After buying and returning 2 investors I eventually came across this 1 which is on a diffrent level. Awesome build quality, and works a treat.
Love the additional controller you get in the kit too.
Good customer service, after I submitted my amazon invoice and a few pictures ,GIANDEL emailed me a confirmation. A replacement inverter was shipped the next day.
his is a good company, Australian owned, they design and build very good inverters,
mine works great, it is worth paying the extra money than taking the chance on a cheap no name brand company
Checked out another inverter that was only 4,000 watts and $300.00 more. This one is an Awesome inverter.
I bought this to replace a heavy duty inverter in my service truck. To replace my other was almost $2k, so I figured why not get this for ~$500 and get 1500w of power. I’m glad I did! Used it for almost a week heavy use and it works great! Construction/utility trucks aren’t easy on anything, but this seems like it will hold up. I’ll update if there’s any changes. Must have common sense or read instructions prior to installing though. Very easy however.
Excellent – set this up myself and I’m only a girl! It works well on my solar system particularly because of the remote button which means no more fiddling around on the side by the plugs which is so annoying on my other inverters. I’d recommend because it is efficient, neat, sturdy and the remote clearly displays a green power button or red for overload which is exactly what you need to know.
I purchased the 600W inverter around 4 weeks ago and have it installed in a garden shed hooked up to a 100ah leisure battery with a small 25W solar panel to keep it topped up. I use it to run a light and as a charging station for my cordless tools. Works great, does exactly what I need. I initially brought a cheaper 1500W inverter which stopped working almost as soon as it was setup and it wasn’t down to the load I was putting on it as the 600W Giandel copes just fine. Cheap unit was returned and after some more research decided on Giandel. Giandel has great reviews not only about their products but also the customer service and support you get afterwards. Giandel have been in touch just to ask if I am having any issues, which I’m not. Sometimes you get what you pay for and this unit is certainly worth the money. A great choice.
For those looking at this one, it pulls about 8W on standby and the 4 receptacles on the front are Max 1500W. The screws that secure the covers for the +/-on the back were designed by people with microscopic hands and limitless patience. Fan is LOUD. In the end, it’s does what is supposed to, haven’t checked it’s limits.
Works perfect as an inverter.
But there is a small electrical whine from the unit – not loud but enough to notice if you’re in the same room.
Only real gripe is the screen is always illuminated – I’d like to be able to turn it off
Use almost every day in Moterhome/ then went to use and nothing/ beeping and OL on front off inverter/ contact GIANDEL service bye email?
Was very very helpful sent small video off problem and a wee lass called ELSA help me;-)) very good she sent me a full refund with wee bit extra to cover cost off new inverter;-)) very good company to work with excellent service will bye Giandel again/and tell all my buddies about service ;-)) all best the now bri very happy ta
I purchased another Make and had to send it back as there was no output.
I wanted an inverter that could run my 900w microwave when off the grid, everything else works on gas but the oven takes to long.
On arrival I connected it to my new 12 volt 120ah heavy duty battery, it was easy to connect and was working within 15 minutes, I first tried a lamp, then a hair dryer and finally my microwave, it ran for a 5 minute test, the voltage on the battery dropped to 10.7 volts and using my tong tester to 135 amps all the time, so initially it looks good, longer term we will have to wait and see.
I have used the Giandel 2000w, 3000w and 4000w models. The first thing I will say is that in my opinion, whichever model you purchase, you need to budget for some higher grade cables than come in the box.
All of the inverters are well built and seem to be soft start, which can be a very important feature if your looking to connect your inverter to a lithium battery. I had previously bought a different brand that tripped my batteries BMS the moment it was turned on.
The 2000w Giandel wasn’t powerful enough to run a 2000w appliance which is why it was returned and replaced with the 3000w model. The 4000w inverter is my favourite, it has beefier cable connections and a hardwire output as well as 3 sockets.
Finally, I have to compliment the after sales support I have received from someone at Giandel. Messages always came back overnight so I guess they must be in Australia or China or somewhere like that but they always replied and were massively helpful.
This inverter is very quiet and performs as advertised on the website. I would highly recommend this unit to all for use in shed/workshop when using below 600 watts of power. I have a 300 watt solar panel set up and am very happy with this purchase.
Had some issues after about 5 months with the 40000W, worked with support and they sent a new one out asap to me with no hassle at all, I will buy again if I need another/upgrade from the same company due to their support, all devices have issues from time to time but good service seals the deal for me.
Great bit of kit, easy install, easy use, satifys all my power needs when we are off grid.
I used this as the output of a portable power center that I keep in the back of my truck when I am traveling with a camper, so I have shore power even when boondocking (and thus don’t need a generator).
The gauge is nice. It at least reads the voltage accurately, though I haven’t verified the other readings. On mine, when you first turn it on, it has no draw, but if you put a load on it and then remove that load, it still draws over an amp. For me, this isn’t a problem.
It has a decent efficiency, is pure sine wave, and is plenty large enough to run an entire camper. It has off-grid hookups, so I could easily wire up a 30A RV plug for it. The remote is nice since I can leave it in the back of the truck, and still turn it on/off without crawling into the bed. It is one of the most full-featured units on the market, and one of the largest.
The included wires felt laughably inadequate for 4KW (the rest of the power bank is using 4/0 welding/battery wire, and this came with 2 pairs of what looks like either 2 or 4 awg wire) so I upgraded the wiring. It is an expensive unit, and I will probably never come close to 4KW of load, but it is good to know I have the headroom if I get a larger camper in the future.
I thought I had a problem with the unit but is was my defective circuit breaker. The customer service was quick to respond to my emails. They also gave me an additional 6 month warrantee.
works well – It can pull more than 1000watts and will happily sit with a 1100watt load on there —
The first invertor worked intermittently so Giandel sent a new unit to one of my destinations while I was traveling in my 5th wheel. I picked it up at the post office in Custer, SD. Installed it in minutes and the new unit worked flawlessly throughout the remainder of the trip. We have a 110v Samsung residential refrigerator that needs a constant 110v while on the road. The Giandel 4000 watt inverter coupled with our 4 solar panels and 4 AGM batteries turned out to be a perfect fit for us. Seems like endless power now without a noisy gas generator.
Was a lot quieter than I expected, my inverter before had the fan running all the time and it was very loud, where as this one doesn’t, the fan only comes on when you’re using a lot of power. Love the remote, makes life so much easier and helps save power.
Although its 2000w, I use 1750w concrete breaker and the inverter along with 12v 110ah battery on a split charger the breaker works perfectly. I’m also able to charge tool battery, make brews and use microwave in work van.

I’ve loaded this bad boy with over 3600watts.. The fan cut in for a couple of minutes but took it in its stride.
The remote is simple to use and a great benefit.
Would recommend after spending hours looking at others /reviews etc.
Bought this inverter on 5-5-21 and installed in my motor home. I used it today (8-23-21) for the first time and it went into overload protection mode after ten minutes of use. Now it won’t reset or come out of overload protection mode even when under no load. Only had a 2,200 watt load on it when the fault occurred. It’s rated at 4,000 rms and 8,000 surge. Doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies with a vacation coming up in less than two weeks!
UPDATE: Seller shipped a replacement inverter that arrived in less than a week. Great resolution.
I purchased the 600W pure sine wave inverter, it works fine and delivers the full 600W. Mine failed after about 2 months for no particular reason, but customer support was excellent and replacement shipped quickly. Some have commented that the supplied cables are not great, but this is probably the correct way to go since each installation will be different, and whatever is supplied might not be suitable — better not put money into leads that might not be used anyway. Would not hesitate to purchase again.
This unit was able to power my pond pump whereas higher wattage inverters could not take starting surge
The remote control was great ,did not have to go into the battery box to switch on and off
Customer service exceptional sent the customer support team a video of the fault and they sent me a new uni
I just installed this into my RV wired to some lithium batteries. It will run everything in my rv (Not at once) but my rooftop AC will draw approx 130 amps from the batteries. I haven’t ran it very long but so far so good. If anything changes over time when I use it ill report back.
Note: The connector is an RJ9 connector, this is a more rare connector. I already ran RJ45 network cable to my remote mount spot. Most inverters use RJ45 connectors but I have no idea why they used this type of connector. I am going to have to cut and solder my own adapter to make it work.
GIANDEL NEXT TIME USE AN RJ45 CONNECTOR FOR YOUR REMOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like this product, its just a shame that the box was not security sealed or tapped shut.
Maybe a little more care when the vendor dispatches their orders.
This inverter does what it is suppose to do. I bought this for the trailer on my land, and the 3000 watt for my own residence. This one has one USB outlet, and the 3000 has two. The remote in the 3000 has a battery level, this one doesn’t. So, for about 150$ more for this, we got fewer features than the smaller version.
Otherwise, it seems to work as designed.
This inverter is of a higher quality than the Chinese crap I had bought from WISH months ago. Once I connected it, it delivered well. Not sure how to test for pure sine wave,
but I have used it to charge my phone and do other things OK. I am pleased with it.
This is a high power inverter and it delivers the full 4000 watt. All the cables that come with it should be used if you plan to use the high power capacity. I have 200 AH battery (2 X 100 AH in parallels) and for the 4000 Watt it is a bit on the low side. So far I use this inverter for my water pump, hot water heater and fridge. Works great as long as i can keep the batteries charged with my solar panels.
Most important is that the service is extraordinary. I had one unit acting up on me and they sent a new one right away which works great. Elsa was my contact person and she was a great help assuring me that I still have the 18 month warranty and have nothing to worry about. So what more do you want. A great product with great customer service! Thank you Giandel. PS the price went up since I bought it 🙁
When I received it for the first time, my impression was that it looked well constructed despite being made in China. Worked great with light use, on and off for about 12 months, then it just kept going into fault mode. I contacted Giandel, they asked me to send them a video of the problem and straight away they came back to me and replaced the Inverter. I’ve just installed the replacement today and it seems to be working fine. Thanks Giandel.
Very easy to install and works quietly. No problems with it, however, the manufacture’s customer support was poor. They brag about quick replies to questions, but I never got an answerer to a technical question. Still, worth the price.
I’ve had the unit several months now and it continues to work well. Only problem was with the battery cables that came with it. They burned out after a month. I believe they were too light and replaced them with1/0 guage cable and now no problem.
I have had this installed in my work truck for 2 months now. And it works like a charm.
I can even run my small portable welder off it worry free.
I have 4 battery’s in my truck 2 under the hood 2 In my tool box. There isolated and I used a toggle switch in my cab to run off 2 or 4.
This way I can charge batteries and small loads and not worry about my truck not starting. And when I’m doing something that will draw a big load (eg. Welding) I can run my truck and not have any power shortages.
works well With Led low wattage lighting ,and small electric hand tools (low wattage.) With hindsight i would have bought the bigger wattage .But I am happy with what it does for the price I paid. Its been a very interesting learning curve for little outlay
Very good power inverter
I have tried this one a 1400w heater works fine
Heavy build quality very good
I brought 2 other inverter at a lower price both Chinese ones aren’t true power output
I highly recommend you spend the extra fir a decent inverter this one comes with 2 years warranty
When i received the inverter i never got to use it due to the covid situation, but soon as we could get away and test it out we did but unfortunately after using once it smoked and never switched back on.
I quickly emailed giandel with my product serial number found on the circuit board and my amazon receipt.
They got back to me straight away and after 3 or 4 emails they were willing to offer me a replacement which was sent out first class and received 3 days later.
I really cant complain with how they handled the matter and that’s why i bought quality rather than some of the cheaper imitations.
Looks good. Yet to install it but feels weighty and well made
Fitted this inverter to my camper van, plenty of power to use all 240 v accessories in the van. Remote control is a very handy feature.
I’ve bought an old Swift caravan for a project to refurbish and make it usable again. This will be a next year project but I already started to collect all the necessary tools and gadgets I will need so I was so happy to get this power inverter as this is one of the most important elements of the caravan, nothing will work without. There are 2 main types of power inverters for caravans, one is with the pure sine wave and the other one is with modified sine wave. Sine wave produce power very similar to what you would get out of your wall socket so this is more convenient. Giandel is a well-known brand for inverter so I know this will be a well-made product and I was right. The housing is made from aluminium and not from plastic which is safer and has a better cooling and reducing heat but if this is not enough there is also a built-in fan too. Featured with an LCD display, two 240V AC outlets and two USB Ports. Also comes with and 15ft cable long Remote-Control panel featured with battery status, fault indicator and power button. According to the instruction manual it has a ton of safety features including Over voltage, Overload, Over-Current, Under-Voltage, Overheating, Short-Circuit Protection, polarity reverse protection. I’ve managed to test this with a 12V car battery and was working fine with appliances with small needs such like charging laptop, charging my phone, hair dryer and water kettle. All was working fine just was taking a longer than usual. I’m not sure how it will cope with a tv, microwave or a heater but will keep this review updated once it’s fully mounted in my caravan. My only issue with this inverter is with the 12V DC cable it’s too short so I’m limited where I will be able to mount the unit. Of course, that problem could be solved by buying a longer cable so it’s not a big issue. So, all in all I’m happy.
This is a quality product from a trustworthy company. I hook it up to my car and use it to charge my Van Moof ebike (504wh capacity) when I’m out in the sticks. No problem whatsoever. I’m so pleased I got this.
I’ve only had a brief opportunity to test this Power Inverter, but from what I’ve seen so far, it’s well deserving of a five star review.
I currently keep a small power inverter in the back of my car for when we go camping or for other emergency times when 240v electricity is needed. Unfortunately, it can’t handle anything overly power-intensive and hooks up via the 12v lighter socket. This Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter, on the other hand, works via a direct connection to the battery. This is far more efficient and allows it to run more battery hungry devices.
The plan with this is to install it into my small camping trailer, along with a leisure battery and charging cable from my car hook-up. This will allow us to charge the leisure battery when travelling, for use with 240v electrical items when there’s no mains supply around. We can then also charge it via the mains when available too.
The power inverter itself is extremely well made and, understandably, is fairly heavy. It’s also not the quietest of devices, but that’s to be expected with such a device due to the cooling fans. For what it does, this is a compromise that has to be accepted.
Overall, I can’t really fault this at all. The remote is really handy too and can be installed close by or more remotely (such as in a caravan or camper conversion). I’m also hoping to do a camper van conversion myself in the future, so this will easily be transferred over from the trailer when needed.
Fabulous for the camping trip. Really well made and sturdy. Works so well. It’s quite a noisy beast, but I can cope with that for the benefits. It’s not too large either, Really good product.
I currently have a small single plug inverter in my shed which is hooked up to a leisure battery and that is charged by solar via a controller. Gives me enough juice to have a TV on and its only 700W. Having received this beauty with twin plug 1500W (3000W peak load) and 2 USB 2.4A ports I was excited as I could now hook up some decent stuff in the shed.
It weighs quite a bit but the quality of the unit is second to none. The remote is a good idea though I won’t be using the 15ft cable length in the shed. I’ve attached this to the work surface via the shockproof pads , connected the cables and I’m enjoying TV, charging my phone and have the option to plug my laptop in. I found it a bit noisy but so was my old one. Unfortunately I don’t think my solar set up is up to keeping my battery sufficiently topped up to power all my devices with this inverter so I’ll be investing in upgrading it.
Considering it can peak up to 3000W it could quite easily manage a microwave thus would be ideal for camping or just day trips. I found the supplied leads too short and will be getting longer ones in due course.
Overall I’m impressed with this inverter and its well worth the money for a decent bit of kit that is guaranteed to work and last.
Highly recommended.
This inverter is great, I connected it up via the chunky cables to my pleasure battery and set to testing the start up load by using my 2000w hairdryer, worked flawlessly. I then preceded to using a sustained 1200w again flawless operation.
The battery cable terminals are very heavy duty and secure, the build quality of this inverter is very nice. I am more than happy with this.
This will be really great for when i next go camping, I have a few car batteries i will use to hook this up. It converts 12v DC to 230-240v AC.
I’ve been testing this power invertor for a few days now and found it works really well. It is really loud but these usually are. I’m super impressed with it though. It can hold 1.5Kw consistently and handle short starting phases of up-to 3Kw. That’s really impressive for me.
I really like that it comes with 2x power sockets, I have adaptors for most of my small electronics where I can power them through USB but this unit is good for the bigger items that require more power such as laptops ect.
I found it to be rather heavy though but I did expect that it would be if I’m been honest.
There’s a LCD display that indicates the battery level, this is an essential feature for me and I’m really pleased it displays it.
The control unit is pretty handy too, it’s a good size for attaching to a wall and has a long cable at around 4.5 meters. I personally don’t think I’ll be using it for now but it worked perfectly and even displays the battery level on that too.
It came with all the necessary shockproof pads and cables which i was very pleased to see.
I’ve found the build quality to very good, it’s all constructed to a high specification and feel extremely durable.
In the box;
– 1x 1500W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter
– 2x Battery Cables
– 1x User Manual
– 8x Shockproof pads
– 1x Shockproof pads Manual
Overall, I’m super pleased with this power inverter and it’s going to make my camping trips much better for personally.
I would recommend this.
I’m a super happy bunny today thank you Giandel. Although I thought I’d be testing a car power inverter, I thought it was a tiny thing like I’ve just purchased and packed up 2 weeks later.
So imagine my happy surprise when this beast arrived. Compared to my last one it’s the daddy for sure. I was going to use it in the car to charge my power chair but its far better than that. I’m going to buy a leisure battery, connect this power inverter and use it whilst camping. I’m stuck with places that only have electric hook up because of my medical implant and now we can camp literally anywhere. I’ve never even thought about using something like this so I’m super happy.
So this arrives well packed in a large box. It has a 24 month warranty. Inside is the heavy black aluminium power inverter, 2ft long live/neutral black and red cables, plug in remote control, mounting screws, rubber feet and instructions.
The inverter has lcd display, two x 3 pin sockets and two x USB sockets. There’s a fan which starts up only when needed. Fuse is 30amp. Each 3 pin socket can have 1500 watt load maximum. It will power a TV, grill, laptops, phones, fridges, printers and all sorts of things. The lcd display shows the amount of battery remaining which is an excellent feature.
This is certainly a good purchase. It’s exceptionally good quality and I’d recommend it.
If my review has been useful please let me know, thanks very much.
overall i give it 9/10 battery clips could be thicker guage, if you plan on using it as a portable unit get some better clips. unit works well.
I have it installed on a boat. I use it for power tools (400w jigsaw and the like), charging laptop, and few kitchen accessories. no problems so far but it is only a few weeks old. I like the display telling me the draw on the electric.
Installed into our caravan so we can use electricity off camping grid. Works a trea
I use this to power a charger for my E-Bike while out riding remotely.
You cant use cheap swithc mode items for these big 500Wh Lithium batteries and chargers.
This unit works perfectly.
Easy to install. I have only been using it to charge my laptop so far. Doesn’t get hot. I haven’t tested it with anything that will draw loads of power yet though. All connections are included and well made.

I bought a good quality inverter before this one that had great features but just couldnt handle anywhere near the load it was meant to. Now, this unit doesnt look as good, nor have the features. It was also more expensive but, it does exactly as it should. It powers everything I need and that is by far and away the most important function for me. Good quality, solid, more expensive but worth it.
This 600w inverter is really good. I’m using mine to power LED strip lights and small power tools in the garage where I have no mains power. I’ll mention the only weak point I could find first – its the battery clips! they feel and look cheap, a bit twisted in places and open just wide enough to get over the battery posts. They will do the job i’m sure but they do not meet the quality of the inverter itself although the cable is very good. The build quality is first class with controls and sockets laid out in a logical and easy to use design. The connection points / sockets / plug ins are second to none! The remote switch is really handy with a good length of cable, it allows switch placement at a convenient accessible location to turn on and off. In use, its powerful running my gear easily and I like the fact that at small loads (powering my lights @ 40w) the unit is silent as the fan cooling is not required. I’m really happy with that.
Absolutely love this, inverter. I used this to replace my Stirling inverter on my narrowboat and it’s been on 24/7 ever since
Fantastic serious bit of kit works Microwave without missing a beat but quickly drains the batteries fast if we do.
Use it for general stuff on the normal motor home 240v ring main had no problems even when using the kettle and toaster hoover or drill.
It’s early days , but this unit is doing what it is required to do. Easy to fit , and appears to be of really good quality.
First off let me say that I have used several different inverters from several manufacturers and have learned over time, that almost all of them are of low reliability with almost no quality control. This unit runs better than most, great actually when the voltage is above 12.8v, but the low voltage shutoff (as indicated by the LO readout on the display) kicks in at 12.5 volts across the rear posts. I am using four 12v 100Ah AGM batteries in parallel as the power source so there is lots of power left that I can’t access because the inverter shuts off. Even the readout ON THE INVERTER display says 12.4 volts!! but the manual says low voltage cutoff happens around 9.6 (way to low by the way). The loads are 200w2A micro air conditioner on the plugs, and a 1400w12A level 1 car charger on the terminalsI am thinking of getting a small voltage step-up to try and trick the inverter to continue running, so I can get my power out of my batteries. Gaindel please let me know what’s happening with my inverter
Update: I bypassed my Victron battery protects, and connected the inverter directly to the batteries. And it worked perfectly. I was deceived by the 12.5v reading across the terminals of the inverter. I can only speculate that while the BP is giving out a good voltage it is constricting the amperage flow (and hence the wattage) to the inverter in a way that triggered the inverters low voltage detection. I have used this inverter (sans BP) to put 30 kWh and counting into my EV so far, and it has functioned perfectly.
Worked exactly as designed, charging a MacBook primarily. We have it mounted on the underside of a table and have only had overheating issues once, on a day where it was 34 degrees.

The unit was easy to install and worked fine for a month then developed a fault – red indicator light and warning beep. That was disappointing but the after-sales service was very good. Prompt responses by email and an immediate exchange of the device. The replacement unit came quickly and has worked well since so it seems the previous issue must have been a one-off.
Fitted it in a camper van with solar panel to charge batteries really does do a fantastic job. Runs microwave, electric kettle all well.very pleased.
Despite the first inverter not working I am pleased to say that Giandel customer services promptly organized a replacement.
Customer service is excellent! The replacement is working very efficiently and I am delighted with it.
To sum up great product, great customer service, and value for money.
worked well
coped with all the planned power outages (and clumsy reconnects)
It wasn’t the cheapest unit, but I chose this as there were fewer reported problems and I wanted reliability. May update this some months later when we can see just how reliable this is
We installed this in our Motorhome and it works well for our mobility scooter charger and my laptop. We also run our rice cooker on it. It runs quietly and has not got hot yet. All good so far.

If the internal construction is as good as the external construction of this unit, it should last a long time. Good length of cable on remote. Very pleased with this purchase to date.
Nice built quality, though it suits being mounted best. I’ve been able to run the following individually with it: toaster, microwave, vacuum cleaner, large fridge freezer. The cable does warm a little under heavy load. At modest loads it is very quiet. Fans respond immediately to changes in load.
I purchased a Giandel 600 Wat pure sine inverter on the 7th of Feb what a good choice it was for the price. It’s very well made I know it’s only a small one at 600 Wat but I fitted it into my Motorhome last week and my wife and I went out for 3 nights of grid, and it has done us proud I’ve got a solar panel system connected to my 2 leasure batterys , the inverter is connected to the batteries and we run our laptop and charged up our phones on trouble. And it’s not to heavy at about 2 Kilos, so I would recommend this inverter or if you need a larger one look at Giandel Inverters first.
Good solid product. Really pleased with the quality. Have been using this to power my off grid household appliances and not disappointed at all. Reliable and easy to set up.
I need a 24volt 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter, then i found this Giandel brand as a try, fast shipping and package completely. As a backup power,it performs very well.I can add to my RX for getting extra power source.Highly recommend.
Unit Purchased= 4000 watt. Usage for RV/ 5th wheel travel power.
Received thru Amazon two days after purchase in good shape but missing remote
Received missing remote three days after customer support contacted me.
Pros:
Works as rated. My plans are to use it for my 5th wheel travel power. I got the unit and tested it to see if it would handle the load before installing in my 5th wheel. I put it on four 300amp AGM lifetime batteries using two strands of 4/0 wire for both pos/neg(the four 8 gauge wires provided were too short and did heat up on heavy usage).. Tested with two 1500 watt heaters for 3200 watt load and worked great for about two hours before it took the batteries down to half load and below 10 volts so auto shut off. Recharged batteries and then did second test by adding one more 1500 watt heater (3x) and still work. Went into overload of 6200 watts on startup and then down to 4200 watts and still worked great until the batteries were discharged below 10 volts then auto shut off.
The unit does suck power, but provides the power needed. I then tested it on an RV refrigerator and a microwave. No unusual sounds or issues and provided the needed power. I have not tested the pure sine wave power yet but using it on motors and heaters has not been an issue.
The unit is good sized (generally=length about the size of average mans chest and half the width so it is rather big, but can easily be installed inside a 5th wheel front storage compartment.
The remote switch works great.
Con which turned into a pro: My unit originally came with NO REMOTE. The company actually contacted me thru Amazon e-mail and asked if I got the unit and how it was working. I advised Elsa (Customer Support) that I got NO REMOTE and she sent me one three days later. Excellent customer support. Unit works as advertised and excellent customer support.
Update – (02/10/2019) – I have not installed it in my RV yet but as an electrician, I tested it for pure sine wave power and it meets specs. I’ve had no issues for powering my computers and sensitive electronic components. However, this unit will pull over 600amps (12 volt) on full power usage so I would highly recommend users greatly upgraded their wiring and also use multiple stands of heavy gauge wire. I elected to use 4/0 wire and used three strands as I had extra wire left over from another solar project (two strands 4/0 works fine too). The larger the wire, the better and the more strands, the better. This unit will pull lots of amps.
2I was surprisingly impressed with this. Not the highest wattage output but pretty good and stable.
I had to do some work at my daughters stables. Rather than running extension leads, I attached this to the car battery and used a jig saw for quite awhile without ant problems!
Handy thing to have when a mains power supply is always easily available!
I am now considering another one with a higher wattage output as I can see a lot of possible applications for these!
