality and vivid colours
    – Loud and clear speaker – excellent for voice in movies & TV shows
    – USB-C charging capabilities
    – Chromecast/AirPlay capable
    – Auto focus and auto vertical keystone correction
    – Plenty of control options – Bluetooth remote included / Google Assistant / Nebula Smart Phone App (Touchpad, Keyboard & Cursor support within App)

    Cons:
    – You may have to wait for a specific app to have an Android TV version released although most major ones are now available
    – Not usable in a bright environment
    – No horizontal keystone correctio

This is a good projector for watching movies and TV shows. The missing Netflix is annoying though. Gaming is my favourite part of this projector at 60Hz with minimal input latency (I can’t tell the difference between my gaming monitor and this) so it has been great for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the short battery life, which is for me much less than the specified 2.5 hours.
Other than that, the projector is great for its size, with a speaker which surprised me with its good sound quality.
There are not many small projectors at the moment which are native 720p like this one, and this seems to be the best one on the market.

Absolutely awesome for its size. The quality is very good with auto focus so you don’t have to mess around with it, the sound from it is also really good can be used as portable speaker.
