Works well, heats up quickly but more like a grill than an oven. Sacrifices capacity for easy storage.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis little oven is brilliant for most foods. The only downfall is the height available . I managed to get two banana cakes in…in loaf tins. They rose so much I had them sticking to the element at the top! Heats up in a fraction of the time, very versatile and much cheaper to run than the ove

Fantastic machine no issues on its working abilities however the only down point I find is that its not so easy to clean, it could do with a non stick coating or something on the sides to help with cleaning, apart from that, it’s well worth the money.

Have loved using this so far. It’s not too difficult to work out how to use, and is fairly user friendly. We’ve been very impressed so far with everything that we’ve cooked. Would highly recommend this product.

Very pleased with my oven its quite noisy and gets very hot on the outside especially the top will burn you if touched so would not recommend for use for under 14 years old cooking is about the same and I did turn food around to cook evenly body of oven definitely needs updating hence 4 star not 5 but it’s very useful addition, to the kitchen see U S have updated ninja oven’s already

Ovens been redundant since I bought this.
No complaints at all. Not used all of the functions it’s mostly been on air fry.
Grill option gets a bit messy with the fat spitting you’ll need to clean while it’s still warm.
Better than the drawered type as you can do full size pizzas and garlic breads.
They cook even so there’s no need to turn them half way through.
    Love it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNinja products are amazing and the ninja oven is no exception. We now have the small ninja oven and this larger one which are both excellent. Since our 1st purchase back in 2019 I can honestly say we haven’t used our smeg integrated oven the ninja oven just cooks everything perfectly. I would honestly be lost without over ninja ovens great on the electric too.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersMy oven Is ancient. It needs to be replaced but now that I live on my own I don’t need a big oven. I have been looking at one of these for sometime and wondered if at my age the expense was justified. I went ahead and bought one anyway. I am so pleased that I did, it is easy to use & very quick. Obviously with my years of cooking I was able to work out what function to use but a handy booklet comes with it. It is going to be interesting cooking a Christmas dinner for two but my daughter has got one & she cooked a small turkey in it last Christmas. I would recommend one of these for everyone, very handy even for a family.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersNoisy when in use, cooks ok, but cleaning a nightmare, I clean after every use, wipe the inside as recommended, the cooked on grease has marked the bottom plate and the sides of the inside of the oven, I usually cook veg not greasy food, the wire basket and black oven trays are ok to clean. The baked on grease which cannot be properly cleaned off creates a slight smoke when cooking which irritates my eyes. Therefore I am disappointed overall.

When it arrived one of the wire racks had one of the wires not fixed at one end. As part from that it works well. I have used it for air frying, toast and various mixed meals. I did roast a 1kg gammon joint but it got overcooked on the outside and only just done on the inside.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAs a retired couple we are very much aware of electric costs so investing in a small oven seemed a good idea. Despite never having heard of Ninja before, we chose this oven/air fryer having research on Google and YouTube etc and it seemed to come out with pretty good ratings.
For example: It takes less than a minute to reach 200C whereas my large oven would take up to 7 minutes.
The only criticism I have is that it does not toast bread well – my old toaster does it better and quicker – but that’s a minor irritation. Obviously you would struggle to cook a full roast dinner in it (but I think there is a larger version for that sort of thing) but cooking for two it is not only convenient but also cost effective.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersFirstly this product arrived several weeks before the actual due date!
Then while unpacking NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF PLASTIC was used in the packaging. So once again 5***** for helping towards removing plastic from our purchasing.
Everything was there was was needed to get up and running after the first 20 ‘roast’ session to help with the overall cooking plans.
The only downside if l can say a downside there was a small booklet that gives us the consumer the first leg up on that Ninja Ladder of home cooking plus. It could have been bigger and more informative with ideas and information
This product will be a valuable tool to new homeowners.. students.. even people that have grand kitchens.
It looks great and like all the Ninja products IT WORKS and saves your energy bill at the end of the day.
If you can afford it get it but please DONT go into debt to buy it no matter how great this item from Ninja is.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHeats up amazingly fast, does chips brilliantly. The airfry basket is too deep, so that when used with the tray underneath to cook things that might drip it doesn’t really air fry it roasts and the chicken sits in its own fat, so air cannot circulate. The main concern is that the inside coatings are too fragile and hard to clean without damaging them. Enamel rather than what I suspect is powder coating might be better. Toaster is a joke it just dries bread out rather than toasting it. Generally very useful and saves money compared with my big oven.

  21. Anonymous says:

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersDefinitely worth getting as it saves on heating up the entire oven for a pizza or bowl of chips etc.

    Pros
Super fast to get the temperature.
Takes up little physical space on the work top. A little bigger than the microwave when laid flat
Provides the various trays you need.

    Cons
The top gets very warm when cooking, so think about pets wandering round.
The recipes are US based so of little help in some of them – What is Broiling?
Timings are completely out in the recipes. Frozen chips are 20 minutes in the documentation. They were dry and cremated in 10 minutes when I did them from frozen at the correct temperatures. So take care when cooking and watch what it is doing because it is very quick.
Roasting is not really possible as it won’t fit a chicken in there, but will easily fit a load of chicken legs in the tray.
I am being picky with this but not sure you can really class it as 8 in 1, toasting and bagels are basically the same as grilling.

Because of the timings I can’t give it 5 stars but well worth it.

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersPeople love to join the popular narrative train without thinking and yet when you probe the wonderful air fryer statements you soon realise that an air fryer is basically used for some McCain French Fries as they do not burn like they do in oven and that is about it.

Let’s cut the nonsense. You are not missing out on an air fryer if you do not own one.

The oven is great for space saving and for heating up to cook temperature in under a minute. You can use a bake or roast function for this too.

But basically, we can give all these names to a square cooking box that is actually AN OVEN. Just to repeat it’s an oven.

So, to sum up. If you want a space saving device, an energy efficient oven compared to a large oven, you live alone, and need a grill too; it is perfect. The grill feature takes some time to toast bread so you will need to be patient but it does toast properly compared to a toaster. I suppose more crunchy.

Whether you air fry, bake or roast, unless you are doing french fries there is little difference so don’t get sucked into this obsession with an air fryeryou don’t use fat for frozen chips so the healthier air fry statement is another throw away comment.

Update: Air fryers are basically a fancy name for a mini fan assisted oven! After a few more weeks use, I am loving the use of my mini fan assisted oven!

Electricity is so expensive. Now only two of us the main oven is good but costs lots to run. I wanted to heat up small meals make pizza chips etc. Cooks evenly, warms up pre heat fast halves my cooking time and gets the chips browned well. I love the tip up design to save space.
It’s a great little overn to save money in the long term allowing for its cost. Because it’s small it’s efficient. I have read the basket can be difficult to clean but I used a little spray oil and it cleaned ok. The enamel tray is good quality. It’s not to heavy and would suit most students or bed sits etc because it’s so compact.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersWe are a family of 4 (2 adults+2 hungry children) and we absolutely love our ninja oven. We spent ages looking at alternatives and it was a toss up between this and the Sage mini oven, but we are so glad we bought this one. Particularly with having 2 shelves, we can cook lots more in than if it only had one shelf like the Sage. We use it so much it has pretty much replaced our main Range oven. Heats up very quickly and times the preheat too before counting down the time you set which is a great feature. Cooks food better than our main oven, and we can’t figure out why, but it does! It even toasts bread better than our posh toaster! We didn’t struggle to get trays to fit either- managed to pop into Sainsburys and get some. Saves a lot of time and money on electricity bills. I would recommend to anyone. At first we thought it was a bit expensive, but now we feel it was well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis product is brilliant!
I’ve had this item a month now, I’ve tried nearly all eight options. The best being the roast option as 30% less cooking time and minus 10 degrees c settings therefore energy saved. Also it only takes one minute to preheat whereas my cooker was taking a good 20 minutes to preheat.Another energy saver which we all need at present due to the hike in energy costs!
CLEANING! EASY! I’ve read other reviews so I purposely cooked food that splashes. Wait for the ‘ FLIP’ indicator to show after the equipment has cooled down, take out any trays etc and flip the oven and open the back panel. Plenty of room to clean everywhere! Probably best to clean shortly after use so food doesn’t cake onto surfaces.
I get excited each time I use this fantastic oven, Ninja is a great make, obviously it has a smaller capacity than others, ideally for one, maybe two persons.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a little gem of an appliance and would recommend this to anyone. It is going to save on electricity because it is so fast and can be run off our solar panels. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is the cleaning aspect at the back by the fan (but then most standard ovens are exactly the same) and the fact that you need to learn how to adapt your knowledge of cooking from conventional ovens. But I’ve sung its praises so much my daughter is going to buy one!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve had this oven for a few months now. Once I got used to all of its functions, I absolutely love it. I hardly use my main oven now. The big down side and the reason I only gave it 4 stars is cleaning it. It gets splashed with grease and it looked really dirty even though I kept wiping it down after use. I used some oven cleaner and really wished I hadn’t, it looks a mess. My fault entirely but I couldn’t stand having a dirty looking oven. Please shark sort this issue out with the cleaning issue, it’s a fantastic product and this lets it down.

This ninja oven is great and cooks food evenly and quickly the only downside is that cleaning it is a bit of a nightmare as the elements are in the way and you’ve got to be careful not to break them whilst scrubbing. Stopped cooking foods with high fat content or food that spits as a result. Great for toast but a little expensive for a toaster.

I absolutely love this oven. It heats up so quick in 60 seconds that you don’t really need to pre heat.

The light inside is really bright, and it has cooked toast, French Fries, chicken, etc.. to perfection.

If you use the try under the frying basket it makes cleaning really easy.

I have two of Hotpoints most expensive ovens costing over 1,200 and this cooks better and quicker.

This and my two Deebot robot vacuum cleaners are my favourite purchases ever.

Golden Review Award: 62 From Our UsersAlthough I already owned a ninja air fryer I decided to purchase this as this accommodates more food and is easier to use. I usually love ninja products but the air fryer that looks like a hut was a disappointment. This is bigger better with accurate cooking temperature and timing. I use this a lot. I am also a clean freak but I haven’t had any cleaning issues as I tend to clean promptly. I do also use a Pyrex glass tray which sits perfectly in the non stick tray as I find it easier to clean. For those who want to re-heat thick liquids that can splash it would be advisable to use a suitable oven safe lid to avoid spillage onto the back fan vents. The internal light is very handy when you want to check on the food. You can even leave it on throughout the cooking process. It’s a mini oven with air fryer and dehydrating options. It also has reheating options. I no longer use my main oven. The only negative I found was the quality of external stainless steel casing especially at the top as it can get scratched easily but most people wouldn’t notice this. It is big in size and we are a family of four and I never struggle with space which makes it worth it. It come with an air fryer crisper rack, non stick tray and more than 2 wire racks (sorry can’t remember exactly). Please note that you cannot put anything on it as I don’t think it would be strong enough. Do read the dimensions as I was surprised as it was bulky but that is essential. I got mine for 229 which I thought was a bargain considering the type of equipment it is and the options it offers from the Ninja brand. I can’t recommend it enough. I love it.

I bought this because I like the idea of being able to flip it up for storage, although so far it’s been in regular use. It heats up remarkably quickly. I haven’t yet tried it as an air fryer, but have heard great things about it.
One downside: although I knew it would be small, I hadn’t expected the foid to be so close to the element. Because of this, I can only use it to cook fairly flat things. Cakes are a no-no.
Pity really, because it means I have to keep another appliance for my baking.
    Very pleased with it though.

I love everything about this little versatile oven.; the way it cooks food and then stores away.
I find however, there is one glaring omission to the product; a tool to safety pull out the hot shelves, like you get with some grill pans. Once pulled out, the shelves can be manipulated with any oven glove.

I eat a lot of frozen food from COOK and only need a very small oven to save electricity. This oven is marvellous! Heats up very quickly and cooks to perfection. Sometimes the plastic food trays seem to get a bit affected by the heat, but only round the top rim. The instructions are very simple.
The only thing I would wish for is that the door handle could be on both sides. The one supplied is on the left and, where the gadget is located in my particular kitchen, this makes it a little awkward.
    Thoroughly recommend!

Still experimenting with caking, tray bakes, and biscuits.
I cook for one, so it’s brilliant for my every day cooking without having to turn my big oven on.

I really don’t know why I have a oven in this house anymore, as all we seem to use is Ninja products now.

This is the mini oven (8 in 1) it’s a air fryer but also bakes, grills and does much more.

It has a retail of 199.99 which seems a bit expensive but to be fair this was my first Ninja product and I have not looked back since and have nearly all the ninja products including the knifes and pots and pans.

This must be the best kitchen item I have ever had, I can’t believe I went all these years not knowing about this brand.

They offer so many health benefits, so easy to use, cheaper to run, less mess and just makes cooking much better, quicker and the food just taste so much better by using this mini over especially the bake function (Home made pin wheels and pies and pasties yum yum)

I love the fact that this also flips to save space , it’s very stylish (sometime a pain to keep clean I use a small amount of stainless steel cleaner), heats up very quickly and just ticks all the boxes.

It comes with the air fry mesh, pan and metal grill which can all be stored safely inside the mini oven.

So easy to use and will turns itself off after the timer but will keep good warm to when you want to enjoy it.

It does get a little bit hot on top so I would recommend not putting anything on the top unless you want it to cook.

I just love any ninja products and would definitely recommend to anyone.

All good, and it flips up to save space. Cooks food far quicker than my range fan oven as it’s a lot smaller. Quicker food turn round times means less energy usage. A bit fiddly to clean but persistence pays off. Well worth the money in my opinion.
