Great product despite the negative reviews .
The steam brush have to be use at direct contact with the surface and have to be use slowly, it is not an Hoover.
You need to consider the heat dispersion!
This two key point (Distance and speed ) are fundamental for the best results otherwise you will be disappointed.

Excellent for all round house my wife will only use this for ironing love’s it floor windows does it all 1st one we had was twice this price 20 years ago was over 400 pounds
This is my third Polti machine in 20 years. I first had the smaller green one, then the larger blue one. They didn’t last and I wanted to know how much the current would cost me beyond the 2-year guarantee period, so I also purchased an extended warranty to cover me for 5 or 7 year (with Domestic and General). I can’t remember now but that was about 8 years ago, I’ve not had any issues with this machine except a couple of attachments gave up the ghost, but replaced under that warranty.
This machine is really powerful. Much more powerful than the others and also than the Karcher I bought a couple of years ago. I use all the attachments. I also have the iron attachment which gives great results. So much better than a stand alone steam iron, and no need to buy a steam generator
From ironing to blasting dust out from behind radiators to sparkling disinfected floors without chemicals. (that said, I do use it with cleaning products for some things). Watch the cheesy video on youtube for ideas.
I’d recommend buying extra sockettes, but using different (thicker) cloths for the floor attachment.
This is a great machine gets into every nook and cranny makes everything clean and fresh
hard work but freshens the house up would most likely get a wash vac in future
The price probably means this is aimed at a more professional market but I beleive it is worth paying the extra for something that works.

I have all the accessories from my old machines including (3) irons so I will definitely be making full use of them all, but after spending a good few hours with it this afternoon I can’t fault it !
I knew I’d made the right decision as soon as I saw the quality of the machine.
I have owned a karcher sc3 in the past I hated it, and it looks like a toy compared to this
Don’t waste your time with the cheaper model floor mops, if you can afford it get one of these. they have masses of steam which is powerful. You also have the option to purchase a number of additional accessories you need for the job.

I’d recommend buying the Calstop at the same time as it does prevent lime scale build up. All in all if you’re thinking of getting a steam cleaner, I’d recommend this one as the quality is superb.
My reason for purchasing a Polti over other brands was that I’d owned one previously (about 20 years ago). The performance was outstanding and it lasted around 8 years even with almost daily use. Unfortunately when it broke I didn’t have the funds to replace it so bought a cheaper hand held model which quite honestly was a waste of time. I’ve dabbled for a few years with steam mops but really missed the flexibility of a cylinder steamer.
So, after Christmas I decided to treat myself (and my house!) to a new steamer. I did a lot of research into the different makes & models and pretty quickly decided it must be a Polti and the Eco Pro had consistently good reviews so decided to take a chance with this one.
And I’m so glad I did!
The build quality is excellent, very sturdy. It has a large tank which operates for around 40 mins constant steam (enough for me to clean my kitchen floors, work surfaces, cupboard doors, cooker, windows & patio doors).
The attachments are very easy to slot together – it’s supplied with plenty of attachments for every cleaning job.
Operating the cleaner is easy. Fill the tank using the funnel supplied. Plug in & turn on the power… It takes about 5-10 mins to heat up a full tank. Decide which attachment you need, lift the attachment cover on the machine & slot in.
I also purchased the Polit iron accessory & easily breeze through a good couple of hours ironing without needing to refill the tank.
When the water has run out, you get an audible buzz. Turn the machine off & wait until the safety device releases the screw top before refilling. Cool down usually takes around 10-15 mins (enough time to have a quick cup of tea before continuing your cleaning!).
I find it fantastic for windows, bathroom tiles, bath, toilet, hard floors, mattresses, upholstery, cooker, cupboards… Basically I steam clean anything that can be cleaned!
One of the best things about steam cleaning is not having to use harmful chemicals – especially good if you have pets or children (or like me, both).
I had one for 15 years,and when it died tried to live without it-big mistake.
Using It is like using professional cleaners, money well spent.
This machine is absolutely first class for stripping wallpaper. I have been using it this week and the old wallpaper just falls off like snow, even though it has been painted over with waterproof vinyl paint.
UPDATE. I have downrated from 5 stars to 1 star because after using a full tank I discovered that the “water out light” was not working and there was a slight burning smell. Amazon arranged a next day collection and replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement is clearly not new. It was clear from the packaging, in comparison to the one I received yesterday, that the machine and accessories were not properly packaged. They were just stuffed into the box. The body of the machine has scuff marks and scratches. Amazon cannot replace a replacement so they are refunding and arranging collection of the replacement. I can accept that the first machine was faulty but I am unhappy that Amazon tried to replace it with a used one, hence the downrate. I shall have to look elsewhere. Not good Amazon! UPDATE 2 After the problems with buying this product through Amazon I bought it elsewhere. The steamer is really very good and works as well as my previous Polti 2400. Glad that I decided to go ahead and buy it elsewhere. I also discovered that a buzzer sounds when the tank is empty.
Really powerful steamer. Very pleased with it. No cons that I can think of.
I have used this on our wooden floors and the dirt it removes compared to normal washing is incredible,we have 2 dogs so it has to be cleaned very regularly,would recommend it highly
Excellent product not cheap, but well worth the extra money you pay over other brands on the market.
Also it is non abrasive.
If I have one critasism perhaps the power lead could be longer to avoid using extension cables and a supply of cleaning cloths would be useful.
Had a slight problem with the first hose, but Polti customer services were great and replaced it immediately.
Makes light work of the cleaning, I only wish I’d got one years ago!
