Purchased a VR for a Christmas present. Didn’t know needed motion sticks for some of the games. No stock available at Sony or other high street retailers. Over RRP, but obviously had no choice!
Product description says batteries required as no supplied with unit, so wasted 20 on them only to find the controllers do have batteries.
Nice feel to the product and certainly a quality item but come on guys, having to unscrew the things to check batteries are present is NOT ok especially as the screws are tiny and need specialist drivers to remove them.
Update the description please
Generation 2 motion controller. I got the twin pack which came in original packaging with both controllers and 2 wrist straps. Doesn’t come with charger but does state on the purchase that it is just the controllers. For anyone looking to buy they are genuine and are completely brand new if that was the option you selected. Hope this helps for anyone worried from previous reviews.

Bought as a Christmas present and looks amazing! It’s to be accompanied by the VR, however there are other games you can play without the VR, but these tend to be the old PS3 games which you can possibly still play on ps now with a subscription fee. It does not come with a cable, but any cable you use to charge the dualshock remotes with will do just fine to pair & charge. It works great & came in its box just as the pictures with straps included.
