Bought to replace a very old Panasonic bread maker as its bucket had lost its surface meaning loafs stuck. One criticism is the angle of the control panel. It’s almost horizontal meaning you have reach over to view. Old machine was better.
However the loafs are nice and with two shakes come out of the bucket.
Can’t rate timer as not used and flavour is down to ingredients not the machine.
Easy to use fast bake if you need it does everything an amateur like me expects from a bread/cake maker (well over 70 hrs old)
Easy to use, breadmix in, water in, select appropriate programme, walk away (ensure its not right on the edge of the worktop) return when finished to an amazing smell and a lovely loaf.
**Paddle is designed to have some play on the shaft, some reviews put this as a fault but it’s made that way**
I’m a dyed in the wool Panasonic fan and this new machine doesn’t disappoint. Didn’t quite get my recipe correct with my first loaf but the second one was a triumph. Light, well risen and not too dense. Nut dispenser works well and the whole thing is very easy but you have to stick to the order as written when adding the ingredients. The pan and the paddle are coated so nothing sticks badly. The size of the machine is bigger and a bit bulky and there are programmes I’ll never use but I wanted the nut dispenser so had to purchase this model. It’s a good buy overall.
Comes with recipes so made my first loaf easy to make. Very pleased with this bread maker altho I have no experience with any other! Easy to use and clean and makes a delicious loaf, in fact on at the moment!
On first use, I was very disappointed by what appeared to be a pointless (almost) 2 hour ‘rest’ at the beginning of the program. I still don’t know what that’s for, but I do know that using exactly the same ingredients, it makes a vastly superior loaf to the previous machine I owned (which seized up after years of service).

This is an excellent, quality machine that makes lovely bread. Have tried most recipes, white basic, quick white, brioche, raisin and wholewheat rapid. Tried the French bread recipe (6hrs) but found that the same recipe using rapid white (2hrs) came out just as well. All came out really well but for me the tastiest is the rapid wholewheat using granary flour. Thanks Panasonic.

Wife moaned and moaned for a bread maker because she is the laziest person in the world. Since the purchase this bread machine is used twice a week. i would advise NOT to use the recipe book because the recipes are more miss than hit.
The machine is extremely large so you will need a place to store it when not in use. The mixing and timer is spot on. Once the bread is ready it will beep. Removing the bread is extremely simple, oven gloves on remove the container. the bread will slide out of the container (we have made over 40 of them and the bread EVERY TIME slides out).
Cleaning it is extremely easy, all I do is use a piece of kitchen towel and just wipe the inside. The container is so clean its unreal apart from a few crumbs. if you plan to not use it frequently you can always use a sponge some washing up liquid and clean, very easy and there are no parts making it hard to clean.
We purchased the one with the nut dispenser and it works a treat, as well as adding fruit to the mix.
Apart from the size this machine is a+, i would ONLY advise in purchasing this if you plan to use it on a regular basis. if you dont it will be yet another appliance that sits gathering dust. The idea behind this was to stop the wife moaning and to produce our own bread without all the added extras you find with supermarket bread.
When the old bread maker finally broke down, we replaced it with a different make ….. bad mistake. We sent the new purchase back, and bought another Panasonic ….. good decision. Easy to use, and a nice loaf every time.

After a couple of years struggling with the bricks from another brand of breadmaker, I have gone back to Panasonic and am so glad I did. The bread always turns out as expected, and the paddle hasn’t stuck once!
Made two loaves so far a white and a malted grain both perfectly baked. No fuss just put the ingredients in and take the loaf out. Organic fresh bread for less than a standard supermarket loaf.
Went for the mid-range option.
Fairly easy to use and great results (so far, still going through the various types)
