Took 2 hours to go through Got a 50 voucher today and it took 2 hours to come through AND charge me, 1st time it’s happened it’s usually instant. It took a little longer for the code to come through than previous ones I’ve purchased, they are usually immediately but maybe because this was a higher value.
Perfectly functional, not a physical vouche I purchased two of these vouchers as Christmas presents. You don’t receive an email, print out or physical copy of the voucher on purchasing, but instead receive a code to the purchasers Amazon account order history. So unless it’s for someone who lives in the same household as you, you’ll need to print this out to give to the recipient.
The code is easy to use with the Nintendo e-shop and redeems the amount to the users account (the user is required to set up an account to do this, but they don’t need to provide bank details). Any games available on the Nintendo e-shop can be downloaded. As far as I’m aware, it can’t be used to purchase hard copies of games.
All in all I have been pleased with the voucher and it has fulfilled its intended purpose!
Good for kids big and small Ideal for an extra present when they don’t know what game they want. Shame that the voucher wasn’t available for 20 rather than 15. Could have done with more choice on denominations but voucher good gift anyway.
Confusio I decided to get my Grandson a Nintendo Gift Card. So logically I went to their site and trawled through games/opened an account but couldn’t find gift cards. Eventually came across info that said you can’t buy it on their site and have to purchase a Gift Card from a retailer. Searched the supermarket online sites but no joy. Eventually found out Amazon was the place to acquire a gift card. I then learnt it’s just a downloadable Code. Some purchasers complained that the gift card amounts were preset but I wanted 30 worth so bought 2×15. I believe that will work and I can give the codes to my Grandson with a proper Birthday Card for him to top up his Nintendo Account. Good game, good game!

Sort your debit/credit card charging system out Nintendo! Voucher was last resort! A life saver, since there is absolutely no explanation why nintendo are not accepting any debit or credit cards whatsoever it’s been going in for WEEKS and all the banks I’m with have no issues with the merchant. IT’S NINTENDO WHO ARE THE PROBLEM! My little boy wanted a game and I can only buy games via PayPal on my own ID and not his, since cards aren’t WORKING via nintendo. The only solution was to buy this voucher and I was then able to apply it to my son’s account and buy his game for him before the nintendo Christmas sale expired on this particular game. Nintendo need to get their act together, it’s been going on all throughout December!

How can you review a e-card It woks you put the code in your switch and you have credit. I read in another review if you read the code out loud it takes you to Narnia. I did this and have spent the last week fighting evil demands and witches. This has not gone down well with my boss. So don’t read the code out loud if you need to be at work the next day.

Although comments around random combinations may be correct, each code has a similar prefix to identify country of origin, so may be confusing to some.
There’s no physical product here, so if you’re purchasing this as a gift you might want to look elsewhere, although there’s nothing stopping you from writing the code in a card or something similar.
