Sorry to say this item is great if you are agile but not for me. Difficult to get on it (if you are elderly like me) and even more difficult to get off it.
Disappointed with purchase but I must say, my fault, I should have studied it more closely.

Not all that easy to put together but got there in the end.
Easy to assemble, looks good, comfortable reclining rocking chair. One downside..you must be fit..have working hips and knees to be able to get up.

I did note that when it rained the rain water puddled on the chair and at first I thought it would be tricky to clean because the sun came out and evaporated the water leaving the dirt. However, I just got some soapy water, tipped the chair on its side and poured the clean water on it and the dirt just washed away…no need to rub or scrub! Fantastic in my opinion. I am very pleased.

Parts of it were difficult to assemble but comfortable and sturdy.
