I bought this when my older Weber went west and the rotisserie was too short for the replacement (Genesis e335). Virtually silent, a decent length cable, a good looking Stainless Steel motor, in every way better than the Weber original, and less than half the price.
I like that it is all made in stainless steel, with a mains powered motor.
The price!
I worried that it would fit properly- but it does!
The motor runs so quietly that I had to check (with glasses on!) that it was actually turning. Of course when the spit and forks are attached it’s much easier to see!)
Exactly what we wanted for a snip of the price of the Weber branded one that we couldn’t find to buy! Very happy.
Buy the correct one for your bbq. Its better to get stronger motor.
Works a treat on my Weber Genesis II 3 burner and much cheaper than the Weber version.

Excellent rotisserie for a third of the price of the Weber version. Works perfectly on my Genesis II E310.
Great value for money in relation to the genuine Weber product. I bought mine for the Genesis II 310 and therefore needed to use the extension piece. ***UPDATED*** After mentioning the issues with fitment below, I had feedback from Customer Service who explained that the extension piece had been assembled incorrectly. After maki g the necessary simple change, I can now confirm that it fits my Genesis II 310 perfectly.
However, like others have mentioned, the circular part of the rod on the non-bracket side of the hood does not fit into the groove which means that the square section of the spit rod sits there instead causing uneven rotation. Looking at the assembly, the bracket needs to stand off approximately 12mm more from the bowl to get a perfect fit. To overcome this, I spaced the bracket away by using longer bolts and putting a couple of nuts and washers behind it and the rod now fits as it should in the notches. The lid closes fully with care (you have to gently lift it up and to the right to clear the bolts) but it’s a bit disappointing that you should have to do this when it should be a simple install.
Just received and fitted on my 2020 Weber Genesis II 330. Initially I was concerned the skewer rotation slots on the right side were out of line with my grill case by 1 cm. After contacting the supplier they responded promptly and advised me to reverse the handle extension (which unscrews clockwise). Having done that it fitted perfectly and though not yet tested in battle seems to be a very solid and well made piece of kit. The motor is very quiet and seems pretty strong too.
Brilliant piece of kit. Over half the price of the Weber Spit. Motor is super silent and very steady. Very easy to fit using the bolts provided. Only Fire will be getting more of my money in the future I think.
Pros.
The build quality of the motor, electrical wire and materials seems to be of good quality.
The motor maintained a constant rotation.
The motor was quiet.
Cons.
When fitted on the Weber genesis ii 310 the lid would not shut as it caught on one of the screws. You could ignore the instructions and have the screen sticking out in the BBQ, or do what I did which was to use a hack saw to shorten the screw located at the front. Now the lid shuts perfectly.
The spit has an extension bar. To fit certain BBQ models. No matter how hard you do this up, it eventually loosens. I will fix this with some high temperature thread lock.
Summery.
Overall I’m really impressed with the product and considering the Weber is nearly 200 and the spit is also in several parts, (so would encounter exactly the same problems with loosening) I’m really pleased with the purchase.
If the spit was 1 piece and a shorter screw was supplied this would be an amazing product, but either way the issues encountered are easy to resolve.
The rotisserie is a great product, and works well – and at less than half the price of the weber original product. As supplied, the rotisserie motor fits to a bracket which was slightly too small, and prevented the barbeque lid from closing properly (This is on a Genesis II 2-burner). However, on informing the seller of this (on a Friday night) they responded early the next morning and a replacement bracket which fits perfectly arrived the following day.
Oh, and did I mention the chicken? Hmmm…. I can’t see much of a case for roasting a chicken in an oven again.
UPDATE AND SUMMARY 18/4/20
Raised from 2 to 4 stars. I’m leaving the original (lengthy!) text below because it tells a story. Following the original review Onlyfire customer service got in touch and have been very responsive and attentive. They sent a new bracket a week ago which I’ve just fitted and it does what my re-engineered bracket did. With the new bracket the lid closes properly. The side table can’t be lowered but that’s not an issue for me. Opportunities to refine the design further still exist – but it works on Genesis II 3 burner and positive customer service was a welcome surprise. Four stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW 5/4/20 (2stars)
Bought Only Fire 6034 as specific fit for Weber Genesis II 3 burner grill. Amazon did a fantastic job in delivering this in current circumstances I was happy to wait but rapid service was brilliant. The 6034 does need the extension part for the spit to be long enough for a 3 burner grill and I was aware of that – it’s a clumsy design solution but fair enough. The threads for the jointer piece which connects the extension are serviceable – the quality of the tap and die ing is on a par with other Chinese engineered threads I’ve come across. I have used high temp thread locker in the joint. The motor works and seems powerful. The bracket to hold the motor only fits the Weber Genesis II if fitted sideways otherwise the lid will not close. This means that the “this side up” indicator on the motor is worthless because it has to be slid onto the bracket in a way that leaves the motor in a horizontal position. It still turns the spit though. The bracket design is flawed in that The “U” shape between the firebox and the motor slide on point is not quite deep enough. This means that the Genesis II lid contacts the bottom of the “U” before the front of the lid closes onto the firebox. This leaves the lid slightly open at the front and resting on three points of contact putting extra force onto the two rear hinges. The meat forks are spot welded to their clamps – I had to slightly straighten one prong and I have my fingers crossed that the spot welds hold up. I shall probably re engineer the bracket and invest in some more forks. I’m keeping the item which has potential but is let down by silly details. Should be photos attached illustrating the facts.
UPDATE 7/4/20
Theres no option to upload the photos unfortunately. The priority flaw for me is the inability to close the Genesis II firebox lid when the rotisserie bracket is fitted. It is likely the firebox lid hinges will become damaged due to the excess and uneven forces being applied to them. For me its not worth the risk of a breaking the aluminium casting at one of the hinges. Yesterday I set to re engineering the bracket which needs lowering 14mm to provide clearance for the lid, by drilling extra holes in the bracket. Lowering the bracket means the motor also needs raising by 14mm. Additional holes were straightforward. I had intended to raise the motor by punching out the 2 pressed triangulation supports in the 90 degree bend below the motor, opening out that 90 degree bend and then adding two more bends to essentially smooth the bend below the motor into a complex of 3 bends rather than one, and provide for it to stand 14mm higher whilst still being the same horizontal distance from the firebox. With the bracket on an anvil I punched the pressed triangulation supports with a bolster and club hammer twice, when the four spot welds/tacks fixing the motor slide pressed section all pinged off the U section of the bracket! I rotated it by 90 degrees, raised it 14mm and bolted it back on (requiring removal by Dremel of a small tab of stainless on the U part of the bracket). It now works well and we had great rotisserie chicken last night. If the design of this bracket is to be maintained as a U shape then it would appear necessary to accept some compromise – now my Firebox lid closes (which is a priority for me) – however the lowered bracket now interferes with the ability to lower the side table (which I note was highlighted by Mr Hall reviewing on here). The table is not an issue for me because my rain cover fits over the whole thing with the table up. So – unless Onlyfire can produce a step in the U shape of the bracket it would seem we are all stuck between a rock and a hard place. For me the priority is closing the Firebox rather than lowering the side table, and with the 6034 as supplied, this will need some engineering to make it work.
Liked the price and build is very good and LOT cheaper than the overpriced UK Weber sales!
I am very impressed with this rotisserie and it fits my Weber BBQ perfectly. It works well and is very quiet on operation. It looks as if it will last for years and was very easy to fit.
Now what should I do? Pay 250 for an original Weber product or just over 60 quid for this excellent, almost identical, copy. Obviously I did the latter and after the first use my opinion is that I like it very much. Adds a new dimension to the Genesis II BBQ. Cooked a whole Sunday roast and the result was outstanding.
