This blanket is awesome. I fall asleep much faster and stay asleep. My only complaint is that I wish it was 90″ X 92″. It just barely covers the top of the bed. Just a few more inches and you’d have a little extra on each side.
I use this blanket on my bed. I find I’ve been sleeping better. The blanket is heavy and I wasn’t sure how I would like it, especially on my feet, but the weight distribution is great and doesn’t feel as heavy once I’m under it. The blanket comes with a removable soft cover that can be washed.
I use it in the fall and winter (too warm for the spring/summer). I think it does aid in my sleep and the weight distribution is very even. Sometimes I do feel it is a little heavy, and I find myself wanting something lighter but that is just a matter of personal preference. Cover is also pretty easy to wash and put back on imo. I’ve owned this for a year now with no issue.
I am chronically ill, and I have never slept better before now. I love “weighted blanket season” (fall/winter; this blanket is too warm to use during the rest of the year), and so do my cats. They fight for who gets to sleep on the blanket. The cover is SO SOFT!! Genuinely, I’ve never loved a purchase so much before. But I should have bought two covers, so I can still use the blanket on laundry day.

I have terrible insomnia but this blanket has really helped me fall and stay asleep. The duvet cover is amazing for chilly nights and I’ve just used it without it for when it gets too hot. My daughter has never slept well, and I mean never. As a baby she didn’t sleep. Let her cry it out they said. She cried all night for a week straight! I could go on and on with stories I won’t bore you with.
As she got older she began managing the sleepless nights on her own. She still wasn’t sleeping through the night, but I was because she stopped waking me up. We’ve tried many things to improve her sleep and decrease her anxiety. I bought her the 10# version of this item for Christmas 2021 and she’s been using it every night. (Can’t say that for any of the other gifts!) When I wake her up in the morning she’s somehow still underneath it, which never happened with her regular comforter. She’s even taken it on trips. The cover is super soft & comfortable, the beads seem to stay where they belong.
Tonight we were chatting and she mentioned she’s had trouble sleeping the past 2-nights. Unprompted she went onto tell us this was every night before she got the weighted blanket. ‘That thing is amazing, it’s helped me so much.” I thought it was helping her but I had no idea how much until tonight. She is very thankful for it, so much so, I had to stop by and write a review.

Heavy and comfortable
Overall a great weighted blanket and can be used as a comforter with its sheer weight alone, as a 20lb blanket.
The softness of the outside layer is nice as well as the interior material.
Downside of how its constructed is that the internal ties are only on the sides; so over short periods of time the internal weighted blanket will slide downwards and leave fabric at the top thats not supported inside till you fluff the blanket up.
I disliked that it was still so heavy at 12#. I don’t think a child could lift it. I had trouble using it & I originally was given the 20# blanket. I don’t know how the weight is distributed, but each blanket choice was very heavy & hard to move around.

i have had this blanket for 2 years now and lemme just say, knowing that i can go home, turn on my fan, get it all nice and chilly in my room, and snuggle under the comfortable weight of this bad boy…PHEW! it’s gotten me through a LOT. helps for anxiety / grounding tremendously. i have panic disorder and i never feel suffocated or wake up in the middle of the night suffocating. just make sure the blanket isn’t hanging off the side of your bed, or else the weight distribution will feel uncomfortably weight-y!

UPDATE #2: It made an incredible difference in this blanket with ALL of the inside ties secured. I added another star to the rating. I don’t know if this is a common problem, but if you buy one, that’s the first thing to check!
UPDATE: Just found out the problem! Only ONE of the ties on the inside of the blanket – which keep the inner blanket from bunching up – was tied!! We’ll see how it does. My order says the return window closed Feb 11; that’s interesting since the Quility web site offers 90 days….
We’ve had this exactly a month, and are trying to figure out why the inner blanket seems to bunch up in the end of the outer cover. We were able to “shake it down” and get the bunch out of one end, but it just did it again. You end up with a bulge on one end, and 8 to 10 inches of “empty” outer cover without any inner blanket.
The only thing I don’t like is the blanket inside the duvet cover moves around a lot and stay in place. But other than that it’s a great blanke

I bought the 25# king size blanket initially. I'm a big guy (6'6" 300#) and the 25# was too much. It really kept the heat in also. I returned it to get a lighter one.

I purchased one for each of my kids and they absolutely love them! They are amazingly soft and snuggly. The size dimensions given were true to size to fit the bed. A feature I love is the fact that the cover unzips to wash like a duvet cover. Even though it has a removable cover, the inner blanket does not shift around or bunch. I think my kids slept better as soon as they started using this. One of my kids loves it so much he even brings it along when we travel. It ships in a nice plastic zipper bag that you can save to pack and take the blanket along with you. The recommended blanket weights for the size of the user were accurate and seemed pretty standard across numerous brands. Will definitely buy this brand again when it’s time to increase the weight.

I love this blanket! It’s very comfortable, warm, and fuzzy. The weight of it is calming while I sleep, especially if I’m anxious or scared for the next day.
It’s also very warm! I don’t have heat in my room. I live in western Illinois, so winter can be brutal. Since getting this blanket, I’ve only needed to heat my corn pack up once even though it’s been below zero (plus the wind making it even colder out).
The only real con with this blanket is the weight distribution. The weighted part is actually inside the removable cover, so the weight can get thrown off until you open it up and adjust it. Pro – there are loops so you can tie the so it happens way less, but mine didn’t come tied so I had to open it up and tie it.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this blanket! The pros outweigh the one single con I have. I don’t have anxiety at night now (unless I feel guilty about something or my depression is acting up).

Now I'm a Believer!
I was super skeptical of a weighted blanket for anxiety but put one on my Christmas list anyway because I didn’t want to spend the money on one myself. I received one Christmas eve 2019 from my parents and ended up having a pretty severe panic attack the next morning. Not wanting to wake up my husband, I curled up on the couch with my new blanket and immediately felt relief. I was not cured by any means, but I did experience noticable relief of my symptoms.
Since that morning I use my blanket almost daily. I sleep more deeply and soundly at night. I am consistently warmer throughout the night without weird feverish dreams like you get with a heated blanket (my husband keeps the house freezing cold). And it still helps with my anxiety and panic attacks to this day. I tease my husband that he has been replaced by a blanket.
Both my in-laws have requested weighted blankets and love theirs! I think their cat wants one too! I’ve also noticed my husband sneaking his cold footsies under MY weighted blanket at night!
My one con, is that I believe I got an early version that doesn’t have the grid. Every few days I have to redistribute the beads. Not a deal breaker for me since I get a lot of use out of my blanket. I will make sure my next one is gridded when this one finally dies. Like others have mentioned, it is heavy and a pain to move from room to room or take on trips. But it is a 20lb blanket! 20lbs of anything is a pain to move around on a constant basis!

I bought “used, like new” so expected accordingly but the duvet was stained with what looked like sperm and blood spots! Why wouldn’t the seller even bother to wash the duvet?? The blanket wasn’t even folded, but just crammed in.

This was our upgrade
Our autistic son got to big for the smaller weighted blanket we bought him a year and a half ago, made by same company. We ordered him a larger one so when he turns over the blanket still covers him. With the smaller one he’d turn over, the blanket would be off him and he’d be awake and so would we. We had concerns with the higher weight of this blanket, son is 4yrs old, but has not appeared to be an issue. He’s taken to it quite well.
Cover is very soft, weight is well distributed, but the blanket can make you quite warm. We’ve taken the cover off and it is slightly cooler than using the blanket with cover on.
One suggestion for company on shipping, the sender should use smaller boxes. Blanket came in a box 3-4 times larger than needed with no fill to keep product from shifting. With the considerable weight of the blanket moving around inside the box the box was damaged. Someone retapped it a good bit from where the blanket had likely forced its way out during transit.
This is the second weighted blanket we’ve bought and have been very pleased with both of them.

I bought the 20-lb version in January 2021, and used it until the summer, when I replaced it with a 15-lb blanket from another vendor. Now that it’s cold, I went to swap them back out again.
The contents of the blanket have shifted to the point where parts of it are no more than two sheets; other places resemble either logs or pigs being swallowed by a python.
I haven’t figured out a way to redistribute the innards.
The blanket reminds me of the Longfellow poem about a little girl “When she was good

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix the migration problem?

After several exchanges of email, the vendor agreed to a one-time replacement, even though the blanket was purchased almost a year ago.
Since I was very happy with it before the contents shifted, and because of the positive customer service response, I’m opping my rating to five stars.
This blanket is the only thing that keeps me from tossing and turning throughout the night! I got the 25lb. One which is quite heavy when I need to run to the bathroom in the middle of the night haha but it is so soft and warm and keeps me still! No more pillows or socks off the edge of the bed when I wake up hahaha. No more waking up in weird positions that destroy my neck and back. The only thing I would improve on are the ties the secure the weight blanket to the outer removable blanket. Would love snaps instead of ties. After three years only One tie had broke off but I’m afraid to the the ties too tight and not be able to get them loose when I go to wash the outer layer.

I bought this for my wife because she had brought it up a couple times after coworkers were mentioning they slept better. We have a king size Sleep Number bed so figured I would get a weighted blanket that fit the whole bed in case I wanted to enjoy it as well. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought it… Apparently I forgot she absolutely, without fail, steals all the blankets leaving me a foot-wide patch of non-blanketed bed to sleep on so I could have gotten away with a smaller size blanket for her.
Anyway, this size was kind of a mistake (for her). She is 5’2″ and on the thinner side so the blanket was a little heavy for her. She wasn’t able to use it because it made her feel claustrophobic and it made it harder to put a pillow over my head in my sleep (denies of course) if I had a couple beers too many (snoring). I inherited the weighted blanket and what a great gift I bought for her. I used it nightly from January through May and probably never slept better in my life. I’m 6’2″ and it fits like a glove. I haven’t experienced any issues with the glass beads piling to one side or the other, no issues with rips or seam tearing or any other issues in general. I can’t wait until Fall when I can use it again.
Pros- I sleep. I sleep much better with this weighted blanket than a regular blanket. I can sleep the whole night with my blanket and not have to freeze or feel like I’m conjuring the demon spawn of Satan from her beauty sleep after she steals all the blankets. Two things I’ve learned over the years… Don’t steal blankets back and don’t put baking flour in her hair dryer. So two of the biggest pros are I sleep better and this blanket alone keeps me warm during the winter.
Cons- I can’t use this during the summer because it’s a warm blanket and I prefer a sheet in the summer so she can keep all the blankets on her 4/5 of the bed.

I have four kids ages 6-9 yrs old . My 8 year old daughter loves this blanket and it has saved our family from grumpy mornings. She would never sleep in her bed moving from bed to bed because she was afraid of the dark even though she had two night table lamps and sleep noise machine. She could never stop “thinking “ long enough so she could never relax . It was becoming a problem for all the kids due to her creeping into their beds. She would smother herself with dozens of stuffed animals for comfort but nothing worked. She was even taking melatonin 5mg but I don’t want her having to use a pill to relax .The FIRST day we received this blanket she said it felt like a hug. She only left her bed once after that night ! She sleeps through the night all the time now and she is down to only one night light! She even uses it when relaxing on the couch. The beads are great because the weight is evenly distributed. The cover is way to clean . I LOVE this blanket because she wakes up rested ready for the day . And all of us get a great nights rest for it. Thank you
I have four kids ages 6-9 yrs old . My 8 year old daughter loves this blanket and it has saved our family from grumpy mornings. She would never sleep in her bed moving from bed to bed because she was afraid of the dark even though she had two night table lamps and sleep noise machine. She could never stop “thinking ” long enough so she could never relax . It was becoming a problem for all the kids due to her creeping into their beds.
