Liked compactness ideal for taking on self-catering hols. Container small for empty pods and water drains have to empty frequently. Loose water reservoir means I knock it over most times
This is really good and very small.
The instructions dont seem to be included, look online.
You will see adjusting volume in the cup is possible and useful via the buttons -but there is a danger, inadvertently you could over-ride the quantity and the need to reset it.
Unhappy with the supplier, check the supplier ratings before purchasing.
Not for crowds of coffee drinkers, but its so small & compact & ideal for 1 or 2 people. Can hide it away on the worktop & it is very quick to knock out a very decent coffee. More cappuccino orientated with the small shelf/drip tray, but take that away & perfect for lungos in a normal mug. Plus payable in five installments.
This is a great little machine that doesn’t take up much space and looks very attractive at the same time. Gives you a hot shot of delicious coffee.
Irs a beautiful compact machine which makes lovely coffee. I love Starbucks coffee and was recommended this little beauty. Recently realised that you can purchase compatibile capsules from aldi .it’s a money saving gem.
The machine makes either 40 mls or 120mls. The coffee is quality. I take it away on holiday because its compact.

Super easy to use, takes minimum space and super elegant. Also bought a coffee selection on amazon and couldnt be happier. For whatever reason the black one was super cheap for just 89 when the other colours were 129. Nespresso machines are usually way more expensive but this was a fair price. Couldnt be happier with the purchase, love Nespresso coffee.
This was bought to replace and far more expensive Nespresso machine which (after several years) had stopped reliably puncturing pods. It is incredibly compact and quiet with absolutely no difference in the quality of coffee produced. If you just want a machine that makes espresso coffee with ease, the buy this. Don’t waste your money on more expensive machines unless you’re desperate for a very large water tank or a built-in milk frother. I use this to make espresso and americano coffees and am very happy with the results.
The Essenza Mini has delivered delicious coffee every time I have used it. Having long been a fan of the traditional French press style of coffee, I can safely say that the Essenza Mini delivers a vastly different cup of coffee that’s perfect on its own or as a base for milk-based drinks.
Excellently compact, only slightly smaller than home original machine. Functions very readily, easy to use, clean and even better, same great flavour! Perfect for work or small spaces, accompanied with Nespresso capsules! Definitely recommend.
My first Nespresso machine, purchased after using one in a hotel I stayed in recently.
Such a useful thing to have and way ahead of those old style coffee machines that were everywhere years ago. This machine oozes style and sophistication. It is a little noisy in the coffee making process, but it can be forgiven for that.
I’ve had no issues with this coffee machine so far! It’s compatible with a lot of common supermarket coffee pods! Can’t fault it, would recommend 🙂
However, my machine exhibits an intermittent fault. And yes I have reported it to Nespresso but they want me to call them when it happens so that one of their customer care operators (who know nothing about the machines other than what they have on their cribsheet next to them),Come get me to do some basic Fault finding whilst I’m on the phone.
Having done this for other machines that have had similar problems in the past, I always end up sending the machine back to be fixed. The last machine that I sent back was not fixed and I had to send it back again, and it came back with the same problem!
Hence, I bought a simple machine to avoid faults from a complicated mechanism.
The fault is; whenever I switch on the machine and press one of the brewing buttons, the lights flash whilst it warms up. However, instead of stopping flashing and being ready to brew, the lights blink quickly and the only way to stop them blinking is to switch off the machine out the power socket.
Sometimes this happens for or five times, before eventually starting to work.
This should not happen, even on a basic machine.
This is not in keeping with Nespresso’s quality image!
Good luck to anyone who buys a machine.
I got this to replace mine old 1 that broken Its compact small fits nicely under my icabnit quick and easy to use makes amazing coffee great value for money would highly recommend the coffee that comes with it taste lush to.
The Krups coffee machine is excellent and do easy to use
Only used it once as I don’t know how to get the empty pods out the machine as the booklet is in foreig
Gots this as a gift and it looks lovely. I’m not bothered that it just hold 4 pots once used, not a big effort to empty it. It’s slimline and doesn’t take up much room.
Improve the quality of daily life. Should buy it more earlie
I have to admit I’m hooked on Nespresso coffee especially the stronger brews so when my Magimix machine broke down I was in a bit of a pickle. I saw the Krups machine on Amazon and decided to give it a try as I knew the Krups brand was usually quality. The machine is smaller than I expected but is very well made and solid, much better than the Magimix I had. Best of all it makes wonderful coffee.

Lack of any instructions in English. Fortunately I have a bigger machine so i was able to set up time flow control. For the price OK but nothing to really recommend.
A Krups machine got a Best Buy in a WHICH? review recently so although they didn’t have exactly the one that got the Best Buy I bought this one from Amazon. So glad I did. It’s compact, elegant, makes a really nice cup of coffee and (unlike my last pod coffee machine) it’s so lovely and quiet. I’d definitely recommend this one.
As the heading says, I’ve bought two of these. The first one broke within three months. The second one broke within six months. Probably not the best advert for this machine.
This was bought as a gift but a duplicate pressie so I had to send mine back.
Best kitchen item I’ve had for a long time.
A compact neat machine . . . small footprint. I can see this going away with me when I stay in Hotels.
It has a good sound to the pump . . . not particularly quiet . . . but you can sense the power needed to make the coffee. I have had a couple of other nesspresso macines and the pumps sound ‘tinny’ like one of those hi-pitched japanese motorbikes . . .
It makes coffee . . . at the end of the day the type of coffee it makes is down to the user . . .
I have used Aldi, Cafe Royal, Lidl, and Consuella brands of capsule without problem! Even one type that has been stubborn on my old machine had a better on this one with good crema.
So, machine recommended . . . it looks like there are attempts a-foot to phase out this type of machine / capsule for the new style Vertuo . . . prices for the original machines have tripled and Nesspresso are charging so much more for the original capsules . . . I saw one type listed on the Nespresso site at 10 for 10 capsules!
Stick with compatibles and if you can, grab one of these as a spare, to future proof your coffee making!
Easy to use, coffee tastes great and nice and compact so doesn’t take up much room. Good crema and we use a separate milk frother to make longer drinks. Espresso and lungo modes means can get a short and long drink. Did a lot of research and chose this with good reviews and also because it uses nespresso capsules which have the widest range or own brand capsules that are cheaper.
Great for a small space, besides colour matches all my gadgets 😉
Delivered on time, easy set up. Easy to program for custom sizes. Small footprint fits well on my counter.

Buy these even though they are bit more expensive. Plenty of compatable pods available from Aldi etc.
Brilliant pod machine. Second one we purchased so we can make two cups at once. Does everything a pod machine costing twice the price, but occupies very little space. Had one for four years and just purchased the second
Who would have thought such a small machine packs such a powerful ability to make a really good cup of coffee. Love how the machine looks on our kitchen counter – stylish yet unobtrusive. Also very thoughtful of the manufacturer to include some sample pods to help us get started.
I have been using this for a month now and first impression is very good. Compact size and good quality. Doesn’t look cheep. I have been using original nespresso capsules and the coffee tastes good as well. So I can only recommend for now.
Why did I wait so long to order one of these? Prob coz a coffee snob and persisted with the full monty espresso machine. Got t sick of disposing of grains and the whole prep time/stuff. Get the right pods for this and you will be amazed. Great coffee in 30 seconds. Don’t be put off by it’s small size – it is tiny – Absolutely brilliant.
Purchased the mini Nespresso for use in our touring caravan and it proved an excellent addition. Lovely coffee, plenty different brands to choose from and simple to operate. We like it so much it’s now in the house when we’re not away. Highly recommended.
I’ve had the previous Nespresso machine 10 years + so when it finally packed in, this small and automatic one seemed perfect.
And it is, love the compact size, it’s less noisy than my old one and although it doesn’t have a big water tank or used capsules storage (6 Max), it is just perfect for me. Coffee is really good too!

For someone who loves straightforward black espresso coffee this is a great nespresso machine
Simply so easy and great to use. Having 4-5 lungo every day. Preparing the coffee takes only 30-40 seconds. My fav ones are creme brle and chocolate one by nespresso.
Very compact, easy to use and makes great coffee. The espresso is quite small (more like a ristretto) but can top up with a drop of hot water.
It makes a decent coffee but only a short, punchy ones, like an espresso. If you are making cappuccinos or lattes, you may need to use two pods as it will be rather weak with just one. This would be the case for making an Americano as well. If you are used to drinking a big cup of coffee in the morning, even the lungo option won’t cut it as it is the equivalent of half a normal cup. Many highstreet coffee chains use two shots of espresso in their drinks, so to recreate such a barista style beverage, you will need to do the same and use two pods. This will make it more expensive of course, so people need to factor this in when deciding whether this is for them. It’s very convenient and easy to use but it will cost you more than the classic (without pods) espresso machine, even compared to using just a single pod per coffee.
My previous Nespresso machine that I had had years died a death so I decided on this one and it’s a great buy. Fast delivery of espressos, which is the most important thing for me. Compact machine, takes a bit of getting used to as it doesn’t automatically release the empty capsule but that’s not a problem. Highly recommended.
Replaced my Dolce gusto as it is smaller, pods are much cheaper as well.

I love Nespresso and have both newer and this (older) version. I prefer this one as more choice and control over quality of brew, newer VERTUO range has too much crema for my liking and much less choice.
It’s very slender, very neat and makes a great cup of coffee.

A small compact machine, ideal for a small space. Works well…I found it a little stiff at first when inserting the capsule, but got used to it. Also, found the fitting of the water tank fiddly at first, but again, I’ve got used to it. I really like this machine.
Size well suits my requirement. Use 2 capsules double Lungo as a kickstarter to the day, perfect. Why is so much water wasted, knocks a star off. L’Or capsules (aluminium) work well in machine and tasty at half the price of Nespresso originals. 25 per 100 currently.
This is ideal for those who drink a lot of expression or slightly bigger lungi size. Not for those who want a mug of coffee
Sometimes late at night or early morning we just wanted espresso and didn’t want to come downstairs and bother our pets, open the gate, you know, 1st world problems. So we got ourselves this machine, a tray, pod container and two small glasses and for about hundred pounds we created our bedroom mini coffee bar. Amazing idea. The machine is small but capable enough to produce great coffee every time. Water tank is easily accessible, descaling process is manual and simple, and daily maintenance is really an absolute minimum, just empty the used pods holder and fill the water tank. We are very happy enjoying our secret espresso in the bedroom.
If your looking for it to pour your milk in the shape of a flower this ain’t for you….. Nice compact tidy machine, does what it’s asked to do a nice hot Nespresso, very simple.

Bought as a Christmas present. Good quality makes coffee really quickly. Would recommend but if you like your coffee piping hot then I found it adequately hot but not the same if just poured from kettle. Nice size not too big on worktop

This is my new machine (had a couple of other Nespresso machines before). Looks very elegant and sleek. It is smaller than eg Pixie machine, but still good. Very happy with the product.

This is an attractive and compact piece of kit which won’t take up a lot of room on your kitchen shelf.
Without the drip tray it’s fine, but you’ll need to clean your work surface if it drips.
But the main point is the coffee is good 🙂

This is a lovely, compact coffee machine that makes lovely coffee, great for small spaces and looks great!
The only downside is that the water container is small and it needs to be regularly filled but that’s fine if your only have a couple of cups a coffee a day!

Great coffee machine for a very good price.
The machine is very easy to use, compacted and light. It can be easily moved around, with a minimal clean and pleasant design. It’s perfect even for traveling, it can easily fit a backpack or an handbag.
The coffee is good, dense and with a good consistency, obviously it can’t be compared with the higher models (with coffee beans) however it’s a very good compromise.
I highly recommend you this product if you love to drink a good coffee without spending too much, wherever you are.
I would say that is one of the best.
Bought this just before lockdown, and have been using it multiple times a day for the last 6 months while working from home. Makes great coffee, even with supermarket coffee pods (which are more cost effective). Heats up and is ready to make coffee very quickly. Although the pre-set cup sizes are small in volume (espresso and lungo) you can customize this and change the volume of coffee made to fit your cups/mugs.
The only downside is the water reservoir is small, and needs to be refilled after one mug of coffee.
Bought to replace larger model that we’d worn out after several years. Pleased with this new model as takes up less space and a bit quieter. Slightly smaller water tank and receptacle for empty capsules, but as I’m generally only making coffee for two or three people at a time, it’s perfectly adequate. Glad I plumped for this model.
I’ve tried a few different cheap options for good coffee at home. Started with a tassimo. That was rubbish. Then tried filter coffee but it was too weak and unpredictable. Had better luck with a cafetiere but it was a bit if a faff and my wife didn’t like the granules which would make their way through the filter. The quality of the coffee was hit and miss as well and hard to figure out how to keep it consistently good.
The nespresso machine is incredible. Really great coffee everytime and unlike tassimo you aren’t locked in to buying the manufacturer’s sanctioned pods. Ergo you have an enormous range of choices at your local supermarket and online.
It’s a really small machine and well worth the money so far. Fingers crossed it lasts longer than some of the 1* reviews on here suggest.
My husband and I have been delighted with this machine so far, but it is cream and not white in colour. Would still definitely recommend!

This is a lovely neat and slim coffee machine. Perfect for a small kitchen. You can buy whatever kind of pods that are compatible. There is plenty of choice. I had a tassimo before and the nespresso is much better, the capsules are cheaper and it is a much better system. I love that the capsules can easily be recycled. Would buy again.
Excellent purchase. Am very impressed. Six months of frequent use and still going well. A good companion with a flavor and no complaints – especially when you live again the free life of a bachelor!
Very small and compact and very quick too. It takes around 1 min to reheat the water and be ready to use. The size of the tank is pretty big, enough for around 6/7 coffees but I wish the place for the cup to be a big bigger cuz I can’t fit my favorite cup
I am a coffee and Nespresso lover.. this coffee machine is so small and so good! Definitely recommend it. The only negative it has a really small container for the used capsules, it can only hold around 5-6.
