This proved such a successful item in my old house, I’ve now installed in my new house. It was easily put into a composite panelled uPVC door. My daughter has the same model for her dog too. Very happy with the product.
Fits a upvc door perfectly. A bit fiddly to install but seems sturdy. Lost a star for the plastic screws, will be replacing them with metal when I get a chance. If getting the medium size note you won’t be able to slide the grey cover in due to the panel at the top of the door. We got around this by cutting the cover in half and sliding each bit in by itself. Works fine.
Easy to install, looks good and does the job. Much better than the plastic one I had before.
This was bought to replace a cheaper dog flap that was 24 and completely plastic which over a couple of years became brittle and broke up though constant use.
While this one is quite a bit more expensive, it is absolutely worth the extra money as it’s a lot more robust and better made (I should have bought this one in the first place.
On the plus side it looks a lot neater than the cheaper version and stops the wind blowing in (something the old one did ok but not as good as this one).
The only slightly negative thing was the long plastic screws that bolt both sides together can be easily cross threaded when attaching to the metal lugs so recommend that you be very careful when initially screwing them together BUT they are are necessary as after everything is screwed up tight, you simply snip off the excess thread with a pair of snips to make the plastic bolt flush to the outside.
Overall well worth the money…
Replaced a smaller one. Nice flexible panel with good seal. Well made sturdy frame. Debatable whether bolts should have been metal not plastic (much easier to cut off).
This was a replacement kennel flap. I decided to go for the same brand. The outer cover is plastic whereas the previous one was metal. Screw fixings are plastic whereas previous flap had metal screws. It will be interesting to see how the plastic screws hold up. At least they won’t rust!
Brilliant item. Easy to fit in a PVC door. VERY sturdy and feels secure.
Shame our dopey Miniature Poodles are apparently afraid of the flap itself, so we’ve removed it for now while they get used to hopping in and out! No fault of this item, we’ll train them soon enough!
Definitely recommend. Our dogs are 6kg and it’s a perfect size, easily fit a bigger dog or cat.
Easy to install. You need to make the holes slightly bigger for the bolts to countersink and fit onto the plastic screws. Fitted perfectly to a UPVC door (ie door thickness). Better if there’s two of you to work both sides of the door!
Easy to install ,draught proof , dogs love it they’ve never had a flap before so when they tried it out two heads were poking through they were both trying to get in togethe

We have goats and I learnt layers pellets can cause bloat and kill them. So went online to find a way for my 4 chooks and their fella to still have freedom while my goats were also loose.

2nd door for me. Replaced large door with this medium one. Dogs love it, total, independence for toileting and just being nosey! Piece of mind when out that dogs are able to go out in the sun. I have cameras and high secure fence and feel perfectly at ease. This is a strong design and is used by 2 schi tzus! Previous large one was in constant use by 26 kilo staffy. Lasted 9 years with no problems.
I love the product works so good no chance of the pet getting its leg caught in the door as can be with some flaps also we had a massive storm the rain was lashing and not one drop got in I was amazed.

My dog flap turns up slightly damaged. I contacted the retailer (not Amazon) and their customer service was as good if not better than I ever received. New parts on way and yes I would very much recommend this door !!
These are the best dog flaps you can buy. Might cost a little more but they are strong. Last for years and do not make any noise like the banging that the cheaper plastic ones do.
As others have mentioned it sometimes opens with high wind, just a little nudge seems to close it again so not a massive deal for me. Dog took to it pretty much straightaway, so much easier than getting up and down constantly to open the door for her!!! Overall a good buy

This pet flap, was easy to install and works great for both my dog and cat.
Its very quite when they come in/out of the flap not like the plastic flap which are very noisy .Also I like the fact that you can change the plastic flap and not the whole thing.
