I don’t have a lot of experience with dehumidifiers, I got this one because of some mold issues developing in my bathroom. I basically have this on all the time and it works great, the bedroom is right next door to the bathroom and I have no issues with the noise when the doors are closed.

Really happy with this product, and I also have the added bonus of nice clean water to give to my fussy plants.

Disclaimer – I don’t have any previous experience with dehumidifiers.
Bought to dry out a garden room that had been plastered and was soaking wet inside. Literally water running down the plastic sheeting behind the plasterboard. It was 99% humidity for two weeks before buying the dehumidifier. After a week it was down to under 60%, and had removed over 30litres of water.

Forget 12L/day, you would struggle to get this in practice. At 99% humidity and temperature ranging from 15-21 degrees it was pulling out about 6-7L/day. It is much for efficient than I though it was going to be. Costs about 5-6p/hr according to the smart meter.

The hose for continuous draining is great. I just used it with a bucket to increase the capacity to 10litres from the 1.8 internal container. By attaching the hose it automatically activates it.

It is too noisy to have on whilst being in the same room. It would get very annoying very quickly. It has the horrible noise of a fridge but is about the same volume as a Combi boiler. In the house I move it around and just put it in a room I’m not using. It is not too heavy to carry one handed and can be wheeled easily too.

In summary I didn’t know what to expect, but it certainly works and completely dried out a soaking wet garden office in 10-14days. I would like it to be quieter but otherwise pretty happy with it. Hope that helps.

Works really well, gone from having water running off my windows each morning to them being dry. The dehumidifier isn’t the quietest though, it is fine in normal operation, but a couple of times it will just make some really loud noises (I think switching on or off the compressor or something like that). But it will definitely disturb light sleepers. The lights on top of the machine are also really bright and irritating, they will go off in sleep mode though, but don’t let the machine get full overnight or you will be woken up by the strobe light coming off the top of the machine.

Although I echo the positive reviews regarding how quiet and efficient this machine is – it has an annoying oversight in Night Mode that is very frustrating. Even though this mode is meant to avoid disrupting sleep (it goes quieter and all the lights turn off) – if the tank fills up then all the lights turn on and flash really brightly until its emptied. I find that it’s woken me up so many times that I’ve started to put book on top of it to cover the LEDs in case it fills up in the night.

So my house has a lot of problems with damp normally and during winter with the heating on, it becomes a necessity to have a dehumidifier. I was very skeptical at first but decided to chance it. I was surprised how good this works. Pretty much as a charm. Its overall silent, quick and I have hardly any issues with damp anymore. It’s pretty big, do take some space though. However I have just found a perfect spot for it so it’s not in the way. Even the dog who is kinda fuzzy and don’t like noisy things is happy with it — it’s enough quiet for her naps. I keep it on during the day for a couple hours and at night the same.

Worth mentioning it sure helped as well with our overall health too which I suppose was caused by the excess humidity and the damp. Very glad I have invested on this and totally recommended.

I leave it on 24 hrs a day in the bedroom at the moment.. As we have very high humidity. Uninsulated solid brick walls. I turn it into night mode at bedtime, all the lights on the control panel are off, unfortunately nightmode has a setting of 50% this means that it is on more or less constant.. The fan runs all the time, I imagine to draw air in to check the humidity level.. The fan has 2 speeds, but still you can hear it.. If the humidity is above the selected level, then the compressor kicks in, noise level increases.. After a couple of nights you get used to the noise level.. I get a full tank everyday, so to me this is doing its job.. No more condensation on the bedroom windows now in the mornings.

Thsi is a good little machine, ideal for a small room. It is very quiet, and easy to use. What is very useful is that when you turn off the power supply it will restart again as soon as power is restored without having to reset anything, so is ideal if you want to use a plug in timer with it.
Obviously it is not large enough to handle a large damp area, but within this limitation it is a very good buy.

Does the job of removing moisture and it helps tremendously my mold problems in the bathroom. I find it a bit noisy so I often put it in use when I’m not home or when I’m sleeping.

A good Dehumidifier, like most of this size it is not lightweight, but easy to move as on wheels. You can hear it when it’s on and working but again it is not a problem or ‘very’ loud.
    Please with my purchase

I was skeptical about this but it does what it says. From my hallway it collects about 4L per day. Who knew there was that much moisture in the air!

It is not as quiet as I expected but as it’s in the hall I don’t notice it.

I have even ordered a second one for downstairs!

The condensation on the window in the hall has gone.

Quite impressed with this for the money.

Didnt realise until carefully read advert that 20L is what’s possible a day but only using continuous hose into a bucket or such like. Actual internal storage is less than 2L which means having to empty few times a day. I dry washing over stairwell and situated top of stairs. First night noticed massive difference in bedrooms upstairs felt “dryer” and no cold sweating in bed. Putting this smaller one in living room for summer and buying larger capacity for the upstairs now I’ve seen the difference they make. Very happy with purchase and product easy to use ability

They really do remove moisture from the walls of a damp house, I was sceptical at first but having tried it I would recommend. My house is a terrace so always has damp walls, I used it first in my living room and the dehumidifier was full of water after one evening. You could feel a difference in the air as well. I swap it to different rooms each day and find its working great. The noise level is ok not too noisy on the sleep setting if using in the bedroom. They are heavy but with the wheels are easier to move around. Would definitely recommend.

I dislike the fact that it does not have a timer. I chose this product because it stated it had a built in timer as I need to use it overnight, obviously I cannot do this.I use it as a dehumidifier in my living room.

It’s an excellent dehumidifier. The tank fills up twice a day when it’s wet and damp outside. I’ve positioned it in a cold room. The house is open planned so it’s drawing from a good size space.
I haven’t worked out how to set the humidity level I require but it’s reading around 53 kept on low and set on intermittent although it seems to run at the same level permanently. I’ll probably phone the company just to confirm the settings.
I’ve had it up and running for about a month and very happy with it so fa

Machine has a good carrying handle or wheels if moving over a flat surface. Did the job of removing water from a damp room better than expected however I was expecting the water container to hold more, so needs to be emptied more often then expected, misunderstood the write up and thought it would hold 12 litres before needing to be emptied.

Works well & is a nice compact design & I have definitely noticed the difference, It has 2 power settings, 1 & 2 with the lower power setting being quieter & I use it on setting 1 & empty 1 full container each day from a central location in my house.
Feel it definitely reduces dampness & find it simple to use.
I might reposition it at some point & fit the hose to it for constant drainage but honestly don’t find it much trouble to empty once a day.
I checked out several different models prior to making my choice & very happy.

Works well & nice compact desig

I searched for hours for a dehumidifier that was low in sound energy cost and efficient and dried laundry
    This is amazing
I can wash two loads of washing hang it on airers and baby’s clothes on hangers on curtain pole in my room and they are dry in a day or over night
I have it on at night and the sleep mode is quite it does not disturb me or my baby and I by time I wake up the tank is full
My flat constantly had condensation running down the windows making my nets go mouldy and now are always bone dry and it’s got my humidity down from 85 to 45-50
It costs 5p an hour on sleep mode and in day I have it on high constant set at 50 humidity and it costs 8p an hour that is a lot less than a tumble drier my clothes smells fresh my flat feels warmer as it’s not cold moisture in the air I am sooooo happy with my purchase and highly recommend this item

Was optimistic whether this would actually work, double glazed windows suffered from condensation along with ceilings walls and clothing & curtains. Was very very bad, even my salt got ruined. In desperation tried one of these & the result……………… absolutely amazing. Not a trace of damp in the whole bungalow. Clothes dry indoors, able to put sa,t on my food if needed and no need to spend ages mopping up around windows. Had to turn it down a bit as it was giving me a bit of a dry throat overnight. Is very quiet, not silent and I get close to 6 Lts a day from my 2 bedroom bungalow. Have it placed centrally in the hall but it is light & easy to move if needed.
    Would thoroughly recommend this product.

We’ve been using this dehumidifier for around 10 days and there is a noticeable difference to some of the rooms.
It’s of a reasonable weight but not too heavy to lift however it moves easy because of the wheels so perfect.
Works well, easy to use and understand also for the size collects good moisture.
The dehumidifier it self is really quiet including the high mode but the fridge noise it makes for me personally is too loud to have running whilst in the same room. My partner says he bearly notices it so perhaps its just my hearing.
Other than that it’s great! Happy with i

I have had this for 3 weeks now, i really can not believe the amount of water we have in our house, we knew we lived in a wet area by the sea and surrounded by hills, I bought this unit cos getting clothes dry now the temp has dropped is a nightmare, i did some research and dehumidifier seemed the solution, well not only does it do great job for the washing, our house gives up at least 1 container full every day, i try and be mindful of water around the house, IE karcher vac the whole bathroom after baths showers, turn kettle off just before the boil etc.. It lives on the landing, our house is quiet open plan, washing is put into the room nearest the unit currently but think once we get a reg around 50 i will put it into that room while washing drying, we haven’t reached a 50 yet but 52 keeps popping up so getting there. Our whole house feels so much nicer, very hard to describe, just more comfortable. One review said it blows warm air, mine absolutely does not blow warm air, it is cold, which makes sense as refrigeration is how it works. Doing an amazing job and I am very happy with this product, thoroughly recommend it to you.

This machine has worked wonders for me. My room was having alot of problems due to damp, with a general winter humidity of around 80% going into the 90’s whenever I did the laundry. Clothes would take most of the week to dry and leaving windows open was only mildly helpful and not pratical in the winter months. This dehumidifier fixed all that. It’s a very solid little unit, a little heavy to carry but moves very smoothly on its wheels. It’s very simple to operate too, just plug in and go really. The operation panel is very easy to understand and it’s fairly quiet when working. On low you can barely hear it and high is an inobtrusive background hum. It collects water very rapidly and has brought my room humidity down to a very comfortable 50%. My washing, which could take 5/6 days to dry, can now be put away in 2 and my breathing has improved alot. The damp atmosphere had me feeling like I was always getting a cold, now thats gone.
    Overall, I’m very happy.

The Pro Breeze so far has done it’s job, no more dripping windows with little puddles on the sills. It’s smart & modern looking with easy read controls.
One small niggle is removing the water tank, one has to use both hands on the side grips so when pulling, it pulls the whole machine over, but hopefully in time these will slacken off. The machine is NOT Noisy, eaven on high fan, on low it’s just whisper quiet. Overall a good machine that does its job, let’s hope it continues.

I had condensation on my windows in the cold weather. Every morning I’d have to wipe every window and I get mould growing on the frame and I’ve started to get mould in the corner of the room.
I got a recommendation to get a dehumidifier, so I did my research and decided on this. I put it on from about 4pm to 9pm in the evening and it collects alot of water. None of the windows have condensation on them now and my washing drys so much quicker.
It’s not cheap to run but I have it on for a few hours and that does the job.
Empty the tray when it’s half filled because its not easy to remove and you will spill water everywhere.
I live in a one bedroom bungalow and its does everywhere.
I sounds like a loud fridge.
So far so good, it seems to have solved my condensation issues.

I am surprised by just how much water collects in this machine. I did not realise just how damp my old cottage must be. I have plenty of ventilation and central heating in the winter but during summer months, when heating is off, I have noticed a smell of damp previously. I hope that with occasional use of the dehumidifier to control that.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI got this in the sale as I also have a bigger Pro Breeze dessicant dehumidifier and that has been great. The dessicant is rated ’10 litres per day’ water removal and this is ’12 litres per day’ so I thought it would remove more water. It doesn’t, which highlights the difference in how they extract the moisture I suppose. This is really dependent on the environment where you are using it. In hot, humid rooms it would work better than the dessicant one. In cooler, dryer environments it isn’t as good (but cheaper to run constantly). It’s physically a lot smaller than the dessicant, which was surprising. It’s heavier. It’s also a little quieter but I still wouldn’t want it in a bedroom. Sounds a bit like a small fridge with a desk fan next to it. Dessicant ones are just a fan sound really without the compressor noise. Side by side comparison near to a damp bathroom door at 19C this takes about a litre a day out of the air. The dessicant is at least double that. In the summer, when it’s thundery weather and too hot to use a dessicant I’m sure this will be great as it gives out no noticeable heat. Overall I’m a bit disappointed but I think it’s just how these type of machines work. I’d still recommend it and certainly think Pro Breeze is a good manufacturer having used other top brands and had them fail prematurely.

I have got a 2 bedroom flat and whilst it does not have damp issues it always has a lot of condensation on the windows in colder weather; I decided to get this dehumidifier to sort this out. I was astounded at how much water it collected within the first 6 hours of use. The windows don’t have any condensation anymore. Also, I have noticed that the rooms feel warmer since I have used the dehumidifier. It is easy to operate and whilst heavy it is on casters and can be wheeled from room to room. I find the white noise absolutely fine in the daytime but I could not sleep with it on in the bedroom at night – this is not a problem for me – I run it when I am at work.

I had humidity in my room around 55-65. It was too much and every morning I woke up with really bad feel in my nose and throat.
After few days of this dehumidifier the humidity in my room went down from 60 to 40 percent and it’s straight away better. On low fan level, the noise is not that bad. But for someone it would be too much. I’m OK with that. It has to be turn on constantly. There is some sleep mode but when I press it there is not choice to change humidity level. Only 50percent and it’s too much. So I leaving that on auto mode with lowest humidity percentages and low fan speed and it does the job. I empty the container for water every 4-5 days roughly. If anyone get problem in room with humidity it’s perfect solution. Hope it helps.

I am really surprised at how much water this thing collects. This is the best thing I’ve purchased for the flat – it keeps damp out, keeps mold/mildew at bay, no condensation on my windows anymore and helps dry clothes so quickly. It’s not noisy, a bit of white noise in the background. Kind of soothing. It’s on wheels so you can roll it around. The tank isn’t huge but I don’t mind emptying it now and again, haven’t tried the option of continuous drain yet.

I purchased this dehumidifier ahead of the autumn/winter, as I dry a lot of washing in the house during this time & only learned just how much moisture I was putting into my house & setting myself up for damp & mould. This is so compact & very easy to carry around the house, you barely notice it’s there. As expected there is some noise but it sort of stays in the peripheral so doesn’t interfere with watching TV or talking to someone even if it’s just through the hallway. Very happy with my purchase though to understand all the modes I probably need to read the instruction booklet as opposed to just winging it but you can just turn it on & go as well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter using these passive dehumidifying tubs with not much success to combat a serious condensation problem from a close-by shower room, I decided to go all in and buy a proper dehumidifying machine.

The Probreeze is very easy to set-up and use. It’s on castor wheels and has a handle to it’s easy to move about. It seems to be extremely efficient as it produced a good 500ml of water in a matter of 3-4 hours of first use – one of the passive tubs would’ve taken several days, if not weeks, to produce the same amount. Because of this efficency though, the small built-in tank (1.8L) might not be very practical , so it does come with a drainage pipe for continous use. The bult-in tank does have an auto cut-off trip switch for when it’s full, however.

Only real drawback is that you couldn’t sleep with this on in the same room – it is fridge-freezer level noisy – but if you have an area that needs to dry out fast and be kept that way, you couldn’t go much wrong buying this machine.

I used this unit to dehumidify my study room. I kept the door closed and the ventilation to a minimum. I have to empty the water tank about once a day and it ran 24/7 for a couple of weeks. It seems to run at about 150W while the compressor is running. I’ve set it for 40% humidity and it does stop dehumidifying at 35% and starts again at 45%. The room was normally about 64% humidity normally and it took about a day to get the room down to 40%. The fan runs continuously. There’s an on timer, an off timer, two fan speeds and a self drying mode before you put it away after use. It is doing the job I bought it for so I’m happy.

We have a cupboard that seems to be a “magical” humidity trap. But there are clothes in it. So to stop the mustiness we got one of these. Even on high the thing is barely audible in the cupboard and on low it’s so quiet that you can hardly hear it kicking in and out on auto. 12L is big enough not to be annoying, continuous drain if you need it and the light weight is also perfect for the cupboard use. Buy a dehumidifier that fits your purpose. This does and is effective for small spaces. Thank you!

I’ve been running it now for 4 day,and wow the first day we had to empty it 2times.this is only in my bedroom. But it was at 84% and it’s now down to 50% but it’s struggling to get any lower, don’t know why. It’s still taking water and we are still emptying it once a day.i haven’t turned it up to the higher level as I’m autistic and noise sensitive, that’s why I went for this one.as I hoped I’d be able to cope with it.
It’s not as quite as I expected it to be with a quite sticker on. But it’s not as loud as my tower fan on low, which I cope with. I can’t cope with it any higher then low so I thought best not turn the dehumidifier up to the higher level.
It’s amazing that it’s on wheels it means that with my disabilities I can wheel it through to the bathroom to empty it if I don’t feel safe enough to carry the tub.as I have found that it’s a weight….it’s not stupidly heavy and your average person would manage no problems.but the wheels give you that extra way around it.
As for easy use,it can’t be more simple…. You plug it in,press power and it starts on auto,it’s set a that point to 50%…and that’s it.unless you want it higher or lower then 50 you don’t need to do anything.and if it’s in the bedroom and you find the lights bother you,I find them comfortable, then at night you can turn them off by pressing the sleep button.

All in all I give it 9/10 and it looses that 1 point as I thought it would be quieter than it is as it has a quiet sticker lol….but I’m still pleased I got it as if that’s how quiet it is and the others don’t have it,I wouldn’t have coped.

Compared to other dehumidifiers I have used this one is a lot quieter and a lot easier to move around, as has 4 wheels on the bottom.

The only downside I have found is that the collection tank isn’t as big as thought would be for a 12L unit, we have a 10L unit in another room from a different brand and the tank holds a lot more.

Other than that there are no complaints about this dehumidifier, great product!

Quiet, effective and best deal I could find on Amazon for the features included. I just wish it had a child lock function because my cat jumps on it and presses the storage button accidentally. If the draining tube were ever disconnected, water would be everywhere. Apart from cats or kids possibly pressing the buttons, this unit is great to have for helping to dry laundry and to take dampness and cold out of the house air. Would recommend to anyone, I am very happy with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this in October to keep my caravan dry over winter, and to save using the de-humidifier bags and boxes that you have to keep drying out or replacing. To say I am impressed would be an understatement, it is so simple to use, obviously you need to read the instructions in order to get the best out of the machine, but they are simple and straightforward, and in English. I did look at quite a few different models, and a lot of reviews, before settling on this particular machine, and I am glad that I did. This machine is super quiet, even when the fan is on high I can hardly hear it (I tried it in the house first), I would imagine you could have this working in a bedroom at night without it disturbing your sleep it is so quiet. It is easy to move around as it is on pretty good castors, and had a good handle on top for carrying. Like a lot of reviews have mentioned I did initially have a problem when using the drain hose, in that the water kept filling the reservoir tank and then switching off, so I contacted Pro-breeze (who wouldn’t??) and they suggested that as the de-humidifier does not have a water pump, I should stand the entire machine about 150mm (6″) above the drain point, and the water would then drain through the pipe by gravity. This has solved the problem. I now have the machine set to 45% humidity on low fan speed in auto mode and I have no problems at all, when the humidity level gets below 45% it switches off, and when the humidity level rises it switches on again, and the water drains away down the pipe.
A brilliant little de-humidifier, which should save my caravan suffering from any damp issues this winter. I fully recommend this to anyone who needs a small de-humidifie

New build house, damp coming out of all the new plaster etc. Cured our mould problem almost overnight. On low the fan isn’t annoying in the same room and on high it’s noticeable but not distracting from the next room. The chiller kicking in can be heard if you’re lying awake at night but won’t disturb you if you’re already asleep.

Very easy to move on wheels and not too heavy to cart around when empty. The handle feels sturdy.

Simple interface, haven’t used sleep or storage functions as yet. Will upgrade to 5 star if I’m this happy with it in 12 months time.

The Humidifier is easy to use and set up. I have noticed already that the house is warmer and I’m amazed at how much water it collects. Mine sits in a corner in the living room it’s easy to manoeuvre to the position you need it. It’s not silent and I can hear it when the fan starts but no more than any other fan. I am very happy with the product would recommend to others and purchase again.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have waited 2 months after I wrote this review and I must say that I am impressed.
When I first started it I was like “a gimmick” that I will return; BUT…. after 8 hours, when I saw that it collected around 5L of water… I was impressed.
For me it isn’t noisy when I use it on High power and quite when on sleep mode.
Overall, a very good product which gave me a good impression.
    5 stars from me

P.S.: After 18h I was curious to see how are the dust filters and they were quite dusty. After I cleaned them (it took like 2 min), I’ve put them back and yep… ready to go again. || I am happy with this produc

I have this Dehumidifier for 3 weeks now and it is a great product, it dose a great job of taking the humidity out of the room. The noise level is ok (it sound like a mini fridge), I can sleep with it on and it dose not bother me, it says on the info leaflet that it dose 12l/day but its at a 30 degrees, so if your hose is at a normal temp of 19-21 degrees then it will do like 6-8l a day if you leave it on at high setting and the humidity dose not go down as fast. But as soon as you plug it in and it starts to work at high setting it will get to 50% humidity in 1 hour and keep it there , or lower if you set it to what % you want. All in all great product easy to use , easy to evacuate the water, I recommend it with all my heart to all people that have humidity problems in there home.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOur room has been damp for a while, with mould appearing on shoes and clothes and the room feeling like an entirely different sub-climate to the rest of the house with it’s humidity. There was an awful lingering smell which would hit you, especially in the morning and opening the window or using an air filter didn’t seem to help.

After looking at a few reviews this seemed like the best option. Having an inbuilt sensor and the ability to stop it going below a certain level of humidity was important since it can make it harder to sleep. We were shocked to plug it in and find out our room regularly gets up to 90% humidity. It takes less than a day to fill the tank.

This humidifier is quieter than others I’ve used before. It also does the job – the room feels a lot better, the air feels fresher. We’ve called it EVE since it looks a little bit like the character from Wall-E.

    Happy with our purchase

Good solid heavy feel to it, good quality product which is extracting a lot of water from the air in just a few hours – exactly what I got it for. Very efficient in my spare room (smallish room). Running it a couple of hours a day is enough to noticeably reduce humidity.

It is quite loud on the high setting – creating a low frequency pulsing hum which you can hear in other rooms if used at night. I mainly use it in day anyway. Excellent overall compared to the cheap one I was using before.

Having prime next day delivery really helped – I found a really bad damp problem in the house and needed a fix fast! So far so good, package arrived in time and just as described on here… and I can already breathe better, the air just feels drier in a room that literally smelt of damp before. it’s already collected a lot of water in a short space of time in my room (5.4 x 3.8m) and I’m really impressed with the noise level (although it’s worth saying I like white noise anyway – it could be an issue for some as whilst not loud, it definitely isn’t silent) and different settings. Definitely worth the money and invaluable if like me you have asthma and rising damp at home! I especially love how you can set it to an optimum humidity target so it doesn’t dry out the house plants whilst also making sure it doesn’t use too much electricity. Thanks so much.

A life saver for a very damp flat. Never thought I’d need something like this, I’d bought a very small one for a damp wardrobe but then the problem was a lot more widespread. It works so well. It can be a bit noisy when on the high mode and sometimes you can hear the water dripping in the tank. But it draws so much water out of the damp rooms. It’s worth every penny spent.

We live in a Victorian house and most of the rooms are damp. We’ve only had this machine about a week, and put it in the bedroom. It registered 86% humidity at first, and over the week it has fluctuated between 50% and 60%. We have been amazed and delighted by the amount of water collected in the tank. I set the humidity level at 50% so it won’t take long now to achieve a constant 50%. We will then move it to another room.
This machine is easy to use and the digital display is clear and precise. It’s very easy to move around with a sturdy handle to carry or the wheels to push. After studying so many other dehumidifies on Amazon, I am so pleased I chose this one. We wouldn’t be without it now. After living in this damp environment for over 30 years, we will soon be damp free. I can’t recommend this dehumidifier highly enough to those who are concerned about the dampness in their home.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI live in a flat and noticed moulds in furniture around the place I use for laundry drying. After loads of research, I invested in a dehumidifier and voila – it worked (no more mould) 🙂 I use it mostly on the day I do my laundry to speed up drying of clothes and remove the humidity in the area. The clothes are almost dry in around 5-7 hours as I use it in default mode (continuous auto and with timer). Its very easy to use, clean and empty. I am very happy with my purchase and can never live without a dehumidifier anymore. Thanks ProBreeze.

I purchased this dehumidifier to try and get rid of damp in the house. I was very surprised at the amount of water it extracts from the air. 10X better than one I purchased previously. The unit is not too heavy on the electric. Not too loud, watching a film or listening to music is not a problem. I’m very pleased with this dehumidifier and wouldn’t hesitate to recomending to friends.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHave had this dehumidifier for just over a week now and it works extremely well. We have damp problems caused by a leaking roof and, whilst we wait a replacement roof, this has cleared up all the damp smell and condensation problems. It came well packed in just enough carboard, although internally please use carboard inners instead of polystyrene.
Noise wise it is not too noisy and does not niggle around your ears like some can. We have had it on for 1 week 24hrs a day and collected around 28ltrs of water. Excellent for the steam iron, so a saving there. Now we only need to run it at night and we have no condensation problems anywhere and if we place a clothes horse near it, it dries the clothes in half the time than just leaving them in the spare room, brilliant .We did look at hiring a machine at the same cost per week as this cost to buy. An absolute no brainer. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone. 1010

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHaving had a desiccant dehumidifier previously, I’m amazed at how much better this is.
Firstly the running costs are around 4 pence per hour. The desiccant dehumidifier cost about 7 pence per hour. But really it is the amount of water it can pull out. that really sets this apart from the competition. I always struggled to get relative humidity down to about 56% with the previous dehumidifier running constantly.
With the Pro Breeze, I can easily get the humidity down to 50%, the compressor then switches off using even less energy as the humidity level is monitored.
I wouldn’t call the dehumidifier whisper quiet, but it’s not too bad, as long as you don’t expect to use it in say a bed room.
The casters make moving the item around easy, and the size of the machine is pretty compact.

Every day I empty it and it is full 1.8 litres, my windows every morning would have condensation on them and mould build up before I purchased this unit, now there is no condensation and no mould, and the room smells fresher, what a great item I would highly recommend, on the low setting you can’t hear it running so it’s purfect for the bedroom working away whilst you sleep

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVery effective, quiet and practical.

Air enters from front and exits at the back, so you can’t put it close to a wall. After buying this model, I also bought the larger (20l) Pro Breeze model, which exhausts the air at the top. Far better in that respect but this smaller model is significantly quieter. We have it sitting on the landing, working day and night. It doesn’t disturb anybody’s sleep. The larger model is really too intrusively noisy to use in an occupied room.

My only tiny gripe of this 12l model is that the air filter is really loose and drops out each time I empty the humidifier of water. It’s not a big problem though, it reminds me to quickly clean it each time!

No more mould or mildew on the walls or condensation on my single glazed windows. The two units together keep my house much healthier, fresher and in better condition. Very pleased with Pro Breeze.

In the past I have bought dehumidifiers but only the top brands and very expensive ones. I could not imagine buying a cheap one that was noisey and ddi not remove much water – i.e a lot of noise and not a lot of results but that is not what we have found with this little beauty!! It has been going 24/7 since we receive it. We move it around the house as it is so easy to move and even slept with it in the room with no issue. We have been astounded at the amount of water we have been tipping from it! and astounded with the amount of moisture in our house! Before we bought this the mould was starting to dig in and I am sure that we would have had sick children by now if we didn’t take a chance on this machine. I feel like painting a face on the front of it, giving it a name and calling it a member of the family!! (maybe I will!)

  64. Hollie Schultz says:

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersRunning it during the day for about 12 hours, it extracts about 2.5 litres of water. With the winter weather being mostly rainy, the humidity always returns to the high 60’s, the little machine doing it’s best each day to get it down to the 50’s. We have it parked on the landing to dry all the upstairs rooms simultaneously! Not necessarily the most efficient deployment, but we don’t get condensation drips on the window frames any more in the morning, so a solid visual indicator that it is making a difference.
It’s a little more noisier than I was expecting, but it bearable in terms of machine white noise.

Essential for houses with a dampness problem.

This unit was purchased to replace an old machine that had developed age related problems this one was half the price of the replacement one from the other manufacturer so I took a chance and it has not been a bad decision as this Pro Breeze actually works better than the other brand ever did. Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersAlthough my house has central heating my kitchen (4m x 3m) doesn’t have a radiator. Consequently, the kitchen is cold and humid. I purchased a ThermPro from Amazon and placed it on the worktop above the washer-dryer that reads 17C and 71% humidity classified as WET.
Looking for a dehumidifier on Amazon the ProBreeze looked ideal and has good writeups overall, so placed an order. It arrived the following day just after 3 pm. It was placed on the worktop with the problem of the short plastic pipe being too short to reach the waste pipe below used by the washer-dryer. The thought of purchasing some more plastic hose would be time-consuming so I looked into my plumbing box in the garage. I found a 15mm brass union with compression fittings and a length of high-pressure hose. The outside diameter of the plastic hose was about 13mm so used a few turns of masking-tape that would accommodate the olive for the compression union.
To avoid any damage to the ProBreeze it was switched on at 7 pm. It burst into life with a humming noise similar to a refrigerator, as it should do as it is a refrigerator to lower the temperature to dewpoint to precipitate the humid air.
76% humidity was shown on the ProBreeze and 71% on the ThermPro. After about 15 minutes, water droplets tricked down the hose, with the air temperature increasing a few degrees and humidity decreasing to 58% on both devices with the ThermPro had now changed from WET to COMFORT. Upon returning to the kitchen about two hours later both devices showed 48% humidity.
Having the fan set to FAST appeared to be efficient else at SLOW the ProBreeze showed the humidity 2 or 3 % higher than the ThermPro.
When switched OFF overnight the humidity is 71% in the morning.
    It’s now working 24 7.
Noticeably, I have ceased coughing at times during the day in my office upstairs with a second ThermPro that reads 52% humidity COMFORT which I attribute to leaving the kitchen door open.
The ProBreeze is very good. Extacy would be to have a hose twice the length.

A little confused initialy as to the results when experimenting with the options .Also with the variations in mode and illuminations on the options . However once familiar with what results the PB achieved in a pleasant hum of the fans this has been an exellent nighttime dehumidifier. I had been searching for a dehumidifier for a while and came across this. Bought it because of the positive reviews and it has not disappointed! I have had it for 2 and a half weeks now. I live in an old house, that has some dampness issues, this product has made a HUGE difference. I have been using it almost continuously since I got it. It has been collecting the 12l in a day for me in different rooms. One of the main reasons I bought was because I felt I could not breathe “cleanly” in my home, it was very humid! The humidity level displayed at 81 the first time I used it!!! I now have a reading of 50 in most rooms – which goes up if I take a shower/dry clothes ect. I have noticed a difference in my breathing, it just feels so much cleaner. I use it in my kids rooms before they go to sleep and they have commented on the difference also. I would highly recommend this. Only downsize is the noise, because it is not unbearable and I have became used to it, and the positives of this product far outway the noise!

Very happy with our dehumidifier. The summer heat was causing a lot of damage to our baby grand piano, the piano tuner recommended getting this and keeping the room at 55%. Notice a huge difference to the keys and tone after the first night of running it. We have it on all day and all night, having to empty it morning and night. Mostly quiet, dont notice it running generally but have to turn it off to record the piano and organ but that is to be expected. Would highly recommend getting this, simple to set up and on wheels if need to move it around. Arrived prompt and well packaged.

This dehumidifier is excellent, the size is just right and it has great features too!
The controls are very easy to use and also all well thought out and importantly work just as needed.
The built in sleep timer is a great function too. I have it set up with a socket timer to kill the power altogether but set at a wide enough window that I can still use the sleep timer for the 2 hours I need.
One thing to note (and this isn’t a gripe or anything, just for info) if you do use it with a wall timer and it hasn’t finished the sleep timer the unit will go back on at the last settings but without any sleep timer next time the power is restored (effectively to the unit this has just been like a power cut).
All in all, very pleased with this unit. I’d buy again no problem

I actually purchased this for the sake of my reptiles, since constant high humidity can be an issue with some arid species (even if this is mostly an airflow issue too, that causes the problems!). I have arid species in my bedroom, but a fish tank too, then to top it off an array of plants that only add to the humidity – I was easily reaching 60-70% RH, within an hour of running this unit gets it down to 40-50%. For the cost, this is exactly what I was looking for. I was really impressed by the reviews others had left, and I’m glad I decided to go with this product 🙂 The only thing I have found is that when setting a target RH, the machine often continues to operate even 5% below the target – in my case this is a bit of a hindrance as if I set my RH to 40% (doable by the machine), it will keep going at 35%, despite not being able to go any lower in my room – meaning the unit just keeps running. I also noticed that when it DOES switch off at what it considers its target, it doesn’t fully turn off and instead enters a sort of half-functioning state, still making noise etc compared to when it’s completely off. Which is okay, but again, I don’t need the unit to be half-running 24/7 in anticipation of the humidity getting a tad too high at some point.
All in all, a fantastic machine – do be aware of how Relative Humidity works when purchasing any dehumidifier.

I’ve been using this on and off for about a week now, and so far the dehumidifier has worked perfectly for my needs – helping to dry clothes and preventing the room getting too stuffy.

The dehumidifier is easy to use. There was no manual when it arrived, however we found one online and you could probably work it out yourself anyway. There are two fan settings, and there is a timer function as well as a preferred humidity setting. So far I have used it on continuous mode and the timer. When full the device stops collecting water. I don’t know how effective it would be if the room had damp as it is quite small, but for regular use it is perfectly fine and doesn’t get in the way.

The cable is 2m long, which is fine for our needs but may be something to keep in mind. According to our smart meter it is also pretty cheap to run at just a few pence per hour.

When the dehumidifier arrived we noticed the plug used to block the hose connector was missing. I contacted the providers and they very quickly sent a replacement part.

Overall I’m very happy with this device and with the service we received, and I’d be happy to recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOver the years we have struggled with condensation on our windows at certain times of the year and have tried numerous things to reduce this.
Decided to go for a dehumidifier and would thoroughly recommend this one. We use it for a relatively small living room and a double bedroom and it has removed all traces of condensation.
It appears to be very cost efficient (we have it on the lowest power setting and it works fine), is relatively quiet (about the sound of a medium fan but when it does start to generate water that sound can be a bit disruptive as only every now and then but you get used to it), and the customer service we received from the organisation was first class.
Our initial dehumidifier wouldn’t turn off after setting the level but they were very good and sent us a new one very quickly.
All in all if you have struggled with condensation on windows I would highly recommend this product.

She has been using it for two weeks now and has remarked that her room feels so much better and that there is no longer a smell of dampness in her room. She is delighted !!!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAfter experiencing condensation on our windows for over two months after moving into our 1890’s colony home and subsequently discovering mould growing on the slats of our ottoman bed frame and on the wall, we took measures on our external wall to remove mounds of earth and bought this dehumidifier to help combat the condensation and damp musky feel of the room. Within a couple of days the water bucket was full showing just how much moisture was in the environment. The dehumidier has worked wonders for us, our heating is way more effective now and there is no musky smell in the room and rarely ever condensation – we haven’t even had it one month yet! The Laundry feature is also an excellent addition clothes take 1-2 days to dry indoors rather than 3-5. It can be quite nosiy so we don’t sleep with it on and tend to just leave it on whilst we are at work 9-5. It doesn’t seem to be that expensive to run based on figures on the smart metre – probably an extra 10p a day but we are starting to combat that by switching off our games monitor at the wall which is actually evening it out. All in all, a great dehumidifier has definetly helped in solving our problem – would recommend and think its good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI am very happy with this product…does exactly as it says. I am surprised how much moisture is extracted from our house. Full information from the digital readout is excellent, it gives some idea of just how much moisture is about…Very flexible and easy to use, lots of interesting features such as fan speed etc. A couple of points would be an interesting addition…example…a see through water storage tank…or some indication of how much water is in it, without the need to remove it…also a bit less noise….its not excessive…but a quieter fan would be nice…
Its very easy to move around on its castors…glides along very nicely…All in all, a very nice product, great value for money and for me at this price…its a winner…I would certainly recommend it…and would buy it agai

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRainy, cool Essex, December 2018. Used for an unheated ‘garden rated, soft-furnitured’ 8′ x 12′ [approx 800 cu ft] double-glazed conservatory which was becoming damp and ‘black-spotted’. The SE facing conservatory has an air-brick from the still drying-out, new-build chalet. Windows are on ‘ajar’ setting. After 2 weeks or so of daily emptying, the humidity is now 55-60%, having dropped from 67-70%, with no more ‘spots’. The fan is set high’, with ‘laundry’ setting and runs continuously, which helps to avoid stagnant areas behind vertical blinds. The collecting hopper may drip when the collecting canister is removed, so a cloth is handy. The dehumidifier shuts down if it’s forgotten to empty the canister.
I could not work the controls initially, but I found I was using too heavy a finger pressure. Clear readout with ‘traffic light’ humidity indicator.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a very damp bedroom and was already using a smaller version of this. The dehumidifier is brilliant, it removes 2 litres of water from my bedroom overnight. Though fairly quiet, it was a little noisier than I expected even in night mode. The lights don’t bother me although even they can be switched off overnight. I definitely award five stars overall. This is a very efficient machine, it looks neat and unobtrusive. This is the second dehumidifier I have bought from this company and I highly recommend them for service and their products. Thank you Pro Breeze, you’re ace.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersHappy so far with the purchase.
    It works as advertised.
    Has a nice look.
The sound level on low is acceptable.
Very handy when you need to dry your clothes inside.
Consumes around 200 watts when running but is no need to have it on 24/7. I had 15kWh reported by the smart plug on the last 2 weeks with medium use.

Feel free to ask for more info but if you buy it you cannot go wrong for the money paid.

My last dehumidifier died after only two years (different make) and was very noisy. So far this one has operated quietly. It collects about 1litre a day from our downstairs area and hovers around the 50% mark which is what I set it at. It is easy to move around being on wheels. So far so good!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersYou know the feeling… you order something on line because it has a good self-write up and 4 or 5 stars from ‘reviewers’ but you are not 100% sure. Well let me put your mind at rest. This little beauty not only does all it claims, but then some. We have a store room that was showing an air borne water content of 70% – and within the week that was down to the mid-30’s – and this is a room with no heating, double glazed door & windows but an un-insulated loft space, so prime to be damp. Thanks to this little marvel of a de-humidifier we now have a much more comfortable storage space, cardboard storage boxes that are dry once again and no signs of surface condensation anywhere. If you want a brilliant dehumidifier at a great price, this is the one for you.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt is every bit as good for household use as my previous kit an expensive household Dehumidifier which expired after a few reliable years, so no complaints there, I looked around and choose the Pro-Breeze as a replacement at a third of the price and every bit as efficient. Highly recommended. As a bonus, the supplying company is excellent to deal with.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought for my son who is staying in a basement room whilst on a 12 week internship. Has made a big improvement to the comfort level, having removed over 4 1/2 litres of water in the first couple of hours of being switched on. The unit has continued to work well removing more moisture. He says that the room and his clothes & bedding no longer feel damp. He is very impressed with the unit. He has found the noise level to be higher than he expected but in an odd way finds it soothing & it helps rather than hinders him to get to sleep. I intend to use the unit myself when having to hang damp clothes in our spare bedroom to finish off drying as it has a mode to assist in drying laundry.

Golden Review Award: 44 From Our UsersGood speedy delivery meant this item was working the day after the old one broke down. Whisper quiet, you have the choice of 4 modes and 2 fan speed settings. You can set the time it comes on and the hours it runs. Or you can set the humidity that you want and it will run until that humidity is reached and then switch off. You can use the tank that holds 2.2 litres of water or attach a continuous drain pipe that means you won’t need to empty the tank. Dries my laundry a treat!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe pro breeze dehumidifier performed exactly how I hoped it would (brilliantly). We get a lot of condensation on our patio window at the back of our house, we don’t get any sun within two metres of the window, therefore it gets very cold in that area and when I’m cooking or just heating the house it courses condensation on the inside of the window. So when I’m cooking or heating the back of the house I use my dehumidifier and there,s no condensation
    Thank you

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI brought this to tackle mould in wardrobes and corners of my 2 bedroom house and condensation forming on the windows during winter – I move it around the house every few days none of windows now have condensation and the mould has not returned.

I have a smart meter and running this dehumidifier for a minimum of 12 hours a day for the past fortnight has had a negligible effect on the amount of electricity I have used, certainly only a few pence at most. Due to the house feeling less damp and therefore cold I have had the central heating on less so I suspect I have actually saved money by having the dehumidifier on!

The dehumidifier is small and light enough to easily move around the house, is small and unobstructive. It is easy to empty and the controls are simple. Feels well built and is certainly pulling lots of water from the air.
I can’t believe how much nicer my house smells after it has been on.

I have it running on maximum and it is noisy but not a problem, just have it on elsewhere in house and when I’m not at home. I haven’t tried lower power or the clothes drying options as I just wished to reduce humidity in the house as soon as possible.

I absolutely recommend this product as a great, simple product that does exactly what it should do.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersHaving purchased a another brand dehumidifier and having very poor results, I opted for this more expensive dehumidifier by Pro Breeze.
Having now owned it for a week, I am utterly pleased with the results it has made to a small studio room. The air is more breathable and in fact warmer. it collects the water wonderfully and is unnoticeable in it’s noise level when on normal or low efficiency setting.
It has many great features in having 4 different types of levels of use, the first being Normal in which you can have either low or high level. It’s with this setting that you can set the humidity level for your room and this humidifier will work until it reaches this point, and then shut off. It only resumes once the level is breached again. The next level is low efficiency for those people wishing for it to work at a slower rate but still doing a good over a longer period. The third level is for a higher power in which this dehumidifier will click into another higher work rate and consumption level, but gets the job done in quicker time. The fourth level is for clothes drying and again the noise level and work rate steps up a bit more to clear the air quicker of any dampness and dry the air quicker, making the room feel warm after a while.
The other very nice feature of this Pro Breeze dehumidifier is the lights it gives, which basically tells you at what stage the air humidity level the room is at, either green (below 50), blue (50-70) and red which will let you know the humidity level is at a no so healthy 70 or above. For even better economy while the dehumidifier is on, you can opt for pressing a button to basically switch all lights off on this machine while it’s working just the same.
My favourite feature is using the timer button to either set how long the dehumidifier is on for (1-24 hrs or 0 for continuous), or while the machine is off, press the same timer button to tell it to come on in so many hours time (1-24hrs). Whatever the level you set this dehumidifier to work as, it will remember this setting when switched back on, whether manually or timed, just make sure you have set the level before switching off for it remember.
I love this dehumidifier and it’s very unique features. I hope it will give me many years of service to come. I recommend this dehumidifier to any one wishing to purchase one for the first time over a cheaper one which would not be powerful enough to do the job quickly and efficiently and to recommend over buying one that is more expensive, as this will do as good or better. Get this Pro Breeze dehumidifier.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersWe have been having problems with moisture build up and black mould for a little time now. Every morning the windows would be full of condensation but it took this little dehumidifier 3 days to resolve the issue. It’s simple to use fairly quiet ( the only one I have so no reference point). To top it off I love the colour coded lights and little eyes on the front of the unit……

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI absolutely love it, it has great functions – you can as well adjust manually (low or high speed options ) .
Child-lock function is great when you have curious toddler i your household.
What is the most important about this dehumidifier – it is very quick, when you switch for a night mode it can stay on entire night without disturbing your sleep.
Also it stops automatically if water tank is full.
    Drain pipe included .
    100% satisfactio

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLove this machine. I took ages deciding which dehumidifier to buy and I am delighted with the Pro Breeze. Very easy to use and it definitely does the job. I particularly like the night time setting which is very quiet. My flat is just under 600 sq feet and the one machine seems to be fine for the space. This machine is more expensive than some, but the quality, quiet and performance makes it money well spent. Very happy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDecided we needed a new dehumidifier to sort out our condensation issue. After lots of deliberating on the different units available, we chose the Pro Breeze because of the high scoring reviews. We haven’t been disappointed. Much better than our old unit and we love the humidity level indicator light. We are already thinking of buying another unit for upstairs. First class product.

Golden Review Award: 98 From Our UsersBought this for the box room that my son sleeps in, in my 3 bed house. It was damp and moldy on the 2 corner walls and window. The room always felt cold despite having a decent radiator. After 24hrs the room started to feel warm again and the water container needed emptying. After a week, my son mentioned that not only was the room warm now, but his bedroom door was starting to close properly now, because before, it had swollen and was sticking and difficult to close. In my and my sons opinion, this is an amazing product, lovely and quiet too, so you can sleep while it’s on. Definitely highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 144 From Our UsersThis is the first dehumidifier that I’ve purchased (November 2017). After years of living in a house that has bedrooms windows covered in condensation in the colder weather, I decided to bite the bullet and try to eliminate the need for daily wiping them down. I’ve had the Pro Breeze for just over a week and am getting about 2L of water a day. The rH has already dropped from 73 (way too high but I hadn’t known before) to 54, and I am aiming for 40-45. which according to my research is a healthier atmosphere. The digital display clearly shows the current reading. The different settings are brilliant as are the two fan speeds and option to turn off the lights. I have also used it in the room where I dry washing on a clothes horse. Not only did the clothes dry within five hours, but all the water was in the storage tray. I’m a very happy customer!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought this product based on it’s reasonable price, to deal and with condensation when cold weather caravanning. It worked extremely well, was quiet and we particularly like the ‘sleep’ mode which meant the LED lights on the control panel went out so we could leave it on at night without it disturbing our sleep.
