Don’t think you would get a better hoover for the price I love it being battery operated no lead to Trail around.
Purchased for my son, who’s a huge Henry fanatic. He loves it. I like it because it’s not too loud. My son vacuums at anti social times, so it’s a relief that it’s fairly quiet.
Obviously not as powerful as a plug in but works great and really light.
Great vacuum cleaner. A real bonus not to have to stop and plug in to different areas. My only quibble would be length of battery power which is around 30mins. I am thinking of getting around this by buying an extra battery.
I bought the cordless for work as power not always available. This does well for me picking up dust and normal debris with ease. I use the genuine bags and have 2 batteries, more than enough for a days work. I find the suction pretty good compared to any other cordless. I cant see the need for a cordless in the average house, No idea of the lifespan of the batteries, could be an issue as a replacement is approx 80. All in all good for me and for anyone short of power sockets .
Absolutely love my new Henry. Easy to use. Battery life is long plus two batteries are great! Lightweight and no cord getting tangled up. Great value for money love i
We find stick vacuums a little awkward and they very frequently need their small dust reservoirs emptying.
Everybody knows ‘Henry’ is easy to use and it has a big bag dust reservoir. The Cordless Henry is a little lighter than the mains version and has good suction for a cordless. Straightforward and effective.
We do tend to use it on maximum power most of the time which means a battery lasts about 15 – 20 minutes.
Recommended.
Great product my customers wanted to adopt him and the conveniance of having no cord wonderful
I keep him I the van and it’s a great tool for a service engineer cleaning alarm componants etc.
Great on my stone kitchen floor. Light and easy to manoeuvre .
Smaller waste capacity than our previous Henry’s, but I still prefer this cordless option.
Lightweight, easy to operate, and x2 batteries included with a charger. Had to buy additional head for wooden and tile floor, with most people having carperts and solid floors, this head can be added into purchase
I am so impressed with my Henry cordless! It’s everything that I hoped it would be and more.
It’s replacing my GTECH K9 and is so superior in every way!
If you’re thinking of a new vacuum, look no further!
How lucky I am to have the best most lightweight cordless vacuum! To start with, you cannot fault a Henry on reliability but this takes things a step further- Numeric have the formula spot on! The suction is adjustable for my thicker pile carpets and works brilliantly on all my flooring surfaces. Having two batteries is a plus, meaning I can vacuum over 3 floors without time restraints. You definitely won’t regret buying this Hoover, I would 100% recommend it.
Ok for battery powered, however suction is reduced compared to corded. Definitely need two batteries to complete house clean. Happy with purchase as lightweight.
So after reading various mixed reviews we were hesitant with buying a cordless Henry however we have been pleasantly surprised.
Yes it’s not as powerful as the mains Henry however, it is so practical and lightweight! If you plan on keeping a mains powered vacuum for those deep cleans then the cordless Henry is a brilliant second addition!
We have two kittens and a puppy and found that we need to vacuum at least twice a day from the various antics and pet hair. The cordless Henry makes light work of this! Easily picking up the hair on the sofas and excellent on hard flooring!
Prior to Cordless Henry we had a handheld dyson V8 – the suction is on par yet wins on battery life hands down!
The cordless Henry chassis now has storage for attachments and allows you to stand the long stick (I haven’t a clue what it’s called) upright with the unit – photos attached.
I would highly recommend the two battery option. We have a 4 bedroom house and one battery comfortably does a quick clean – two batteries allows you to deep clean.
Another plus – they recharge quickly!
Henry has a good name for reliability and durability, which the cordless almost lives up to apart from the cordless is really lacking in power, wouldn’t recommend it without trying something else first.
Wow! I love him. I love him. I love him.
Just bought a house, so have been avidly researching best vac 2020. Shark? Dyson? Vax?
Then. I had a few wines one night, and many happy memories flooded back of watching big people hoovering with away with this little chap.
I don’t know about wattage or tech compared to other popular brands, but the electricians left a dust pile of devastation around the whole house – and my new little man has eaten it all up with pride.
Love that he is rechargeable, so a modern twist afterall – and he’s as part of my new home now as my beautiful whippet.
And for many years to come.
Who ever thought I’d be so happy to own a hoover!
Henry. My new pal
Not as good as the cord on suction but still does the Job
This HVB160 cordless is well designed & built as you would expect from Numatic. But the suction power was not enough. On the high setting, not as powerful as a mains on low. It is just not enough to use it instead of the mains model, so it does not replace the standard mains model .I guess its all about the weight of batteries to give enough power, but battery technology advance may mean a MK2 . I will wait!
Very like the wired ones but with the ability to just pull out of cupboard and use straight away without pulling out the cord… laziness I hear you think? well, maybe, but it saves on all the fuss and is better when doing the car for a quick suck out!
This hoover is advertised as 9L capacity but it is actually only 6L (according to the manual which came with it), which is ideal for what I required but possibly the advert should be reworded. As cordless hoovers go…a great little hoover.
First of all – it’s not as powerful as the plug-in version. If you’re planning to use this as your main home vacuum I’d think again as I think you’re probably going to be dissapointed. I bought this for use outside in my workshop and for the patio. For this it is perfectly good since it is able to suck up dry leaves, dirt and dust. I don’t use the vacuum bags at all (which is probably not recommended). I just rely on the HEPA filter to block dust – which I beat out regularly. What you do notice about this version is that it’s very lightweight and maneurverable. Being cordless it’s quick to get out and put away. I’m glad I went for two batteries – as they do take a while to recharge and I often need more than one to finish a job (I’d estimate they last about 15-20 minutes each on full power).
I was concerned about the suction power after reading some of the reviews but it is absolutely fine! There is a lot of suction power there. I guess if you have pets you may need a more powerful model but for normal use on carpet or hard floors it is great. And not having to deal with a cord makes hoovering so much easier. I was also surprised how quiet the Henry is. Well built. Feels very sturdy. I am 6 foot 3 and the tube is high enough so I don’t have to bend down when hoovering like I had to do with my previous one eliminating back ache. Would strongly recommend this vacuum cleaner.
Versatile, good suction. Solid, well made.
Does whole house using both batteries.
British made.
Love little Henry. Came with 2 batteries so 1 is always fully charged. Never go back to a corded now, the bag is an easy to change hepa filter so no mess and the house smells fresh.
Brilliant to finally have a cordless henry.
So much better than my Dyson.
Great too the option of 2 battery pack.
The suction is terrible. I should have purchased a Henry Extra.
What can you say about Henry? Always smiling regardless of what you put down his throat.
I have used the chorded Henry for years but was fed up of the cable. I looked at reviews which said the battery version was not as good as the cabled version but decided to take the plunge anyway.
When Henry arrived I charged both batteries which is easy enough and so far have vacuumed the whole house three times and listed only a small amount of battery charge.
I have a mix if hard floor and carpet and move between the two with aflick of a switch.
I would recommend Henry to anyone
Does a good job , bit pricey but ho hum you pays for good quality. Easy to use.
This is the best vacuum ever! I had 2 cordless shark vacs, both had to be returned as got clogged everytime I used it. Great suction had to turn it down for my thicker carpet! Just great!
Brilliant little hoover for the price. Who doesn’t love a Henry hoover? Compact in size and lightweight, the suction is adequate too. Battery charges quickly and provides enough power to clean my whole flat. It runs down quicker if you use the stronger suction and if you switch it on and off a lot. Also, this hoover is very quiet, which I love.
The only slight issue is that you get 3 tools to use but there is only space to stow 2 tools at the back of the hoover.
Not quite as powerful as 240v type but still very good. Easy to use and store. If you think you may want one get it. I highly doubt you will be disapointed
Smaller than normal henry but perfect for grandkids to use in there bedrooms
Henry are the best hoovers on the market and this is just another fine example
This Henry is just like the corded one only without the cords!
Does a fantastic job and depending on whether you use the no’1 or no’2 speed, battery life is good. I ordered the Henry that had two batteries and I got just under an hour out of it before having to change to the second battery.
I’m very pleased with this, it makes my life easier while vacuuming communal areas in my job.
Came with all necessary attachments and a spare bag.
Highly recommend to all!
Henry is the best cordless vacuum on the market in my opinion, good suction , good battery duration on full power (30 mins) and easy battery change over.Gets under and over everything without having to change things about, like I had to on my old cordless upright.
The suction is lower than a corded one. But I’m using purely for collecting dust as I drill. Works perfectly for that and cleaning the car. Battery life is ok for me. But not for a whole house. Plenty with 2 batteries
Love it works brilliant just a bit heavy to go up and down stairs
I use this for my CRV. Car
It’s so easy No cable’s no Stress. And it’s a good idea with the two Batteries. The Hoover is Always ready to go. Thanks
I am a big fan of Henry vacuum cleaners and this is my third. I’ve gone to a cordless for the first time and I am extremely pleased with it. Although I must say I am glad I decided to go for two batteries, I think one may have been frustrating. I always have the replacement battery ready because when Henry stops he does so abruptly. It is slightly smaller than my previous corded versions but takes the same bags.
I love this vacuum. I have a Dyson cordless which is losing suction battery running for a short time and needs emptying
every 15 minutes plus filter needs cleaning once a week. This Henry has good suction, long battery life, bag that needs emptying after 2 months. Comes with 2 batteries. The suction on high setting is about the same as a corded Henry on low setting.
I used a Henry years ago , this new model is so much better . It’s lighter and being cordless makes it so much easier to use .the battery seems great so far , doesn’t run down to quickly and I love the clip to hold the pipe when not in use ,all In all it’s a very good product .
I can honestly say this is the best hoover I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many in my time. The battery does need changing mid hoover so it was worth getting one with two batteries, it has a long enough hose to reach well under beds and having somewhere to carry tools is a bonus. The bag lasts a while which is great and so easy to change, I hated having to constantly empty my last bagless hoover! Some reviews say the suction isn’t good, I haven’t had any problems.
I was always happy with my corded Henry but decided I would change to the cordless version and chose the 2 battery one so a spare battery is always ready. I am very happy with him as without a cord he does not fall over like the previous version, he is also a bit smaller and much lighter to pull around. Being lighter easy to carry upstairs. Suction is very good and the battery charge lasts a good while. Had him a while now and really no negatives. Highly recommend and he is BRITISH built which is unusual these days!
No lock on wheels but generally useful product – pretty good suction and good for cleaning ca
Possibly the most effective and efficient vacuum cleaner I ever had. Get the one with two batteries. Use one, put the other on charge. Swap them over after cleaning so Henry is ready for use next time. No cables. Super quiet. No really it is beautifully quiet.
Very good versatile little cleaner
Around the house and car etc
I’ve had the corded version
this is just as good just remember you need the two batteries because if you put it on the higher level of suction it drains the battery lot quicke
All battery operated vacuum cleaners suffer rather poor suction. This one, thanks to usual Henry build, works absolutely fine. We use it on different types of floors and haven’t had an issue. 2 battery set is a must if you are looking to hoover a bigger area.
Always liked my corded Henry but the cordless is so much easier can vacuum house so much quicker. Thumbs up to Henry.
Really good. I have a Dyson V6 and a V7 and this is twice as powerful with a much better battery life. It’s also easier to get into crevices of the car than the Dyson. You have to realise that a battery powered device will never be as powerful as mains, but this is very adequate and can make light work of a very dirty car.
I’m professional cleaner . So ,when I discover cordless Henry . Oh my ,fabulous. No anymore a cable to deal with. You are free to go ,everywhere you like to do the vacuum . My suggestion is : buy 2 batteries. Highly recommend to buy
i liked the fact that there was no cord and easy to carry around
The product is as expected from Numatic durable and well made and unlike its cordless competitors it still gives you plenty of dirt capacity backed up with two Batteries and still remains powerful enough .
Excellent delivery works very well pleasantly surprised two battery a definite benefit. charging dock great no need to plug whole machine in . Good suction extra bags also supplied
Easy to use and move around the house, good suction.
I have just replaced my corded Henry with this cordless version. The suction as others have said isn’t as good as the corded, but is by far the best in a cordless vacuum. Shop around as I got mine for 105 in Tesco with 2 batteries!
Use this in my cafe area as a stop gap before the end of day cleaning. Love the cordless feature and the batteries do well. We got one with two batteries which I recommend doing as one can charge while using the other.
More expensive then a normal Henry but due to the cordless feature this is to be expected.
Added bonus is you don’t loose the suction due to it being cordless and trust me Iv tried out quiet s few of these in the past and this is quite rare!
This is ace! Moved away from my cordless dyson because of messy and constant emptying. Henry ticks all the boxes! So easy, one battery on charge while using the other. Battery counts down but stops suddenly when out of charge. Not a problem as the spare us ready to go. I highly recommend it. Best purchase of 2018 so far…..
This is a fantastic machine. No need for a corded vacuum – it really does a good job, especially if you have mainly hard floors. Carpets on the higher setting get done brilliantly too, but uses more battery life. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend. Best vacuum cleaner I have ever used!
I am in love with Henry! He is the main man for cleaning.
No bothersome cord to bet tangled in and he does an excellent job.
The batteries last a good amount of time and it is great to have a spare battery always available.
Highly recommend cordless Henry
This is simply the best cleaner you can buy, if you can cope with a cylinder cleaner, it makes the Dyson look like a toy in comparison.
Very large dust container very low price bags, charge lasts around 30 minutes. The real Bonos with this cleaner it picks up all dirt large and small, it never clogs because of the size of bag, I would be very surprised if you had to empty the bag every month.
Only slight problem it needs a larger storage area. The cordless function is superb.
One last observation the battery| if you ever need to purchase another the price is a whopping 200 or more, don’t understand this!
Much lighter and smaller than the usual Henry, less powerful than the plugin version, yet amazingly I find they pick up just as well as the 240v. I am so pleased with this product. So much less hassle without trailing wires, LOVE IT
Could do with more battery life and suck as not as good as a corded versio
