The raclette cheese melted beautifully, however, why were there only 4 wooden spatulas, when it is meant for 8 people?
Do not rub the underneath of the non stick hot plate too hard, the non stick protection comes off very easily (I just used a cloth with some Cif on it and it was black from the non stick coating).

I’ve used these abroad where they’re the norm. The UK can be a bit backward at mealtimes usually involving trays, watching TV and microwave food.
This thing adds involvement and makes family get togethers good. Even cooking basic food like strips of steak, pork, bacon, chicken, baby tomatoes or mushrooms makes for fun. The Raclette trays underneath for grilling cheese and different toppings while the organiser brings the potatoes or skinny fries from the kitchen to suit.
Use a little olive oil to get things going to start. Ramekins with different sauces makes it. A meal lasts hours and the conversation flows. You cook your food how you like it. A window open nearby for a bit of ventilation is good.
Or you can stick to muck from takeaways and feel lethargic afterwards. Your choice.
Well worth the cash.
I have another raclette with a stone top and ideally was looking for the same but was pleasantly surprised with this one, we had a dinner party with both raclettes, the stone top and this one, this one far outperformed the other, Cheeses melted and toasted faster, meat and veg cooked on top were beautifully charred and tasty. I would recommend it.
After enjoying the experience in France with friends we decided to get ourselves a raclette grill. Great for friends and family get togethers around the dining table. Does give off a lot of heat which you can control but be mindful and protect your table below just incase the heat damages the wood. Not actually cooked on the top yet as when it arrived we had another meal planned so just adapted that meal and used the lower part to melt cheese and other items. Loved it and can’t wait to use again. Good size and quality and reasonably priced too.

This is a very versatile device, easy to clean and very flexible in its uses. My partner is absolutely delighted with it.
Ok not as good as a Pierrade but does the job for small groups outside or in. Undertray do not seem to cook as quickly. Makes for an easy dinner for groups

After 1st use I also had an issues with the non stick coating getting off 2 pans. I contacted the seller, they replied very quickly and sent a set of 4 pans, really good customer service!
Apart from this, the raclette machine works really well, it does what it’s supposed to do 🙂
Easy to use once you have all the food prepared it’s like using a bbq with the flames. It doesn’t take long to clean and put away once cooled down.

Overall the grill is very good. Easy to use, easy to clean and very hot for cooking food. I like i.
A flaw i did notice is its advertised a table top grill but the cord i quite small which is great for in the kitchen as I dont want the cord to be grilled so can keep it neat and tidy and safe while cooking but it wouldn’t go from a table to a plug socket.
A quick wash if the hot plate and pans and its ready to use out the box.

Arrived the following day & I used it that evening. Great product. Only gripe is that there is already a cooking stain on the base where one of the little pans sit.
The only negative for this item is the grill trays are small apart from that a fun and sociable piece of kit highly recommend.
Does what it says all very easy to use and clean not had one problem with this product highly recommended

Does the job, am used to gas powered raclette grills rather than electric. The fact its electric.makes it far more convenient however somewhat effects the.way it cooks (though this could be me being nostalgic). The hot plate on the top works surprisingly well, I didnt use it to cook raw meat mind you, but it did a great job on mushrooms and peppers.
Quality is really good and so far there hasn’t been a problem.

Made of teflon, super easy to clean. Comes with the 8 mini pans, so you can have a table set for up to 8 people (but not necessarily). Adjustable thermosat makes it easy to give it the full power or to keep it low. A great eve entertainment dinner for everyone. Highly recommended!
Put oil in the food trays or the thin black layer will detach on cleaning. The overall package is however, very good
