Really impressed with this portable monitor.
Got it on offer and it’s pretty stunning. Colours are great, does HDR well, motion seems to handle fine though I’ve not tested 120fps and it can run off a single USB C cable if your device supports it. There’s a lot to like. At first I was disappointed with the screen quality, but I just needed to adjust the settings to tune it to how I prefer it.
Use it frequently with my PS5 and have no issues at all. Games look stunning even if it’s just a 1080p screen.
It’s not 5 star though and it’s for 2 reasons. First is that the speakers are a bit quiet, not the biggest problem but it’s a bit tinny. The second issue is the lack of product support I’ve received. Seller was really friendly and helpful at first, but when I started to ask questions about using the screen, the responses stopped completely. My unit has an issue with OverDrive mode where it will cause lines to appear across the screen. Any time I asked about it I just didn’t get a response.
Shame because OverDrive mode isn’t essential to me so I’m mostly able to happily use this monitor all the time, but I do feel I should warn others.
Great performing portable monitor.
Great colours and really vivid display.
Bought this for the switch and steam deck and both perform perfectly on this.
Purchased this as a second screen for my laptop.
It’s super easy to setup and works great.
The image quality is very good with a crystal clear image. Controls are simple to understand and change.
The built in/removable magnetic cover/stand is perfect for protecting the screen and holding it at the perfect viewing angle.
Overall I am very pleased..
Great monitor for Samsung Dex and also Nintendo Switch, so easy to use and great quality
Used it as a portable monitor for switch, the included cable can be used with power bank to game on the go. The only downside is there is a high pitch sound from speakers for some reason when there’s no audio being played. However is there is something playing or using headphones, it works fine. I suggest using earphones since the speakers are similar to an average laptop. However as a display it’s amazing
Works well as a second screen for my laptop. Light and portable. Can’t get it to work with my phone which is a shame. Haven’t used it for gaming but with the excellent screen for quality it should be good

Developed a flicker after some transporting though. Otherwise worked fine while it lasted. I’m not pursuing the warranty as I am leaving the country so I have no input on that.

I didn’t know what to expect when ordering this but was pleasantly surprised about the many uses I found for it.
Firstly, the packaging, it comes in a very nice, well presented box with sufficient packaging as well as high quality cables and a power supply.
The display includes a pre-attached cover which can also be used a stand (although at limitted angles) and it can also be removed.
Connectivity wise, there is a USB-C for display, another for power, a mini HDMI socket and a micro USB, although I’m not sure what the last one is for as I haven’t tried it.
I’ve managed to use the display with several devices:
Samsung Galaxy S10 : with just a USB-C cable from the phone to the display and providing power to the display (all cables included) you can use DEX mode and use the phone displayas a trackpad.
You can even connect a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to use the display in DEX mode and still use the phone in “phone” mode – two devices in one!
Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet: Same as above but without the touch pad option – so two screens, one touch screen as a tablet and the other almost as a computer with a bluetooth mouse and keboard.
Huawei P10 phone: Same as the Galaxy S10, Huawei have their own “desktop” mode like DEX and works in the same way
Macbook Pro: This was a great experience – straight out of USB-C from the latop to the display with no additional power needed. Just one cable. Mac OS picks it up as a 1080p display and you can use it to mirror or extend your existing display and even change the orientation.
iPad Pro (USB-C) – even though this is listed as not being compatible, using a USB dongle with HDMI out, I could mirror the iPad display although the screen ratio is wrong, but it works if thats what you want to do!
Overall, as long as you keep in mind the price and spec of this display, the performance exceeds my expectations.

This second monitor helped me a lot with my assignments. I really needed the second screen to play a video and work on another screen to do my project! This was a lifesaver. You do not need to go back and forth on the same screen, specifically, if you have training or instruction you need to follow. The quality is so good as well, Full HD 1080! You can easily plug it in and it came with a various cables that you can use it with Laptop, Desktop, and even TV! You Gonna Like it!

– the stand/case is quite nice and easy to use. The listing claims it’s leather, but it’s definitely a plastic material, which is fine, and I think actually preferable. That’s likely a language issue more than anything else.
– It seems to sit well on my table at a reasonable angle for use with the case on it.
– It also only requires 5V, and it claims to need 3A (but in practice, it appears to be less) so a reasonably powerful charger should be able to power the monitor (Although I would recommend one capable of outputting 15W at least), including the one that comes in the box. That means you could use the USB port on your laptop (I tried this), or if you have a charger for your laptop that has multiple ports to power the monitor if you want to, so you’re carrying around fewer accessories. I was also able to use my battery bank to run the monitor, so if you’re on the go, you can use a power bank to run it.
– The screen is IPS, it’s decent, but not amazing. But given the price, I wasn’t expecting 100% sRGB, since it claims “70% color gamut” which I assume is 70% sRGB, that claim appears to be accurate. I found the color reproduction reasonable, in a pinch you might be able to edit a photo on it.
– The screen is 220 nits, which isn’t crazy bright. The photos I have shows the monitor next to my HP elitebook 855G8 with a 400 nit 99% SRGB screen (Both screens at 100% brightness). The HP’s colors are more accurate and the screen is noticeably brighter. But based on the specs, this shouldn’t be unexpected. I think the differences are there, you can tell in the photos which is which, but the AWOW is solid and doesn’t look terrible by comparison, which for the price point is all I can really ask. The way I intend to use this monitor, I’ll probably be using it indoors as a spare screen. If you plan on using your screen outside, I’d definitely spring for the next model up that AWOW offers that has a brighter screen, although this one’s not bad, the E6 has a 450 nit screen, and although I haven’t seen it, the difference could be worth it.
– The blacks are also sufficiently deep, and there isn’t really much noticeable pixel bleed.
– The screen also does well for video, I don’t see tearing when I play videos on the screen.
– There’s also a 3 year warranty if you register the product with AWOW with the card in the box, that seems like a very generous warranty for an electronic product. I don’t expect to need it, but it’s good to know it’s there.
– The only real negative I saw was speakers on the monitor. They’re just kind of eh… But that wasn’t what I bought it for. They’re not as loud as my laptop and they sound a bit tinny.
The monitor comes with some nice cables and everything you need in the box. It comes with two nice thick USB-C cables, one C-to-C one A-to-C, and a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, as well as a 5V 3A wall wart (Although I likely won’t use it, see above regarding powering it).
If you need a portable monitor, this is definitely a good choice.
