Easy to use, light to carry (although a handle might have been useful for carrying from room to toom. I have been using in a room where I have had a leak and condensation. I have been emptying on a daily basis and even when I think there is no dampness in room it collects water. Very pleased with it. Runs very quietly.

It had a big task ahead of it as unbeknown to us we’ve had a leaking pipe for over a year! It has been brilliant, love how easy it is to use and it’s portability! Would definitely recommend

Good purchase for the price and is an efficient humidifier.
    Noise level is acceptable
The only negative thing I could say is its hard to see the water level. My last one I had, came wirh a transparent water well and was much easier to see.

So let’s be clear this is a dehumidifier and does exactly that. Not necessarily the amount it claims but consistently removed 200ml plus of water daily which out performs expensive moisture traps.
The biggest and only gripe was the noise. It really is noisy and on more than one occasion mistaken for a car with its engine left on, on the driveway. We’re getting used to the background noise but really should be considered before purchasing.

Has someone left the car running?

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe dehumidifier does its job. You can tuck it out of the way and let it get on with the task. It is not silent but the noise level is not disturbing.
My one criticism is that it claims to have a capacity of 1500ml. That is the capacity of the collecting container. The automatic cut of for when full cuts off at 1200ml!

order arrived promptly, neat design, easy to use, I use in a small space for about 4 hours a day, and it removes about 1/2 teacup of water each time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFew points which I noticed might help others. It worked well for these initial months. The switch soft switch reset when power goes. So you can not connect to a smart plug to schedule for every night. Observed as it works well if switched on at least 3 hours and make me feel like require some time start cooling. If you keep for in home cloth drying mak sure keep it running for all night when typically condense on windows. No cleaning provision has seen hope it does not need cleaning. I may update the review in case I observe anything different or if it stopped working.

I bought 2 dehumidifiers for the bedrooms in my ground floor flat as you could feel the dampness creeping in through autumn. Since putting in I have removed on average 3-4 litres of moisture a week from each of the bedrooms. As it has got cold and damp outside now I use my back bedroom to dry my washing and with the help of the dehumidifier in there it dries a lot quicker. They seem to be very good little machines and you get used to the noise level and it can actually help you to fall asleep.

Probably a bit too small for the size of room we’ve got it in but then that’s my fault! However, it is as described and works well at a constant, fairly quiet hum.

I use this in my attic conversion, which isn’t centrally heated so it can get some moisture and condensation issues. Ideally the space probably needed a slightly bigger unit, but this is definitely making a difference to the humidity.

Used in bedroom for condensation on windows. Noisier than expected. Collects a good amount of moisture but a stronger dehumidifier would probably do a better job.

I decided to buy the bigger unit and it was the correct decision. Though it is a little bigger than I expected, it works well and is not nosiey. You can hear it operating, but the motor/fan noise is not too intruisive. Very effective at lowering air mositure levels.

The unit requires the start button to be depressed to run, so you can’t run it on a timer to automatically run at night on off peak electricity.

Effective and discreet, it will cope with small rooms about 12m2 easily. I recommend emptying regularly (about every 4 hours). It could be quieter but if you close the fort it is barely audible

Well constructed unit fits well into our little summerhouse and reduced humidity by 10% within 12hrs. Considering its size this is excellent. There is unfortunately a however!
The unts on/off button resets to off when power is timed off and doesn’t allow power timed on, to restart the unit. It requires a manual restart which is going to be a problem during winter weather.

Really does the job. I got a medium size room and it does collect a fair amount of water (I put it in front of the window). I feel better with it in my room, I can feel the difference in humidity level compared to before. Nice aesthetic. I’ve had it for nearly 3 months now and I don’t regret it. I sometimes sleep with it working the sound is quite soothing for me. So far I highly recommend.

At first I thought this didn’t work, I moved it from a concealed floor position onto a raised area and it got into its stride,
The area we wanted it for is our front porch, which we added to act as a buffer/coat hanging area as the original front door opens straight into our kitchen/living room. Owing to wet coats etc., this area was getting full of condensation in colder weather.
The dehumidifier seems to have stopped this.

I’d read mixed reviews and was worried that this might not be strong enough for a large room, but I didn’t want to spend hundreds on a larger, more industrial one. But it’s perfect!! Extracts a huge amount of moisture from a very large room. Too loud to have on while sleeping at night, but just using it during the day has been enough to stop the mold and remove the damp smell.

  60. DeandreKDO says:

Brought this to dehumidify my porch where there was mould growing in the damp conditions. After cleaning it off, this has prevented it from returning. This product does not heat the space but blows out cold air. It holds a fair amount of water which I empty regularly. It’s no good for larger spaces than that of say a garage. I have placed it in an open plan large room and it does collect but not to the extent it removes the humid air.

I think it is value for money for small spaces without having to dig into your pockets. I would recommend this to my friends.

I was skeptical about this larger model but I have been really impressed with its performance. My wife and daughter have stopped sneezing since we started using this tool – clearly it’s doing its job of reducing the presence of airborne spores that can occur in closed rooms during the colder months of the year. Worth the extra cost I’d say.

just purchased the machine so I cannot give a rating for its efficiency, however first results are looking good, the one observation that I will make is that as it is a portable piece of kit some form of carrying handle/ facility would be an improvement on the design, will be giving an efficiency rating after approx 4/6 weeks use.
Update, After 4/5 weeks of use this little machine is doing what it should do , after being surprised at the amount of water it removed we relocated it to another room and yet again it was very efficient, worth the dosh that it cost and we would recommend it for efficiency.

I had intended to use this with a wall socket timer so that I could run it automatically for just a few hours a day. Unfortunately this is not possible as the on/off switch only works when there is power to the device, so once turned of by the timer it will not turn on again until the switch is pressed.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersWe’ve been using this dehumidifier for about 10 days now and very pleased to report it works well. The awful musty, damp smell has gone from the unheated, carpeted hallway after 4 days use, starting with half a mug of water collected, increasing to 3/4 on day 4. The unit is very light and can be carried to another room with ease. There is noise from the unit, so we have it off at night and on during the day in another room ie the landing/a room we’re not using. This is a very good remedy if you don’t want to pay 200-300 for a large, compressor type unit. It costs roughly 50p-75p per day to run, so not too bad cost wise. We empty it daily and wipe away any droplets. I would buy this product again. #happydays

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersLooks nicer than the “standard” model and seems to draw a fair amount of water from the box room. While I can sleep with it on, it is quite loud and the volume on the tv has to go up when the unit is in operation.
