Quality pictures - price not too bad!
I wanted an outdoor camera system to have ability of having a deterant – I have visible deterant now. Not wanting to pay for cloud service I can still be notified if detection triggered – Nooie emails me within seconds of seeing something. WiFi set up was easy. Phone App set up easy. I have angled camera direction to only see our cars on drive, ie not to detect pedestrians on footpath, or cars on road. If I had paid for cloud service the detection area can adjusted in the App apparently!

I’ve a group of the internal cameras and with an ageing outdoor cctv system figured I’ll give the external cameras a try. As the tip says, set them up before you install and the rest is just as simple. I opted for a 25mm SDS hole for ease, drilled through, then got the two 6mm red plugs and the mounting plate were installed.
Then just a case of twisting the cameras on, feed the wires through the wall and plugged in. Overall took around 30 minutes to install the two cameras I bought. Image is crystal clear and definitely makes the old system look blurred.
Will be eventually upgrading the old cctv for cameras and then going to get the cloud storage for an ease free and cheap system. Well worth it!

Very good camera but lack of user informatio
I bought this camera because of an issue involving damage to my house, including broken windows, caused by items being thrown from land alongside my property.
The camera was fitted about 18 feet high up on the side wall of my house, inside what looks like a birds nesting box, albeit with a rather large hole! The power source and WIFI were already in my loft space.
Pairing with my iPhone worked perfectly and the Micro SD card worked without the need for formatting. I have a fairly new iMac and was able to use another Nooie App to connect it to the camera making it it much easier to view images rather than on the iPhone.
Once set up I got no alerts from Motion Detection during the daytime, apart from one when a blackbird tried to get into the ‘nesting box’! I did get alerts during the night when the infra red was in operation but It turned out to be mainly large insects and on one occasion a spiders web! I found out from the Nooie site that the Motion Detection range was actually only about 32 feet and realised that the closest area of interest to me was 36 feet away, hence no motion detection.
The daytime view from the camera is excellent and the night time view very good. I realised that the camera is actually running continuously so, given that I would have a pretty good idea of roughly when a window got broken or a bicycle wheel or even a microwave oven landed in my garden, it would not be too difficult to interrogate the camera recordings to identify the culprit.
It is fairly easy to interrogate the recordings BUT much easier with Cloud+, which I have purchased. I can also view the videos or stills in Apple Photos.
I am very pleased with the camera but the manual that comes with it is basically just to set it up. Everything else I found out by trial and error and from numerous searches of the internet.

for the 40 for the camera and 1 years (3days rolling) icloud storage package of 28, this is a good simple system that uses the home WiFi network which when comined with the App make the camera & footage accessable, on your phone, anywhere in the world. One downside is that the icloud storage is unqiue to the camera, so if the camera fails and needs replacing, you have to re-subcribe to a new storage package.
Excellent camera on a budge
The picture quality is great, camera was easy to set up and app is easy to use. I have purchased two of these now – one for the front and another for the back of the house.
The only thing worth mentioning is that you will need the Nooie+ account for each camera which is a yearly charge that allows playback and recording.

We have two outside for our back garden and front drive. And one in our toddler room.
The app is very easy to use and we get notifications for activities outside.
The image is clear and crisp.
It’s very easy to move the camera through the app and they’re easy to set up.
We shared the access with my mother when she came to visit and it was very practical when we went out.
We also get a fair few deliveries and it’s a peace of mind to have the camera there.

The camera is easy to set up and has a great picture quality. It switches to night mode automatically, is weather proof and has motion and sound detection that alerts your phone. You can also share the cam with other family members to be able to use the app which is very useful.
Overall I am very impressed with the cam and wouldn’t hesitate to more for my home.

Nice looking device, easy to use. However it is very sensitive so if it rains then you keep getting an alarm. Also night vision is not brillant in poor conditions.

I bought this camera as another one out the front at a different angle on my drive way to my ring camera, at first with the free cloud stuff and everything working it was great, although picture quality not as good as a ring camera, you can put an SD cars in too to save the monthly subscriptions ! Perfect I thought but NOOIE DISABLE ALL THE FEATURES IF YOU DONT SUBSCRIBE TO THEIR MONTHLY CLOUD ACCOUNT AND PUT AN SD CARD IN INSTEAD ! So all the services I was used to like the wife being able to look back on events now she can’t, it’s much harder for me to look for a certain time and it’s now really hard to navigate unless I sign up to their monthly services chances are I’ll replace it with another ring camera soo
Satisfied
I decided to wait a couple of weeks before posting my review, this gave me enough time to really assess how well this camera performance. It is a similar design to the nest however this is much cheaper. I have found the day and night picture quality to be excellent (pictures attached). The Nooie support team have been kind and caring when responding, communicating with them easy. Night vision comes with LED’s however I have a street lamp not far from me which provides me with light, for this reason I opted to turn off night vision. Motion detection is excellent. The app is very easy to access, I have my camera connected to my phone and I purchased an Echo 8, the respond time is around 3-5 seconds which I think is great. I would advise you to purchase an extension lead and an extension socket (mine was a 5m socket) as my socket is further away from where I have purchased the camera. You do not need an sd card or subscription for live view, however, you will need either to view motion detection. I opted for a 32gb sandisk and the recordings then record over the original when full. I would definitely recommend this product. For me, I have had no issues, the sound quality is great and it is weather proof.
We’ve had this camera for over 1 month and thought it was time for a short summary of our experience with the Nooie Outdoor camera.
TL;DR – Over 1 month in and I’m happy to report that it works great!
Installation via the Nooie Android App was fairly straight forward although I did contact Nooie support who were very responsive and provided useful troubleshooting suggestions.
Connecting everything via hotspotting to my Samsung S21 proved that our newly installed Vodafone fibre hub was the culprit. 🙁
/I later found that the VF hub had also stopped our 2x Google Nest Mini speakers from connecting with the Google Home App but that’s another story./
Once your camera has connected to the server you are all set – you can see the live feed and easily setup any camera specific options like – set the sensitivity of the motion detection, set a detection zone, enable sound detection (and once enabled its sensitivity), set a schedule for when you want to receive alerts and when you don’t (ours is set for 24×7), etc.
The quality of the daytime and nighttime video is superb. Everyone I’ve shown the live feed and nighttime recordings to are amazed with how clear things are.
While you can store the video recordings on a MicroSD card, we chose to store our recordings in the cloud. It’s a reasonable monthly cost and should someone steal or damage the camera, we will still have the recording of the last video capture.
After the install I shared the camera feed with my wife, so that we can both receive alerts if the camera triggers when we’re out and about.
She’s very impressed with the Nooie App experience and thinks that the camera is one of our better tech purchases.
After 1 month of use, I’m definitely happy with our purchase.
I bought this camera after being recommended the Nooie 360 cam to monitor our baby while she sleeps during the day. We bought the 360 cam and it works a treat. We wanted another camera that could sit at the end of the garden, mounted on the front of our garden shed and monitor the rear of the house. (Note: You need to have a wifi 2.4ghz signal available so make sure your wifi router supports that – plus when connecting to the camera you need to make sure the mobile is on that network and frequency.)
Setting up Nooie cameras is easy, as far as I know you must use the Nooie app – we have Android which works very well and is simple to set up. First off, set up a Nooie account, which is a simple registration process – no payment details are needed. There are in-app purchase options but I will come to that later. Once registration is done, plug in the camera, whilst the phone is connected to the required wifi network and the app walks you through the set up. Once connected you can see the live feed.
The Nooie has lots of good features. It has motion detection so you can record movement events and get alerted via the app. The motion detection has 3 settings – which varies the sensitivity – either low, medium or high. The events can be recorded either on the paid for cloud, or by inserting a micro SD card. Recording onto the SD card is simple, just insert the formatted card into the enclosure and away you go. The benefit of using cloud storage is that if an intruder notices the camera and cuts it away from the mounting then you won’t be able to view the recording until you recover the SD card – if you use the cloud then those events are available independently of the device itself. So for external security usage, the cloud is a worthwhile option.
Another feature is the ability to hear sound – both of the playback but also on live feed. During live feed it is also possible to enable a speaker to talk to what ever is near the camera – in our case it is handy way of offering a cup of tea to a thirsty gardener.
The night vision is very good – the infrared lamp can illuminate up to about 15 metres and so is very clear – beyond that, visible lighting will show up well in low ambient light levels. We can see movement at the back of the house – which is around 30 meters from the camera, but at that range the detail isn’t great but it is useful. During the day light the picture is good and very clear up to around 20 metres.
Nooie offer two more great features – one is that the camera stream can be shared with another registered user and it is very easy to set up and control via the app. You can share the camera and when you don’t want to share with that user any more – you can simply unshare it. Lastly, when away from the location, you can see the live streams where ever you are. This gives great peace of mind if you are worried about a pet or about the security of the property. If I had one suggestion for Nooie that would be to allow a web based access to the camera settings rather than just via the app. Everything must be done on the app which is not in itself bad at all – the app is reliable and simple to use – but being able to have a web page while working and stream a camera feed would be really useful – especially when at work or just when the phone is a bit inconvenient. Overall I think Nooie have done a great job, at a great price. We will fit another external camera to the property to monitor the front of the house as well as another 360 cam for internal “pet dog” monitoring.

My son who has 2 of these and recommended the camera. The installation is easy and the quality of the picture is great. The editing of the motion detection area within the screen/picture works well. I have also used Nooie support who I found very supportive and helpful. I use the camera to monitor our front door entrance and where my car is parked overnight, it is very reassuring to access the real time video when away. I will purchase another to monitor my back garden!
Good quality picture feeds.
I have 4 x outdoor cameras and 1 x indoor 360 camera. I’m particulary impressed with the picture quality, especially the night vision on all the Nooie cameras which is as clear as in daylight.
The app is clean, well put together and easy to use, and allows all cameras to be viewed at the same time, which is something I was particularly after. I’ve even installed one outside at mum’s house which I can view together with all the other camera feeds as well, which is very useful to keep an eye on her house too.
I did have some issues getting the Detection Zone to work correctly when I was playing around with it, if you want to cut out detection on some parts of the screen, but I don’t use it it so not an issue for me, and I did have one camera stop working, due to a faulty plug. However, the support team resolved this very quickly and sent out a replacement. Overall I have had a very positive experience with Nooie cameras and their support team, and would definitely recommend.

We bought the camera with 2 uses in mind
1. The camera at the moment is installed inside a bedroom looking out of the window in my daughter’s house as a temporary measure for security. We have installed a memory card and it is working very well giving excellent pictures and giving my daughter the complete security she was looking for.
2. Once finished in its present position (2 to 3 months) it would be installed in a permanent position to monitor the front of our house. Should it perform in the same way then we will not hesitate to install a second one to monitor the rear of our property.

Easy to install and brilliant quality outpu
I was very impressed with the Nooie outdoor cam. It’s very compact and neat and feels like a good quality product. Very simple and easy to connect to install with a clever locking mechanism on the mounting bracket. Picture quality is excellent. Playback buffers on my iPhone 8 but is seamless on my newer iPad and wife’s iPhone 11 – think this is a problem with my phone and not the camera.
Only one minor issue is that I can only login to app from one device at a time. Just a minor irritation for me and I can understand that this is for added security.
All in all, a great product at a great price. Highly recommended.
Really reliable
Absolutely love the nooie products I now have two different types of cameras and they both work amazingly the night vision is really good you can still see everything you can in the daylight, I love the motion detection with my little one as when he naps in a different room I can keep an eye on when he’s just moving or weather he’s waking up
Good bit of kit.
Very easy install, even for someone so inept at DIY as me. Just drilled two holes in the rafters and put it in. Dead easy. Biggest problem was falling off the ladder. Twice. Also easy to connect to WiFi. Connected fine to a bt WiFi router after my 9 year old pointed out the sticker was still on the camera and he took it off. Took the sticker off and it Connected fine. Worth the dosh and I would recommend.
Camera Quality and Connectivity Are Excelle
I suspected we had a badger in the garden and went with this camera due to the fact the price was on par with wildlife cameras, it had cloud service option and could be added to our CCTV setup once it had been used for its original purpose.
In truth, I wasn’t expecting amazing things given the price and expected to have some connectivity issues due to the location in the garden being quite a wifi dead spot.
How wrong I was!
This camera connected straight away, the image quality is fantastic and night vision is excellent. I’ve been running the camera for almost a week and so far had no issues, and I’d even go as far to say that image and reliability, it is on par with my Nest Cameras (v1) for much less a price.
Physically, the only thing I can grumble about (and it is a minor grumble) is that the power cable could do with being longer.
The software is adequate though it is a little fiddly especially the playback service, and trying to sign up to the cloud service using Paypal made the app crash, but honestly, for the price this camera costs the price of the cloud service these are small gripes.
It was able to clearly show me that we do have a badger making a home in the garden and that is what I bought it for.
I have included a video of night vision footage and then some day time footage, along with a short preview of the app itself.
Honestly, this Nooie camera is absolutely brilliant and stands up against my Nest cameras (v1) for quality and connectivity, it surpasses my Nest cameras when it comes to price!

It was pretty easy to setup, it uses your Wi-Fi to setup once you’ve downloaded the Nooie app. Picture quality is not the best but I suppose for what your paying it’s ok.
I had to setup the camera on the inside of the window looking outside because the power cable is not long enough.

Great camera for the price
Does what I wanted it to do, easy to install and set up. Clear audio and video. And I thought the cloud subscription was quite reasonably priced. Changing the memory cards would be a chore. Well worth the price.
Motion delay
This is a marvellous and easy to install camera.
Picture both day and night is very good.
Only thing I knocked it back on is the delay between a notification and camera so the likes of anything triggering it is likely gone by the time it shows.
I have mine in the back garden basically to look at wild life .
Had problems but cured with new version of Nooie app
They do not connect to Wi-Fi very well even after moving the router to within 3m of the cam. The app is so slow to refresh the view when I could get a connection to be stable. I would not recommend these cameras

Update the app to the new version. Immediately saw an improvement with the connection. Had no problems with the connection issues now all seemed to be cured with the app update.

Camera works really well. Slight delay on voice but you’d expect that. Get a memory card to save videos/notifications. Night vision is better than expected. Easy to fit and easy to use app.

I have had the camera for over a month now and it has been exactly what I needed. I live on the 3rd floor of a house an wanted to watch over my car as I live on a narrow street. The camera is small and so easy to fit to where you want/need it. The bracket moves 360 so you can point it where you need it to. It’s powered by USB and that is a really nice touch, it can be plugged into any USB plug or even the facers that most people have now so it dose not take up a plug. To connect it to your WIFI is really quick though the app and you show the camera a QR code that is generated by the app itself. The image is really clear and the moving back in time though the data stored on the SD card that I have added to the camera. The app is easy to use and nice to navigate to. It also syncs with Alexa and I have my Echo Show showing me a live feed from the camera, just because I can. 🙂 Would 100% recommend it to anyone else that is looking for a stand alone camera.
Easy to use security camera
I have Nooie smart plugs which I’m very happy with so it seemed sensible to get a Nooie security camera to add to the “family”. I’m very happy with my purchase! After it arrived it was incredibly easy to setup and integrated nicely in the Nooie app that already controls the smart plugs.
With 1080p resolution, the image is very crisp and has built-in night vision capabilities for 24 hour use; being an outdoor camera it has also withstood the elements well. It has other handy features which you can switch on or off such as sound and motion detection, and of course will record audio and video which can be stored in a cloud subscription or it has an inbuilt SD card slot for local recording.
All in all, a great security camera, well priced and feature rich.

Bought a house with 2 of these installed, one stopped working but as the picture is so clear has a good app and easy to use wanted help to fix it. Contacted customer services and a very helpful Alma emailed me asking to take certain actions then agree to give a part refund for another model as we didn’t buy the original. Very happy with the product and customer service which I have high standards. Recommend this product.
Great build quality, reliable, excellent value
We’ve had a spate of people trying to get into cars parked on the front drive in the early hours and have wanted to install a HD outdoor camera for some time. After a lot of research (there are some excellent reviews of this product on Youtube) I decided the Nooie outdoor camera was the one for me. Fitting the camera was a breeze and the connection to Wifi was straight forward. I use the APP on android and its easy to set up and let it do waht suits you best in terms of motion detection, schedules, sound recording, nightvision etc. The HD clarity of recordings is excellent with 10 to 15ft. Beyond this it becomes difficult to read a mumber plate. I’ve also fitted a 20W LED PIR flood light on the same wall as the camera although the night vision, on its own, is fine. (I just prefer colour night recordings.) All in all I would thoroughly recommend this camera for home surveillance. Also, a special thank you to the support team at Nooie. I did raise a customer support query through the App and I was highly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the support staff response, particularly Enola.
I had 1 review on this previously stating it was awful. The customer service es then reached out to me to apologise for the faulty unit and replaced for free. I’m happy to report the replacement works perfectly. Video is clear, sound is good, night vision is excellent and the new app makes everything seamless. Complete opposite of what I had originally. It works and a great image
I have an indoor camera and wanted one for outdoors too. The only downside is that the camera inside the waterproof shell is fixed. With the indoor Nooie you can move the camera by dragging the image on the phone – the app doesn’t allow this facility on the outdoor camera. I checked with Nooie chat and they confirmed this. But the field of vision is good so I’m happy with it. The detection side of the app is the same as with the indoor camera.

Using the outdoor camera to keep an eye on the garden at the back of the house. Worked really well and setup was really easy to complete as well. Having used it for a month no problems to report. One of the great features of the camera is the ability to choose between cloud storage (for small additional fee) and local sd card storage or you can also do both!
Even with no cloud storage I am able to store a few days worth of live and event alert recording so available for review if you want to look back in the last few days.
The app works really well (using the ios version). The only thing that could be improved is that there is no desktop app or webpage access to the feed but i believe there are 3rd party apps that can be used though I haven’t tried it myself.
As with some other reviews make sure you have checked your wifi coverage in the area you will be installing the camera. We already have an wifi extender in place so was not an issue but I can see how not having a solid wifi connection would cause issues.
After sales support was great as I had a few questions and an issue with the fixing of the camera to a fence – the response was quick and quite detailed so really pleased.
Good value, easy to set up with reasonable picture quality
Easy to set up and install. Make sure you use right App though. Image quality is OK but not really clear at distances more that 4-5m when you zoom in. Motion sensing is a little sensitive even on lowest setting. Night vision is OK and gives clear image, but infrared lights are quite focused in centre of image and therefore less illuminated around the edges of the field of vision. App is fairly intuitive to use. I haven’t subscribed to the cloud service, just use a SD card.
Great Buy
Great buy. Well worth the money. Attached to our outside wall with a good view of our driveway and doors. Sound can be switched on and can record. Works really well with out nooie cam 360 that we use to watch our dog. Great having it all on one app.
Great value and great quality
The quality is brilliant for price. Night vision is probably clearer than the day vision. Motion detection is very good and the app responds instantly. The voice is a bit tinny but does the job. Installation was very easy. Had it all up and running in an hour. Overall this is a great little piece of kit that will deter snoopers and give me piece of mind. Well worth the money. Oy issue we had was with the app but this was resolved by downloading the new app.

Brilliant camera for the money. Great picture quality during the day and night for spotting birds and wildlife in our garden, with motion detection to protect against intruders.

The usb cable could do with being a little longer for some, but this won’t be an issue as long as you have power nearby.

Really great product. I installed this camera on my garage 2 external walls away from my wireless router and the picture quality is perfect and pings notifications as they happen with no delay.
The night vision is Crystal clear and makes an interesting watch to see what wildlife comes into the garden during the night!
The motion detection zone is also great, so you don’t have it alerting you every time a car drives past, you can set it to within a zone and you only get alerts when someone/something enters the zone.
The only improvement I would like to add would be that you are able to move the camera around like you can with the 360 cam.
Well worth the money. This now adds to my Nooie collection of a 360 Cam, the Nooie Doorbell and now the outdoor cam.

Excellent value, clear image
This little security camera offers great value for money, it has great daylight image quality and good night vision, other useful features include two way speech, alarm and a sensor that lets you know when its approached.
It is easy to set up and comes with all the required fixings.
Best value security camera on the marke
This is a very impressive piece of tech for the money, I have been using their wifi enabled smart plugs with Alexa for a while and they have proven to be very reliable so I though I would try out their security camera. The 1080p resolution provides extremely clear images during both day and with the night vision, with the infra red easily reaching the 15m they specify. It’s also extremely easy to install, even for non techies. The multi screen view is really useful if you have multiple cameras and the ability to have two way speech is invaluable when having delivery people wandering around the property dropping off parcels. I installed a 128gb SD-Card for local storage to try out the camera but will probably be moving to cloud storage in the longer term.
All in all for this price point it’s a well designed piece of tech for the money and I can recommend it highly.

Great camera, beautiful design.
This camera is excellent quality with a lovely design. The picture quality is very good and works really well with the night vision. I had some issues initially with the speaker quality and streaming speeds but the customer service was excellent and we soon had a replacement.
The only slight issue is with the talk/microphone function. It’s only really designed for small bursts of speech. If you talk for too long in one go then it can buffer a little but to be honest if I want a conversation with someone on my doorstep or while I’m at work, I’ll use the phone not through a camera.
Overall, very impressed with quality and design. Would highly recommend.
Security camera
Real good quality 1080p camera. I am very impressed with the resolution. The automatic night vision provides clarity all through the night. Motion and sound alerts are easy to set up within the app which is easy to navigate. Memory card or cloud options for storage made this decision for me.

Ordered 2 of these, came nicely packaged. Easy to connect to wifi and inserted my SD card (does not come included with the order), then connected to the nooie app on my iphone nice and easy. Will be installing onto the house next week! Picture quality looked great from testing indoors.
Top quality camera
Great little camera easy to install discreet with lots of adjustment. Really is as easy as plug and play. Just got one to try it out but will be buying more to cover others areas of the house. App is easy to use and can also be viewed on Alexa.
Having previously been very happy with my Nooie plugs purchase, I thought I would try the Nooie Outdoor Security Camera.
The camera is very solidly put together and good quality, and comes with little extras like cable clips, rawl plugs and screws. The only thing you might want to add is a microSD card if you want to use onboard storage. Cloud storage is available but I haven’t checked that out yet.
As with the plugs, I found the camera very easy to set up, following the clear instructions provided.
I’ve tested motion detection and sound detection, and both work well. The picture quality is very good, as you can see in the attached picture. Now I’ll be able to get a clear picture of the cat that is pooping in my flower bed! I’ve tested the night vision inside in a dark room, and it works well, I haven’t tested it outside at night yet.
The app is well designed, and I can use it or the Nooie home app to view the live or stored videos.
Very happy with this, and Nooie will be on my preferred list for other products they bring out.
Easy set up and great clear image
This is my first camera and I love it . So easy to use and set up and a very clear picture . I’m using this for the outside of my house to keep an eye on my garage and the picture quality is very good and so is the night vision , this was so much easier to set up then another make of camera that I had before

Easy to set up, installation of the camera is quick using the bracket supplied. The Nooie App is easy to use, I’ve not viewed motion detection / night vision but previous reviews suggest that this is good. Resolution of the camera is good, clear images.
Nooie Outdoor Security Camera - Cost effective peace of mind
The Nooie Outdoor Cam is easy to install. Everything is provided to fix the camera either to a wooden or solid support but the camera requires USB power, so you must be able to take the fixed 3 metre USB cable to a power source for the included USB mains adaptor.
Connecting the camera to WiFi should be done before installing the camera outside. For me, this was not without incident. The camera kept suggesting the WiFi password was incorrect, which I knew was false. After following the reset procedure, connection to the WiFi was finally established and it was never an issue after that.
I fixed the camera to the facia above a window and took the USB cable in through a top light. This gave me a view of my front garden and roadway. However, in this location, the street lights are so powerful that the camera’s night vision never came into play. To test the night vison, it was later installed at the rear of the property looking at the back door.
The camera covers a wide area and the motion detection is good under bright conditions. However, in dull light and at night, I found the motion detection less reliable. Notification of movement is a bit hit and miss with an SD card for recording, but may be better when sending to Nooie Cloud Storage.
Configuring the various options is easy via the Settings menu. The main settings of interest are:-
“Motion Detection” which can be toggled On/Off and tuned for Sensitivity – Low, Medium or High. I found Medium gave adequate detection without too many false alerts. A detection zone can be defined by cropping the field of view, and up to 3 Schedules can be set if you don’t need to be alerted 24/7. When motion is detected, an alert is sent to the App and a 60 recording is started. This can be viewed later via the App.
“Sharing”, in the usual Nooie way, invites another user to have access to the device.
“Storage” in which you can subscribe to a paid Nooie cloud account and also toggle Loop Recording On/Off for the SD card. Loop Recording creates sequential 5 minute recordings until the card fills up, then the older recordings are then overwritten. However, this makes for laborious trawling through files to find anything of interest and can only be done with the card out of the camera.
The example photos are snapshots from triggered video. The images are highly compressed, but reasonably clear. A car number plate can just about be read at about 20m. People approaching the premises can easily be identified and unwanted visitors, such as cats, can be monitored. We had far more than we ever realised! The trigger may be set off by flying insects, rain or snow, especially if there is an extra light source such as a modern street light or security light.
Video recorded on the SD card can be played back via the Nooie app, but there are no controls to pause/rewind etc., neither can the recorded video be downloaded to the smartphone. This is the main drawback as far as I am concerned because it means the card has to be removed from the camera to extract any information. Another option is to pay for cloud storage, but it would have been better if Nooie allowed upload to DropBox or other cloud storage which the user already has, rather than have to pay for extra, unnecessary storage.
The camera gives great peace of mind when away from the property and at night. We even knew where our postman had left a parcel before arriving home and finding his card.
Despite some reservations, I think the camera deserves 5 stars because of the facilities on offer, image quality and the prompt response of support staff to questions.

Well designed Smart Security Wifi Camera - superb value for money
Having already purchased Nooie’s smart plugs, I was already impressed with their approach to smart design and the value for money of their products. When we moved house, I had no hesitation in purchasing one of their outdoor cameras for our home security. After placing the order the camera arrived quickly the following day. The camera came with full instructions, a wall fixing plate, raw plugs and screws to attach it to the wall. It also comes with a long power lead about 2.5m long so it can be plugged into a normal wall socket.
Out of the box, the first thing was to connect the camera to the home wifi, this only took a few minutes and was straightforward following the instructions. You need to download Nooie’s app, and once connected the camera appears automatically in the app. you can then set up some of the other functions for the camera going through the settings, such as motion detection, sound detection, and your notifications.
You also are prompted to set up video recording storage either by subscribing to Nooie’s cloud storage options or by inserting a micro SD card.
Fitting the camera took about 15 minutes, drilling 2 holes and attaching the provided wall plate. The camera then rotates onto the plate and safely clicks into place, adjust the camera angle and you’re good to go! With the camera in place, you get notifications immediately on your phone whenever it detects movement or sound, and you can communicate through the camera using the built-in microphone and speaker.
Having used it now for a week or so, it’s a great bit of kit that has a sleek design and does exactly what it says it does… definitely recommend it.
Security WiFi camera from Nooie
I ordered this security camera as I was impressed with their smart plugs and needed to replace my older system, I must say I’m very happy with my choice it was easy to install and set up in fact it took longer to drill the holes to mount it on the wall than it did to set up, the night vision mode is very clear and has a siren to warn off Intruders.
Space to install an SD card or have cloud storage to save all the footage for review at a later date.
all in all I’m Very happy.
Amazing Security Wifi Camera
Bought this as I already have some Nooie products (the wifi sockets) that work really well.
The camera is super simple to set up and mount. You get all the accessories in the box. The design is nice and modern and the night vision works really well.
I have mine mounted outdoors watching the back garden and have not had any issues yet.

Good Value for money and simple to setup
Purchased one of these to replace a blink xt camera I currently use. So far i’m rather impressed especially for the price. Very simple to setup using the app available for IOS and Android (I’m using IOS) Took about 5 mins from unboxing getting the app setting up and account to get it up and running. On setup it notified me there was a firmware update which I did, not sure what it improved or added but its all running well. I’ve installed a 128gb microsd in mine so that I don’t have to pay the subscription for cloud service.
I will probably end up with a second for the front of the house shortly, 5 out 5 for value and simplicity, i’m sure there is better but doubt anything better at this price point.
Google Nest Cam killer!
I am a big Google fan and have all the devices in my home. I was looking for a camera for my garden and when I saw this on offer at Amazon I couldn’t believe the price and actually didn’t have great expectations for the device. Oh how wrong I was! The unit was well packaged, looks like the Google Nest device, sets up nice and easy with the nooie app available on both Google Play store and Apple App store and even works with Google assistant. As I say, set up was simple, the only issue I had was that the power cable wasn’t long enough to reach my power source, so I had the be creative with this part of the set up but if you have an outdoor power source you should have no issues. The picture quality is fantastic, even at night and the nooie cloud storage is good value for money and nice and easy to use. There is even an SD card slot on the camera for video storage, although this is behind a screw fastened cover which may be a little fiddly to access when the camera is in it’s permanent position on your property. All in all a fantastic camera device and definitely a Google Nest cam killer!! Also the customer service is fantastic. Response very quickly to email assistance.
Good WiFi Camera, great for security purposes
Great camera. It was relatively easy to set up, just make sure that you set it up inside the house first and pair it as instructed.
The build of the camera is graet quality, it doesnt feel flimsy and it feels sturdy alongside its mounting mechanism.
The quality of the camera is good, just make sure you have good WiFi in the area that you are going to be setting up the camera.

Great Outdoor WiFi security camera
Great product! Wasn’t expecting much for the low price but I am amazed by the quality and performance of the camera. Very easy to set up once you have downloaded the nooie app as it’s all through WiFi. I installed the camera within 30 minutes and everything you need to install is supplied in the box which is surprising. Works great with my Google nest hub max and the Google assistant. Great options in the settings of the camera, i have selected a custom motion detection area so it won’t alert unless someone is actually at the door.
The cable to the camera is USB, and is a flat style cable so will comfortably fit through the window and be able to be closed on.
Overall great product and value, I am definitely considering purchasing another.
Motion Detection initially Problematic but now fixed!
Bought this last week & put it up two days ago ….
Set up was a breeze – paired straight away without issue & picks up the WiFi really well. Everything you need is in the box – even cable clips. Easy to mount. Looks & feels neat & tidy & decent quality.
Picture quality during both day & night is excellent. App is easy to understand.
Sound detection is good – can be set to low, medium or high sensitivity, all of which work well.
BUT -THE MOTION DETECTOR DID NOT INITIALLY WORK – Even when waving a hand in front of it – although ironically it picked up the odd moth overnight. An email from Nooie’s tech department told me to do a ‘camera factory reset’ (done either on the camera itself or via the app settings). This fixed the problem & it’s now working well. I would advise purchasers to check the motion detector works prior to fitting – it’s easier to do this at the kitchen table rather than 10ft up a ladder!
I’m more than happy with the camera & the associated app – and have now purchased a second camera to monitor my garage.
Security wifi camera
Very compact design, night vision, speaker, microphone and motion detection, very usefull for front door, however i installed to test it on back yard. Was very easy to pair even with alexa, however you need echo show to see the live feed, not working on the phone with alexa. Great camera for the price.
I now have 4 of these cameras and must say I am very pleased with the quality of picture both day and night due to the infrared LED’s. It is easy to set-up and use and also has pinchable zoom on the app. The app is well designed with several customisable options including notification settings which can be based off the motion detection sensitivity. There is a “speak” option and a siren all available in the app. I tend not to use those as our dogs would be constantly setting them off. Its also nice to know that the IP66 rating protects them from all weathers although only one of mine is really exposed but has never been a problem whatever the heavens throw at it. Software is regularly update and if there are any problems the help desk is quick to respond.
I do find the sensitivity is very sensitive even on the lowest setting and am now trying out the “zone” feature to avoid nearby trees etc. They all connect very well to my Mesh wi fi system, are very good all round cameras and are being perfected all the time. One of my only wishes would have been a black or dark coloured one as white in some instances can be rather conspicuous, but I guess if people see them up they will avoid the property.

Very good quality plastic on the camera and sleek and simple design. Feels and looks very good quality. Easy installation and setup with it being USB powered and having a long cable. Easily set up on their app, you use a QR code for the camera to scan and it tells you everything you need to do. Did a firmware update straight away and has been flawless.
Linked quickly to Google Assistant and now can stream effortlessly to my smart displays.

I already have some Nooie smart plugs in the house so when searching through WiFi security cameras I saw this Nooie camera and decided to buy it. My thoughts were that if it’s as good a quality as the smart plugs it has to be good.
After a really easy installation, the app was pretty much self-explanatory and the paper instructions easy to read I had it up and running in around 30 minutes. The camera itself does feel well made and it’s small size and ingenious connection between the camera and the plastic disc that attached to the building made it really easy. Due to the cladding on the house I had to fashion an L-bracket to hold the camera in place, the light weight of the camera meant this worked well.
Picture quality Is excellent as I’ve said, and the wide angle lens means it completely covers the area I wanted it to, almost from the front door to the road, it has very good positioning ability so I managed to get it to cover just to the cars and no further (I didn’t want the neighbours to get upset thinking I’m pointing a camera into their front rooms).
I was also quite amazed by the quality of the IR video, with almost no light the picture (which dips into black and white) is still crisp and clear, it would be extremely easy to see if someone was in the garden during the night hours.

Excellent quality outdoor security camera at an amzing price poi
Build quality is excellent at any price. Fitting was easy – though note removal is hard (as it should be!) Running off SD card. Detection works well, and in latest firmware has zone functionality. Nigh vision works excellently. The app still needs some work – a few areas of usability could be improved. All this said – for the money – it is miles better than Nest or Blink type cameras.
Picture quality night and day is fab
Night vision picture quality is fab so is the day quality, I wasn’t expecting much from this but I have to be honest it’s fab for the price you can’t go wrong, and it’s really simple to set up. I’ll be purchasing a second for the side of the house to 5* very happy.
Straightforward Installation and Operatio
This camera was very easy to install (once mains power was available near the installation site), with clear instructions that were simple to follow. Once installed, getting it up and running was very easy with the app. Start to finish, physical installation and set up took no more than a couple of hours.
