I use this as a guitar chair and it is Comfy! Does the job Well!
The chair is a high quality, Although it is not genuine leather , the faux leather is of high quality too.
Unfortunately I had to return it as I prefer it genuine leather even if it was more expensive
I’d read some reviews before buying this item. One reviewer said theirs and the replacement they received were both damaged on the top of the seat cushion. So I looked out for this when mine arrived. Sure enough there was a very slight bit of damage on top. This is caused by the way the item is packed. Despite all the padding and packaging there is a flaw within the packing which allows a heavy metal component to collide with the top of the back rest. It wasn’t significant enough to worry me with my purchase but you need to be aware of the potential for damage. Fingers crossed you get a careful courier. Other than that the product itself is perfec
I use this for guitar practice.
Easy to assemble, and sturdy whilst in use.
As a previous review, I do not use the extra locking mechanism, but still stable.
Could have done with a little more upper height adjustment on the foot rest, thus the four stars.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase, therefore would recommend for acoustic guitar use.
Its wonderful. Proper support, adjustable to all kinds of needs.
Very sturdy & quite heavy (I need help moving it) no movement while playing. Comfortable, strong and sharp looks. It’s awesome.
Great stool, I’m using it for keyboards. It’s very sturdy and very well made. Thank you.
My old guitar stool lacked any sort of backrest and was jolly uncomfortable. This good product resolves both these issues. Very happy.
Ideal chair for me in the studio. Too heavy to gig, so will last for years – and that’s not why I bought it.
Easy to assemble and quite solid. I wanted something for guitar playing that would keep me in the right position to minimise my back problems. The seat has a fairly high lowest setting, and even at its lowest my feet are only just on the floor. It does have a slot setting at this height, but it is does touch the rear leg bracket when this low and needs a good push down to engage. At this height there is no lower slot to push in the fail safe lock bar, but it seems secure enough without it. The footrest, seat, and backrest, all slide up and down the same sloping axis. This means that they move backwards when slid up, and forwards when slid down, i.e. the footrest and backrest will both move back relative to the seat as they are raised, and forward relative to the seat when lowered. They do not have any independent forward and back adjustment. You just have to hope that they are in the right forward and backwards positions for you when you get the heights you want.
So far so good! It comes more or less already constructed minus the seat and back which slip easily onto the frame. I’m using it as a keyboard seat and so far its been reasonably comfortable. The frame generally seems quite sturdy and its well finished. The bottom legs close with a scissor action and it can be leant against a wall if needs be. There’s plenty of holes for adjusting the seat, back rest and foot rest up and down which is obviously handy since not everyone is the same height.. It’s a tad wobbly on a rug but would probably be ok on a carpet or hard floor surface. The cushion and back rest seem sturdy enough. They’re not exactly soft but they are supportive which I suppose is what matters. The seat may give problems after a few hours though but I can’t vouch for that yet. This is not a cheap item so I hope it stands up to constant use. The rubber grips on the foot rest come off easily and could have been a better quality rubber as opposed to what seems like hard plastic but I’m sure if I really wanted to I could probably find something to do the same job or better. All in all I’m very pleased as I didn’t;t have to screw it together and it came in a very sturdy box.
Good and sturdy build, nice design. a bit difficult to transport but it is totally sensible if one desires stability and reliability. Worth the price. Mine came with one leg imalanceds on a flat surface, not a major issue, fixed it by placing a folded piece of cardboard underneath of the foot rubber.
