Its great for facial recognition to open your playstation, it can be used for hand gestures and has a built in mic.
It can be used for streaming and has to be used if you want to get a PSVR.(although you cannot stream and use the PSVR at the same time)
It has fast delivery, it came in mint condition, it’s easy to setup, it can be bent to fit on top of every tv and also could be bent into a stand that can rest down on anything.
Overall great product with lots of features, I would not buy this if you don’t plan on getting a PSVR. Please do some research before you buy one.

Works great but as i have amazone prime as was expected much faster delivery time… estimate time was in 2/3 days but it came in 6 days …
This camera is so easy to set up and use.
Just plug it in and away you go. Its great if you are a twitch or youtube streamer, and even better if you get a green/blue screen behind you as the ps4 lets you edit that out so you have no background.

Fun to use with games as it takes your picture and adds to the game.

Great item! son is very happy , didn’t come in a box or anything as it’s used but it looks great and is working fine ! And everyone else’s internet is super slow while my son streams his face on his games he’s playing ! Happy dayz!

it was ok quality, didnt expect much from it. does its job well by capturing my moves for motion sensored games

I bought the PS4 for my Grandaughter in March and I have not heard her complaining in fact the opposite !!
Fast delivery, tried it once so far doesn’t always pick you up , will try to use again to see if any better. Smaller than thought but looks good
Great product but be aware to get the most out of the unit it wants to be mounted 50cm off the floor to get the effect and a good field of view. My tv is mounted on the wall and well above this height. It does and still works but narrow field of view

Prefer the Xbox kinect over this as it’s so small and pretty tough to to attach to any TV. Still does its job. Again son loves it now his friends can see him and vice versa. It keeps them happy so I am happy.

The camera has 2 lenses which cover a wide area and a microphone in between the lenses. I’ve used it with just dance and it works great. It needs to be positioned around 5 foot high and you need to stand around 6 feet away from the camera. The camera holder also allows you to tilt the camera up and down which is great for capturing the area you are in. This camera is also required for the VR system. It’s value for money.

Received this very quickly, set it up straight away, and my nieces and nephews loved playing on PlayStation playroom, it is a lot of fun.

10 out of 10 money well spent hrs of fun ….so far…long may it continue.
Works well, not had any problems using it.
Only criticism would be that the wire between the camera and the PS4 does interfere, so you have to adjust it to keep the camera in place, which can be fidgety.
Brilliant – you can also use it instead of headphones !

Got it for the PSVR. Very impressed at how well it tracks the headset and controllers.
A must buy for the vr headset , bought as a bundle so price was a bit more reasonable!
Obviously this is essential for the PSVR which is why we bought this. hopefully one day sony will update the PSVR and/or PS$ to allow 2 cameras to aid in better tracking when looking behind in games.
Exactly what you would expect great product, supplied TV clip is quite small apart from that fun fun fun.
Its a nice and compact camera and picks up speech very well, but the way the camera fits together feels very cheap.

VR : An extra goes with my play station. A great invention both fantastic and realisation many hours of pleasure.
quick delivery, easy to set up and includes a stand so it discreetly sits on top of my TV.
Great product and awesome for live streaming, just a shame you can’t use it to record YouTube videos but that’s a PlayStation problem not the cameras
What is there to say , it does the job that its made for , in my case in conjunction with the PSVR, it sits there quietly and does what it supposed to do…. lol .. you can’t ask for more than that !!

Expensive set up – but excellent. The setup instructions were very good. Setting up was a doddle. I was surprised by the amount of cables but I assume due to performance this can’t really be wireless. The Demo CD that came with this did not work correctly until I downloaded some updates. It is sometimes difficult to position this correctly on your head, but once in place you are immersed.
There were a couple of games that I was not comfortable with (gave me motion sickness) but the underwater exploration was unbelievable. It is quite and investment but I feel it is worth it as long as new media continues to be created. You can also view 360 Videos on youtube etc.
Not much to say really, like the old camera just restyled and looks better. Great service from Amazon as per usual

Yeah it’s good, but there seems to be some issues with how far I need to sit away from it for certain VR games!
Purchased this for the VR as its essential in order to use the VR headset. So far so good, not had any issues so far.

looks minimalistic, working as it should. don’t need to buy tv holder, some kind of it is included. other then design, specs are the same as in old design. have build in also microphone

Got my VR Headset and working great so far, nice and easy to set up
Camera is fab and works aswell as it should. Nice and slim line. Takes up hardly any space. Ordered this just before christmas and recieved it 2 days later.
The camera is good – not amazing – if you try to use it for example for Just Dance – it works some times and sometimes it just doesn’t work.
It was a gift for my 6yrs old son. He loves it!!!!
I’ve given 5 stars because it came earlier than expected, It looks brand new and seems to be the right one. Looks to be the real deal. I won’t know anymore until it has been tried and tested by my son on xmas day. 😀

Great value, excellent product and would recommend it to anyone who has a playstation console.
Very clear picture quality – so glad I managed to get the newer version for a lower price. Using this with the VR headset and a Tesco deal on the PS4 slim. Shame that there isn’t a pan feature on the stand, however you can easily turn it. It would help as I using it next to a XBOX kinetic.
There isn’t much you can say for this PS Camera. It’s the exact same thing as the older one so you’re not getting anything extra if you purchase this and already have the older version. The image quality is grainy and the motion tracking is so-so (VR and Non-VR). I guess it does the job it’s meant to do (for VR).
The clip stand that comes with it sits nicely on a flat table, but was finicky when it came to placing it on my tv (tucking it behind the tv). I have managed to balance it using my the center channel speaker from my surround sound (will try to post pix of this later).
I bought this to use with PSVR, and have written a full review of the PSVR on Amazon where you would probably get a better idea on whether you should purchase this or not.
For those who are thinking about going for this newer model, you’ll be pleased to hear that a stand/clamp is included in the box, unlike the older model which required an additional purchase.
The PS4 camera without the PSVR I personally found to be not that special: Whilst I’ve never regretted purchasing the original model on release, I only really used it for face recognition and although it had voice control abilities, I never used that feature. In addition, the game library for the PS4 camera alone was never that strong.
Now the PSVR has come out, it has breathed life into the PS4 camera as it’s a required add-on.
The camera is very easy to set up: It slots right into the included clamp which allows it to be mounted on top of your TV or acts as a stand. The cable length is approximately 2m which should be suitable for most set-ups.
Within my experience of using this camera with the PSVR, tracking is generally really good, especially the VR headset which seems to be spot on every time. Motion controllers can come off-track at times, but you’ll find for the most part, tracking is very good, even in low-light which I’m very pleased about.
Long story short, if you don’t have an old/new PS4 camera already and plan on getting the PSVR, then this is a must have. If you don’t plan on getting the PSVR, then see whether there is enough features to make the purchase worthwhile.
Really good new design, works perfectly and i would recommend it over the old one. It looks a lot better.
Was sceptical before I bought this, but upon trying it, all I can say is wow!! Hopefully this is more than just a phase & developers get on board, but a great experience none the less. I just hope it’s not an expensive paperweight in months to come

Works a treat. Recommended and a “must have” for PS4 VR anyway.
Nice and neat, mounts well on top of TV, doesn’t look ugly (better looking than older cam) and does the job (with PSVR here!).
Only slight quirk is the thick cable and pull it if you mount it low instead of clinging to the top of the TV but you’ll live 😉
