Been using it for the past 6 months. It does it all. Name it you have it. Plenty of options to really tailor and customise your coffee the way you want i

I’ve previously owned another early model Nespresso machine and fallen out of love with it. It didn’t really make coffee that tasted great so I was sceptical about buying this one and was considering a bean to cup machine. However I have to say that I’m very impressed and it has exceeded my expectations both in terms of taste and function and the milk steamer really helps make a difference if you like trying your hand at coffee art! It’s super convenient especially if you drink both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee and has been easy to clean when needed.

I deliberated whether to buy this (because of the pods) or the Sage espresso manual machine. I’m sure both equally good but this really does make great coffee quickly and easily. So easy to clean. Really happy with it.

I left it a few months to make comment. I’d say this is the best coffee machine I’ve ever purchased!
The design is beautiful and functional. I always disliked the milk containers of previous machines, having to fill to a minimum and then store the excess in the fridge etc. With the wand and jug you can simply make and froth only the amount of milk you need at any one time. Then simply rinse the small jug for next use.
The amount of settings allows you to have the perfect coffee – blend, temperature and milk combo/froth – every time and is extremely easy to set or override.
It needs minimal daily cleaning, both tray and wand takes less than a minute to clean. Descaling is very simple and there is a step by step guide on the machines display to assist.

Have had previous Nespresso machines but this is tops. So easy to use and the integrated milk frothier that self cleans is fantastic. Absolutely love this machine. It is pricey but there are usually offers to be had so keep an eye out.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAmazing machine, obviously a bit pricey but does everything you need!! the milk frother has a self cleaning function after every use which is good. You can choose how much coffee you want from the shot (my old machine only gave you a dribble). This machine lets you choose the temperature of your coffee and milk, which gives you a warmer drink for longer, my current machine coffee goes cold quickly after pouring.
Overall 10/10 machine, money well spent.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersIf you’re looking for a coffee machine that makes great coffee that you can replicate every time then look no further.

I am a coffee lover but have struggled for years trying to get the perfect coffee at home, trying to be a home barista with an espresso machine is a nightmare – coffee everywhere, inconsistent milk frothing, inconsistent pulling of shots and lots of mess to clean up afterwards. In the end I reverted back to the kettle and my espresso machine has sat dormant for time.

After reading revies after review of different coffee machines I decided to go with the Nespresso Creatista – never used nespresso pods before but from reading reviews they seemed great. I wasn’t dissapointed. Firstly the machine is beautiful and top quality. Finished in stainless steel it oozes style and class and looks great on the kitchen worktop.

Out of the box it was simple to set up and one switched on heats up in only 3 seconds! There’s so many nespresso pods on the market you’ve got loads to choose from, I’m still working my way through the many different types – at the moment I particularly like the L’Or Onyx pods which are a 12 strength and a very nice blend.

This machine produces coffee shop quality coffee at home – the milk is amazing, I used to drink lattes but after getting this machine now drink a flat white. The milk is dense and amazing. You can choose the heat of the milk, the amount of milk you want and how you want it frothed – you put the milk in the jug and let the machine do its work. No wobbling a jug about trying to warm the milk and get the right consistency – the machine does all the work you just watch in amazement as it produces quality milk time after time.

Espressos are simple and easy to make, once you’ve finished the pods go into a little bin and takes approx 15 pods to fill it before it needs emptying. The milk wand purges itself after every use so the only thing you need to do is wipe it down and remove the milk before it does that. The drip tray is easy to remove and easy to clean as is the water tank.

The display on the unit is easy to read and navigate using the turn dial and setting up your drink preferences is simple to do.

All in all couldn’t recommend a better machine. It’s simple and easy to use, makes fantastic coffee, has the ability to customise your drinks and has basically zero maintenance. If you’re wondering whether to buy this I’d say yes don’t hesitate. It’s helped me fall in love with coffee once more and everyday I’m excited to try a different coffee type and see what this machine is capable of.

If you love coffee this is for you!

Have had this nespresso machine for a few days and I love it.
Was unsure if I wanted a pod machine or a “bean to cup”. Readung through hundreds of reviews everywhere I looked, I am so pleased I got this one as I can make any coffee I fancy and without having too much to clean after. And the best thing is that you get great tasting coffee every time.
Subscribing to nespresso is easy and I love the fact that they will fully recycle the pods. Simply add the free recycling bags to your order and when they deliver your next batch of coffee pods they will take the bag for recycling .
I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a great coffee machine with little or no hassle this Sage coffee machine is a must.
    Highly recommend it.

This is a brilliant Machine, I have had 5 Nespresso machines and this is by far the best. Loe the personalisation of strength, water, milk, temp etc. The coffee is hot as well as is the milk frother.

I use at least 10 times a day, quick, easy to clean and comes with a little stainless steel jug and some capsules.

    Love i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had the Sage Creatista Plus for three months now and loving it. I’ve tried a range of the Nespresso original coffees as well as those from other providers and not been disappointed with any but I think I’m more impressed with the Nespresso original and L’Or coffees. Out of the box the machine looks great and makes great coffee. It’s quick and simple to use and very easy to adjust the coffee to you preference in terms of volume and temperature, both of which I’ve turned up a bit to match my preference. It is very quick to heat up and provide a great range of drinks. The milk heating and frothing is spot on and so simple to use I found the out of the box setting OK if you wanted to drink your coffee right away but it left me wanting another in terms of volume. I’ve been a coffee pod user for a good number of years now, I have the Dolce Gusto both at home and in the office at work and that’s great still for a drink and filling my travel mug. But for enjoying a good cappuccino or nice lungo at home it’s got to be the Creatista, so much so that the Dolce Gusto is now only used for the travel mug and the kettle is now a redundant piece of kitchen equipment. The build quality of the machine is very good, as I’ve found with the other Sage products I own. It’s not had light use over the three months, it’s processed neary 300 pods since I’ve had it and there are no signs that it will have any problems carrying on. It’s not a silent machine, the pump and steam wand do make a noise but nothing excessive considering it’s a pump sat on a wooden surface. On the whole, a great piece of kit and worth every penny.

Before I owned The profitec 500 It was excellent but takes a lot of time to get a cup of coffee

But with this machine I can make my coffee within two minutes of steaming the milk in a professional way like profitec

P.S The taste of the capsules is completely different from the fresh coffee beans, but it is acceptable

The most beautiful Nespresso machine out there, with the ability to create your own Latte Art as the Micky steamer is fully customisable. So far I haven’t reproduced the heart or ferns leaves you get in a coffee shop but can consistently make a slodge shape.

Love the machine, Love the coffee (buy good capsules) and in time in pays for its self as it Works out at 90% less than your average coffee price.

Only a one star for blending and versatility because it doesn’t blend and can only be used with nespresso capsules so not really relevant.
On the plus side – Quick warm up. Froths milk really well and you can control the frothiness and temperature. The controls are easy to understand and it takes you through the cleaning process step by step. No need to have manual on standby.
Love it and wished I’d bought it sooner. Only regret is now available through nespresso subscription, machine for a 1

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis machine is amazing. It has a load of modes and makes just about every type of coffee which will suit a variety of coffee lovers tastes.

A key feature I love is the self clean milk froth nozzle, which jets water through the pipe to remove traces of milk rotting inside.

The only one niggle I have with it, is the twister toggle to select coffee seems to swipe in the opposite direction to what you’d expect. It takes a bit of getting used to.

    Amazing coffee every time

Bought this for my boyfriend as I don’t drink coffee. He loves the versatility however tells me that it is difficult to get a full mug of coffee. Machine tends to produce around half a cup – unless it’s just that we haven’t got the hang of it yet! He does however use this every day so definitely getting money’s worth

After a couple of months of solid use, I have to say that this is very impressive.
I have had nespresso machines in the past, mostly Kitchen Aid machines, but after faulty buttons and leaks over the worktop, I decided to take the plunge and spend a little more this time.
Firstly, the machine looks incredible, and it feels like a solidly made piece of equipment with a comforting weight to it.
As far a making coffee goes, it heRs up very quickly, around 3 seconds, and a good quality pod will be poured with a good crema.
Using the settings on the screen provides the correct amount of coffee through the pod and the programmes for the types of coffee allow you to match the right milk setting needed depending on whether you want a Flat White, Latte, Latte Machiato or Cappuccino.
Secondly, the milk produced is the best I managed at home. The steam wand works incredibly well providing the right amount of heat in the milk, and the right amount of foam. I’m no Barrista, but there are plenty of videos on line showing how you can produce Latte art on your coffee at home using this machine.
Its is brushed stainless steel, so it will show finger marks and splashes, but I clean the machine each evening so it looks as good as new wack morning and it does not take long.
It will tell you when it is time to clean the steam wand which will depend on how much you use it, but making about 5 or 6 cups a day, it works out to be every week that I need to clean it. It walks you through the process and it is easy to do. To get the milk foam right, you do need to do this, but it’s really worth it.
Overall, I wish I bought this machine before. There is a new version available with a colour touch screen. But the difference in price is not worth it.
If you love coffee, this makes coffee at home to a similar standard you would get at a coffee shop, si it’s worth the treat at home.
Make sure you get the cups etc that make every homemade coffee feel like you’re having a treat!!

Great bit of kitchen kit for coffee lovers that want a machine that makes achieving great coffee easy. Makes great coffee just like you can buy from the chains and with the pod recycling system it’s ticks the green box too. The automatic cleaning settings are easy to follow and it’s easy to clean the drip trays.

Its curbed my take out coffee addiction and since using this machine i have not needed sugar in my coffee as this brews and creates a smoother coffee.

    Recommend anyone to buy this.

I have had the Sage coffee maker for about four weeks and am very pleased with the quality of the coffee produced, the variety of options, as well as the ease of use and cleaning. My one niggle is that the minimum milk requirement is more than I need for a single cup. No adjustment is possible because the jug must keep contact with the sensor and the depth of milk in the jug must accommodate the length of the wand. Apart from that, it’s an excellent product.

I found it a little fiddly at first and had to keep referring to the user manual to make the coffee as it has a lot of options, but after a few tries I knew what to do. It’s very versatile, the coffee and milk temperature is always perfect and it’s a great looking machine. Really easy to clean which is an absolute must for me. I love this coffee maker.

Great product, top quality and great range of hot drinks. Other reviews regarding the heat setting seem strange, the higher settings are extremely hot. We also purchased 3 months before the onset of the pandemic (Dec-19) for GBP249, bargain compared to what it is now given elevated demand.

Got this to replace a Tassimo machine – always felt the coffee had a funny taste (probably due to the milk pods) so I wanted a machine that would heat fresh milk. Decided on the Nespresso Creatista Plus by Sage and I have not been disappointed – easy to use and the coffee tastes great (as good as in a coffee shop). You can vary the milk temperature and amount of foam. Still experimenting with the pods. The machine came with a selection pack and I also got 100 more free as part of a promotion. Machine is easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much room on the worktop.

So far it’s the best Nespresso machine by far (and I’ve owned some expensive ones) – although there is a lot of tech so we’ll have to see how reliable it turns out to be.

Coffee control is very good (albeit typical Nespresso) and you can choose between ristretto, espresso and lungo measures – plus you can adjust the volume to suit your taste.

However, it’s the milk steam wand that really shines, with settings for every milky drink imaginable. It automatically textures your milk perfectly – just pour milk into the supplied jug, put it under the wand and press a button. Seconds later you’re presented with steamed and textured milk ready to complete the beverage of your choice. Awesome!

In summary, I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase.

Great Coffee machine. I’m very new to coffee and tend to order milky coffee drinks when out and about. Having looked across the range only this machine seemed to give me the options I wanted.

It is an expensive machine but it does produce good drinks repeatedly.

The machine is easy to set up but only supply’s one strip. Once the initial set up and clean is complete I was marking great coffee straight away.

Nespresso produce a wide range of pods and supply a sample in the box, mix this with the other brands of compatible pods and there are drinks for everyone.

So far I’m really impressed with the machine and it gets used regularly.

Pros: Great coffee, easy to operate/maintain, good selection, Fast.

Cons: it’s quite expensive, if you want a specific colour although the silver is usually cheaper (still expensive though)

We love our cappuccinos and lattes, and were very pleased with our Lattissima Touch – a great Nespresso machine with a very convenient milk carafe system. The most important thing for us is ease of cleaning, and that machine was easy to use and clean. For Christmas, we decided to take advantage of a Daily Deal and buy the Sage Creatista Plus at a great price. The reason was that the Sage had great reviews for its milk frothing abilities, and it was also supposed to be easy to clean. Well, we can confirm that the Sage produces slightly better tasting coffee, and a lot nicer milk. For lattes and flat whites, the foam structure is tight and creamy, while cappuccinos have more froth, and macchiatos the most. Finally, the final result is hotter. There are loads of options to customise milk temperature, froth level and coffee volume, all displayed on an easy to use LCD display. We love it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI owned a little Dolce Gusto Jovia for a couple of years and was really happy with it. Cheap and cheerful and pretty decent coffee. I decided though it was time to upgrade and started to look at bean to cup machines. So many to choose from ranging from reasonably cheap to very expensive. Read review after review but couldn’t decide. Then realised that bean to cup machines are a bit more time consuming and messy. So had a rethink about what exactly I needed. I came to the conclusion that I like milky frothy coffee only. Coffee taste wasn’t a main priority for me. I can’t really tell the difference in a lot of coffees. So I needed a machine that delivered hot frothy milk coffee. Was pointed in the direction of this Sage machine. Lots of good reviews and the machine is able to do Flat Whites, Lattes and capuchinos. So I bought it and can only say that it’s an absolutely brilliant little machine. Plenty of settings to get the blend that suits you. You can adjust amounts of coffee, milk texture and froth. I absolutely love the flat white. Self cleans the milk wand after every use. This is the machine you need to buy. It’s brillia

This may be the very best thing I have bought in ages. It’s so easy to use and clean in fact it pretty much does that itself. There are instructions in the display panel and adjusting froth and coffee level a child could do. Had a couple of different machines in the past but this is my favourite. I love the chrome design and it is a bit slimmer than others so takes less room on worktop. If you are thinking about getting one just do it.

Having been in search of a coffee machine that makes a latte comparable to one from a coffee shop, I have (at long last) found it! This is the fifth machine I have bought, the last one being the Nespresso latissima by Delonghi which was ok but still not what I was looking for. My first impression of the Creatista plus was that it looked the part- very polished and well made. Using it is a breeze, with easy to follow instructions and an intuitive design. The various settings for coffee, milk temperature and froth ensure that you should be able to find the combination that best suits your taste. Without doubt, this is the best coffee I have been able to make myself and is, in my opinion, as good as a coffee bought from a coffee shop (and better than some I have had, too). I wholeheartedly recommend the Creatista plus. A great coffee machine at a great price. Absolutely love it!

I have always said that I wouldn’t want a pod machine, not trusting that I could have the same amount of choice as a bean to cup machine.
After listening to my brother wax lyrical about this machine I decided to give myself a pre-Christmas treat and am delighted that I did!
I already have a built-in AEG bean to cup machine which does generally produce good coffee, but without the versatility of the sage and with more messing and cleaning.
I had a house full of family guests staying over the Christmas period and this machine was a God-send. I showed everyone how to use it (very simple) so they could all help themselves. Even my son-in-law who doesn’t drink coffee (strange, I agree!), but does love a gadget was producing coffee shop standard flat whites complete with heart decorations! On a regular basis.
I have positioned mine between the sink and the fridge. It takes up a pleasingly small amount of worktop space, leaving plenty of room for a bottle of Jamesons so a nice Irish coffee is a doddle!
My brother also recommended the fine coffee company pods, which I have found to be excellent and great value.
I haven’t bought Sage products before but would certainly check them out if looking for other kitchen equipment.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this machine Black Friday 2019 for 250. I Managed to sell my old Nespresso Citiz machine to offset the cost. Even better bargain coming with x10 sleeves of coffee and 25 towards their subscription service. The 25 subscription signs you up to monthly coffee but the first month is free (25) as well as the 6th month (25). I did however simply order 25 of free coffee and immediately cancel so I ended up with around x20 sleeves of coffee with the purchase of the machine or 200 capsules. A good start.

The machine in a stainless steel finish looks great in the kitchen. Whilst not touch screen it does have a digital screen display which is easy to navigate. All the major coffees (including flat white) are available to choose with preset recommendations of coffee size, temperature, frothiness of the milk. These can be adjusted and it does save you amendments.

I bought this as it is much easier to make multiple coffees without the Aerochino. The way the machine auto-froths the milk is much more akin to a store bought coffee. Quite a bit more expensive for that sake but well worth the money.

I would definitely recommend the machine.

OK. So this is an expensive coffee machine – there’s just no arguing it. By my gosh if it isn’t the easiest coffee machine I’ve ever used, and the quality of it is absolutely superb. Designed to accept Nespresso capsules (and of course the absolute myriad of compatible capsules that are out there), this machine really helps make coffee shop quality at home without any of the hassle. Fill the jug with milk, and put the wand in. Pop your mug on the rack, choose the type of coffee you want, and pretty much just hit go. The coffee quality is wonderful, and the milk is steamed to perfection, with all of the froth you’d want on your latte. And goodness only knows how many different combinations you could put together. I am absolutely in love with this machine, and cannot recommend it enough if you enjoy Latte’s, Cappucino’s and the like. If, however, you really just want the Espresso – there are MUCH cheaper machines out there that will do just as good a job for you.

Upgraded to this from a basic machine and oh wow, it’s SO much better. To be fair it’s probably just the milk that makes the biggest difference but this is way better than the aeroccino at ‘frothing’ and heating the milk, also easier to clean a jug than the aero. You can increase the heat and volume of the coffee too which is amazing. I thought my little Krups machine was good until I had this. Full marks, really taste like barista coffees, love i

This machine is the bees knees….. Every coffee is exactly the same as the last (providing you use the same pods). In other words, one Latte is the same as the next. One cappuccino is the same as the next, etc. etc…… The consistency of each of the same coffee is exactly the same as the last (providing you want the same , that is) Ok, this machine may seem a little pricey, but I can tell you..it’s worth every penny. You will NOT be disappointed. You will, as I do… Love it. You will NOT look back. And the only machine you’ll ever need to make weak, strong, medium, black, white, frothy…. etc. coffee to a top resturant’s standard. Plus the fact that it’s pure gorgeous and simple to operate. Enjoy

Nespresso is a great brand and this machine enhances it. It is stylish, quality, robust plus incredibly quick in heating and dispensing giving a great crema. I had been looking at spending the money on this for for the past 9 months, now I’m wondering why I delayed…the price is justified

You definitely get what you’ve paid for. The milk frother elevates this product as the machine produces a variety of drinks that match if not better the quality of the big coffee shops. It’s the perfect machine to wake up to in the morning and come home to after a long day at work. I’ve become my on barista and I love it!

This is a beautiful-looking machine and makes me happy every time I go into the kitchen – I am so pleased I decided to treat myself. The coffee is consistently delicious and the machine works brilliantly, the milk steamer is a great bonus. I had a much smaller Nespresso machine previously, without a a milk steamer, and it was a bit glitchy-y. This machine lets you know if there isn’t enough water and even when it needs a clean. It is a luxurious bit of kit and I have saved a fortune because I just don’t need to buy coffees on the High Street.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI love everything about this coffee machine and my husband says it is one of the most well thought out products he has ever used.

    Pros
It has a larger than most tank for the water.
    Easy to read display.
    Temperature guage for the milk.
Drip tray used pod tray and water tank easy to remove, clean and repalce.
Pin to use when steam wand gets blocked.
Coffe produced from the pods is excellent.

    Cons
When the steam wand gets blocked (our son wasn’t cleaning it after use) we struggled to clean it because it was saying purge (clean) but when we used the steam purge off the menu is still told us it need cleaning it wasn’t untill we realised that we need to press the silver knob on the maintenace screen that we managed to clean it properly so therefore it wasmainly user error. Since then we haven’t had to go through that process againand the machine is used at least a dozen times a day.

Delivered on time, packaged well and as described.

I own 3 Nespresso machines, this one is the latest one (also own a U – my old main one, and assenza mini – my travel one) this machine ropes them both, coffee comes out amazing, the frothy milk made to perfection, much better then the airochinos (I own 3+4) and it is VERY easy to use after you adjust it to your taste and learn it a bit, for technophobes it might take some time.

Also, the coffee at the first few days tasted a tad bland.. it take some time for the machine to start brewing well or maybe it’s just the adjustments I made with the programs.. either way, after the first few days coffee is better then in an artisan coffee shop.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis machine replaced my 7 year old Delonghi esam4200 which served me well but it was time for a change. I had always dismissed “pod machines” as I believed that they couldn’t possibly match the taste of bean to cup. One day I was passing the Glasgow Nespresso boutique and was offered a demonstration of this machine. I was blown away with it’s ease of use and with the quality of the coffee. Yes, the machine is expensive, even if bought from Amazon, but in my opinion it is worth every penny. Consistent quality coffee in a fraction of the time. Just be prepared for the ongoing cost as you work your way through the range of pods as you find your favourites. I have tried most 3rd party ones and, with the exception of Cafe Nero I have not been impressed. Having tried most official pods my current fav’s are Arpeggio, Dharkan and Envivo Lungo though I haven’t had any I don’t like, except Ciocattino which is not to my taste.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this machine, it’s incredibly easy to use with step by step directions on the control panel. I can’t drink dairy so use soya milk or coconut milk and this steams the milk perfectly. It is expensive but this is the cheapest I could find it anywhere. I had one of the cheaper machines and this is streets ahead. It looks great on the countertop too and is very easy to clean. I looked at many other machines and this was one of the few with a steam wand as I didn’t want to have to be constantly cleaning any milk containers. This also heats up in a couple of seconds which is great when you’re in a rush. The only downside is that some of the removable parts can’t go in the dishwasher, which isn’t a big deal.

Makes amazing coffee however feel a bit let down with the sellers help with issues. Had it a couple weeks and the milk frothier (even though cleaned daily) seems to clog quite easily. We have to soak the end in hot water or it doesn’t make the milk properly. I contacted Amazon but they directed my straight to nepresso, trying to get through to them was extremely difficult.

UPDATE- Amazon sent a replacement, had it for 3 years, works amazing

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHands down the best nespresso machine out there. Everything about this machine is superior. The coffee. The milk. The build.

The design of the machine is retro modern with stainless steel finish. It looks expensive and is easy to wipe down. It’s small and compact perfect for any size kitchen and I love keeping it out and showing it off

The machine is easy to use. Designed for minimal mess but doesn’t sacrifice on quality or control.

Nespresso pods have some many options can can be recycled with bag from Starbucks or you can buy your own reusable pod for your own Coffee and blends

It’s so simple to clean and it steam purges every time you use it. It lets you know when you need to add the cleaning fluid that descales the machine and clean it through throughly. It’s not every 10 cups that I have seen questions about. I make a point of cleaning it every week, it only takes 5 minutes.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThis is my third Nespresso machine, the first bought in 2000. My first machine became ‘not repairable’ after 12 years – I got a discount off the second machine which is still going but I decided I wanted an upgrade plus the Le Cube was a bit too wide for the space available. I love my Nespresso Creatista Plus by Sage, Brushed Stainless Steel machine. I bought this in December 2018, so have enough experience to write a review. The machine produces great coffee, just as good as the previous machines. The steamer funtion produces better foam than the Aeroccino did. There two main areas that make this machine standout. The preprogrammed settings for coffee drink types and the housekeeping functions built in. The water doesn’t run out – you are told to refill before the tank runs dry. The steamer wand self-cleans after each use and tells you when to manually clean the tip of the wand. And the machine tells you when it needs descalling. So, the machine ensures that it is always in tip-top condition. Love it.

This was a bit of a random purchase for me but so glad I did it. I checked out the reviews before I did but am really surprised just how good it is. It is so so easy to use, and the automatic milk frother is a masterpiece!! First time I’ve seen a coffee machine being able to do a flat white at the touch of a button or two. The coffee is superior to most coffee shops. Definitely get the stainless steel version – it is quicker than the other colours and has more features for some
reason. My partner now has coffee machine envy!!

This is my third Nespresso machine (1st was a Citiz, 2nd a Lattissima Pro) and I’m fortunate that each one has been better than its predecessor. I’m not going to argue that the flavour coming out of a pod is going to vary across the Nespresso machine range, but the features offered by each machine vary enormously.

    The Creatista’s positives are:

o Is very easy to adjust coffee volume
o Is very easy to adjust milk froth type
o Is the best Nespresso milk frother I’ve used to date (far better than the Aeroccino and Lattissima Pro’s)
o The colour display screen is small, but large enough, even for someone with poor eyesight

    Three final thoughts:

o The Stainless Steel version has a 3-second start time, the other colours seem to have a 10-second start for some reason???
o The rotary control knob used to select coffee types (Ristretto, Espresso etc) works backwards, at least to me. So you rotate right and the options displayed on the selection screen shift left; the reverse is true. Certainly far from a deal breaker, but it doesn’t seem naturally intuitive to me.
o The only option I miss from the Lattissima Pro is the individual button for each coffee type (Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, Latte, Cappuccino). I.e you just make your choice. Press. Done. On the Creatista you have to use the rotary knob to scroll through them in turn and then click to select. To be fair I was fully aware of this prior to purchase, and again it’s not a deal breaker, but worth noting if you constantly change coffee type.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter purchasing a Sage machine previously and not being able to froth the milk I was very dubious about purchasing this. I asked a question which a number of people very kindly answered and decided to go ahead. I am definitely not disappointed. It does what it says on the tin and is really easy to use. As strong or as weak as you want your coffee and as flat or as frothy as you like and as hot as you like which was a must for me and the reason I sold my last Nespresso machine. It gives ideal settings but you can alter them. So much easier than my last Sage machine and so much better than my last nespresso machine. I can feel a LOT of coffees coming on 🙂 🙂

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMakes amazing coffee, to your specification. The steam wand makes it easy to make perfect foamy milk at the right temperature, which I enjoy in my coffee as well as use for hot chocolate!
My tap water is very hard so it needs descaling quicker than if it was softer or if I filtered it, but the machine walks you through descaling step by step!
I use whole (Lactofree) milk and find I am fairly often having to unblock the wand tip with the provided tool, but even that is really easy and it happens less if you ensure you let the wand expell water once you’ve removed it from the milk, then wipe it with a wet jay cloth then manually tell it to rinse the steam wand again.
All in all I love it!

Can’t rate this machine enough. It’s amazing! Great for making your favourite drink in the morning and saving me a lot as I don’t have the urge to grab a well known branded coffee in the morning! If you live in a hard water area I’d recommend using filtered water. We didn’t to start with and after some time the steam wand would get clogged up often. Descaled it and started using filtered water and it’s like a whole different machine.

The price may put some off, but if you enjoy your coffee this is a worthy addition. Substantially better than ‘instant’ alternatives and equivalent to the better coffee shops (sans the experience). Iincludes a variety of drink types (latte, flat white etc…) with easy to follow on-screen instructions. Looks good and adds a nice ‘feature’ to the kitchen. Easy to clean and maintain.

This is not a cheap machine, infact it’s fair to say it’s an expensive machine! BUT… It really is very good. A considered purchase yes but based upon my own experience, I don’t think you’d have any buyers regret.

A lot obviously depends on the capsules you use for taste etc, but I’ve found the Nespresso ones to be very good. The stronger flavoured ones especially make great flat whites, lattes etc.

The led display is clear and easy to use there are lots of settings to alter the milk froth and coffee amount.

Overkill if you want an espresso in the mornings but if you like milky coffee, bar star bucks or cafe Nero or a 1000 bean to cup maxhine, this is a serious good option.

I am not a fan on the Nespresso aerochino, its the main reason i put off getting a Nespresso machine for so long, the wand on this has changed that, i downsized from a semi comercial machine to save size and the drinks are still 90% of the quality i used to get for a machine 1/3 of the size and 1/4 of the cost.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersFirst of all I need to say what a wonderful versatile nespresso machine this really is.
I was initially browsing for a bean to cup style machine however after having a demonstration of this machine I was sold instantly.
My drink of choice is flat white – typically a mystery to many coffee machines on the market but not to this machine from Sage.
One of the many benefits this machine offers is the milk wand allows you to fully customise the texture of the milk.
It’s important to highlight that this feature is a first from Nespresso. Yes, many other variants of machines may feature an ‘aerochinno’ that can froth milk but this is the main difference – froth is not the same as texture!
The Sage Creatista allows you to customise the texture of the milk so for a flat white I can select a more microfoam consistency and for a cappucino I can let the machine go wild and have big frothy bubbles.

Cleaning seems straight forward – the steam wand purges automatically after each use and you need to give it a deeper clean once a month.

I love that the machine is ready to go in 3 seconds and it’s fuss free. Previously I had expensive Gaggia burr grinders and Coffee Machines, grinding my own beans and experimenting with different coffees and milk. However the novelty wore off and I found myself reaching for the kettle to make a cup of instant because of the fuss, mess and time involved to make a good coffee.
Now with this Creatista machine I drop a pod in, fill the jug with milk and it does everything for me in seconds. I’d argue the coffee flavour is better than my old equipment and on a par with that from various high st coffee outlets.

I paid 279 for this machine which was a fantastic price and we have fallen in love with coffee again.

Quick, fuss free, coffee shop quality coffee.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is a well made attractive machine. I particularly like the large water tank as I don’t keep the machine in the kitchen.

The most useful piece of advice I can give anyone using this type of machine is to run off a little hot water before making your coffee the difference in drink temperature is well worth it.
Most drinks are pre-programmed, this can be adapted to your requirements (I’ve not done this yet) personally I don’t really want to froth the milk myself I have done it but like the easy life of the programmed settings.
As all Nespresso machines work the same realistically the coffee will be the same whatever machine you use.
So it’s really down to if you like milky drinks . I like hot chocolate wile this isn’t a preprogrammed drink the steam wand does a good job without me standing over it.
If your not drinking lattes and cappuccinos you don’t need this machine if you are I’d recommend it the milk is very different from a separate frothe

I last had a Nespresso machine 5 years ago before switching to a bean to cup machine. Unfortunately, beans go bad too quickly so decided to switch back. Chose this machine as I love a latte and properly steamed milk is a must to me. Control and adjustability is just right and makes it simple to make all types of milk drinks. The machine is beautifully styled and made with very high quality materials that will grace any kitchen.

The only slight niggle I had was the select dial is a bit too smooth and does not offer any grip. But that is quickly solved with a quick design and print of a sleeve grip which now makes for much better use.

Golden Review Award: 199 From Our UsersI don’t normally wax lyrical about a product, I expect anything I buy to work as described. However I am more than pleased with this machine.

I have had three Nespresso machines so far. I started with the excellent Siemens TK70, which I only replaced because I wanted more flexibility with the types of coffee I could make with one button press. I then went to the disastrous De Longhi Lattissima Pro, which never produced three cups of coffee in a row with the same quantities of coffee and/or milk.

So it was with delight that I am now the owner of this Sage machine. It is consistent in quantity delivery and very flexible in what it can be programmed to do. I particularly like the ability to change the quantities and temperature of milk and quantity of coffee on the fly, without having to go into the settings to program it. So if I have a particularly strong coffee I can press the selection button and adjust the quantity of coffee upwards. The next time I make a coffee with a weaker blend I can quickly move it down again.

But most pleasing of all is that I have now been able to go back to frothing the milk myself. Years ago I had a good quality old-fashioned cappuccino machine that had a steam wand, and although it made perfect cappuccino, I became fed up with the cleaning effort after every use. It was for this reason that I went to Nespresso (even though the coffee really isn’t as good). But I missed the correctly frothed milk. In particular I found that both the Siemens and the De Longhi produced variable froth based on the age of the milk and sometimes the make. (Waitrose milk rarely frothed at all but M&S milk did … most of the time).

This thing froths the milk to your liking (you can adjust temperature and degree of frothing) and you can then pour your froth onto the coffee with as much or as little as you wish. And so far it has been consistently good.

The proof of this is that I am now drinking more coffee. I commend this machine most highly.

PS – some advice: When you have finished with the machine for a session, empty the tank and dry it thoroughly inside with a tea towel, then store the tank with the lid INSIDE the tank. The reason for this is that if you live in a hard water area, over time the tank becomes milky in colour due to the hardness of the water, and no amount of cleaning will clear it. For just a couple of minutes’ effort you will be able to keep the tank crystal clear.

This coffee machine is superb and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
It works great, easy to clean and as always with Nespresso, offers a lovely espresso in the morning.
Really easy to set up and use, then once done, it is just point and squirt.
Even the more “complex” coffees, are super easy with this machine and if you enjoy your coffee but tired of the process and clean up after, then this is definitely worth getting.

The only slight minus is the small bin for the used pods has no drain itself, so coffee build up in there, which needs cleaning every so often.

Overall can’t fault it and worth the money!

    I LOVE this machine.
I’ve had a few machines in the past, the most recent was the Dualit 4-in-1. I have always avoided the nespresso machine as they never included the steam wand… until now. Finally a nespresso machine with a steam wand!
This machine is so easy to use I have even allowed my husband to use it!
Some reviews I read prior to purchasing this machine complain that the coffee is not hot enough, I havent found that to be the case but pre-warming the cup does help. Also, I’ve found that rinsing the machine through (running an espresso or Lungo without a coffee pod) helps to keep the machine clean and the coffee tasting its best.
The preprogrammed settings can be adjusted for personal taste – hotter, more milk froth or longer coffee shots.
The self cleaning steam wand is so a delight to use, excellent frothign results and then a quick wipe with a damp cloth, return the wand to its position and you are done. the drip tray is easy to remove and fits back snugly. I’ve had issues with other coffee machines leaking underneath the drip tray but no so with the creatista.
The only reason you could possibly have for not getting this machine is that you prefer using the loose coffee grounds and can get through an entire pack of within 3-5 days of opening it before it loses its freshness.
    A truly superb machine!

Fantastic machine, very easy to clean and maintain, milk steamer works really very well – coffee quality rivals the decent freshly ground stuff found in coffee shops and where you want to add milk, rivals a barista made coffee costing several times more. Really nicely built and thought out, and the display is nice and clear and a doddle ti use. Highly recommended, would buy again.

Golden Review Award: 110 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this machine! Read several reviews online for all models of nespresso before finally deciding to purchase this one. Like many other reviewers I was planning on buying the champagne coloured model. I read many reviews which stated that the stainless model is not only stainless but has extra options and heats up in 3 seconds as opposed to 10 which is not obvious in the specs. This, combined with the fact that this one was a special deal on prime day I opted with the stainless model.

I am in no way disappointed, and very pleased with my purchase and is worth every penny despite being one of the more expensive machines on the market. I read an article that said Oprah said she loved it and stated it as a must buy for 2017. She could afford any machine and the fact that she chose this one speaks volumes.

The display is very easy to use and we love the fact that you can fully customise your coffee with the amount of froth and heat of the milk. You can ensure that you have a perfect coffee just how you like it every time even without having to visit the coffee shop.

Very stylish addition to our kitchen! The jar of instant coffee is now firmly at the back of our cupboard!

Perfect coffee just how you like it, without leaving the house!

This is a great machine. I have had it a while now and it takes pride of place in the kitchen. The coffee is great, it is easy to operate for all types of coffee and the instructions to clean or de scale it are shown on a step by step guide on the screen on the top of the machine. It is a bit expensive but well worth it if you like your coffee.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBrilliant machine – great coffee. Replaced a Nespresso Pixie. It’s not too big on the kitchen worktop, looks sleek enough and has a much bigger water tank capacity than other traditional nespresso machines. I’m also sure it’s a little quieter than the pixie was. It is very easy to use via the little lcd scroll screen and single start button. We did have to adjust some drinks from the default settings to get the textures a la Costa, and when making for two you can only just get the milk volume needed in the jug without overflowing, but I would say it’s pretty much spot on once you’ve got those bits figured out. Perhaps a little expensive but I have no hesitation in saying buy it if you want Flat Whites / Lattes / Cappuchinos frequently. 75 nespresso credit if you buy before end if Jan 2018 (yes, even if purchased via Amazon) a bonus!

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersI bot the plus model. The milk foam from this machine is smooth and very much like those from coffee shops. The 3 seconds heat up time is fantastic! I saw some web-reviews suggesting that the coffee and milk are not hot enough – I am a regularly coffee/expresso/flat white/cappuccino drinker and never feel the coffee produced are “not hot enough”.

I was initially hesitated to pay for such a price and is now glad that I made the purchase. Well done!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is our third Nespresso machine so we are well inducted into the Nespresso world but this is a whole leap forward. In addition to the look of the thing, swapping the old aerochino milk frothier for a steam pipe means that you are producing really authentic looking and tasting coffees. The machine allows for specific tweaks in temp, volume and milk frothyness (!) in relation to each type of coffee and it’s really easy to use. Really happy with i

Golden Review Award: 450 From Our UsersThis is the ultimate Nespresso maker. Breville combined the best of the best, an excellent, super fast heating Nespresso capsule espresso maker, and a good solid steamer. Then put it all in a package that is gorgeous. And included really simple, intuitive controls.

The instructions say, warms up in three seconds. Not 100% accurate, more like about 10 seconds from completely off to actually delivering espresso or steaming milk. That’s far better than the standard Nespresso machines that take around two minutes to warm up.

This uses a lot more electricity than the other models. The heating element and pump seem to be much larger. If your kitchen circuit is close to capacity, best to not run this and the toaster at the same time.

There is a small learning curve and not everything is super high quality. The steamer is super easy to use. However after you steam milk, have a towel ready to wipe down the steamer right away. Because when you return the steam wand back to home, the steamer purges automatically. You want the milk off the wand before it purges.

There are a couple of seemingly flimsy parts. The espresso tray feels kind of cheap. This is the little drawer that slides out for shorter cups, like an espresso cup. I would have loved the drawer to be spring loaded and to push out completely. Instead it bumps out a little bit and then you have to pull it out the rest of the way. The spent capsule tray has a loose fit – it just doesn’t feel expensive.

The selection knob works backwards – when you turn the knob clockwise, the selections move from right to left.

The screen is easy to read. And the whole thing is infinitely adjustable. And super intuitive to make adjustments, unlike Nespresso machines that require some crazy button pressing to change the volume.

This will make three espresso sizes – ristretto, espresso, and lungo. The volume for each of those can be adjusted, if you like your espresso slightly larger, well press the select button, and then turn the dial to increase the volume. It is as simple as that.

It has four frothed milk drink settings – flat white – steamed milk with almost not foam (a cafe au lait) and espresso; cafe latte – steamed milk with a little bit of foam and espresso; cappuccino – truly steam foam and espresso; latte machiatto – combination milk on the bottom and foam on the top and espresso; and simply steam.
For each of those drinks, the milk temperature and amount of foaming can be adjusted.

The milk steaming / foaming is fully automatic. You pour milk into the included carafe, lift the steam wand with the ring, put the carafe in the machine, lower the wand, and the steaming starts automatically. No need to stir, or move the carafe. The head has multiple holes to stir the milk and foam at the same time. The Nespresso pump works to pump hot steam into the milk, and then a block heater creates high pressure steam at the end to finish the foaming. Temperatures are incredibly reproducible.

The water reservoir is huge. About double the size of any other Nespresso machine. There is a unique low water indicator. The bottom tray holds a lot of overflow. There is a red float that pops up when the tray is filling up.

I have owned and own many Nespresso machines. Starting with a D290 that was retired four years ago after making thousands of Nespresso. I used a Nespresso U for several months and gave that to my sister. I have a Essenza for travel. My wife has a Pixie at school. And the red Citiz is being replaced by this Creatista Plus. I have made thousands of Nespresso. In the long history, only one machine has ever acted up – that original D290, it actually still works, it just had trouble with preheating sometimes.

By far, the best machine of all that I have ever used is this Creatista Plus. Everything came together exactly right with this machine. They got the steaming perfect. And it produces the correct temperature right from the very first espresso made. Other machines require a water only warm up. This machine does not.

Best investment ever. The machine is sold by Breville – where ever you can find those appliances, you’ll find this machine. The service and warranty are all covered by Nespresso.

    Truly a gorgeous machine.
