We just received this kit to spend some more time with my daughter while we are at home. The kit package is really small and they included everything necessary inside. But one of the pots inside the box was broken which I needed to find another solution other than using that. My daughter enjoyed plantation and she is curious and asking everyday about when we will get crops.
I bought this last year for my dad bought him and my aunty one this year they loved them so much for the allotment they grew pretty quick and tasted lovely

Was a gift. The bloke I got it for likes gardening and growing veg and I think he probably liked it but obviously when you give a bloke a gift they don’t act excited or smile so it’s hard to tell. I’d like to think he broke out into song when I left about how good the gift was though

The instructions were easy to follow and planing the seeds was easy. Time will tell whether they grow or not but they said they had great fun setting it up. Would high recommend as a small novelty gift for anyone .

Gave this to a work colleague as a Secret Santa and she was very pleased with it, She has several years growing her own veg on a large allotment and is looking forward to growing these. Time will tell how well they turn out, but as far as the contents go, it seemed worth the money I paid on Black Friday (half price).
Bought it as a part of someones Christmas present so can’t tell anything about the flavour etc but it came very quickly, a little smaller than what we expected but still think good price ,nice box and all nicely explained . Will definitely buy again from this place again . Thank you

Bought for presents loved the idea of fun veg and grow your own bonsai for the friends that I have bought them for. They look good lets hope they grow well.
The product arrived on time and I am very pleased with it. Everything that should be in the box is there. It is a fun birthday gift for my daughter. Everything should be grown in the spring so she hasn’t started growing the vegetables yet and therefore hasn’t tasted them yet.
I saw this an it is the perfect gift for a friend with a courtyard garden. So I will not be growing this. The delivery was fast and communication great.

what can I say its a small box with 5 tiny pots,5 packets of seeds, dirt and plastic tabs, cant say what the outcome of growing them because its a gift and the results wont be known til at least next year.

Was a great gift for a keen gardener (mum) that has everything. Only strating to sow the seeds, so cant comment on the end product. Did think the packaging was a bit excessive for just seeds and composer pots.
I was a little underwhelmed with this set, you only got cardboard pots and it seems a bit cheap but I suppose you only need small pots to start growing. You will need to buy other products as it grows

Great gift idea for adults, young and old alike. I bought one for my Aunt and one for my best friend and they both loved them, came a little smaller than expected but still full of everything needed to get started.
This was a gift so I cannot comment on the use of the product. It arrived in good condition and recipient seemed happy with the novelty idea of this.

It dosent come with the pot as shown on the front cover. I would think that this is the only flaw about the product. You have 3 different tree types to grow witch is nice. Makes a lovely gift for Christmas .
Bought as a gift for my friends who love growing things in their garden.
They were really pleased with it – has some great looking unusual things to grow in there.
Just a word of advice – white cabbage butterflies love to eat the sprout plants (brassica family) so you need to cover them with net if you can before they eat them all!
I cannot rate this product in much detail as I bought it as a gift and the nature of Bonsai involves time and patience but I can say that the instructions were clear and the box contains all that is needed to start cultivation and care of Bonsai trees. I would say it is a good starter kit.
Ideal gift for someone who has everything. A comprehensive kit with everything needed to grow these tomatoes. There are five seeds for each variety and ours have all started to grow except for one variety which has only grown two of the seeds. I hope they all produce fruits though as they are quite unusual.
Gave these to my mum for Christmas. She was extremely please to receive such a “Funky”present. She will be planting these out shortly and has expressed a desire to buy other products from the range of the supplier and give these a go. Highly recommended
I bought this for my son and daughter in law fir a Christmas gift, as they have just had their first year in their new home and are avid gardeners growing their own vegetables. I purchased this with the Psychedelic Salad kit as they look to be quirky and a fun thing to grow next year. Until they are used I cannot comment on how successful they are to grow but I am sure they will love the novelty of this. The delivery was quick and not surprisingly it is a small box (I don’t know why but I did expect it to be bigger) however when you consider the contents of small pots n seeds, it couldn’t be any bigger. Overall I am happy I chose this and will look forward to their comments next year. Its something different for garden lovers to grow!
I currently have more funky vegetables than garden space. This was bought as a Christmas present and there is much more in the kit than expected. I did not follow the instructions from the box (ie I did not use the small pot provided to start) and this has caused me to get rid of the competitive exclusion which otherwise would have been faced by the plants so now I have twice as many thriving plants than expected. Excellent kit.
Although the pesky slugs had a nice meal of some of the other plants the slug pellets we used on the tomato plants worked a treat.
Very happy with the product, can’t wait to eat a tomato!
Update 1st December 2017. All of the seeds grew and my mum got vegetables from all the plants, bar one – she is being patient and hoping for some next year! She and I were really pleased with this gift.
This was bought as a present and looks to be good value. No ‘crop’ for a while yet but looks like it will be a good one.
We planted it in the summer just gone and I must say, it was pretty cool for various reasons..
It got us to be gardeners and every day when it grew a little bit more, we were super happy to see a vegetable patch coming to life.
Some of the veg weren’t as colourful as we had expected from the box but, still a nice little kit to get some excitement brewing
Bit of a novelty for myself (And black friday sales).
I liked the idea of growing it myselfhowever when recieving it the instructions are very vague. If you have never done it before then you will definately struggle. I had to resort in watching videos from people with the same set to learn what to do.
Thought the product would be bigger, however makes a great gift for Christmas as a stocking filler. I bought this during the black Friday sale, so would be hesitant to buy it at full price… But still a nice gifting idea that’s different to the usual gardening gift.

Some time later I now have three pines, two maples and six silver birch, might take some time before they look like the plants shown on the box!
Bought these for my father in law for xmas as he loves planning and growing veg and fruit. He absolutely loved it and he planned them a couple of months back and as far as I know they are growing fine.
Quirky gift for an eccentric gardener, lots of other varieties available too, yes maybe you could get the individual parts separately at a cheaper rate but such a fuss when this is what it is, a great little gif
Bought as a present. Excellent idea for a tomato grower-lover. Unusual kind of tomato seeds is a bonus. However I was told, that one packet of seeds of yellow tomatoes (Taiko) was missing…How disappointing!
Great product but the contents as in the peat pots are a lot smaller than I was expecting. Not an issue really though, as the plants will not be affected by this. In the process of growing these now in my allotment and really looking forward to my wild and fun veg to come up!
I purchased this for a colleague who had started to express his love for Bonzai trees and how he’s always wanted to grow one. So I thought I’d get him this and you should’ve seen his face and the excitement!
Although I would say, if you know nothing about Bonzai’s like me then I’d do your research! There is a lot of preparation work you have to put in for the first few months to make sure they have a chance of growing, you have to be very dedicated!
I purchased this as a gift for 2 friends over Christmas and was lucky enough to get it on a flash deal. The packaging and reviews attracted me to it. Obviously I can’t comment on how well they have worked as it is only a few weeks since we have purchased it but we were very impressed by the inclusions, and the price. If they all germinate they will make a wonderful salad. I am planning to purchase another set for us when we move full time to somewhere with a garden. Lovely gift, and great value
Gave this as a gift to my dad so there’s a very good chance it’s still in its box somewhere in his house but it arrived quickly, in perfect condition and looked great, I would have been very pleased with this gift as I love the idea of growing some things that are a little different but I am yet to keep anything plant based alive for long enough to get any food off it. If I see it at my dads I might steal it back and give it a go or might just order another one!
None of my seeds sank but I planted them anyway. Ten days later and three of the seeds have sprouted. I would advise soaking them and ignoring whether they sink or float – just plant them. The soil comes in circular blocks which expand when soaked. This worked perfectly. Generally, I really like this product.
We have only just planted the seeds so I don’t know what percentage of them will grow but I bought this as a gift and it was perfect. Everything as described, easy to understand and use, plenty of instructions and info for anyone who might not have tried gardening before. Great gift.

This came really quickly, is a little smaller than expected but everything seems great. It was packed well and the box wasn’t bashed at all, I checked inside to make sure everything was okay as people had complained about it but everything was fine and it was all there. A great birthday present for my step dad!
These are in the soil as we speak. I bought them for my other half for xmas and he thought they were good. We will see when they grow. Well package and arrived in good time. Only problem was, I didnt check to see the postage I had chosen and ended up paying around 20 odd pound s for them. Not worth that but, if they grow that will be something.
I bought this kit for my parents for Christmas and they love it! As it’s winter they have not yet planted the seeds so I can’t say how the end produce has come out but the kit looks amazing. It is packed full of interesting veg and gives you helpful tips and everything you need to start planting awesome veg! Highly recommend for an interesting pressie idea or if you just want some funky veg!

Bought as a stocking filler for my dad (son’s grandad), who is an avid gardener. Hopefully they can plant them together when the season comes and they can watch them grow.
Delivered on time (even though I wasn’t in, had them redelivered to my local post office as I couldn’t be bothered queuing at the sorting office. The only down side to online shopping I guess! Packaging was still pristine.
