Genius Sensor For Perfect Cooking & Reheating Results
The Genius Sensor ensures excellent results with every meal. An advanced sensor measures the steam levels inside the microwave and automatically sets the best time. You can therefore cook a variety of dishes simply with selecting the preferred Sensor Auto Program such as fresh fish and press start. There is no need to select the power, time or weight.
Even Heating & Defrosting
Melting chocolate in a conventional microwave without burning is difficult. Baby food can be even more challenging, because you need to ensure it doesn’t have overly hot or cold spots. With our Panasonic Microwave Inverter Technology, you can heat and defrost the most sensitive foods evenly in record time.

After donkeys years we had two old panasonic geniuses die in the family both refused to heat food but would still do everything else, so we had to get a new one, this was the closest in internal size to them but in a modernized more advanced lighter package.
The buttons seem a bit tempramental with how much effort they require to activate, which is a wierd half way point on the text / number and a silver line to seperate them from each other. might take a bit of getting used to but we have.
cooks well so far at 1kw it’s quicker than our previous 800w so 10 to 20 seconds off the usual timing seems to work fine.
The only reason for -1 star across the board are as follows –
front facia front edges could be considered a bit too sharp when you accidently hit them,
the door is lower than older models so you could potentially hurt your hands and fingers made worse by the aforementioned edges.
inside there is a ‘wave guide’ plastic cover that frankly looks out of place like a packaging protector for transit purposes and the instructions to ‘ leave it alone’ aren’t very clear, thankfully i did leave it alone 😀
and at 160 quid it feels pricey but for a higher wattage and large capacity it is fair and good value compared to many others.
This mirco wave uses the inverter tech and is not a combo of grill / heating element.
will it last several decades like the others ? who knows ‘touches wood’.
This is the third Panasonic Microwave I’ve owned. Easy to use and very reliable.
Only problem with the last one was that it went rusty inside that’s why I replaced it.
We have used microwave ovens for many years, not only to reheat food and drinks, but my wife makes great desserts and cakes in it. When my old one died we looked around and found this one which had good feedback so took the plunge! It’s great with a much bigger turntable than our old unit and it’s easy to use. So far nothing to complain about, so worth a look if you are looking for a family size ove
Very pleased with this product. We prefer the white model as the black one has what appears to be a mirror on the front door. The microwave is easy to use and has just the right features for us. We can clearly see items being cooked through the transparent door window and the internal light is helpful. We are both pensioners and don’t always adjust to technology! But we have no problem with this product. pleased to recommend it.
Powerful inverter microwave that functions as stated. Can not fault this microwave. Would have preferred with a putout handle instead of the push to on feature. That’s just personal preference. Great microwave especially if you’re rushed for time.
Bought as a direct replacement for an older Panasonic that had given good service. Basic model was all that is required. Cheapest price for this model I could find at the time.
I bought this after my previous Microwave Oven became a bit long in the tooth and needed replacing. This is a brilliant oven with a comprehensive set of options. It’s a big oven with lots of space inside and easily accommodates a standard dinner plate. The instruction manual is comprehensive and needs to be read carefully to get the most out of this appliance – it also contains a lot of very good and easy recipes. Some have complained that the buttons don’t work/are hard to press to get a response. This just shows that they haven’t bothered to read the instructions. You press the TEXT on the buttons, not the icons and then they respond instantly. I’ve had this oven for just over three months and have had no problems with it. A really good purchase.
My first one of these I purchased in August18 and its a great machine but it died (non repairable) in August 2020. I replaced like for like, putting it down to being unlucky but the replacement just died March 2023.
Maybe I have unrealistic demands to expect a microwave to last more than 3 years ? Every other piece of kitchen equipment seems to manage much more.
An easy to use microwave, although, to be honest, I tend to only use its settings as full power and set a time. It seems ok to clean, although probably only needs to be cleaned if something has been overheated and splattered the insides. That has only happened to me once, when I was heating a forzen jacket potato.
Easy to use but look at manual to learn some different settings. Sensor for various items such as jacket potatoes. If you don’t want to use special settings easy to use just the basics too.
Easy to clean and a good size for larger plates or tall containers such as travel mugs ( the plastic ones).
Replaced my Panasonic microwave which was a wedding present and lasted nearly 30 years!
Would recommend. I think it was a good price and comparable to other suppliers but the delivery was quick – a couple of days.
Bought this for our Church and as we didn’t have one before . We have still to put it to good use
Brilliant piece of kit for heating food, easy to operate, easy to clean. It’s cheaper than other methods. Looks smart.
I like the inside.
Very spacious.
It can hold a full dinner size plate.
The Functions are really good.
Large capacity with space for dinner plate on the turntable. Heats efficiently. Good instructions. Would recommend to others.
Fast cooking cook’s right through To the middle 110 out of 100
The microwave was purchased on behalf of a 97 year man who is registered mind. So it is perfec
Is there an item missing? I had a Panasonic microwave, almost like the replacement model to the one I have just ordered, and with it came a framework free standing inside with a flat plasic plate for grilling bacon, etc, This new microwave didn’t have that free standing frame or plate. Was it missing when it was packed? used the one which was with my previous microwave regularly, Please let me know, Thank you.
I use it for defrosting to cooking a chicken.easy to use with range of heats
Received today, unfortunately I have not checked yet as it is a present. But sure it will be fine. I have had my Panasonic microwave for over 40years and only had to replace the bulb once.
Many options for a technophobe to manage but easy instructions. Not cheap but suits my purposes.
I have used Panasonic microwaves for a few years and like the simple operating system. The stainless interior is reasonably easy to clean and the exterior resists staining too.
Longevity may be a bit of a question as they seem to only last a couple of years before something goes wrong. It is used very regularly and I have not used another brand to compare their lifespan with.
i use my microwave alot, fast and easy to use, easy to clean, saves on energy.
A replacement for a Panasonic microwave that was still working after many years but has started to rust. Happy with my purchase.
It fits perfectly in with our kitchen and works perfectly. There’s nothing to dislike about the product.
Good quality microwave A little bit more than I wanted to pay but I use a lot of the different programs that I’ve never used before on any of the microwave and find it very easy to use
elatively easy to operate, does the job . Good promotion made it stand out and Panasonic is a guarantee of quality.
It works well. I’ve used it in more ways than the last one. But that is probably because I actually read some of the manual. Goes to show we don’t maximise the microwaves abilities. It’s simple to use.
Great microwave. A bit on the large side but that suits us. Easy to use and reliable.
Only draw back to this oven is that it stops the wi go signal working for the tv
Bought to replace a smaller microwave so we could fit a microwave steriliser inside. This is a very good size and has an excellent range of programs, including standing time, different power levels in the same cook, and good defrost options. Overall, it’s great value.
1000w is a lot of power and you may find you want to turn it down with some things so they don’t burn while other bits are still cold. I had to do this when reheating leftover tikka masala.
Aesthetic-wise it’s very bland and you can get better-looking ones at this size and power for more money.
Someone in the reviews of this product complained about the pads being poor. If you press on the writing, rather than the whole pad area they respond right away.
Very pleased with my purchase
It’s easy to use can be a bit confusing over cooking control it’s bigger than I expected but ok .
It has many more functions than our old one but seems to perform pretty well with the intuitive sensor operations. Still has the reliable 30 second button!
Very happy with the product beautiful sleek design and great selection of settings although I use basic functionality mostly
This replaced an older microwave that had begun to lose power
Being 1000 watt is helpful in shortening cooking times.
his is fantastic for warming or cooking its quick and very easy to clean Im glad I chose this model
This replaced a much older Panasonic microwave. The function of this new one is very similar to the old one so I guess it’s the direct replacement. Key for me was a large turntable so 34cm is ideal. Simple to use with presets for doing veg and defrosting. The 1000 watt power means it’s quick for warming pre-cooked food. Easy to clean and well made. Recommended.
eplaced my old one, and it is better and looks good, with no complaints or moans.
Great size to fit even largest of dishes. Unlike our previous Panasonic this doesn’t show whether the power setting is Full Power, Defrost etc. so you have to remember the wattage for each. Other than that it’s a good microwave.
Simple to use and easy to control. The auto function’s are easy to use. I like having the ability to change the power settings as most ready neals have different microwave power settings in their cooking instructions.
This replaced a Panasonic I had from 1983! The choice of functions and wattage is good. It is a nice size and easy to use.
I bought this for my new kitchen and it looks the part.
This microwave is quite big, but not heavy compared too others out there
1000w is great, even though I mostly use 800w
The display is very easy to read being daylight leds
The internal light is daylight white leds
My overall impression on looks, the ease of use, makes this Microwave a great buy 5 STARS
I’ve stuck to Panasonic microwaves over the years and never been disappointed. Reliable, simple to use and does an excellent job.
This microwave is powerful and with a small footprint so doesn’t take up worktop space. A nice clean display with easy to read options in the front panel. Highly recommended
Great value easy to use neat but spacious Love it !
This is a nice piece of kit and am over the moon with it.
Thanks.
This is a large microwave easy to use and very powerful, fast delivery.
This was purchased to replace the combi Panasonic which I had for 24 years, eventually broke down. Decided not to go for a combination but wanted equivalent turntable size so very happy.
This was bought to replace a microwave that was 3 weeks old. Nothing wrong with it but was to small. This was the size I’m used to. Easy to set up, I’ve used microwaves since 1974. Panasonic is a well known name and hope it performs like the last 32L I had for 10 years. The delivery man put in a safe place. Took me 2 hours to find it.
Standard type of microwave oven – roomy and does what it is made for. I would recommend.
Replacement for our old Panasonic.
Not so many features but just as good.
Very easy to use, brilliant-1000 w power , good value for money , love it x
Well it looks smart, functions quietly but I haven’t used it to it’s full capacity, it really is for my new kitchen when I move.
Wanted to replace my old microwave of 20 years so did a fair bit of research, wanted something close to what I had been used to without anything complicated to operate, this far reached my expectations, bigger capacity simple to use, really happy just hope it will last as long !
Excellent large microwave, 1000w power makes it easy to cook quickly, sensor seems to work perfectly so far.
Easy to use and clean. Cooks well really pleased with i
I do like this microwave. I haven’t used all the different ‘bits’ ye
GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR PREVIOUS NN-ST452W—-SAME TURNTABLE –MARKED DOWN DUE TO LESS SENSITIVE TOUCH CONTROL PANEL BUT GOOD VALUE OTHERWISE
This is our third Panasonic Microwave over a 23 year period and that alone tells you how reliable and robust they are. Last one lasted 8 years but heavy use wore it out. This one is is the updated version of our last one and would highly recommend
Easy to use .. cooks and defrosts perfectly.. over the years I’ve had a few different makes, Panasonic included .. but I’ve found Panasonic to be superior to the others.
We replaced the earlier model 14 year old Panasonic.
This one is slightly bigger capacity, for the same overall dimensions, is quieter, more modern looking, more clever in how the settings operate, yet still simple to operate.
I was very pleased how easy this microwave is to use after our last one. It is also very silent and looks good on the worktop.
What an amazing machine! Much stronger and professional than our old Panasonic microwave. With Inverter technology it does a better idea and faster job. What more can I say?
Excellent Microwave. Supplies by Avensys. Very reliable supplier. Gilt edged customer service. Very happy with this purchase.
Bought this to replace old panasonic that finally gave up the ghost. Previous one was a combi unit but this one is a straight inverter unit. Good build quality but note most panasonic products are made in china.
Very pleased with performance so far.
I had this one before never had a problem with it so I ordered the same one again it’s great all plates fit it’s easy to clean and easy to use well worth the money
here are no cracks in the inside edges so no place for rust to enter through condensatio
I liked my first Panasonic so much I eventually replaced it with a similar one. The controls are so easy to use. The power button and door closing mechanism are so smooth. The one option I really, really miss is the ‘Porridge’ button and I preferred the options indicated with letters rather then numbers.
We’ve had Panasonic microwaves for years. So easy to use and very well built.
If you are looking for a microwave oven with size and ease of use -‘this is the appliance for you. It is easy to see and feel the quality and learning the controls took a matter of minutes. This was the case even though the oven has some advanced controls. A thoroughly good machine which was delivered unbelievably quickly – in superb condition!
I’m happy with this. Please make sure you have room though- it’s huge. Really big and it needs some clearance for the vents ect. I had to drag this more forward on my worktop than my old one as it made the plug area warm, my old one didn’t reach the plug. Just something to consider.
It’s very light though. Much lighter than my old 20l one.
It’s 1000w so it’s cooks quickly.
My favourite feature is the ‘sensor reheat’. It analyses the amount of steam to perfectly reheat/cook without you adding times or weights.
I also like the strangely named ‘chaos defrost’ – I defrosted mince without it cooking on the outer edges.
Of course it also functions like a traditional microwave too and it’s easy to manually add the time. (Press power, add time, press start).
Very happy with it. The booklet provided shows you how all the features work and there’s some recipes as well.
Replacement for its previous version which lasted 8 years. This one doesnt seem to have a mid heating delay/pause optiin.. ie cook 4 mins, rest 1 min, cook final 2 mins. Mind you the previous versions time units programed wrong.. ie 1 min became 1 hour!
Overall the microwave does its job.
Like most of these things it has many options for meals etc etc that are too complex to use without reading the manual. The one feature I use a lot is the Quick 30 secs feature – for maybe warming a cup of coffee.
Put the coffee in the microwave. Press Quick 30 and Start.
At the end of the 30 seconds it stops, open door. Can’t see the coffee cup! It’s right at the back – the Quick 30 seconds does x revolutions and a half. Every time. And it’s a big microwave. From my height I can’t see the mug at the back.
A few times I’ve done this and been distracted. Later, put a meal in. Cooked it. Discovered that the previous mug was still there, at the back, un-noticed.
Why do that extra half revolution for the quick 30 seconds?
Obviously not really thought about or user tested.
This model is not as customer friendly as our previous Panasonic Microwave press pads not as positive
The door assembly not as good a fit as our previous model ,casting some doubt on the efficiency of the door seal.
It is a great size and cooks vegetables quickly and economically. Not just for reheating. It saves on Gas taking ages to boil water for veg’. At first the controls and manual look overwhelming but stick with it, it is worth it. I hope this lasts a lot longer than the 3 I have had to get rid of in 12 years.
Replaced a similar model, this one without the grill though. Powerful and efficient defrosting, cooking and heating …. with nice clean lines too.
I was replacing my old Panasonic microwave, which had given excellent services for many many years. This one is perfect too.
Once you get the hang of the all-computer controls, using the above-average helpful instruction/guide booklet, this is a good microwave that works well. It is also easy to clean.
One very frustrating thing is setting the clock and cooking times. To correct the time on the clock, even by a minute or so, it is necessary to go back to zero and start all over again. When setting a cooking time, you have to be quick as there is too short a while in which to do it or, again, you have to start all over.
Slightly complicated indication of power levels.
Casing very basic (compared with similar model it is replacing)
Good size and power for everyday family use.
I have been looking for a basic Large capacity microwave like I used to have. This brillia
quite noisy compaired to the previous model
like the fact I no longer need to weigh the jacket potatos
nice microwave
Nice looking microwave, much lighter than our old defunct machine. It is spacious and easy to keep clean. The controls are clear and straightforward . Instructions helpful. More expensive than many but I am hoping that the Panasonic reputation holds up and makes it worthwhile.
Disappointed to find that it was made in China
I,ve purchased this make and model for the 3rd time, we have 3 homes and I keep going back to buy the same one, because its simply the best in choosing the simplicity of using it, the quality of the microwave is sturdy and easy to clean it looks nice in brilliant white and keeps it brightness as it gets older. It cooks quickly as reheats food super fast. I can’t fault i
The Panasonic Microwave is not heavy to handle, good instructions and heats food correctly. Adding her the interior measurements in answer to a query I received some time ago. Height-8 inches. Width- 13 inches. Depth- 13 & 1/2 inches. Hope these sizes are useful to enquirer.
Really happy so glad to have purchased this our old one died and this was as near to like the one we had.
It has a very good defrost option. I defrosted uncooked prawns at 100 watts for 10 minutes. It did an excellent job!
Very well made and impressive to look at.
The best microwave ever. it’s big inside, super fast and food cooks like a normal oven.
Obviously it is bigger than a usual microwave, but not enormously.
We had a Panasonic microwave for many years, it was reliable and always did what we required. Bought this new model, again very well made and has so far been exactly what we wanted.
A good product, that we found the best price for on Amazon and delivery was excellent.
Very early to use and to clean, well done Amazon…
I had the same microwave before, however the previous one had a fan assisted oven inside. I thighut this was the same one as they look the same and have the same power. It wasn’t until I tried to cook a jacket potato before I found out it didn’t have the oven part. It doesn’t matter as it turns out my wife doesn’t like hard skin on the potatos anyway.
I purchased one of these from John Lewis as it was just what I needed, a standard large 32L Microwave.
This listing on Amazon states it’s a Combonation Microwave which is incorrect and misleading. However my previous one was one and I only used it as a Oven/Grill once in 11 years as it got too hot, I will only buy a standard microwave from now on.
Put this to immediate use. As it’s more powerful than my previous Panasonic I have to lower cooking time. If it lasts as long as my old one is will have no complaints
